I needed a winter tire swap on my daughters Volvo C30 T5 so I needed a company that I could trust to give it in a sense the white glove treatment to protect the rims and car. Ive read too many bad reviews for Costco where I had an appointment as well as the dealership where we normally service her car. So I researched for a top reviewed tire shop and honestly couldnt believe I found a 5 star mechanic who does nearly everything your car needs according to the owner. Not only did they take me as a walk in, they got it done in a timely manner without a scratch. Their rates are beyond fair and I actually paid half what other tire shops want. I trust them to take good care of my daughters auto needs. This is my daughters new mechanic. I highly recommend Stehlik Service which is family owned. In fact has been here in El Paso county for three generations. As the owners son shared with me his great-grandpa owned a Big-O Tire which the family kept each generation until they finally established an independent business which I feel in todays corporate world was a very wise decision.

We started using Stehlik a little over a year ago and now we won’t take our cars anywhere else. They are kind, knowledgeable, and simply present the facts for me to make a decision on what I’d like to fix. I’ve brought used cars here to be looked at before buying them and they’ve done such a thorough job. I love these guys- can’t rave about them enough!

This was our first visit to Stehlik and boy are we impressed! These guys really know their stuff! Also, theyre not trying to gouge anyone for money as other places sometimes do! They wouldnt perform an alignment on our truck due to the fact that it needs ball joints which would prevent an accurate alignment. So instead, they showed us the problem and then explained about the fact that they didnt want to take our money for the alignment since it wouldnt be a true alignment due to the ball joint issue. We did get new tires which give an amazing ride now! Needless to say Im sure, WE WILL BE BACK! Great job gentleman, we sure do appreciate your integrity!!

This is essentially going to be two reviews in one, bottom line up front though this is the now the auto repair shop I trust the most in Colorado Springs.My car was having issues and so I had it towed to Service Street Auto Repair on North Carefree. I suspected it needed a clutch replacement, which they confirmed. They offered to replace the clutch for a 2008 Honda Civic for $2500 (though they did eventually agree to $2000).After my brother who owns his own mechanic shop told me I should be able to find some cheaper options, someone recommended Stehlik Service and Tire to me, who offered to do the replacement for ~$1200. After being told this I called back Service Street and let them know I was having my car towed to a different shop, and they told me Just be careful because shops will give you the cost estimate over the phone you want to hear just to get you into their shop... (sounds like they were telling on themselves if you ask me). Stehlik Service and Tire were true to their word though and saved me well over $800 on a basic clutch replacement. Additionally their employees were all extremely professional and down to earth. I will definitely be coming back here for any car needs, thank you for helping me out!

I visit Colorado a lot for family. Every time I am in town I make sure to stop here and get all of my car work and oil changes. They are professional and don’t try and take advantage of you in any way. They never make me feel ridiculous for asking questions about things I don’t know and want to make sure I understand. I have taken my car to them three times to fix my oil leak and they charged me three times and my car still leaks oil. We also had them put tires on my daughter’s car we bought Goodyear tires but the put another cheaper brand on her car charged us and didn’t tell us about it. Maybe they felt guilty so later they called to tell us they put the wrong tires on and put the ones on they charged us for. They said they would give us both sets of tires for our inconvenience. But they never put the second set of tires in our car. So this is not an honest business. I was hoping to have found an honest mechanic but no they are not.

I went to them back in Feb 2021 for an coolant leak. It was a hose issue. They fixed the leak without issues and a fair price. They treated me just like anyone else walking through the door. I was not treated differently for being a woman. I wasn’t talked down to and the issue was explained thoroughly. They even took me back to the car to show me the specific issue first hand. Flash forward to May 2021, and I have a coolant leak again. They fit me in quickly and took a look under the hood. This time my oil coolant assembly was leaking all around. They gave me a quote. They discussed what was needed and why. They were patient, compassionate, and kind as I talked things out with my husband. Once they fixed the issue and put everything back together, they noticed a different leak that was masked by how significant the original leak was. They apologized profusely and even gave me a discount on the cost of repairs. Garth and Shane truly believe in taking care of their customers and not just tacking on more and more. I appreciate their treatment and kindness. I will be a repeat customer.

Friendly. accommodating and a Military discount. Picked up my wheels from the powder coater, but they still needed to be balanced before I could mount them on my vehicle. It was very late in the day, but I took a chance, stopped in and they got me in/out within 30min. Thanks again guys, wheels look great on the car, will definitely be back.

5 Stars for sure. I have known the Stehlik family for almost 20 years now. They have always been in the local family owned tire and automotive service business. For the latter half of those 20 years I have lived in Kansas City and I will always, always get my car tuned up, oil changed, tires rotated or new tires every time I come back to Colorado Springs. Truth, honesty, competitive pricing, and they will always shoot you straight on what you do and do not need. When they say they will treat you like family... they literally will as if your car, was their own car. The only downside about Stehlik S&T , is that I cannot clone them and have them build a shop in KC

I went in this weekend because my wrangler was shaking really bad on the interstate. I had already gone to discount tire to make sure my wheel/tires and tire pressure were okay and they said everything was fine (which it wasn’t because it felt like my wheels were going to pop off when driving at high speeds.) I had heard of Stehlik before and how they were a small business and how honest they were. I gave them a call and they got me right in! Shane took a look and took me to see how my tread was wearing unevenly and explained that was most likely my problem. He then took it for a test drive. Came back and rotated my tires and the did ANOTHER test drive to make sure his diagnosis was correct and it was! I asked if I needed new tires and he said not yet! They spent so much time with me as a first time client and in the end didn’t even charge me! I am beyond thankful for them and I will 100% be back when I need new tires! Very honest and I am VERY impressed. Thank you Shane!

This place is awesome. The best part is its walk in but youre not waiting for hours and no appt necessary. I got an alignment done. They said an hour and it was exactly that. Theyre located near the powers end if the Rock Island Trail so got my car fixed and I got my exercise in too!!

I usually dont give a 5 star to a lot of places. Honestly I have nothing bad to say about this place. I was skeptical at first, because Im a woman and a lot of the places I would take my car to would try to rip me off. Not this place, they were completely open and honest about what I needed and helped direct me to a place that could help me with a problem they couldnt. This local shop goes above and beyond to ensure you and your vehicle are safe for the road year round. I have been coming here since they opened a few years ago and I will never consider another shop. They are knowledgeable, affordable, and friendly. I had an upcoming road trip and they made special accommodations for me to make sure my new tires were delivered and installed before my trip. Truly outstanding service and people. The large waiting room is a plus too.

I cannot speak highly enough about this family run local business. Shane and Garth are amazing! Communication is top priority. I drive a lifted jeep wrangler sport. I am a girl who came to them not knowing terribly to much about my jeep. Both Shane, Garth, and crew have gone out of their way to educate me and make sure I understand what is going on. They are also so honest about work i should have other 4x4 shops do. This annual trip to get the jeep updated Shane went out of his way to search and find my shocks for a better price at a local store. Great service. I went in there for a plug in my tire and was expecting to spend $30-50 for them to remove the nail and inspect the other tires. I wasnt there for about 15 minutes and the gentlemen came up to me and handed me my keys. Said he removed the screw and it hadnt punctured so he inspected them all and didnt charge me a dime. Ill definitely be giving them all my business from now on.

I always work on my own vehicles when its something I know I can do myself but when youre out of town and have an issue, thats another story. My wife and I were in the Springs for the weekend when our car had major issues (stalling, shutting down in traffic, etc.) Fortunately the guys at a nearby Autozone told us that Stehlik was the best. You know what? They were putting it mildly. They stopped what they were doing to help us out on a Saturday afternoon, reassured us that we were good to go and gave me hope for the human race in these trying times. These guys are THE! BEST! and trust me, Ive known a lot of mechanics over the years, being one myself. Dont hesitate to bring your vehicle to them. You wont be sorry! Now, Im going to order them pizzas for lunch. I found these guys last year and they have been amazing EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. They have done our oil changes and tires and when we have other mechanic work I am defiantly going to continue to take our cars there. We came for a punctured tire and a check engine light. Our tire was fixed in less than 30 mins and we where given honest results from the code reader. My name is Kennedy, and I had trouble with my 2010 Pathfinder because it would not start! I was hesitant about reaching out to a car service shop only because I am a 20 year old female who doesnt know much about vehicles. Therefore, I always have the fear that I am going to be persuaded into buying parts and fixing areas on my car that actually dont need to be bought or fixed. However, this experience for me couldnt have been more pleasant! Garth and Shane were so friendly and very informative, they made sure to keep me updated about my car through out the day so I wouldnt be left in the dark. The day my car was taken to the shop it actually decided to start up that day (oddly enough), and they still made sure to look at my car efficiently and effectively. My car was low on oil and I needed new brake pads (for the front) and Rotors as well because when I pressed on the brakes it would make a very strange noise. And, even though I needed these services there wasnt any pressure for me to go through with the brake pads and rotors because they wanted to focus on my cars main issue (it not starting). They also give you an estimate on the parts, labor, and the job before they do anything to your car to make sure it is something that you actually want to pursue (estimate includes labor and taxes, it will be the EXACT price walking out the door so there is no surprises). They honestly give you the best advice on what needs to be fixed urgently and what can be fixed later on.. instead of throwing everything out there on the table at once. They are very trustworthy people and I will definitely come back if/when I run into more car troubles! If you are looking for integrity, honesty, friendliness, and knowledge I absolutely would recommend this place! Once you try it, you will see why this experience is so pleasant ! It is a great place to start when looking for a loyal full service shop!Pricing is affordable/ reasonable as well!

Stehlik has really gone above and beyond in helping us with our AC system. Their service is timely and effective.Even after we continued to have problems with the unit after getting the compressor replaced we were never once were we told it was all in our head.They kept our car for a day and a half, running it to try and recreate the problem that we were having and wouldnt accept any labor cost when we got it back.These guys are amazing, they really care about their customers and want to get things right.I very much recommend going to them!
