Auto4N far exceeded my expectations. I had my truck towed there thinking I had a bad transmission. They initially confirmed that it was going to be a costly repair which I agreed to pay. When they started the work they called me back to let me know it was not the initially suspected problem and that the repair would be much much less than I originally expected. Honestly I probably wouldn’t have known any better and they could have easily charged me 3x what they did. Keith kept regular contact with me and let me know what was going on at every step. In today’s world trust and honesty seem rare. This shop has both. They have gained my lifetime loyalty. I will recommend them to everyone I know who needs a trustworthy shop. I cannot express my appreciation enough.

These guys are awesome!!! My wife had been using the BMW store for ever. It just seemed like they were nickle and diming her. Finally, when they said she needed new brakes, we were referred to Auto 4 N for a second opinion. There was 30% left on the brakes before BMW recommended replacement. I think they do a better job, and tell you the honest truth about what you need to do. Plus, their prices are much more reasonable. I love the guys who work there. I cant recommend them enough.

They always do a great job with our cars. Also, real talk, I took too many Christmas pint glasses when we got our VW fixed and I feel a little bad about that. I didnt know there were two in each bag! But I asked first and the guy said okay and he might or might not have known what I meant when I asked if I could take another one and this review has become almost essentially useless except to reveal that the guys at Auto4N are generous folks, which, if you think about it, is helpful because when it comes to car repair, character counts.

When things go right, life is easy. It when things go wrong that you really find out what a business is made of. I had some major issues with my recent visit to Auto4N to get my aging Priuss A/C fixed. Mike took the stance that they were going to do whatever was necessary to meet my satisfaction. Im sure they spent over double the amount of time they expected on the repair. Also, they had additional parts to acquire.It is not clear to me why things did not go more smoothly with this repair and/or what could or should have been done differently. It is clear that Mike will stand behind his shop. That is appreciated.

I requested a Brake job and alignment and in the process the team at Auto4N flagged a couple of additional items including uneven tire wear and even gave me advice on how to approach the place that sold the tires to me. They did great work and Ill definitely be coming back!

I do a lot of work myself or with friends and family, but there are some jobs that are just beyond what Im comfortable with and should be left to the professionals. In this case it was an oil leak diagnosis and transmission re-seat and flush. They did an amazing job for a competitive price, were transparent and informative, and just were generally pleasant. After my first positive experience with AUTO4N Ive taken my vehicles back for Oil Changes, Replacing an Axle and Bearings on a Honda Pilot and plans to do additional work in phases to accommodate my budget. As long as I reside in Evanston, theyve got a loyal customer out of me. Plus, I like their fun colorful, nostalgic branding personality.

I’ve been taking my cars to Auto4N for as long as I’ve been driving and am continually impressed with the work and grateful for their professional advice. Mike, Keith, and crew have always given me their honest opinion of what was important to be done and what wasn’t necessary. When conducting a routine oil change on my fairly new car, they found a leak and helped me find the right way to get it fixed under the warranty, instead of just taking the work for themselves. Amazing team, who truly treats their customers right.

There were a number of issues addressed, all was handled professionally and I felt as though I was always in the loop on decision-making and progress.

My minivan required quite a lot of work. Mike and the team were very patient and answered all my questions. The work orders can be viewed online and include pictures - so you can see the issues identified, the results of diagnostics and the structure of the quote. They are now my go-to auto repair shop.

Auto4N provided an excellent experience for my BMW 528i. I was told by a dealer I need a complete engine replacement. The owner Mike diagnosed the problem and was confident the engine could be repaired. He was right and it saved me thousands. Not to mention their unbelievable customer service. I was contacted almost daily on the progress of the job. Fast, fair and a level of expertise I have never seen from a repair shop. Highly reccommend as others have as well. 5+ stars. Will never go anyplace else. I would highly trust them for your automotive needs, especially with a foreign car.

In each of my auto repair experiences with Auto4N, I have been very impressed with their customer service & expertise. Mike & Keith provide the highest level of service. They use technology to the greatest extent to keep customers very informed. They discuss all repairs in detail and provide photos in many cases. They go above & beyond.

I never owned a Volkswagen before, so Im still learning all its little quirks and features. When it needed brakes, I wanted a shop that specialized in either just VWs, or foreign makes. Auto4N fit that bill nicely. The price was fair, the job was done right, they even managed to reset an indicator light that was on for a long-replaced part! I highly recommend Auto4N to keep your foreign car happy, and your budget in line.

It started with my bmws suspension making a noise. Since I hadnt taken my car to a shop in Cincinnati yet, I figured that Auto4n would be a good choice since they were reviewed so highly, especially by other bmw owners. I can say that these guys absolutely live up to their reputation. Not only did they figure out what the problem was, they also identified multiple unrelated issues, the whole time taking photos to show me and explaining what was wrong. They know their stuff. Their rates were completely fair, and they were totally understanding about me not wanting to have some of them done yet. They even called to tell me that I didnt need an alignment yet, after I had told them to do it. That blew me away. Absolutely hit these guys up if you need your car worked on!

Made appointment 4 days Before my appointment. When I came in to my appointment. They told me that I have to leave my car there and there’s nowhere to sit inside or really hang out. That was extremely inconvenient for me. I really wish they would’ve told me that on the phone when I made my appointement four days before coming.I obviously didn’t get to use their service. Because most people don’t have a ride at 7:30 AM.so I made an appointment at Mazda where they have a sitting area.

They are great! Punctual, easy to make appointments, great lobby area with WiFi! I was able to bring my laptop and work remotely without a problem while I waited on my car. They even have light snacks and coffee. They were very knowledgeable and walked me through the issues with my car. I never felt pressured to make a big decision since they gave me all of the info to evaluate the work and expenses my car needs.

I asked them for a vehicle inspection as I was facing some vibration issues at high speed and while braking. They charged me for inspection and all they came up with was rotors defect. Having done the rotors I still had the vibration issues. Checking on the alignment check it suggested that it was never done.Had a good customer service and the COVID-19 sanitisation practice but not happy with the work.

I have been taking my car to Auto4N for a long, long time and have always been treated extremely well by them. They are totally honest and do excellent work at a very fair price. You will never get charged for something you dont need. Auto4N also sells used cars that theyve repaired and checked over. If you happen to be in the market, I cannot say enough good things about them. I bought a used Toyota Camry that ran well for the first few weeks but then less than a month later, the engine overheated and was beyond repair. What did Auto4N do? They replaced the engine FREE OF CHARGE!!! Talk about business integrity! Nobody stands by their work these days but Auto4N does! They are truly the best auto repair shop in the city, hands down. Dont waste your time and money by taking your car anywhere else. These guys are the greatest!

Even after getting a call that I had multiple, expensive repairs needed on my BMW X3 (which is never a fun phone call to get from autoshops) they were very honest, straightforward, and provided so much helpful advice on what my options were. In fact, they were honest & caring enough to suggest another avenue for me to take with the car (trading it in/selling it) instead of putting all of the money into repairs on it - which in turn would have been profit for them.While Im moving on from the foreign car world, I did let Mike & the team know that Ill for sure be recommending anyone & everyone to their shop who has a foreign car need. Auto4N is such a great place! They have taken such good care of my Honda Civic! I regularly get my oil changes here, and do normal check-ups. Recently I went in because my plastic guard underneath my car had fallen off, and Mike came out and said it was completely fine. For free instead he: zip-tied the other plastic piece to ensure it was going anywhere, rain-xd my windshield, topped off my windshield wiper fluid, and secured my splash guards that were falling off. I also always get a thank you note in the car whenever I use them, a holiday card, and every time I go in there I get a t-shirt, or a beer glass, or a mug as a thank you. I also used them to put on tires that I had purchased, I had prepared to also get my brakes done, and they completely stunned my by saying, Is there a reason youre looking to get them done, because they look fine to us. Ive never had an auto place actually look out for my best interest, and not just go for the money. Lastly, as a female, Ive had a lot of bad experiences at auto places. Mechanics usually assume I have no idea what Im talking about and talk over me, or only talk to my boyfriend if he comes with me. Ive NEVER had that experience at Auto4N, everyone is so nice, and they take great care! Thanks so much Auto4N!

The employees are very friendly and give good details about what is going on with your car. They even take pictures and videos so you can see for yourself. They also work to get you in and out as quickly as they can. Overall great service and prices.
