We love this book store. It is a little pricey though and sometimes areas are not as organized as my standards go. I went there to by some level 3 childrens books and because of how messy they were and not in order I ended up just purchasing them all on Amazon. The reason I am still giving 5 stars is because I noticed they were changing a lot around the store and this could be why. If they are still a mess next time I stop by I would lower my rating but I am giving them grace just in case this is the case... unfortunately they missed out on me spending $100 because of the disorganization. I sat on the floor and started mowing through the books but I became frustrated with how messy they were and just put what I had found back. To end on a posative note there are a ton of cool items and games to check out!

Needed a book on The History of Fort Campbell by John OBrien. We love history because we come from Military Families. My husband has good childhood memories in Fort Campbell. We met the author of the book that shed light on where things were located back in the 1950s. It was wonderful going back in memory lane. Boiks- A - Million had 2 copies left. Interesting book.

This store is a jumbled mess. They have a huge inventory which is poorly organized. Alphabetizing by author names is important for your customers!!!! I have asked for assistance and your employees are very helpful. However, they are also unable to find books. Expect to find , for example, the S’s with the A’s, the P’s with the D’s, and books just shelved in any old way. It is a mess!!!!!!! It is difficult to determine how books are arranged. Is is horizontal across all sections of shelving or is it vertical top to bottom for each shelf unit? Please, please, please get this place organized!

Absolutely love this store. Tons of great books, awesome choice of puzzles and their manga selection is incredible. Prices are decent too.

We actually used Books-A-Million for our meeting. It was as nice as usual. They didnt mind us pushing the tables together, etc. I got one of their Sweet Sensations, the one with rose in it, to drink and it was pretty awesome! So yes.... definitely go, relax, and have something to drink.

Absolutely the best books a million Ive been too only con I found was everything is a little scattered and kind of hard to find, but it will definitely be there!

Just spent the last several minutes of my life standing at the front counter waiting to be checked out as no one found it important to work the registers this evening. I eventually left my fiancé at the front counter to find some assistance and when I tried to approach a young woman, she decided to turn and walk away…This same girl finally arrives at the front counter and proceeds to slam down the pop vinyl I was purchasing which if anyone reading this collects anything, could damage it, thusly affecting the value to who I was purchasing it for.This skinny little girl proceeds to cop an attitude and wanted to scan the magazine my fiancé was looking at despite us not being interested in its purchase.This girl was wearing what appeared to be a handmade tag so unsure if that means she’s a newer hire or what but if she’s a tenured employee then I think I know how she got/kept the employment opportunity. Otherwise if this is a new hire, I would promptly send her back to the place from whence she came despite the worker shortage.Shame this is the only bookstore in town as I hate that I don’t have options in which to spend my hard earned money since children like her don’t seem to be appreciative of the customers that enable them to make their wages.

Awesome selection of books and magazines as well as fan gifts of popular TV shows and movies!

Friendly staff. Helpful with questions. Shelves looked better organized than previous trips. I like the merchandising of current trending fandoms and current events. Its a shame the company as a whole stopped the buy back-even if it was store credit thatd be nice.

The staff were patient and helpful when I needed their help. My 4 yr old grandson was a handful and they offered to help me without my asking first. That was awesome!!

This is the single most poorly/oddly organized BAM that Ive ever been in and I have no idea why. It isnt like they dont have space. Theres no logic to how the sections are grouped. Also, for example, the fiction section starts on one row and wraps around the other side. Fine, thats normal. But they ran out of room, so it continues on the back side of a row perpendicular to it, but theres a different genre on the front side of that row, so you dont really know where the next part of it starts. Once you figure that out, you find they ran out room there and the alphabetical order picks back up again on the bottom shelf of the original row. Theres like four young adult sections scattered throughout the building and more than one young reader section intermingled with everything else. I dont know, this place is a confusing mess.

The people who work there are very helpful and were willing to get my friend a basket when she needed help. They have a coffee shop inside and have a wide variety of books to read. They even have things that are not books such as movie and TV show merchandise.

Came in with no intention of buying anything for myself but found the book Fire and Blood and had to get it. Always a pleasant experience here though.

It was my first time visiting this BAM since my move to Clarksville. I had order a few books online for store pick up. When I arrived and went to the online pick up area the girl that was there didn’t greet me or acknowledge me. Once I gave her my name since she just stared at me. She just sat my books on the corner without saying anything at all. It just made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome in the store. I never had this type of experience in a BAM before usually everyone is so friendly and welcoming

A personal favorite for my daughter and I both! The sections covering normal people is definitely great with a huge selection of fiction, nonfiction, and reference titles. ( The Snoop Dog cook book with Martha Stewart is fantastic!) The geek section is what always grabs the attention of the monsters and I. They also donate time, money and resources to helping the local community. Now if we just had more time to actually read more...

Absolutely love this place. So many book choices. I was looking for a couple of books, in particular, and they looked them up for me and confirmed they are available. Then told me I could order them on their website. The staff is so nice.

Poor selection for paranormal books and when u asked employees help to find book he asked to explain Subject and then he asked me to consider a Bible verse against book i was buying and began a discussion about subject

Ive always like going into these stores, but throughout time, the store has switched stuff around constantly. One of the main reasons why I go is because of the Funko Pops. But...not only do they keep on getting moved around, you also have various ones located throughout the store. Although some may think its fun, like Easter egg hunting, its a inconvenience and just kind of annoying.

One of our go to places for collectibles! My husband was excited to find Godzilla books and comics. I found all things Disney and horror. Their funko selection is huge! I almost left with a set of Lilo and Stitch coffee mugs 😅 #mighthavetogoback

One of the few book stores that are still around, they have lots of books and reasonable prices, if you like books this is a place to go.

I love books so just about any place that I can find a book is where I want to be. As more and more book stores close down Im always happy to find one open, especially in as small a town as Clarksville. This place is very clean and the staff is very helpful, but dont be surprised if you cant find what youre looking for. I highly recommend talking to the staff if you cant find a specific book and theyll order it for you lickety-split. Definitely worth checking out as they also have plushies, book marks, Wiccan paraphernalia, and so much more!

I like to be able to physically visit a real bookstore. I dont know if it is just this location, or if this is endemic to all BAMs, but this store needs someone who can step in and organize things.For years now, there has been no system of reason to the organization of the book shelves. As my nephew put it, I could walk in there and grab all the books from the shelf and throw them on the floor and have the same chance of finding what I am looking for.When I asked the girl at the checkout about the chaos, she told me an untruth. Saying that recently they had lost some people and are trying to get back on track. The store has been in this state for years.You all have one of the few remaining bastions against the complete virtualization of the book buying experience. Show some pride in the store and organize it properly. I bet you would get more customers in.

The cashier was very knowledgeable on where everything was In the store. Didnt matter what book I asked for, he knew exactly the area where I could find it.

I love coming to Books-A-Million w/my family. However, lately it has just seemed cluttered. The game sections were difficult to peruse through and the bathroom looked like it was from an old rest stop.

Customer service was great, I was greater promptly and assisted with finding all the books I needed.

No lines and helpful staff. We had to find a specific book and through a little research the cashier was able to quickly take us right to it. The place was clean and well maintained.

Called today at 2:44 to reserve a book. The guy said Ill put up at the cashier area. Im standing here at 7:24 and its not there. They found it and the price the guy to me was wrong!! Horrible Absolutely Terrible!!

Bathrooms are scratch AF but lots of books online down side is I bought 2 if the same book out of the bargain rack but one was 3.95 and the other was 15.95.

Ive always loved going here. There really is only one single downfall to this place, the price. But you can sit and read, get a cup of coffee to accompany that book youre reading and relax. So many books, I dont think you could look through all the isles in one visit.

Came in to look for some kids exercise books for a friend whos suffered seizures and has Alzheimers. She loves dot to dot and some spot the difference which helps with her brain and logic. Some are very busy which shell not be able to manage but theres those which are less complicated. Im so happy they have a lovely selection and Ill be back soon!

Its amazing there, The workers are so nice and they help a lot when it comes to looking for books, plus the cafe inside of the store is awesome

I found what I wanted and the cashier was very helpful to my sister who ask where we could find books about birds. So I will be back to find my books when I want more.

Great selection of books. The books are a little disorganized but thats what you get from shopping for books in person. Their coffee shop is still open despite COVID.

So much to look at. Associates are very knowledgeable and friendly. Their little cafe has some awesome snack and coffee choices. A must go.

Comparable to Barnes and Noble and a lot cheaper in my opinion. Besides, the closest one is all the way in Nashville. Friendly service and has everything you need. Quiet place to work and read. Not a bad place to go if you love books and the atmosphere.

This is my favorite store to go get the latest books that are available and they also have all of the Disney princess books. I host Princess Tea parties so this store was my best choice to get our books from

The only reason Id give 4 stars is because I read a select genre of books which is chinese international affairs and current events. Their current affairs section is a little thin and their books covering anything to do with china is scarce. Although their bestseller section had some great titles. Store was clean and quite. They left me alone to browse which I appreciated. Theyre pretty over priced but what can you expect from a bookstore. If I were you just double check any pricing with amazon it may save you some serious $.

I love books and am glad this store is still thriving. Merchandise is organized well-ish. Staff is friendly enough. Wish there were more book worms instead of just taskers, however I do understand the nature of the hiring business.

One of the last surviving bookstores in Clarksville, TN. Has an amazing selection of books. There are also fun knick knacks and collectible merchandise that can be purchased here. Inside the store is a coffee shop Joes Muggs that has a great selection of drinks and desserts.

Walking into a bookstore is a different experience! The smell of the books is fantastic really. There really is nothing like the feel of a book too! They have new and gently used, and not to mention a clearance section! Add on the coffee shop, its a good place to browse for a while.

Im torn because I like the staff and the stuff they sale. However the place is dirty. The bathroom is disgusting and smells worse than a port-a-potty. Im pretty sure they didnt sweep in the rest of the place. The coffee tastes the same no matter what I get. Egg Nog Latte... tasted like warm milk. Caramel Machiatto... warm milk. The cinnamon scone was good though. I like to meet my coworker here and work on things but its gross. I was there at 9 (Saturday morning and the doors were not unlocked) so no one set in my space before I did; so why was my table area dirty? I like BAM, but I wish we had another option. I guess when you dont have to compete with anyone you dont have to keep things at a good standard.

Wide variety and great location. The only downside is that the Christian section isnt as big as I thought it would be. Went on looking for a concordance but could only find one that was huge and not practical enough to carry around... That, and it was $42.00. left without buying anything but enjoyed the time I was there. I would go back.

A very good atmosphere to go and relax. The cafe has a great selection of foods and drinks. The staff is a bit sparse, but I usually dont need help with anything so its perfect. I actually enjoy it because people around here like to be all up in your face with can i help you? every two seconds. None of that here.
