Oil change and two tires for an excellent price and stellar work! Very pleased 😀

I brought my car in for an oil change to Walmart. I assumed an oil change was pretty simple and anywhere could handle it — boy was I wrong.I got my oil changed and drove the car off the lot. I realized when I got home that my car was leaking oil like sieve. I immediately drove back and they said that the oil filter they had installed was faulty. I said no problem and to go ahead with a fix.The next day I notice a ton of oil on my driveway and check my oil, which was now almost gone. I drove back and the guy says they don’t service Volvo’s to which I responded they should have told me that initially and that I needed to be made whole.They decided to check out underneath the car, came back in, and tried to tell me that the car leaking oil was my fault and that the car had been leaking for a while. I park outside — I notice when my car leaves oil on my driveway. This was a blatant lie. This is a very unprofessional operation — Use At Your Own Risk.Update: They drove out and picked up a replacement oil plug and replaced it for me. I respect that they did this for me. Changed score from1 star to 3.

After waiting for 10 to 15 minutes for somebody to man the death, the man was so rude and clearly did not want to work. I was there to have four tires put on a Chevy Cobalt, and he tried to tell me they were $200 each. He became very argumentative, and tried to tell me off in front of other customers.

Was missing two tire valve stem caps after installation of 4 new tires. Workers seem non interested and just want to go home. Very lazy. This auto barely has anything to offer, can’t even search for a car part! Ridiculous.

Always take a long time.

I went to Tire Kingdom the next day and they did my oil change for less money than Walmart AND said the issue with my car was IN MY WHEEL making a clunking noise (wheel bearing) and not my engine as Walmart kept repeating to me. I went in for a simple oil change and after waiting in a line of cars for 15 minutes they took my car from me to do just that. After about 20 minutes I got a call from them saying to come get my car because they will not work on cars that have any kind of repairs that need to be done. Wth??? So because I cannot afford to get my car fixed, I also cannot get an oil change?? On top of all this I had called the day before only to be put on hold for 17 minutes and when I finally decided to hang up and call back, they never answered the phone again. At that point I decided to go down there in person and was told that since it was after 4pm they arent letting anyone have any services done... it was 4:06. If they had answered the phone around 3 when I had been calling I could have been there in time. The guy telling me all this kept calling me mamma too. Worst place Ive ever been to for car needs.

Was expecting a 30 minute wait, like quoted. Barely got out of automotive section before was ready...I guess I just got lucky.

Disappointing that there was a 2 hour wait for tire rotation was told only 1 person doing tires today. A young man Matthew in automotive super helpful and personable only reason I gave a better score is because of him!!

Tires, hard to find a better deal in am emergency.

Told me an hour. Took over 3. Was first in line, but they worked on 3-4 cars before touching mine. Very unhappy...

I needed 2 new tires. Good price and fairly fast service. One issue I had was with their PA notification system. We (3 of us) did not hear then notify us the car was ready. The employees were friendly and helpful.

Had to have a battery replaced unexpectantly. Everyone was very attentive and efficient. I was only there for an hour as a walk in with no appointment. Also the price of a battery with a 3yr warranty was only $94 for my SUV.

Got quoted one price and then they used a more expensive battery instead and didnt ask first. Michael made it right and honored the quoted price because he knew I wasnt happy. Thanks Michael thats twice you have been nice to me when I came to the store for service on my vehicle. That goes a long way. Thank you. This is the Johns Lake Wal-Mart auto service.

Dropped my truck off to have my tires installed, called me after 2 hours to say they wouldnt install them because they are from 2014. If thats the case why didnt your check in person ask any questions about the tires being installed, or look at them herself and determine that? You wasted my morning because your staff is poorly trained and your policy is ridiculous, I wont be back.

I took my high mileage diesel truck in for an oil change and the attendant was trying to put a simple synthetic oil in it!

They do not change my car oil filter..on my oil change..I have to bring my car back..The first time I wasnt sure..then I try my other car and I spray paint the filter..and guess what? Sure enough..same filter on my other car as well...so they do not change your oil filter as far as I can tell.Very upset about it..make me waste my time like that on something so simple.But I must say the manager is very polite and he went back and personay make sure it was done right.

Don in the service center is always good help. It is busy, and he handles it. The management and other workers, not nearly as much. We were left waiting on a battery and never called when it was ready.

Called to see about getting a set of tires. I asked about making an appointment. I was told to come on in that they were not busy. I hung up the phone and drove straight there. When I got there the guy in the service bay said there are 7 cars getting service work (not oil changes) and it would be several hours. I told him that they had just said it wasnt busy. He said that he hated it when the people who answer the phone tell people that they are not busy when they are but that they do it all the time. I would have came in another time. They did not have to lie to get me to come in.

Waited over 3 hours for my oil change. So much miscommunication between staff members. Confusing process for customers and obviously the employees too. Only good thing is the price but I probably wont go back to this location. Never had this problem at other walmart auto centers.

This place is awful. Employees are rude and dont want to work. The first time I tried to get my free rotation for the tires I purchased at Walmart (1450 Johns Lake Road), I was told it would be a 2 hour wait. There was only one car in garage. I brought car back an hour later and was ignored for 20 minutes before someone asked what I needed. Then was told it would be 30 minutes. When I picked up car I was charged for rotation, which I had to advise was free with purchase of tires. DO NOT USE THIS AUTO CENTER.

Very fast inexpensive oil change they even vacuum to my car out.

A bit longer of a wait other than that can best the price almost 100$ difference then an autoshop for two tires and installation

Bought a new battery and was told because I didnt have the old one, they had to charge me $12 core charge. To bring in the old battery and show receipt and an associate would go out to car and bring it in for me. So of course when I go back next day, same person was not there. Instead some clueless person who said I had to carry it in.Freaking thing was dirty and heavy. Meanwhile other customers got ahead of me. They had purchased tires and they were ticked because they got charged $12 per tire (4) for balance/rotation and werent told. Ive had other bad experiences there, but husband seems to think because its cheaper its a better deal. Not me.

Went to get my oil changed first they said that they couldnt get the oil dipstick out so I got it out and then they said that the engine was knocking so they couldnt do the oil change

Was so disappointed there were 2 people working the counter. The gentleman who was working was helping a customer the young woman working asked me what I needed and I told her I wanted to purchase 4 new tires an oil change and a alignment she said ok and walked away we watched as she went down to the other end of the counter got on her phone, walk around 17 minutes had passed by the other worker was already with another customer helping them yet she still had not come back over to us. Finally 21 minutes of standing there I asked the other worker if we were going to be helped he asked her if she was going to help us? Her exact words were Oh you want me to help them? She walked over and asked us what was it you wanted. We proceeded to the customer service area and spoke with a woman who said she would take care of it. We just left. My time is very limited because my schedule is so busy so when I take a day off to get everything done that I need I expect to get it done. It will definitely make me think twice about going there when I need anything done to my car.

Extremely lazy crew. They dont seem to care if your car battery is dead and you need help. I bought a battery from them to have installedbut they couldnt because they said they were too busy so I said ok but I asked them for a jump start to go home they did not care. I also bought the battery online to pick it up that they made it seem like to worst idea ever.

They changed the oil here and i asked them to check the tire pressure because my low tire light was on. They are supouse to check it anyways as part of there package. I got the top package with full synthetic oil and some cleaning added on of the injectors. Well when they finished which took a while. The light for low tires was still on and the paper said pressure was 34 on all tires. I took it to a gas station and it said the pressure was 28 and 30 for 2 and 33 and 31 for the others as soon as i filled it to the recommended 35 the light went off. Not a huge deal but it bothers me because i specifically asked them to check it and they said they did bit obviously didnt.. makes me doubt if all the marked services where done... now a month later still no light on for low tires...

Getting set up for new tires was easy part the service after was not great all 4 tires had different pressure and someone had changed my information setting on my car and my seat was set up as far as it would go up and forward new tires were not wiped with shine after all they were brand new get better service at discount tires.

Visited for new tires. My vehicle was immediately checked in by the extremely professional staff. I will be coming back for sure.

The lady that checks in the cars is EXTREMELY RUDE! Most of the people here are also very rude like they just don’t want to be here . The lady does not ever smile and always seems to be in a rush , I asked her a question and she ignored me and talked about something else . This is the second time I have been here and she is always the same way . I’m not coming back at all .

They dont have enough employees I went for tire they told me 4.5 hours! I went to another one it was only 1 hour done so Ill never go to that tire center ever again and probably not the only one.

First, Id like to say.. if a shop is busy, Walmart or not... It will take you longer to receive service on your car. Common sense, which these One Star Raters seem to lack. My work was finished within 45 min with another car in the line in front of me. Sorry, these 1 star reviews seem to be from entitled, unknowledgeable people... an oil change takes 20-30 min.. tire work takes longer (especially on larger vehicles) because they MUST ensure the safety of their work. Why would you rush that? On top of that this is the CHEAPEST PLACE in Clermont to buy new tires/get an oil change/maintenence in general...why wouldnt it be busy lol.. I hope your wallets notice the next time you visit a mechanic. Second, its bascially a little over half price for the same work or the same price youd pay to do the work on your own. In my experiences here, the service has NEVER fallen short. The service crew did a great job with my vehicle and even took the extra time to make sure my maintenance light would be turned off. My family all together has 5 vehicles..all of which are serviced here. No issues. No complaints. No bull.Thank you guys, you were awesome.

Been going here for over 10 yrs. Things have changed. Bad attitude on most new employees. Specially Hispanic. Too bad.

We stayed in line for 15 minutes while the Walmart attendant talked to one person with a problem who finally left without service. Management should never allow an employee to do this. Only this one employee appeared to be working. We finally gave up and left. Horrible management problem!!

Went there for a battery check. Waited 2 1/2 hours. They replaced the battery without checking the old battery. When I inquired was told by mechanic he did not have the diagnostic tools necessary to check the battery or the charging system. So they just replace the battery.

Horrible/NO customer service!! They dont have to Care about any one person! told us 2 hours bc 3 people ahead of us, so we start grocery shopping. 1 hour 45 min later they say bout 2 hours..3 people ahead of you!?* manager did not Care AT ALL. Denied ever saying a time,offered no concession. Told us to wait
