Looks like a miniature Micro Center. Much smaller stick and some really old but unique items. Saw some old HTPC cases that would make a great SFF build. Lots of older parts from off lease systems. So, if you need an older CPU to go with a cheap MB you got from a friend check them out. Plenty of new stuff, too.They have complete systems new and off lease. So if you need some RAM or a CPU cooler they probably have it.GPUs? They had three 30 series when I was there for 3X MSRP. So, sure. Took a star away for the scalper pricing.Interesting enough, there is also a pharmacy attached. So, if the GPU prices give you heartburn or a headache they have you covered.

I bought a wireless keyboard which would not connect to my computer. I returned it two days after purchase with all original packaging and my receipt, and they charged a 15% restocking fee. No retailer I know would do this under these circumstances. Also beware they charge a $5 minimum to use a debit card at their post office. If a package costs $4 to mail, you’ll be paying $5 at this place. These charges are part of the normal course of doing business and should not fall back on the customer. I will never walk in that place again.

Why overpay for a new cpu/graphics card on ebay when you can pay the same scalpers pricing locally? 5600x for 60% over msrp, and nvidia 3070 for roughly same margins. Cant be mad for them trying to make money, but I am disappointed.

Ive been here several times over the years and I really wanted to like it. Unfortunately, all their new products have consistently sold at or above retail value. Even ones that were considered new over a decade ago sell at/above their original retail price. Considering the competition, Pattons products are significantly overpriced. The selection itself isnt all that bad, and you may be able to find more niche items here that you wouldnt in other stores. That being said, they are currently somewhat/severely lacking in their selection of basic items such as keyboards, controllers, mice, and headsets- just to name a few.Also note that if you receive a product that is faulty, you are completely at their mercy. My experience was that, despite me only owning the product for 3 hours before contacting Patton, I was blamed for the damage and denied a refund. The product in question was a set of racing pedals, a product intended to handle sizeable amounts of force for long durations of time. After 3 hours, I discovered a large crack under the brake pedal. Seeing as force should be transferred directly into the ground when you step on the pedal, there should be no way for the base to crack other than a manufacturing defect.* Still, the owner was very adamant that I was simply too rough with the product, and demonstrated that I was by holding the unit up and forcing the pedal down, furthering the damage. I was lucky enough to get a replacement unit, but in the case that they were unable to obtain one, I wouldve likely been out nearly $200 with a product broken beyond utility.The employees here are kind, helpful, and understanding, as they always have been. However, I cannot say the same for the owner based on the one interaction Ive had with him. Your mileage may vary, but it seems that other reviewers have had similar experiences. Bottom line, I would shop around and consider all your options before biting the bullet on a product here. When you can find identical products for 70% of Pattons price online, you have to weigh how much you value a couple days of shipping time- or a 20 minute drive to another store. Personally, I wont be returning, as Im not comfortable buying expensive products that the store wont even stand behind.*I now also own another pedal set that Ive applied many times more force to with zero problems whatsoever; there is no doubt in my mind that the product was faulty.

They have a huge selection of parts and peripherals for every need, and the employees are super helpful. Plus, it may sound picky, but not all PC stores are so spacious, clean, and well lit. Were lucky to have a big, shiny computer shop like Patton Computers these days! I know because Ive worked in several of them in the past 30 years.

Ive used Patton Computers a few times over the years. Theyve all ways done good work for fair prices, but today they were Amazing!Ive had ongoing slow internet issues. I finally was able to upgrade to fiber this morning. However, after several hours the internet tech gave up. I called Billy at about 4:30 today (a holiday weekend Friday). He sent Justin right away. He had the right equipment in stock and brought it right over. In about an hour he was able to figure out that my security cameras were causing the wifi interference. Now our wifi is blazing fast in every room of our house. Thanks guys!

I would never... NEVER. Buy anything from this place. They dont care about customer service at all. Yet, on top of it all. They wanted to charge me $1,049.00 + Tax on a product thats MSRP was $499.00 . They are not a place I would tell anyone to go. Even on the phone they told me I was holding them up.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL!!!

This is probably one of the largest computer stores if you need specialty parts. If you’re building a computer or you’re doing some kind of networking this is the place you wanna go. Best Buy may sell electronics but this place specializes in computer and network peripheral‘s.

They built a gaming/work PC for me. They priced better than other places in town by a few hundred dollars. For the extra money you spend vs. online/build yourself you get a professional build plus a great warranty. In the end the it’s about a wash but you support a local business and you have someone close by and on hand to answer questions if things go wrong. They were extremely responsive when I bugged them with questions along the way via email. I’ll use them again if I decide to upgrade, as they were very professional and gave me honest advice, not pressuring me into upsales.

Took my personal computer to have it looked at after it wasnt turning on correctly. I took it to 2 other places that could not find the problem. I took it to Patton and Tyler located the issue within an hour or two. They were able to fix the problem and make a few recommendations and got it running better than before. I couldnt be happier with the knowledge and customer service. I would highly recommend to anyone with any computer issues. Might not be cheapest in town, but you definitely get your moneys worth.

Staff is polite and friendly. I had to send a package via USPS and they are open much later than any post office. They have all of the necessary supplies for packaging and shipping USPS. I needed to print a shipping label and they had a computer and printer available for use for a nominal fee. I will continue to use them.

I went to have the charging port replaced because my phone wasnt charging. The tech found something lodged in the port that wouldnt let the phone charge. They could have easily just changed the port and charged me but they didnt. I was happy when he handed the phone back and shared the good news with me. During this visit I decided to replace the screen protector and after i purchased it, they even installed it for no extra charge. I will be a return customer.

Avoid Patton Computers. I took my phone there a while back to have the screen repaired. When I was there I was not treated well. I could not get my questions answered. Also, I observed the owner, Billy Patton, yelling at a woman. When she left she was crying. Needless to say I took my phone somewhere else. The other firm did a great job. Who needs Patton?

This is what I said a year ago:I must agree with Zack Turner. I went in the store, greeted them nicely, but was not greeted in response. I myself have a vast knowledge of computers and have worked with many customers of high standard who have been, for lack of a better word, screwed over by this company. I inquired about parts to upgrade my system and it was made very apparent that if i was not going to buy the parts, right then, that i wasnt welcome. I do quality repairs and upgrades to computers of all kinds, and I might add at a fraction of the price.I must now (not fully, but yet some) retract what I said, or in a better way commend on improvements. I appreciate a response from Billy Patton who has apologized for my previous experience.I have again visited the store more than once and have to say that I am glad for the improvements on a customer service level as well as the sales side of it. I didnt feel like I needed to buy anything, I was welcomed, and the team members did inquire about my needs for the day. I am also happy to report that the attitude of we are better than anybody has receded.I spent about about an hour on my last visit, browsing around all different parts of the store, keeping an unbiased opinion, I actually found a couple good deals.Lastly I would like to add that after some research I found that they werent quite the rip-offs that some people think they are, there are worse companies out there. And as a fellow partner in the technological realm, I will use Patton Computers as a source for some products.In conclusion, I would like to apologize for the review that I wrote, but now understand that it may one of the factors that they have worked on to improve customer experience and would encourage anyone that had a bad experience there once or more, to revisit this store and give it a different perspective.

I live in Millington and its a grating, horrible slog to get to this store because people are so mind-numbingly slow on the road but its worth it because this place is just about the only really decent computer shop around. This seems to be the only place you can get parts off the shelf when you need them the same day anywhere around.No disrespect to this place but it would be awesome if we had a Frys Electronics around here. They have a warehouse in Memphis, but no actual store.Yall pull your thumb out, put your phone down, and get on down the road already, will you? Jeez!

When I picked up my laptop, after it had been in shop for 4 + weeks due to a “hard to find” part, I realized the laptop case still had a gap and was loose at the corner - as it had not been been repaired properly. The service techs said there was nothing else that could be done. I asked to speak with the owner. He was kind, apologized for the issue and asked if I could leave the laptop with him for a couple of hours and told me that if he couldn’t repair it to my satisfaction he would issue a complete refund. Patton computers called a short while later and told me the laptop was ready. They fixed it correctly and met my expectations! As a small business owner myself it is not necessarily the initial work that counts as much as how far the owner(s) will stand behind their work to ensure customers are satisfied. I will certainly use Patton Computers for my service in the future!

Will not be back. Been in there 2 other times and the employees act very arrogant. Walked out and went to Office Depot.The response from Patton Computers was I came in and was upset with my son. I do not have a son, maybe if these guys would listen just a little more and not treat customers like we are intruding on their day more people would go back. A little customer service training might help.

Ive used Patton Computers many times over the years, mostly to replace cracked/broken iPhone or iPad screens. Theyve always been courteous/polite, helpful and efficient. They also stand behind their parts and work. Recently Patton replaced the screen on my phone but it was faulty. When I returned a few days later to explain the problems I was having they put a new one on immediately and apologized for the inconvenience.

STAY AWAY! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!BROKE MY COMPUTER BEYOND REPAIR!I had my computer reduced to a big paper weight by Patton Computers. I was told it would take 4 days to install windows on my laptop.....it ended up taking 2 weeks and they just broke the computer beyond repair. I had called 3 times and stopped in twice and they NEVER mentioned that they were having trouble. I understand sometimes things go wrong, but at least treat me with some respect. I have been lied to and given the run around so many times my head is spinning. I cant even get in touch with someone who has the authority to give me a refund on the labor!**Just an update. I was able to finally meet with Mr. Patton and he did refund my money. I want to give him credit for trying to make things right.

My 7 year old ACER laptop started flashing/blinking on and off. It gradually got worse. I had enough. I took it to Patton Computers and after a few days they called and said it was fixed. I went to pick it up and brought it home after a few hours it started blinking again. They gave me a 30 day warranty. I took it back they got rid of a lot of junk I had downloaded. In a few days they called and said it was fixed. I picked it up and brought it home and have been using it now for a week and not one single blink. My laptop runs like brand new. They are tops in my book. These guys were very polite and helpful. I hope I dont have to use them again, but I will not hesitate if I need them.

There really isnt anywhere like Patton Computers in town, or anywhere. They have more parts and computers than anyone else in town, and real stuff... not just the junk at Best Buy. They have really friendly staff that are actually knowledgeable. I think some people here are maybe confusing nerdy guys with being unfriendly somehow. But these are genuine nerds, who care about their work. Everyone I send there loves dealing with them.And thats really the advantage they have over places like Frys or Microcenter that Ive been to before in other cities. Theyre real people who you can talk to and who are part of the community in Collierville. Theyll be happy to tell you up front when work isnt worth doing (Ive asked, and theyve told me before). I like it because they are low-pressure people who love what they do, and are happy to share it with you. They care more about making sure youre happy and come back, than about making a quick buck.And now theyre doing phones which is awesome. Im so glad I have an alternative to sending it off to someone I dont know.

So I wondered in the store for the first time a while back to observe prices as I am looking to upgrade my gaming rig. Looking at prices I was amazed how bad they were. A GTX 1080ti for $1,000 when Newegg and Best Buy had the same one for $750. Also, a motherboard that is 3 generations old for over $300. I mean seriously, I understand having a price markup but a markup that big is amazingly stupid. I’ll keep elsewhere

If you go in the store - the staff is always friendly and helpful! It is worth taking the time to say Hello to Billy Patton - he knows EVERYONE in Collierville! (and is a real sweetheart!) Staff listens attentively to your computer questions and treats customers with respect. Store has a shipping department and just about anything you can think of computer or electronic - wise.We have had tech reps out to our house twice. They were thorough and stayed until our tech problems were solved. (Often not charging past the second hour!) I would definitely buy from Patton Computers and/or have their techs to my house again! I cant wait to check out their new store! (being built right behind Perkins)Also, on a personal note, Billy Patton gives back to the community in so many ways. He was a huge supporter of the Collierville Farmers Market and supports lots of local causes!Thanks Patton Computers!

These people are arrogant and rude. I will never be back. I drove all the way from south Memphis to take a laptop for my sister to have a virus removed. I ask them how much it would cost and they quoted me $89. Then I ask them how long it would take and was told 4 to 5 days. They did not look busy and I ask could they do it sooner. The guy said if I paid $60 more he could have in one or two days. That don’t seem fair. If you got lots of money you can get your work faster. Besides that they acted like they didn’t want me in their place. My money is as good as the next guys. On the way back home I took it to a place in Memphis and it was done in 2 hrs for under $70. Never use Patton!

I cannot even explain how grateful I am to Patton Computers. I have used on several occasions for both pc and Mac products. They have always been less expensive than other alternatives and knowledgeable about even more complicated repairs. Recently, I had an external hard drive stolen from my car that contains images and data 4 for 5 years. I was devastated, and had made a post on a Facebook site offering a reward in the hopes that someone would take pity and return the external drive that had all of our family photos. I didnt expect to ever get a response. Billy, from Patton computers, called me and told me that they had made a backup for me when they did the computer repair and data transfer to the stolen drive and that they had everything that I had had stolen still available for me. I didnt even know that this was a service they provided. Patton was so proactive in not only protecting my data, but contacting me to let me know that it was still available. This is truly a company dedicated to its customers. You dont find that very often anymore. I am a lifelong customer.

Had Iphone 5 screen replaced and 2-3 days later home button fell out. My daughter was not able to find it so I took it in and they charged me for a new home button. Said they could not verify if it was an existing issue since the original home button was not provided. I said home button was fine and has never fallen out before screen was replaced. Guy told me no way to verify that. I said that is why you have a checklist of items you check off that are working before you accept the phone for repair. What good is that checklist for? Plus when I pay to have a screen replaced I assume all previous functionality would work the same. Not the case here, and although Patton computers are cheapest around I will not use them again since they do not stand by their service and try and pass the costs back to the customer for a poor repair job.

Terrible experience and I will never be back. I always try and shop locally but their customer service is the worst I have experienced in years. I went in to buy an adapter last night but I was not sure if it was what I needed. I asked if so could I return it for a refund. I was told yes less a 15% RESTOCKING FEE. Went up to management who told me it was not his policy so he couldnt change it. I said NOONE asks for a restocking fee anymore - Best Buy, Amazon, NOONE - except this place. Not surprising, I was the only customer in the place last night, at Christmas time, so my guess is the poor experience I had is not an exception.

7 months since my last review. 2nd time in the store. Did a full walk through this time. I can NOT speak to the repair end of the business as I have not tried it nor do I plan to based on cost/value basis of the merchandising end. To the merchandising side of it I will give my reasons for the current review.There is a huge market for aftermarket parts that is currently only served minimally by local national brands such as Best Buy (who beat Patton on price on 95% of what they carry *** which is only a fraction of what Patton carries, though its mostly the items that are currently in demand.) Every other pseudo-competitor is online. As a specialty store Patton can provide the one thing that online cannot, which is in person service and the ability to get the product in hand immediately. Patton forgets that these other competitors also have value added in their products, such as sale pricing and the ability to shop from home.The majority of the newer items in stock were marked up minimally 25% of full retail, and 30-50% of regular sale price. Some items were 600-700% markup over sale priced similar items. I understand you can quantify the value of getting it in hand. However I believe your assessed value and that which one is willing (not semi-forced due to a current issue) to pay is inflated, severely. If you intend to garner a piece of the billion dollar aftermarket pie, which has some of the most passionate hobbyists, I suggest you begin to price your items fairly. Markup on newer items is expected but at a certain point it becomes gouging and people take offense. Markup on old or out of date items is unheard of. My suggestion is push the service by creating more customers. Allow them to upgrade reasonably and know that youre there to provide any service if necessary. But dont create a sale with a customer making the purchase begrudgingly and therefore eliminating further opportunities for sales. Maybe showcase some items and use them as a loss leader. At the end of the day I believe that you could be wildly successful but youre cutting yourself off at the knees. Mom and pop dont spend $1500 on computers and upgrade them every 6 months only to start a new rig within 18 months on average. Those guys need to be your target for the merchandising side. The mom and pops - thats your service demographic.Final thought if you are in desperate need of immediate parts this is the place to come. However if you only have a day that you can wait, get it elsewhere and save yourself the aggravation. Ive come in twice hoping to see if anything would change but its not. Im sure your service sales are great and my review will most likely go unnoticed or uncared for. There would be many more customers happy to spend more on one item if they could find some others at reasonable prices. I left with the bad taste of usury in my mouth. My hopes for a local go to store for parts with my custom builds for family and friends are gone.At the very least keep up with manufacturers rebates and have some sales that cost you nothing!

Patton computer replaced the broken screen on my iPad Air. It was the 3rd time I had to replace the screen because the last 2 places didn’t put OEM screens and my kids broke the new screens almost immediately. After finding out that Patton computer gets their screens from the same place as apple I decided to give them a try. It’s been a week and my iPad is like new. I can feel the quality of the glass and it is definitely the same as OEM. The screen was installed properly as well. One of the places that previously replaced my screen didn’t remove all of the adhesive or didn’t place the new adhesive on correctly so the screen was lifting off the device in one area, but not this time. They did a really good job and I’m going to bring an iPhone 6 Plus that my kids use like an iPad mini for them to replace next. I will be coming back here for all my future devices needs. Had issues with computer turning on. Took it in paid for expedited service. Service tech called a few days later said nothing was wrong with computer. Said he also didnt even open it up. Paid a lot of money for service tech to plug it in and say nothing was wrong. Got it home and it wouldnt turn on.

Worst possible knowledge.Know nothing aboitbrouters or modems. Kept telling me to buy the most expensive $400 router even though it does not act as a modem with xfinity coax.Then told me to buy the most expensive modem and it doesnt do voip Phone.All of this after I called and spoke to someone prior to arriving and asking specifically if they had what I needed and was told yes they did.Yet they dontI skipped best buy for this place.Will NOT make that mistake again.Once I could talk above the technical guys head about what didnt and did work he said well let me know if I can help with anything else and he walked off.Horrible customer service prior on the phone and when I arrived.Avoid this place unless you just need to use the post office inside. Im hoping they know how to sell stamps....

Worst than best buy with severely over priced everything. Gave them specs on what I wanted for a computer to be built, never got a call back. Called and asked about a HDMI to display port, 7 minutes later and 3 people asking me what I was calling for, I hung up. Their techs dont even know the difference in the thermal compound, socket size performance difference or CPU cooling options.

I had a horrible experience here. They dont know what theyre doing. Took a Samsung phone with a broken blurry camera, and their repair turned out to completely disable the camera. They kept having me coming several times to check different cameras and lenses, and after so many failures they convinced me it was not fixable. However, later it was repaired easily at iRepair Collierville . Due to their failures I had to buy a new phone, believing that the camera was never going to be fixed. I ended up spending a lot more money than I had to.
