Update 10/5/2020 I asked the only staff available on the floor, (sporting goods) for the price of carriage bolts as they are not listed. He did not know and just stiod there with his arms crossed. I went to the front and asked, getting the answer that the parts are sold by the pound. When I returned, the sporting goods employee walked over to me and asked If I got my answer. I told him it is by the pound. Perhaps I can recieve compensation for training this employee.I get so frustrated with those that work the back at this location. Very unhelpful.I get exceptional service from the front of the house. However, every time something has to be radioed to the back, I hear irritation ad additude. Recently, I gave a concern to the employees in the back about false advertising to no avail. There is 12 percent protein bird food advertised as 30 percent. Excellent in the front, boo in the back.

Kevin is a rockstar. Hands down. He answer is never “no”. Rather how can he get it done. Thank you for helping with my big fence project.

It is strange, when I go to Big R some of their employees (not all) act put off in helping a person. Sometimes I think it is because I am wearing a NASA or Hawaiian shirt. You should treat all of you customers the same, it doesnt matter if they came in casual clothes, looking like a million dollars, or had just sheared a herd of sheep.Guess what guy, I can almost guarantee I was raised in a smaller town than you. So, dont look down at me as if I am some city slicker and that you are better than me.

I like when a owner(s) step out of the box (monument, fountain, falcon and powers & constitution stores) and takes a gamble to bring a new product in. I accidentally ran across it Christmas shopping (2019) just after Thanksgiving last year. went home and did my research on it and was impressed. went back to the store and easy spent $100.00 plus on this product and shared them with family and friends. Followed the instructions per the bottle and been using it since the first part of December on multiple vehicles of mine. it has done what it says it is going to do so far. Made in the USA. Also, thank you for carrying this product and supporting a local business. Been tracking my fuel mileage. It has put money back in my pocket. between me and my coworkers using it. There has been a variance when they have seen the a difference from within a 1/2 tank from the initial tank fill up until the 4th tank fill up. Also works great with small engines and 2 cycle equipment. Manufacturer is great responding on technical questions.Update: Big R has decided they will not be reordering/ restocking this product at this time. there is some limited quantities left between stores. if this product has worked for you. just go to the vendors website or call them. they do have a couple of new bottle options on there too.

I called for a price over the phone and was given a price but when i got to the store the price was jacked up. This is horrible customer service, next time check the price dont just gues.

Its a pretty good place to get your animal supplies and food for the animals, prices are a little high for there stuff.

I love Big R first and foremost. This review has to do with a cashier named Malia . She was rude and had a condescending tone the whole 2 transactions I had with her today. The second transaction I was with my wife feting Christmas gifts and she was still rude even to my wife . When asked how her day was she just grunted. There was no greeting or politeness with her .

Very displeased with business. No sense in saying names because Im pretty sure that they dont care. But walked in to spend $300. On a $200 gun. Didnt really care about the price, but was blown away that the employee talked me out of buying the gun? I could tell the moment I said I was there to purchase a gun the employee didnt want to do the work. He literally came up with every reason why it couldnt be done. Now I usually go to stop drop and shop to purchase my guns. They are friendly, fair priced and professional. I will say if that is what you are looking for, dont go to bigr.. you will not find it here. I know that they will not care about this review, but in enough time I will tell this story to enough people that it will be told to them again and again...

I needed to refill my propane tank I was very happy with the service, information that was provided and the very affordable price.

Good products and usually friendly people, but either not all of their cashiers know how to do a military discount, or they just cant do math correctly.I showed my military ID and requested the military discount. Their immediate response was to ask if I had a loyalty card. Never needed one before for the discount, but I figured, Sure. Lets get one. Got it rung up and it looked off and I mentioned so. Cashier replied the discount is only 5 percent now. Did the math real quick as I left and I only got 3 percent. Not a ton of money either way, but it is annoying.++Clarification++ I was not bothered by the change in the military discount policy. I still feel awkward asking for it, even at places that I know have a discount. I was bothered by the uncertainty that arose when the cashier gave me conflicting info on the new percentage rate versus what showed up on the register. Apparently, she was not fully aware of the two different rates for different categories of items. Its just disconcerting when someone tells you they are charging you one price and the receipt tells you differently.

Fantastic place. Really helpful staff, good prices, and a huge variety of everything you didnt know you needed.

I have gone to the same store 3 days in a row to buy a trailer and every single day they have had a different excuse as to why they cant sell me a trailer. If you cant have the staff to sell a trailer why sell them and display it? Overall all rating is 💩💩Edit: Update: Was able to buy a trailer today thanks to a lady named Carole. She even stayed a little after her shift ended to even assist in someone else purchasing a trailer. For her efforts I revise my 1 star to a 4 star. Thank you again!

Went here because I needed a watering can for my flowers. Called in advance and the lady said she had a $9 one I was like cool because the one I seen was $17. I told her to put it up for me, I was on the way. I got there it was the $39 can and the place I left was close. The manager said she can take it down to $29 dollars. 😒 But jokes on them because I went to Lowe’s and got the same 2 gallon can for $5. Was upset because of the inconvenience. My first time there and I don’t know if I need to go there if I can get what I need cheaper from somewhere else.

Was able to get what I needed from here for my filtration system when I couldnt find it anywhere else. The staff were friendly and helpful. This Big R location is pretty good.

Small big r but has a little bit of everything

I like this place. I had to go here 4 times because I kept forgetting things while doing two projects at once (replacing oil pressure sending unit on jeep and restoring an old table). The customer service and great and eventually I got everything I needed to finish.

Great, friendly staff as well as being knowledgeable. Important note - I really appreciate that the staff will take the time to get you the right answer rather than simply sell. Also, big kudos on being dog friendly! Well behaved pets are made to feel very welcome. I havent hit other Big R locations in the area though the people at this particular location have been marvelous in every way on every visit.

Helpful and friendly staff. And, I always find what Im looking for. Highly recommend this store for just the customer service alone. I find it to be better than other Big Rs I have stepped into. Store is always clean and well organized.

Went in, was greeted when I walked in the door. I hadnt gotten more than 100 feet into the store before I was asked if I needed help finding anything. I told them and they took me right over to what I was looking for, and pointed out a few other options. Ask me if I wanted any pop corn and even got it for me when I said yes. Yep Amazing! Their pet toys are the same thing that larger retailers sale, and for a lower price.

Sat at the customer service desk for over 10 minutes as 6 sales associates walk by and not one of them asked me if I needed help nor did they even look my way or stop.. a sales associate paged someone to come to the desk to make a dog tag and no one showed up..

Mgr Cyrus is super helpful. Helped me make up my mind and explained everything to me so I could understand. Also called for some help and was treated professionally and respectfully. Will return.

The folks here care about helping you fix things around your house and offer great ideas that are simple and inexpensive to help when you are trying to get parts for a project at home. They have a great selection of work clothes as well as western wear and most anything you would need on a farm or ranch.

Looking for a drain valve for Rubbermaid stock tank which I couldnt locate so ask an associatr. He directed me to customers service. No one showed up. I decided to leave. A cashier asked if I found what I was looking for since I was not making a purchase and I told her what I was looking or and without looking anything up she told me she did ever know what I was looking for so she didnt think you carried any valvesWorst customer service ever

I was completely blow away from the info I got from Cyrus and Frank. We got the blackdiamond 25 ton log splitter, returned home and got to work. They told me what it was going to do, and it did. Im no stranger to splitting wood but cotton wood can be hard not a problem for what they sold me. Great staff, friendly, smart. Will continue to do business here for home and my company. Went in with a buddy who had cash in hand to buy a Liberty Safe. After around 15 minutes of standing there waiting for some assistance we left. The department wasnt busy. I wont be back neither will my friend.

I would love to give this store 5 stars has I only live a mile down the road, and before recently never had an issue. However for the last few months I have dealt with multiple different occasions where the run out of dog and puppy food, and it will be weeks until they get it in again. More recently I found a great puppy food and since the only time I bought it, they have not had it since(well over a month.) If you gonna buy dog food go somewhere else where they actually know how to place orders

Big R staff are always great to my husband and I! Today they have rabbits, chickens and special horseshoe art on sale in their parking lot. The number for the guy that makes the I love you out of horse shoes is in the photo with his permission if you would like to order direct from him over the phone. I think that is the cutest sign I have ever seen made out of horse shoes.

The manager needs to be re educated on customer service, store product and store policy. The customer shouldnt know more then management staff.If no sales receipt is present at the time of return a merchandise credit will be issuedfor the lowest sale price the item has been sold within the last 6 months.

They were quite helpful when finding what I needed. Staff were friendly. Some of the customers I couldve done without😛 All in all it was a good experience! Wide variety of thing to shop for. Was pleasantly surprised!

Went to go buy a trailer. However all the trailers I wanted had damage from people being careless. So I was going to spend more money on a better one. An hour and a half later I was still waiting for the paperwork to be completed. Absolutely no sense of working with a purpose. Ended up walking out because clearly my business wasnt wanted.

Im shopping at Big R for many many years they seem to have a lot of turnover lately. You never get the same people helping you . I think they got too big and theyre losing sight of the customers. Employees not trained properly. There coupons are sketchy. The Big R got converted to the ranch identity and its now comprised of 12 independent owners. I guess some of the owners dont feel they have to give customer service and train their employees and give good store coupons what they use to do in the past. Folks its all about making money for the owner not about the consumer and customer anymore nothing new.

We had to drive up from Pueblo because this was the only store in the area that had the parts we needed. It was worth it because Chris in hardware was so helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks so much.

Great place to get a lot of basics for around the home. Some areas of the store has limited selection, but you can usually find what you need. The store is amazing with helping and being visible in the community.

They dont have allot of stuff in Stock. Usually they are out of something you go there to get. Manager is real nice, dont understand why they cant keep stuff in Stock. Never run into that problem with the store on powers.

My wife and I shop here frequently. The have a decent selection of clothing and I like the deal they have on irregular jeans. The service has always been less than stellar. You will have to hunt someone down to help you in clothing to get the changing room opened and if you get Rebecca you can always expect attitude like you are an inconvenience rather than a customer who needs to be served. We appreciate the hours as we are rarely in town in the day time. Wish they carried a selection of QUALITY tack. Finding it difficult to find quality tack in this area.Overall an acceptable shopping experience.

Normally I like to give good reviews However one item was mis marked by over $8, And another one was mismarked by over $20. I had to go back and take pictures to prove it, took 20 minutes just to get out!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. From the second I walked into this store I had no less then 4 employees following me throughout the whole store. When I left ,there were 4 employees, and a manager standing by the front doors to tell me to have a nice dayI paid for my merchandise, so I dont know why they think that its ok to treat costumers this way. The overweight manager was so out of breath from following me around the whole store, that she couldnt even give me an explanation of their rude behavior.I will NEVER come back to this location, and I spend a lot of money at big R. Save yourself the embarrassment, and go to springs. This location is disgusting and they dont know how to treat their customers!

Other than the parking lot needing some painting the store and employees are great.

Has a wide variety of things. Has tons of equine medicine for my pony. Has go karts and dirt bikes for the kids, real tools and welding consumables, and you cant forget about all the things that go boom

One employee. Seriously, there is never more than one person working at a time in this location. I havent been here in over a year due to the fact that the employees here know nothing about there products and its seriously understaffed. Today I was desperate and didnt have time to make my usual trek to Monument Tractor Supply. As usual, this Big R had only one person on staff and she wasnt a very happy employee either. Will not be back.

I enjoyed my visits to this location in the past. Today I encountered a young cashier that was more interested in socializing than working with my ATM card that decided to be difficult. It has happened on a couple of other visits to this Big R and the staff was.professional working with me. The manager called.to assist was very calus and indifferent. My grandson, who is Ausitic, tried to engage in conversation unsuccessfully. Sad, sad visit.

Its a good store. Sometimes you get knowledgeable assistance and sometimes you dont. Otherwise, its clise, convenient, and the feed prices are good. The clothing prices are wayyyyyyy to high. Even their clearance is shocking expensive.

They are helpful and know the answers to all my questions as well as polite.

The folks at this store are soooo customer friendly! They are so ready to assist, it is pleasure to drive from the north side of Colorado Springs to shop there. Further, their selection of big/tall mens pants is the best in town.
