I trust them with all of my car services, as I know they have the expertise and the credibility to do it right. They explain things in a way that non-car savvy people can understand and they will not suggest or perform services if the car does not need it. She vasy very thorough at explaining all the Service Technicians suggestions and working with me to accommodate my budget constraints. I got the repairs I needed done in a timely fashion and I have already scheduled a second visit to get the remainder of my repairs completed. I was never pressured in any way (like a dealership will do) and I was encouraged to make only the repairs I felt I could afford. Davenport is the best place to take your Toyota or lexus. We have a 2003 Toyota sequoia with multiple warning lights that had come.on. They are a very honest shop and very reasonable. Just dropped off our lexus for 75000 mile service.

They provided a prioritized list of work which needs to be done, including as highest priority the replacing of two tires with dangerously thin tread. This was validated and new tires are on order. I wasn’t aware the tread was wearing down, so I’m thankful for this information!

I am writing this after over a month from replacing my Camry’s rack and pinion (steering rack) to ensure results. My car NOW steers like new, like it rolled out of the factory! They also fixed my car electrics which made everything much nicer including the cruise control. I am not surprised for my designated mechanic at Davenport has experience extending back since 1986! Mr. Dane, the owner himself, corresponded with me and explained what needed to be done throughly. Good guy and good place!

They gave me a quote for all the necessary repairs and suggested maintenance. The pricing was appropriate and within the budget I had set aside in my own mind. The repairs were done on time and budget. No surprises. After picking up the vehicle, I was still concerned about one particular issue and brought the car back after speaking with Randy on the phone with my issue. He took the time to hear me out and looked over the car again. I am confident that the repairs were done properly and due to my cars age and mileage, some parts are beginning to wear out but not necessarily needing to be replaced at this time. I can appreciate their frank and genuine review of my car. I wish all mechanics were like them. I strongly recommend anyone who has a Lexus to bring it to Davenport.

This was my first time using Davenport to service my older Lexus. Im extremely meticulous about maintenance and have always had the vehicle serviced by my local dealership (15+years). Needless to say, I was a little nervous at first. The gentlemen here exceeded my expectations. First, pricing was fair and a bit lower than the dealership. Second, the original issue I brought to them for a no start condition they were unable to duplicate. I was not charged labor to diagnose this, since I had other repairs done. Third, the technician took the time to come out to the parking lot with me, hook up his computer, and attempt to read the codes when the car wouldnt start. This is really over and above service not to mention i was again not charged for his time. I cant say enough about my experience, and believe me I am very particular about this car and who earns my trust. These folks have earned it and made me a customer. Thank you very much, and I will certainly return again.

Davenport Colleyville is the best mechanic shop Ive dealt with. Polite customer service, fair pricing and quality work. What more can you ask for? I needed a battery replaced, a brake job and state inspection done during the Covid19 quarantine, they picked up my car from my residence on time, wearing masks and gloves, I later paid over the phone and they pre-called to schedule the return. The vehicle had been cleaned inside and out. See my photo of the thank you note stating the interior had been sanitized. Ill be back for regularly maintenance and anything else.

I brought my car in to have the Check Engine light diagnosed, and Davenport discovered it was caused by a minor adjustment that was needed, without any repairs. I have been using Davenport for several years now, for maintenance on two different cars, and I’ve always been impressed with their expertise, their thoroughness and their integrity.

UPDATE: 8/24/2021 -- my go-to shop for repairs or regular maintenance on my 2015 Lexus RX350. Returned for an oil change after my 2021 experience detailed below. Still professional, reasonably-prices and trustworthy. Makes much more sense than taking the car to an over-priced Lexus dealership or to an independent garage that may not specialize in or have the necessary expertise to handle a Lexus with the care it deserves . . . . 8/2021 Found them from a direct mailing they sent, and researched their reviews, finding they had consistently high reviews. i found those high reviews to be justified, as they candidly recommended against services on my list on which my car had not reached the makers recommended mileage, while finding a vitally-needed service (alignment), which II had forgotten about, based on wear patterns on my relatively new tires. Overall, they are honest, highly skilled, punctual and give quality service at a very reasonable price

Davenport is awesome. I was having problems with the a/c in my 07 Lexus IS350 and dropped it off about 15 minutes before closing and my phone was ringing the next morning with a diagnosis which was easily and very inexpensively resolved. I was also notified the car needed one other relatively in expensive part and Randy placed the order to get the part back on the car.These folks are awesome and to top it all off, my car was washed and vacuumed ! Wow, awesome service !! For Lexus and Toyota service, they now have a new, loyal customer !Thanks Randy !

I took my 2005 Lexus in for an oil change, inspection and various cosmetic issues on the interior of the car. They promised a loaner but no loaner was available when I arrived at my appointment time. They quoted a $70-$80 price for the oil change and said it included an inspection, yet they charged me $173. They failed to pass the inspection claiming brake lights needed replacing and this would require replacement of the entire tail light assembly at a cost of $825. They lost a part that I gave them relating to the coin holder. I went to another service provider who replaced the brake light bulbs for $35 and stated that replacement of the entire brake light assembly was not required. The manager and his assistant misrepresented their services and prices and were unprofessional. This place is a rip off.

My first experience this week with Davenport (and Randy) was excellent. I was actually referred to Davenport from another auto repair shop that didnt handle what I needed. My car was ready earlier than promised and they quoted me a price, with labor included, over the phone prior to me bringing in the car . . . which stuck. Im hoping it isnt any time soon . . . but will use their services again. Highly recommend.

I was referred here and don’t think I’ll go anywhere else. Everyone wants a shop that will tell them both what they need and what they don’t need. Give them a shot if you are looking for honesty and transparency for getting your vehicle serviced.

I choose Davenport because the guys are very customer oriented, honest and only recommend what needs to be fixed not a bunch of extra stuff. Our sienna went in for a 60k svc. Recommended brake service as rotors were warped and pads 4mm needed replacement. They pick my vehicle up from work this am and dropped it back off around 4:45. Vehicle was washed and vacuumed.

This place is awesome, and Randy is wonderful! I never felt pressured and always felt like they were advising me on what was best for the car and for my family. They were honest, explained things clearly, and made me feel confident in my decisions. The best service for a Lexus you can receive anywhere

This shop is entirely overpriced. They are kind to your face but a 300% markup isn’t acceptable or kind. I was quoted 850+ to replace my MIRROR, was able to get it done for 225... I’ll let you make your own deductions here people. BEWARE!!!

Went in for an oil change and a multi-point inspection after purchasing a high mileage GX 470. The service was fast and friendly, and they were up front and honest about what they found and the necessary repairs. The oil change was also less expensive than what I expected going in. Will definitely return.

I recently purchased a new to me ES350 and brought it to Davenport for some repairs. Randy was extremely helpful and his estimate for repairs was half what the dealership wanted. Not only was their estimate more reasonable, upon inspection of my vehicle it turns out the repair wasnt necessary. I have since brought this vehicle back for a new battery & an alignment and they are so easy to deal with and so affordable. As an added bonus - they always return my car washed & pretty. They have a customer for life in me!
