Lol @ the negative comments. Yeah. Only the hood doors are locked 15 before closing because only in the hood do people run in 3 minutes before closing and insist they can hold employees hostage for an hour while they shop! Ive never seen a pleasant person complain about employee attitudes or bad customer service. Look in the mirror. YOU are the problem. Not the minimum wage earning essential worker. And, yeah. People are there begging. Stop complaining about people begging and do something to contribute to lifting the area out of poverty.Im grateful I dont have to take two to three buses to get necessities on a very tight budget. Im grateful for every employee who comes to work despite having to deal with abuse every day from poor people on a power trip.

Drove to this store because Google maps said it was the closest to me at the time. Pulled up to see gates across the entrance so you cant get in the parking lot and the windows boarded up. Guess I shouldve read a couple of the recent comments before just heading there.

I just left this store and the wait time and the service was unacceptable..The manager Bejermain instead of making the wait time less the manager decided that he would tell the customer that the wait time is going to be longer because people were upset and seeking their mine, because he wouldnt open another line to move the lines...the manager was very rude and unprofessional..STAY AWAY

Was in there a little while ago and after waiting 20 minutes In line cause cashier just left and stayed gone 15 minutes and then when I used my card to pay for my stuff it said decline and the card I used got over 100 dollars on it my stuff only was like 13 dollars so then I used another card that got thousands on it and it said declined at so clearly something is wrong with that machine

Honest Review ...This store need a real security guard ( cause the people who work there I saw like 3 females and a male ) cant be and not their Job to be ( store stop being cheap ) hire a police officer cause of past problems with this store ..Now to the review ..this is a new store been around a year or so ..but the store have so many problems I read about or heard about ..the store need bright lighting in there cause looks very depressing kinda feeling ..the employees doing the best they could do with the problems ..its seem like its overwhelming issues at times ..whoever own this store should do better with Security and Stocking up the place

This store is ridiculous it should not be open,its always empty so theres not much to buy,the people that work there r rude,lazy saying look how long the line is staring at us and walking by,very inconsiderate of other peoples time, 40 min I stood in line for 2 items I asked the young man was he going to open another register..he blatantly said no.A young lady came out and said register 3 is opening, I said it should be the next person in line ,he says let her go first so she can get out of here ,I will definitely not visit this dirty ratchet, store ever again and corporate will definitely get a copy of this review.And to people that shop here you deserve to be treated better as a consumer, its your money that you worked hard for, and they only treat you this way because of it beingAn Urban neighborhood,u dont see this at the dollar tree in cicero,or berwyn even the store on north ave ,You deserve better, and You should demand excellent customer care just as everyone else .If you know better,do better. Call corporate, email them.Get the quality products that you deserve.

Its decent. They could keep the candy aisle stocked better and whats up with all the balloons on the ceiling without strings???

Store was well stocked, staff was very pleasant however the outside appearances were terrible. Garbage everywhere, people outside begging, will only go there if I dont have any other choice.

In addition to a gratitude list that I have created in my blog, I just want to throw it out there that I am very thankful that I have a Dollar Tree in my neighborhood. During many of my visits I typically purchase items such as soap, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, tissue, mailing envelopes and the list goes on....... I figure why go elsewhere when you can just go to a Dollar Tree. I have even purchased snack and food items like cereal and milk, and guess what? All were just a dollar!.Anyway! I made my initial visit during the grand opening on a Saturday morning, and best believe it was crowded. There were four registers open, yet it took forever to get through that line, but I expected that because it was the grand opening. I walked into a squeaky clean store with a brand new smell to it with freshly new items stocked, but Im sure that it will not last as the months go on.This Dollar Tree is in place where there used to be a CVS Pharmacy present, which only lasted a year! Yes, a year! Makes me wonder about the possibility of this Dollar Tree not lasting in the neighborhood, which makes me want to enjoy it while its here. It sits in an area where many questionable individuals walk the streets, so be aware of your surroundings upon entering and leaving. It is also one of the impoverished sides of town, too. But Im sure you are aware of that by now if you are visiting.The funny thing about neighborhoods that are dominantly African American is that select individuals get stereotyped as thieves due to how they present themselves in the store, which I overheard hilarious conversations while going through the line about certain shoppers. My theory is, if you let them get away most likely they will return for more things which could possibly lead to them being caught. Pretty obvious with that customer that always visits, yet purchases nothing. If they honestly cannot afford anything that costs only a dollar then it just shows that they truly have nothing. With that being said, I will get off of my soap box! I hope this review assists you in any way.Thomas G

Very friendly and helpful staff. Am disappointed in the stock factor of this store. Cold/refidgerated products (I.e. milk juice or butter) are not available consistently. Visited 4x differing days n times. Items still not available.

My new favorite store! When I walked in I thought it was still CVS but I was surprised when I stepped in so I shopped for what I needed,an associate there helped me and we had a nice talk. I will be back!UPDATE!!! I recently returned (my fav store) to get some cash from the atm,i was told by an associate that they didnt have one and he said(you can get cash back) so i decided to go in and buy a few things. When i got to the counter to check out (my total purchase was $3 and some change so he said how much do you want back, i said about 50 or 60 he said that was too much he claimed he just opened the register,i said what about $20? he i aint doin it! I said how much can i get?He said i aint doin it! I was baffled because the only reason i came in/bought items at that time is because he said i could get cash back!?! SMFH I paid for my items and left.

Worst dollar tree experience ever. Young lady whose name tag showed her to be management...... never greeted any customers except for the young lady who appeared to a love interest to her. Never asked if I wanted a bag..... I had one in my hand. I am not paying for a bag. Didnt bother to stand up straight as she checked me out. She was leaning all over the register. Looking mean and tired. When I was finished paying... she just snatched the receipt off and lift two fingers to hand it off to me. She was also very rude to one of the other workers. It was unnecessary and unprovoked. Corporate will be getting a call.

This store needs a new management all those products they have, they can keep the store clean, disorganized, messy, smell never again.
