My new go to mechanic in the neighborhood. They took my car in on a Friday and I had it back first thing the next morning. Went in for an oil change,general check up and also a belt change which was HIGHLY recommended by my last mechanic- L&L told me right away that I had no need for the costly service and it could wait 1 or 2 more years.They didnt try up sell any other unnecessary work which is almost always the case anywhere else.Super honest, quick and affordable work.

Worked needed was done ok. Downside was their attempt on adding a couple repairs that werent needed on my car at this time. In both cases this brake and filter maintenance had been all done within the last year. I wont return to L & L unless there is warranty work necessary on what was repaired.

Good customer service, but it comes at a premium. The costs seem a bit on the upper end. I wish they were slightly more cost effective.

I found this business right here on Google Maps because it was close to where my car had died. They helped me with locating a towing service when Triple A would have taken hours and hours.Then they were able to find the issue and fix it within 45 mins! I was all done and able to enjoy the holiday weekend very quickly.Absolutely would recommend.

After many years of going here. It’s time to leave a review. First off, I’d like to say that I only trust these guys with my toy car. Anything out of my reach I do not hesitate reaching out for their assistance. Luis and Luis give many options when it comes to repairs/maintenance. They also do not pressure me into anything. Their recommendations are top notch and honest. I took my Acura RL there for a proper tune up and man did they wake the engine up! Will be going back for further rigorous work done on my ride. I cant say enough about Luis and his son. Theyve been taking care of my familys cars for over 15 years.  They are always up front and honest about what repairs can wait and work to find the most economical parts when they cant.When the car I bought from them was totaled in an accident they walked me through the whole process of dealing with the other drivers insurance company and answered every question I had.  Ive also seen them perform actual miracles on a nearly 20 year old Accord.   I wont go anywhere else.

Ive been going to L & L auto service for two months now and theyve pretty much built me an entire new car! My 2000 Honda CR-V needed a lot of work and after the brake line replacements, Ive had my both upper & lower control arm, anti-roll bar links, radiator, entire exhaust system, and gasket changes done. Honda wanted to charge me $3000 to make these repairs and I only spent around $1,000. They actually didnt charge me for the exhaust system. I just got my last repair back today and overall these guys work hard to make sure your car will last longer than you expect. They will even let you pick the parts and let you know which ones they trust. I really wanted to hit 300k miles with my CR-V and now I think its possible. These guys are the best! Thanks Luis Jr. and Luis Sr. and to every mechanic that worked on my car!

We continue to receive reliable, affordable, and friendly service at L&L! Luis & Jr. had been servicing our Toyota Camry for two years until it was involved in a total loss auto accident in July. Not only did they help us upgrade to a Lexus from their lot, but they allowed us to trade in the totaled Camry for partial credit on the purchase! We’ll definitely continue using them for our auto needs as long as we live in the city!

Needed my brakes and rotors replaces along with an oil change. Called around to three other auto repair shops and they had the best price. The super friendly customer service was an even nicer bonus. They gave me a very fair price, did the work in a timely fashion, and from what I can see the rotors look awesome. I know my go-to spot for any car work now! Highly recommended!

L&L saved me TWICE in one day! Ive always been hesitant of mechanic auto places due to fear of getting scammed especially since Im a girl and dont know much about cars but my old battery died one morning so I called the nearest place and was greeted by Luis Jr who said no problem I can be there in 5 minutes. I thought a serious kinda annoyed guy for having to drive out to me would arrive (the usual) but Luis Jr Arrived in 5 minutes with a warm greeting, smile, actual concern of what happened and started my car for me with no problem. I drove to AutoZone to change my battery I turned it off and my car wouldnt start again AutoZone themselves were NOT able to change my battery or start my car after using TWO BATTERY STARTERS! I was stranded! I called Luis Jr again thinking he would get bothered to help me AGAIN with my battery after literally driving to me earlier but after calming me down lol he told me its no problem dont worry he will be there in 10 min he arrived with HIS battery starter that turned my car on IMMEDIATELY! I took my car to L&L and was able to get not only my whole car inspected but my battery changed, oil changed and a new right headlight that no other mechanic from two other places was able to fix. Seriously saved my life! The next week my engine light turned on I freaked out and called L&L Luis Jr answered he said no problem bring it by for a engine scan. Checked for me super quick before work they explained, fixed the issue and I was good to go to work! Super convenient, quick, they actually explain what are the issues dont try to push any extra stuff u dont need. This is my new go to place you can tell they know what they are doing and love what they do so I feel good finally having a place I can depend on with my car not only that Luis Sr and Jr are very Humble, Super Professional, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HIGHLY recommend L&L They know what they are doing and definitely give you a trusting new experience.

This morning, I was on my way out the door to drive to the other part of the city for a dear colleagues funeral. My car wouldnt start. I was beyond upset, as Id promised said coworkers mother that I would be there to pay respects (limited allowance of visitors at funeral homes right now, due to Covid). In any event, I walked next door to L&L Auto to see if they could help/loan me something. Within seconds they were in my garage checking and replacing my battery and I was on the road immediately and made it on time. A week ago I went to see them, as I figured I needed a tune up. They checked all and told me my car was fine and didnt need a thing. Zero charge.Hard to find good, honest businesses sometimes but these guys are always there for me. And theyre friendly when I see them, day to day. I dont often care to post on social media but this immediate act of kindness and professionalism warranted it.

The guys are great!! I was surprised to hear they would take me in w/o an appointment on a busy Saturday afternoon. The technician did not hesitate, and told me to bring it around. I personally saw the cars sticking out of the garage with their shop closing in just a couple of hours. They put me at ease quickly and took it in.L junior listened to me about what my situation and was very thorough w me about what they were gonna do and when he would get back to me. He was remarkably on point in keeping me updated about issues, needs, choices, delays, etc. The technicians were efficient in the amount of work needed vs. time taken to do it. And finally, they were honest. Honest in what needed to be done, rather than just doing things that were unnecessary, and more than fair in how they they billed me. For instance, only 2 tires were replaced, not all 4, like other places may have done. Middle of the road tires were used, rather than the most expensive ones, again, like other places may have done.Bottom line, this is a family run business and this is their livelihood. They stake their name on the product they deliver to you. It is very clear integrity and honesty is vital to their success. Its also clear they want to form a relationship and bring you back, rather than milk you for whatever they can and never see you again.This is what I was looking for in my Chicago mechanic, and I found it. I had to get an ignition coil and two tires fixed in a pinch. They were happy to accept my business and got it done in less than 2 hours. These guys seem very honest and Im looking forward to returning here for future business.

Great service, trustworthy. They went out of their way to give me a great experience. This included taking my car to the emmisions test for me. Even a week after the work was done, they helped me out. I left a light on and Jr drove over to my house to give me a jump start. Thats above and beyond.
