Great experience , professionalism was on another level. I watched the guy do my brakes and everything he did was stuff I’ve never seen other mechanics do to make sure my brakes were perfect . They don’t rush they just care about making sure every job is done 100% . Also they said they only use high end parts I was spectacle about that because of past experiences at other shops, they even showed me the type new parts In the box before installing it. I searched up the parts later because I don’t no much about cars but the parts they used were almost 3 times the cost of what AutoZone was charging. So made me feel great that I definitely got my money’s worth

The guys there are good , they helped me out a lot. They took a lot of time out of there day to help me out. They also do financing so if you don’t have all the money and you are in a jam they can finance you even if u have bad credit with 0 down

EDITED: Took my minivan in for a tuneup April 2020 a few months later my van was having starting problems. Its been down since Dec. Finally Got it to another shop to be diagnosed and was told I need a tuneup and my spark plugs and wires hadn’t been changed in a really long time. I will Never go here again or recommend them, they took my money and did No Work.Look up my name and you will see there is no mistake about where I took it.

Works on all on my family cars for years never had an issue my mom got her A/C fixed on her 2015 Ram that no one could figure out interstate figured it out within minutes and got the repair done and now A/C is blowing great very reliable and dependable shop they realize people is human and works with everyone budget the best they can

Wish I couldchoose -0 stars...Im glad all i had was a diagnostic! They overcharged me for a diagnostic, then tried to clean up the lie when my boyfriend called to price it. They denied upcharging me but my guy was VERY CLEAR in asking for the exact same service over the phone in which they quoted him a lower price. And of course then proceeded to inform me that because they only use NEW parts, the services that I needed was 2k worth of work and they couldnt even pinpoint the original issue that I originally brought my car in for in the 1st place. . . WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! Especially if youre a woman going there alone.

If I could put 0 stars i would this coming from a child of God, if you need the work done and dont mind paying the price then go here other then that go somewhere else because if you dont research on the situation your going in for they get you out your money! I love Interstate Auto Repair! They were so professional and very quick to service my car. I definitely trusted them over some other repair shops, I didnt feel like they were trying to take advantage of me. I will forever be their customer!

***UPDATE*** The shop manager/owner called me and expressed his apologies for my experience. He came off as very sincere and asked me what they could do to improve. While Im unable to take back everything I said about my experience, I can however absolutely take back the part about this shop being the worst. Calling back a customer to attempt to make amends and right a wrong is an extremely rare act these days and that is why I updated our review to a ***4.5 STARS*** (no option to select half stars). Mistakes will certainly happen but how he chose to approach them was exceptional to me. This shop showed me they CARE, regardless of if your experience with them is good or bad!!I took my mothers car for service after being told it could be diagnosed quickly (unlike some other shops). It took them an entire week to diagnose that her entire suspension needed to be replaced and that she needed an evap part (emissions). They quoted me $2800 for the whole job. So first I told them I was just going to give up on the car and go buy her another. He turned into a salesman quick and advocated for her to keep the car. Then after I decided to only fix all of the suspension they quoted me $1450 total - which conveniently they ONLY ACCEPT CASH (although they have their visa and mc logos displayed). I gave them half to start. Another week + went by and they finally call me to tell me her car would be ready by 4pm Saturday, latest. My mother shows up on Monday with the exact remaining cash balance I gave her and is told they need another hour to finish up the car. On top of that they then tell her they needed an additional $150 because they forgot to quote the tax when they told me the total w/everything. So for them to release my mothers car I had to cashapp their mechanic the $150. By far the worst repair shop Ive been to as far as I can recall. I end up asking our family attorney if there was anything I could do and she suggested starting with sharing our experience... so there you have it.

Im so thankful that someone told me about this shop, its saved me so much stress over the years. The most honest and reasonably priced mechanic Ive ever dealt with.

I’m a driver for advanced auto and I drop off parts around my area and out of all the shops he is the most respectful and does great work on cars for what I see. I took my car to him today for my AC and his prices are reasonable. He’s also a foreign car tech so keep that in mind.

I brought my Cadillac in for a wire repair job. They did an amazing job fixing these problems. I been to many shops an they b.s around or over charge me. But these guys did a great job. They took their time an made sure the job was completed. I highly recommend them to fix cars and get the job done.

Great people Ive been one of there customers for over 20 years, they use to have a shop on 111th and cicero and they relocated there location i been following them and been loyal to them for 20 years my entire family goes to them they real good they only do quality repairs and they treat you like family they go above and beyond for tbere customers and unlike other shops they actually appreciate every dollar that u spend with them never met a more friendly respectful business in my life just be patient with them n show them respect and youll get back double in return i give em 10 stars for there appreciation and great work

This place was so bad! In fact Ive had bad experiences other places and this has been the WORST experience EVER.Dropped the car off was told it would be ready by a certain date. It wasnt. Okay fine things happen and I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He said it would be ready on Tuesday. So on Wednesday went out there but he refused to come into work. When he finally did answer the phone he said he was not coming into work because his wife had a baby. We said we dont want the work done we just want the keys. He said we would talk about it tomorrow. Now it Thursday no one will answer the phone, they refuse to release the keys so that we can have it towed and worked on somewhere else.This is a horrible place and I seriously doubt this guy has any credibility. I would never send my enemies here even. NEVER GO HERE!!!!

Great shop, came in to do my brakes and not only did they go above and beyond but they also put top quality parts for the great price they quoted me for.. they showed me the new parts in the box to prove to me that there using best quality parts and they also serviced each caliper for free to ensure I’m getting the best braking system. Normally shops trip charging 60$ per brake caliper service when they did it free telling me they believe it should be done after any brake job, which tells me a lot about there knowledge n extreme care for every car they touch! Been to many shops but must admit this is first shop that went above & beyond . Treat them with respect n they will go 10 times more for u! Respect goes a very long way! Wouldn’t recommend any shop for any auto repairs but this shop I believe Abe is the front guy I dealt with for anyone who cares. My new shop

Went into this mechanic shop when my car randomly wouldn’t start when at the local store. Called the mechanic shop across street and their EXCELLENT staff helped jump my car and was able to take to them for repair. The staff was super honest and did not upsell me on all kind of stuff. Turns out my car only needed a battery. Abe at the front desk was super friendly and honest! Highly recommend this place for all automotive issues!

Had my truck in for repairs and they did an excellent job. They were so good and knowledgeable, explaining everything to me before proceeding, to get my approval. Their pricing is comparable to other shops, maybe even a little less. But well worth my 20 minute drive. Highly recommended for any of your automotive needs.

This place is worth checking out i decided to make this my place to bring any mechanical needs. I had the unfortunate luck to of been driving down 95th street during the winter and of course it was pot hole city, I suddenly drove through a huge crater that I totally missed because it was covered by a loose piece of concrete, needless to say my wheel was damaged tire was blown and axle broke. Abe was so kind to of called his tow guy but not only did he give me a ride to the shop, he covered it as I didn’t have money to cover it right there and then. He gave me an excellent price for the repairs and I even offered to pay him back for the tow and he refused. Said he was just glad I was ok and no bodily harm was done to myself or my daughter that was in the car with me at that time. I highly recommend these guys, they know their stuff and aren’t out to rip u off like some of the nearby shops. Thanks Abe, my family and I thank you.

They over charge for labor but i said find I’ll pay the fee but then was charged and extra 160 because they replaced a part with out my consent and then going to say i FIGURED you wanted it because i told you about it. I never said yes to do it. Bad communication and they phone is off. They are iffy. Lack customer service.

I feel like committing suicide I went to have my front head light checked..honestly and asked about getting my brakes checked as well. I was first told that it would be an 80 dollar diagnostic fee and then later that he could not find my bulb in the shop and when he did it would be 80 dollars for it.Abe then began to fast talk me about my brakes eventually giving me a price of 485 for the front brakes and 485 for the back brakes and 80 for the light. I could not believe what I was hearing then he began to fast talk me again not wanting me to get a word in and by this time I was so scared that they had did something to my car because they were in the back talking in a foreign language. I tried to refuse the service but Abe continued to pressure the issue and I was so scared.I ended up paying for the front brakes and the light which totalled 628 just for brake pads rotors and light only. That was all the money I had and I was dumb enough to fall for it and they knew that. I am just writing because Im afraid to kill my self and dont know what else to do. PLEASE DONT GO THERE..IF YOU ARE in a bind PLEASE DONT GO THEREI AM BEGGING THE PUBLIC..I KNOW IT WAS MY FAULT BECAUSE I PAYED IT BUT YOU WOULD HAVE TO HAVE BEEN THERE TO UNDERSTAND WHY..I WILL BE CALLING THE BBB..HOPEFULLY THIS MESSAGE HELPS SOMEONE.
