I purchased my MKS some years ago and the buying experience was great. I gave it 5 stars.It has now dropped to 1 star.I purchased a new 100 month warranty battery from them the last time I had my car inspected there. This battery died on the highway. Stone cold dead with no previous warning. It happens I guess. I paid a $100 to get it towed to their dealership just to be told that they couldn’t look at my car for three weeks. It was soon after that I realized it was in fact the battery that made my car go into limp mode.Armed with “Its only the battery and I bought it here!” Can you look at it now? No sir, we are backed up. “I will take it out and walk it into your shop” No sir, not allowed. Can a mechanic just take 5 minutes and walk onto the lot to test it and when proven bad, I’ll even put it in? No sir, can’t do that.But, if you leave me your keys we will see if we can get to it in a few days but no promises.That was my best offer and I needed my car for work.End result. I had to purchase a new battery elsewhere. I asked for so little and my favorite dealership couldn’t comply or even honor their own warranty. How easy it is to lose a customer these days.

I had the best new car buying experience I’ve ever had at Cavalier Lincoln. Earl Odom is extremely knowledgeable about the options and features of the models sold there. When my husband and I went for a test ride he showed us the features and settings that come with the vehicle we purchase the next day. Earl Odom and Mike Smith did a wonderful job facilitating the buying process. Then before I left the dealership, Earl and I sat in my new Lincoln and he showed me the how to work the features again. I feel really good about the whole experience.

They truly get ZERO. We purchased a vehicle from this place with their promise that it was certified, safe. Within the first two weeks after purchase, a group of our family members inclusive of children, were riding on the highway in the vehicle and it spontaneously slowed all the way down almost to a stop. We had to have it towed from the middle of the street we all waited in until dark. The finance supervisor and sales department behaved in a nonchalant manner, never mentioned nor showed any remorse. They - Mike Smith (who sold it to us), and Sharon of service department acted like it was a burden to them and gave us a hard time concerning fixtures. We wont be referring anymore churches, companies not family, or anyone to them anymore. Human life is less than dollars to them we clearly felt and saw first hand.

Ive been coming to Cavalier Lincoln for everything since 2017 and it was by far the best dealership experience Id had all my life. I convinced my parents to both buy cars from here last year as well. I dont know what has happened to this place. It is not the same dealership it once was. For the last year, all three of us have had nothing but problems dealing with the service department of both Lincoln and Ford. I went in last month for an oil change and inspection. I was met with the typical routine maintenance upsell which is to be expected. What they didnt know was that I changed my cabin air filter myself a month prior. They sit and try to tell me they inspected it and it was in bad shape. Upon explaining that couldnt be the case, the service lady said she would personally check it and call me back. I never received that phone call but when I went to pick up my car, they were in agreement that my filter was fine. In the last couple of months, Cavalier has scheduled my mom for a recall repair. She shows up for the first appointment that was set 2 months prior only to find out there were no parts upon her arrival. Car now goes back in last Friday for this same repair and she still does not have her car back. They are giving every excuse in the book as to why. Also, the pick up and drop off service they claim to offer when you buy a car has yet to be honored by them and god forbid you ask for a loaner car these days from them. They used to offer them to you anytime you had the vehicle in for work. Now they conveniently never have one available. Hopefully they can figure out where they went wrong in the last year and fix their service department because dealing with them the way its currently run is a nightmare.

This dealership has been the best one Ive dealt w/ in my 25 years living around Hampton Roads. I bought my Aviator this past July and unfortunately had issues w/ it. The service department was spot on w/ each and every issue but I still had concerns for the amount of time it had to go in for service in such a short time. Fast forward today Im in another BRAND NEW AVIATOR - couldnt even tell I had it switched out as my sales rep Lee Peregorff and the rest of the Cavalier Lincoln team put my satisfaction first and foremost. Highly recommend this car and more importantly this dealership if youre ever in the market for a great luxury car.

The most absolute worst service department I have had my vehicle at!!! Totally ridicolous.I had my vehicle to the shop twice for a heating issue and was told nothing was wrong with it while it was there. They brought it back in to look at it and then found a heating issue when my warranty ran out and was going to charge me. Jonathan the service manager never called me back after two weeks I had to call back. Then when I spoke with him he was very rude. He felt that I shouldnt be upset because they are taking care of the heating after I let them know how I felt about it. He told me he wasnt in the mood to discuss my concerns. He gave me his direct cell line but it wasnt his cell as if he was trying to do a great thing. I called two days in a row for the service managers but never got a call back from either. It seems like they are never in the office, or just too busy to take care of their customers. I dont know maybe customers that keep a company open isnt that important.

I scheduled my inspection and oil change for December 21 back in October. The whole purpose was to get it done and ready for the drive home for Christmas. All that needed done was new brakes and two new tires. I spent $1,100 and waited three days!I dropped it off the previous night so that it would be there for the beginning of the day. (I was scheduled for 8 a.m. Monday morning) I get a call at 2:30 in the afternoon that they just now ran the inspection and that all that needed done were the brakes and tires. Any other business, I would have had the car back that day since there was still multiple hours before they close. They said, we might not get it done before the end of the day. Is tomorrow morning ok? I told them I was fine with that as a could get a ride to work and get dropped off. I did not hear from them all day Tuesday unitl I called at 3:00. They said they would work on it tomorrow. I still did not hear from them until I called at 3:00 when they said it still needed to get the alignment done, and I could pick it up at 4:00.This was the worst experience I have ever had with inspection. I have never had to wait 3 days for work to get done that was so minor, especially considering I scheduled my appointment months ahead. I was not offered any discount. I was not even apologized to. The best I got was, I dont know why it took so long. Ill never go back. I recommend no one wastes their time there to begin with.

Several recent issues with their service department that have caused me to seek help elsewhere.1. They charge an expensive fee to diagnose the issue with your vehicle that is not included in the overall repair charge. I believe it was $190 the last time I went. So its $190 + Parts + labor. Other dealers waive the diagnostic fee if you have your vehicle serviced there.2. If come in for service, the turn around is lengthy. They are always terribly back-up. Maybe they are having a shortage of parts or manpower, but its difficult to get a timely appointment. Dropped my car off for four days and nothing was performed (not even the diagnosis).3. They are difficult to get on the phone. Despite constant calls you likely wont be able to get someone on the phone for some period of time. I thought this was due to a busy schedule; however, there doesnt appear to be a sense of urgency when I drop off or pick up my vehicle.I normally would attribute these issues to the stress of COVID-19; but, Ive notice the decline in service long before the pandemic.

Service (wheel alignment) was performed well as far as I can tell, and took a reasonable amount of time to complete. But, I had expected to be able to use my accrued Reward Points to pay for the service, and they couldnt even log in to the Reward Points system (they said), so I had to pay for the service in full. What good are Reward Points if you cant use them?Since I first posted this review, the Service Manager has contacted me and was able to use my reward points and then refund my credit card payment. So I can now give them 5 stars.

Was a serious buyer that made a counter offer on their appraisal of my vehicle ($3k less than other dealers) and on their list price of a used vehicle. The sales manager Mike Smith walked over, slapped my key on the table said, “we aren’t close, I don’t know where you get your numbers from” and walked away. Didn’t even have the courtesy to discuss with me. Evidently he didn’t care that I told his salesman where I got my numbers from, just stormed off. Even if he thought my counter was too far off I’m guessing there are polite ways to explain that to a potential customer - but they just lost this one.

Used Lincoln Way app to have them pick up my car for service, Lincoln brags on how wonderful to have a car dropped off and the take yours for service. I had to wait a week for the appointment and nobody showed or contacted me. I am not impressed.I called the dealership, they were apologetic and wanted to make it better, which was swell, however they said something that irked me. My personal experience is 0 stars, and they really have to go out of there way to piss me off, as I am a BIG FAN of Lincoln, I am glad now that when I bought my car they had no inventory so I have nothing invested in them. Perhaps in a few months Ill try them again, or Ill let Walmart change my oil.

Was charged $2,000 to fix a sunroof. On top of that, my car had to be kept for 5 days to get the parts. Icing on the cake? The employees stole over $15.00 of change that was in my center compartment. Won’t be returning at any cost.
