DO NOT BUY A COVER FROM THIS BUSINESS. I should have listened to the other reviews. It has been a year since I ordered my hot tub cover. They were responding by email. And would say due to Covid they had delays. Would say a 1 month it would be delivered. That month would come and go. I would email them, they would apologize and give me another date. After 6 months of promised it would be shipped I told them to cancel and return my money. They told me it takes 2.5 weeks and they would send money by check and not refund my credit card. It’s been 3 weeks and now not responding to my emails. I should be able to dispute with my credit card, especially with all the proof I have. That’s my next step. I will also report them to the BBB. My order is 112602. I’m not sure if they are a scam or just a horrible business. But buy somewhere else. Horrible place

I just received my spa cover-it fits great. I ordered-with the expedited fee-on 9/2, and picked it up at the shipping terminal in Fort Wayne on 10/27. The cover looks good, is the right color and arrived undamaged. The worst part, was all these other reviews making me doubt my purchase. It did take a little longer than the website initially said, but I got it in 8 weeks.

As the other reviewers said, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered a spa cover March, 2021. They emailed me and told me I bought the wrong cover and I needed to upgrade, so I did. Its now November, 2021.. no spa cover. Im not sure how this company is still open, its a scam. The customer service is absolute garbage all they do is lie. I was told in August that I would receive my cover by October at the absolute latest. Just spoke with Nancy and she said the dates are just estimates and we can now expect it in December... Im not counting on it.

I placed an order in Sept 2021. I never received a formal shipment information and reached out to the sales department. They had quoted a 20-24 week lead time. This was disappointing but I understood that this may be slowed due to COVID. I reached out today, Oct 20th 2021, almost 2 months later. They said that the order would be ready July 2022. However for and additional $80 (on top of the $400+ already paid) they would expedite my order. It is clear that they have the capacity to meet the order in the timeframe but are unwilling to do so to try to charge you additional money.Why is it acceptable for companies to fail to meet their commitments? I hope that consumers will pull together and say this is unacceptable. I will continue to relay this message and report to every governing body to prevent these poor business habits from propagating.Please learn from others!

I ordered my spa cover on January 7, 2021 and, per their website, expected my order in 8-12 weeks. Imagine my shock when I called to make a change and was told it would be 16-20 weeks. Well here I am 9 months later and still NO COVER. Every time I called or emailed, I was told that my cover would be ready “in two weeks” or “early next month”. I finally went to cancel my order and since it’s been so long they can’t send the funds back to my card and I have to wait on them to send me a check. I requested it two weeks ago and still have heard nothing. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM

Purchased a Spa cover on affordablespacovers.com on 19 January 2021, Order # 112068 for $370 with understanding that it would be 16 weeks to complete. On 26 May 2021, I received notification it was In Production. Starting 21 June I began monthly checkins with them, each time to be told it would be ready in a month. Early September I was told it would be by the end of Sept. On 29 Sept I was told it would now be mid November. I asked if there was any guarantee they could complete by the end of the year and they told me No. I requested a cancellation and full refund on 29 September and they confirmed via email that the order was canceled and refund check would take 2.5 weeks. On Oct 21 (which is after I was supposed to receive the refund check), I received an email asking if I was still interested in a cover by the end of November. I told them No. So on 21 Oct they said we will release your check next week. On 29 Oct, I was told we will release your check this weekend. On 3 Nov, I was told your check will be released by next week. I dont think they are going to refund me. All this info is in emails. Joanna and Nancy were the names uses and same when I have called them. This business seems like a scam and come to find out, lots of BBB complaints and horrible reviews.

Seems like the way they make money is on cancellation fees.. ordered a hot tub cover in early September thinking I would get it in a couples months because I needed it before winter. Called them to find out their lead times are 6 months.. thought that would be helpful information before ordering. But they chose to hide that from me. Told I wanted to cancel because I could wait that long and was informed I had a cancellation fee of $150 for something they haven’t even started on.. joke of a company

We ordered our cover on 7/20/21 the website said 8-10 weeks so after 10 weeks I called and they told me that my cover wont be ready till April or even June of 2022. They also told me that I should of called to get a more exact delivery date. Im sorry but from 8-10 to 46-50 weeks is insane for them not to of mentioned it. Then when I told them that I guess I would cancel they were unapologetic.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE. I purchased my jacuzzi cover from affordable spa cavers on 9/13/2021. I paid for expedited production a $50 fee. I called in October 1st since I had not heard anything back from the manufacturer. I was told that they are backed up and my my cover was not scheduled to be produced for another. 10-12 weeks. I explained that that I paid for expedited production and the web site stated that expedited production stated it would be 2-3 weeks not 13-15 weeks like they are telling me. The sales rep said if I didn’t like it just put in a request to cancel my order. I put in a cancellation request and they charged me a $150 cancellation fee and said that’s there policy. This is how this company makes money. They can’t produce what they promise but charge you a cancellation fee. I will be filling a complaint with the BBB.

Buyer be warned! Come on Google.. make 0 or .5 stars and option! This place is a joke. It took 3+ months on top of their original lead time to produce this product. I paid extra for the snow bearing weight option for the extra sturdiness. After less than 6 months of use (2-3 rains and maybe one snow storm, other than that it sits in pristine weather conditions) it developed a very obvious concave shape in the top. Now water just sits on top and eventually will start leaking/breaking down further. After contacting them a few times they finally responded with we dont cover the foam under our warranty. I guess when a company doesnt cover something that makes up 90% of its product it should have been more obvious to me to not to go with them. Im not sure how I missed their >1.4 star reviews (Id imagine 0.5 if 0 stars was an option). Take your business elsewhere!

Well hurry up and wait! I placed an order on January 1, 2021. The cover arrived July 28, 2021. But hey! They shipped it via 2 day freight.It takes 7 months to make a spa cover?It sure would be nice if they posted a notice on their website stating the current lead time in production. They had no problem accepting my payment on Jan 1 but never told me it would take 7 months. The company never reached out to me to let me know that there was a production delay. I called the first week in July and was told that my cover was going into production that week. I was also told that they had just completed the December 2020 orders.Its gonna be a while if you order something from these folks.

I ordered my cover in February of 2021 I still have not received my cover. It is now September 14, 2021 seven months later. Each time I ask about it they seem to put the date farther and farther out. Now they say it wont be until October. I told them to just send my money back, which they havent sent as of yet. I wonder if this is really a legitimate business.

Ordered cover in Feb. 2021. Site read 6-8 week turnaround time. When that came and passed they tespondedxit would be another 3 months. That passed..they pushed it back to 3rd week of Oct. That date approaching they responded to my email checking on status that it would be 3rd week of Dec.They are not showing any evidence that theybare actually trying to fill the order. I cancelled and will be seeking a replacement from a reliable company.

I ordered my cover in May 2021, it did not arrive until September 23rd after numerous queries as to the status. I still have my order which requested an 84 by 84. I received a 108 by 108 cover. After waiting 4 months to get the product, I am not dealing with waiting another 6 months for a return. Get your hot tub cover elsewhere.

I ordered my tub cover on 2/7/2021.... It is now 9/21/2021 and still no cover. They continue to tell me it is going to take another couple weeks. According to their online portal my cover has been in production for about 20 weeks. So Im not sure what is taking so long but this company is a joke. Stay clear of them. They have zero desire to actually produce any product and ship it. Im so disappointed, I overpaid for something and never got it and all I get is the run around. There are better places to purchase spa covers from as I have learned. Do yourself a favor and find another company.

I am extremely dissatisfied with this company. I ordered a hot tub cover back in MAY. It is almost October and I have had NO communication with this company. I finally got an email back about an era and they said THE LAST WEEK OF JANUARY. If you don’t have the staff or supplies for orders, you shouldn’t accept orders. I want my money back. I purchased a cover elsewhere with a 4 day wait because I have a hot tub with no cover. Worst customer service experience of my life.

Ordered in January 2021.....every month I send an email asking about the 6-8 weeks delivery. WELL, every reply is another 6-8 weeks. I didnt know the 6-8 weeks was a neverending circle. I highly doubt I will see this cover in 2021. DONT fall for the same mistake I did. Stay away from this company.

We would never order anything from this company again. We placed our order in May, the site said 8-10 weeks for delivery. After 4 weeks we contacted their office and were told it would be 18-20 weeks. We did not find this acceptable and cancelled the order which had to be done via email but were told we would be charged a $75 cancellation fee. This, also, was not acceptable as they had broken their contract by not being able to delivery in their own specified timeframe. We disputed the charge with our credit card company. Affordable Spa Covers replied to them by saying we had cancelled the order after already receiving the cover which was a lie and then said we owed a $150 cancellation fee. Because this is stated on their website our CC company was not able to reverse the fee. Like other reviews, it appears that this is how they make most of their money, by scamming people.

Every time I call them Im told a different date for my hot tub cover. They just told me January 2022 for my order! They are apparently a fraudulent company. 10 months!!! It took 10 months to get my hot tub cover.......if I was rating just the cover I would give it 5 stars, it is beautiful and fits perfect, the customer service how ever was horrible, I was lied to over and over about when my cover would be completed, finally found out they lost my ticket and had to contact production. I ordered my cover nov 2020 and received it Sept 2021 if my ticket hadnt been lost it still would have taken 7 months which it ridiculous especially since their website still says 6-8 weeks....

INSANITY. If zero stars were an option, Id choose that. Placed an order in January, wont be coming out til the end of September. Theres no indication on their site whatsoever that youll be waiting SEVERAL MONTHS--my recent update states that my cover has been in production since May. It takes FOUR MONTHS to make a cover? If they were just honest about expected wait times, it would have given me the option to go elsewhere. Worst company ever and I wish I never ordered from here.

Horrible!!!!!Ordered my hot tub cover 6/20/21 and did not receive anything other than order confirmation email. On 7/12 my wife called and they said we would not receive our cover till October or November. We told them we wanted to cancel order as we need the cover sooner. We were then informed we would be charged $150 to cancel. Do not waste your time dealing with this company! Go elsewhere. They will bill your card immediately and then take months to deliver what you ordered? Customer service representative is useless to talk to. She just keeps repeating the same line over and over. Which mounts to we have your money so you are screwed. Again, horrible way to do business and they do not deserve the 1 star I gave them. I should have taken the bad reviews seriously!!!

Terrible experience all the way around. First, the shipment arrived 6 weeks after it was promised. Most importantly, the spa cover started showing signs that the vinyl was peeling after only six months. At the nine month mark, the peeling was so bad that I tried to get it covered under warranty. At first, the company implied that we must have used some harsh cleansers to cause the peeling. I told them we only sprayed the cover off with water and never used any cleansers. They asked for pictures which I sent (included). They refused to honor the warranty and wrote, The warranty department is rejecting your claim since rips or scratches are not cover under our warranty. These are not rips or scratches. This is spontaneous peeling. They have a poor product and they do not stand by their warranty. Check the Better Business Bureau for their company. Horrible. I wish I would have checked before purchasing. This company will go out of business because of their poor product and customer service. Dont make the same mistake I did. Find a quality company and pay a few dollars more for a good product.

*UPDATE: I emailed them today 9/14 to check on the status and I got an email saying it will be ready to ship 3rd week in October. If that’s even true. So they pushed the shipping date another month. It’s already been 8 months since it was ordered, customer service is terrible.I ordered a spa cover on 1/21/21 and today is 8/10/21 and I still haven’t received my cover and was told I would receive it by 8/11/21 after being told middle of July. I email them and now say that I will receive the cover between 8/27/21 and 9/16/21. If that’s even true. I am frustrated. I tried to cancel it and they won’t give a full refund of the product. Would not recommend ordering from this company.

Decided to cut my losses and ask for a refund. Now I have to wait 2 weeks for them to cut a check and mail it... Well see if i ever get my check.I get we live in a a weird time with the pandemic, but 9 months.... no offers to discount, no offer to make it better in any way, just kept promising to ship out the cover within 2 week. 2 weeks would go by and I would call them back and they would add another 2 weeks. This happen multiple times. I should have learned my lesson and canceled sooner...Buy at a local shop. This is the absolute worst online purchase I have made. Ordered my cover the 14 of February and as of the 23rd of august I still hav not received it. Every email I have sent them they push back my arrival date. Just got off the phone with a lady there and now she is pushing it back to September! Horrible experience with this company. I placed my order and waited 2 weeks before I emailed them asking when I would receive my cover. I was told that it would be more than 5 months. Obviously I told them that I could not wait 5 months for a spa cover and asked for a refund. I was then told that the would keep $150 from the refund as I did not ask for it within 24 hours from the time I ordered. Clearly this company is scamming people into making orders for products that they do not intend to fill and collecting money from the cancellations. I will write a claim with all appropriate agencies but please do not make the same mistake I did and place an order with this company.

Affordable Spa Covers Inc is a SCAM!!! Steer clear of them. Do not waste your money ordering from them. After I ordered a $300 cover, they never sent confirmation. I called to confirm my order and they said I would need to pay an extra $80 for outdoor spa material. Lead time was estimated at 17-20 weeks...at least. OR I could pay an extra $80 for expedited shipping for 7-10 weeks. I asked to cancel my order and they said it would cost $150. Their customer service manager Melissa is rude and doesnt budge on waiving the $150 cancellation fee, even if they never confirmed my order. I feel duped.

PATHETICALLY INCOMPETANT AND SEEMINGLY CORRUPT SCAMMING COMPANY. Ordered 07/01/21. Called them after 6 weeks to get an update, because I Never got any follow-up or order updates. The rep said they were backlogged and that it was taking 3-4 months to produce and ship. Gave the excuse of supplies in short supply. Must be hard to come by Vinyl Fabric and Styrofoam. File a complaint with the Attorney General and BBB in Florida and the state you reside in. This company is criminal and needs to be held accountable for their deceptive business practices. Stay FAR away from this place. First thing they do is charge your credit card and then screw you. Took order in July. Tried calling and leaving messages but no return call. Finally got a woman on the line who indicated 7 months for lead time. When I informed her that this was no where on their site, she said that if I wanted to pay more for the cover they could push the time up. This place is criminal and should be investigated by AG’s office.

Ordered cover on 21 April 2021. After making enquires on my order the delivery time kept pushing further and further back. I was told on 9 August it was in production. On 2 September I was told it wouldnt be delivered until December. Just Dont! I ordered my cover on October 4, 2020. The quoted delivery was 6 weeks. 5+ months later my cover was delivered! Frequent calls and emails to Affordable Spa went unanswered. My email confirmation with a link to check the status of my order led to a login page. But if you dont have an account, you cannot check the status. Some of this is on me, Im typically over the top about checking reviews. I did not do my due diligence here as the Google reviews would have altered my purchase decision. How this company can remain viable with this customer service is a mystery...

This company is an absolutely unprofessional, unreliable, and dishonest operation. They dont update their website to specify their outrageously long wait times, and they still offer the option to pay extra for expedited production. So obviously they have the ability to produce them more quickly, at least if you pay more. I was told 8-10 weeks when I ordered, and currently we are at 20 weeks and counting.. Terrible company! They are basically running a fraud scam. You set up your order expecting that it might take a month or so to receive. NOPE! 5-6 months was FINALLY quoted to me about a month later. I disputed the credit card charge because NOONE responded when I emailed to say I wanted to cancel the order. They rebilled my credit card for their $150 charge. My order being placed on 10-15-20 with no notice of long lead times to receive order. I sent an email 11-9-20 to get a status update on order. I was told your company was running about 14 weeks right now for an order to be shipped. That would’ve put my order shipping the week of 1-21-21. See below for snap shot of above said email on 11-9-20.On 1-18-21 I emailed asking for status update. On 1-21-21 I received notice that my order would ship about the third week of march. That would put my order being an additional 8-9 weeks plus the original 14weeks. So a total of 22-23 weeks from date ordered.I called and spoke with a lady about this. She said that was the case. I told her I would like to cancel my order. She never mentioned of a cancellation fee. She told me to request the cancellation in writing via email. I did as she requested on 1-22-21.On 1-22-21 I received notice my order was cancelled. There was terms and conditions that stated a cancellation fee. On 1-25-21 I received confirmation of my refund minus the $150 cancellation fee. I’m requesting the $150 fee to refunded immediately. I was never told that #1 it would be 14 weeks to ship until I had to email and ask for update. I was patient and waited the 14 weeks. I then had to email for an update and was told another 8-9 weeks before shipping. I feel I was mislead from the beginning of never being told this long of ship date. I feel held up my end of the deal by being patient even after waiting 14 weeks. I’m asking this to be resolved with the cancellation fee refunded.This is basically my story. BBB is now involved. i also will be visiting this business when i can in the coming months as I will be in Florida. Do not trust them, you will not be happy with any of their company.

If I could give them a zero I would. It took 6 months to finally recieve our cover. We have had several different brands of covers over the years. This is by far the cheapest. I will be surprised if it lasts 2 years. It arrived with a small hole on the inside middle hinge side. There was no damage to the box, this came from the manufacturer not the shipping company. When I contacted affordable spa covers they blamed it on the shippers and would do nothing. I will never buy from them again. They want you to cancel the order and take a partial refund. I waited them out to get the cover and not loose a pile of cash. Terrible company. STAY AWAY!!!

You see all of the one-star reviews? Believe them. Every one of them. I should have done more research about the company before placing my order for a hot tub cover because my experience was exactly like the others.Their website promises an 8-10 week window from the time of order until the time of delivery to your house. Once placing your order, they will immediately charge your credit card and then you will hear nothing for weeks. Your order status on their website will show pending. When you call for an update, the phone will ring once before someone answers with a brisk please hold and then they will never again pick up the phone to speak to you. When you send emails asking for an status update, then and only then will they tell you that your order will actually take more along the lines of 4 months (but for a mere 80 bucks, well, then they can get your order expedited to what they originally promised). When you attempt to cancel the order and cite their original promise of 8-10 weeks, they will insist upon charging you $150 because they have already immediately begun producing your order which is laughable since in the same breath they say that they are months behind their production schedule.I finally cut my losses and accepted a reduced refund because I seriously think they will be bankrupt imminently and once that happens, nobody will get their money back. They are a textbook example of shady business practices to make a quick buck with zero ethical business considerations. Seriously, save yourself some heartburn and just get your hot tub cover somewhere else instead.

Dont buy here. 4 months later, no cover. Did a chargeback with the card company, then they finally refunded. Rather than dealing with the disputed charge (which we would have let the card company reverse, given that they refunded), They sent an email threatening collection action for the double refund. Not kindly address this matter, but we will take collection action. Non-existent product, zero customer service, and aggressive stance. Dont do it!

Ordered a cover. When it hadnt arrived in a few weeks I emailed them and was told 20 weeks. I canceled and was then charged $150 fee. It also took them over a week to give the $195 back to my account. It was taken out right when I ordered it - most companies wait until the item is ready to be shipped. Terrible experience. I have filed a complaint with the BBB but it seems this scam of a company has been getting away with these tactics.

Youre encouraged to order online, and the website says typical turnaround time is 8 to 10 weeks. So when I called 6 weeks after payment is processed, Im told the order placed in May would not be ready until October. Of course, for an extra charge I can have it expedited for delivery mid-August, but if I cancel, there will be a $150 charge. Also, trying to get through to Customer Svc is nearly impossible. After several tries over the last week, got through today and was immediately placed on hold. After 23 mins holding, the rep finally came back to the call. To date, I had sent two messages through their website with no reply ... even though the confirmation says the someone will reply within a day. I do not recommend this company and will never order from them again.

We ordered in November 2020 and finally received the cover on Tuesday 2, June. E-mails were normally responded to in 3-5 days. Delivery date was continually pushed back and delays were attributed to covid 19 complications. Not sure how much of that to believe but it seems to be the norm nowadays. Do not buy from this company. The 6-8 week period “estimation” time is a joke. I ordered my cover the beginning of November. I called at the 8 week mark just to be told it will be much longer. Then I called back after waiting patiently just to be told an even further date away from the last update. I still haven’t received my top and even if I do receive it at the time they just updated me on (which I don’t expect to by this point) it will be over 6 months from the time I ordered and payed in full. Also when I tried to cancel they told me there will be a 150 cancellation fee. Are you kidding me, like you just started on it but it’s still going to take 4 more months? This is the first review I have ever wrote but I just want to give you some insight as to what you will be putting yourself through. Save yourself the time, stress and money.

I wasnt thrilled about delivery taking up to 8 weeks, but I understand that custom work takes time. However, when I contacted the company for an update on the status almost 8 weeks after placing the order, I was informed for the first time that the delivery would be more like 20 weeks from the order date. Given that unacceptable news, I requested a full refund -- which I thought was a reasonable request since no work had been started and no costs had been incurred by the company. I was informed that there were no exceptions to their policy regarding refunds. I suppose I should be relieved that I got a partial refund. Based on the BBB reviews Ive found, Im not the only one getting this treatment. Bottom line: stay away from this company unless you are willing to wait 20+ weeks for a spa cover.

I wish you could give negative stars. Ordered a hot tub cover at the end of October. Only after paying was it revealed that it would be 10-12 weeks to be delivered. Then after that time frame. I am now told it will be end of March. Plus they will not cancel order unless paying a fee, which is roughly half the cost of the cover. Please, do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this company as possible.

**WARNING** This is a shady/scam company! Went online on a Saturday and placed an order for a spa cover. Called on Monday to get a timeline, was told it would be 20-24 weeks! I clarified that it would be 4-5 MONTHS. I asked to cancel my order and was told I would get a confirmation cancellation email. By Weds, I still hadnt received an email, they asked me to send them an email to cancel. I sent an email the same day, two weeks later I received a confirmation email and was told I was being charged $150 cancellation fee because the order wasnt cancelled with 24 hours. A month and a half later, I still hadnt received any credit. Have now had to spend weeks disputing the charge with my credit card company and going through the process. Ordered another cover through The Spa Guy, was a little more than the cost of the original one BUT have excellent communication with them with updates as to when my order is coming. **DONT GET SCAMMED, order from someone else.**

It took 6 MONTH for the spa cover to arrive, and when it did - it was made for use indoors ??? It was also missing the lifter screws - as requested, when I asked to have the correct product sent Affordable Spa Covers, Inc. said there was nothing they could do. No discount, no reimbursement, nothing. Very hard to get in touch with customer service, left voicemails and received emails back. Seems like a good deal, save yourself the hassle - do NOT order from this company.

Others complained about the delivery company, I had no issues what so ever with them, they were great. Over all the cover looks great. Wish I could give a zero! State typical delivery time upon order, then put something different in fine print after payment, guaranteed refund for expedited production fee and then refused to give it even when item was two weeks later than date given, customer service says something different each time I called. They use Southeastern Freight for deliveries. I waited my entire 5 hour appointment time for delivery just to find out it was bumped and wouldn’t be arriving. Affordable Spa refused to do anything about it.

Read the google reviews not their site reviews! They only allow nice reviews on that one. They promised us 4 different times that it was going to ship. First it was going to ship in October and then they were behind so it would ship end of November. Called them in December and they said it would be mid December. Then got an email saying end of December. Finally in January my husband called them and they admitted it would probably be mid to end of January. The cover is flimsy, and I got the upgraded one. They stress that someone needs to be there to sign for the deliver and that the delivery company would call and schedule a time. All I got was a call at 11:30 AM saying they were there and leaving it on my doorstep. Their delivery company is just as bad as they are! The box was wrecked! Save yourself the issues and use a different company!

I ordered a spa cover and when I was informed that it would be up to 16 weeks to be delivered, I immediately responded to the email telling me this and informing the company to cancel the order. 16 weeks takes our weather in OH out to Spring effectively missing spa weather. I was informed the next day that a $125 (33%) cancellation charge if I cancel. This may as well be extortion. I submitted my cancellation note 11 days after ordering...trust me a cover that wont be arriving to my home for the next 4 months isnt in production at day 11! Currently disputing purchase through visa. They failed to meet their own promised delivery date by months but won’t refund my money despite being unwilling to deliver the product I paid for. CAVEAT EMPORIUM. No stars at all but the review would not post unless I gave at least one. They sent the wrong cover last July (too large). I have spent hours and hours of time photographing the cover and communicating with someone who insists she is the supervisor (I have doubts). Each time I send photographs, they reject the photos and say to send something different. Photos were sent in August, twice in September, again in November and again in December. Finally, I hired someone to stand on an eight foot ladder to take the last photos to ensure everything they demanded was included. Those photos were also rejected. The cover is not only the wrong size, they charged me extra for expedited shipping which meant months before it arrived. Then they charged extra for the cover lifter, without informing me they only build covers for a single type of cover lifter and mine is not that single kind. They have not honored anything they stated on the phone. I will never recommended this company to anyone and plan to write the Florida attorney general about their unethical business practices.

Heed the warnings of others. 10 weeks after ordering and waiting patiently (with no communication other than a credit card charge) I inquired in the status of my order, only to be told it would take another 8-10 weeks. No alert on delay at the time of order or offer of refund/cancellation due to extreme delay. Good communication could have avoided this problem. I ordered my spa cover on April 30th 2021 paid extra money for expedited shipping 10 to 14 days it says on the website I called them to see what was going on they told me another 4 to 6 weeks and she said that it says right next to the expedited shipping to call if you have any questions I told them they should probably stop lying to their consumers I could have had it built in my hometown for an extra $100 and already had it. I understand longer running times because of bidens covid-19. But not telling you actually lead times is a little bit ridiculous buyer beware.

Not using them again. The first cover I bought from them took months to arrive and was a couple of inches too big on each side but otherwise fine and lasted about six years. For some reason I ordered a second. This time it took 3 1/2 months. It fits well and looks fine but was damaged slightly in transit and their policy is to reject it and send it back or file a claim with the shipping company. It was packaged in thin cardboard, nothing else. When I reported this they responded Once we send you tracking, we do send you the delivery instructions that states that if you see any damages on the cover, you have to reject it. Im happy to pay more to not have to wait so long and be reasonably certain it will arrive intact. They are cheap, as advertised, but not that much cheaper and the product is substandard.

However the coverguy 1st should have helped me with my problem. 2nd the coverguy should ship their products in a more secure package. I would rate zero stars if an option. I ordered on 11/8, and NOTHING in my order or order confirmation talked about dramatic delays. On 11/14 i received an automated message soliciting an upgrade, which i did. I have received no communication since then. I have called and left messages, called and been placed on hold for long periods, and sent emails. I only today (1/5) finally reached a person who has updated my expectations to around 3/16. I highly suggest you stay away from this company, they dont tell you that it will take many many months for your order to come until after you place the order then they disclose that.. and oh well now we will charge you 20 percent to cancel it. Anyone can create a company online for a product then become very very profitable ripping off the elderly by keeping 20 percent of the monies because they cant perform. Theft by design. my poor 80 year old mom on a fixed income and they cant even reimburse her.
