Spoke to Max on a Wednesday about granite countertop installation for my wet bar in the basement. He was able to come in on the following Friday (2 days later) for measurements. Not only was the price the best around my area, he was able to get the granite ordered and installed by that following Monday (2 days later). All other granite companies in area had tons of backorders and Modern Stone Design was available right away. The work completed was clean and pristine. I would definitely recommend Modern Stone Design to my family and friends and if I ever needed granite again, I will definitely be a repeat customer with this company!

From estimate to install the experience was great. The installers even put down sheets to protect my floors and cleaned up afterwards. They were punctual and the install was faster than anticipated. I would definitely use them again and will be referring them to my friends.

I highly recommend Modern Stone Design for your next project. We originally hired them for our countertop installation and then decided to hire them to install our backsplash, and I’m sure glad we did! The countertops and backsplash look magnificent.Max was super easy to work with and reasonably priced. We were able to finalize a lot of the details before visiting the store and signing the contract. Once we installed the cabinets, we called Max, and he and a colleague came out to do measurements and were able to order and install the quartz within the week. We also added the backsplash installation when he took the countertop measurements. The price was great, and they suggested a really innovative way to install the backsplash that would hide prior damage from the original countertops.The installation jobs went incredibly well. The countertop and backsplash installers are incredibly talented, professional, and friendly. They also worked quickly and efficiently, and were able to complete the jobs that day.

My wife and I got new quartz countertops from Modern Stone Design and could not be happier. The price was better than all estimates and quality of the quartz was A+. We got our entire kitchen remodeled and we chose MSI calacatta miraggio quartz for our countertop. We shopped around many big name brand locations and we can confidently say that Modern Stone gave us the best price and they were on top of their schedule when it comes to taking measurements, preparing template and actual installation. Per our request, the stone was delivered in one single piece and was very professionally installed. The installers took their time to match all the veins in our waterfall island and their work was 100% perfect. Kaiden at modern stone is truly a gentleman by heart and professional at work. Within 24 hours of my call to Max he was able to not only give me a great price but also able to have my counter tops cut, finished and installed! First off......Max in the showroom was great. He took the time to show me many options and worked with me on my price range. I did stop at a competitor earlier in the day and the pricing was 75% more than Modern Stone Design. I got my bar top done in less than 48hrs from start to finish and I am extremely happy with the work and my new beautiful quartz bar top. They even threw in the drilling for my beer tap!! Unfortunately I do not have a good review to give. My husband and I selected a specific slab of granite as we like the coloring and movement. I wanted the light greys/whites/creams/browns. What we received today was not what we ordered. Very heavy dark blacks and it was impossible to find any pattern matching to the picture of our slab. All this after TWO no call no shows. The first was for the measurements, no one ever came, I called a couple hours after they were due to a half hearted apology and a reschedule for the next day. Install was set up for yesterday, again no call/no show, so I called 2 hpurs after our schedule time for an update to another half hearted apology asking to reschedule the next day. Today was install and Im extremely dissatisfied, it is not what we ordered/wanted. I was told I would be called to look at it template out on the slab to make sure we were happy with the pattern prior to it being cut, that never happened. So now I have a brand new kitchen that I hate.

There is quite a lot selection of material in the store. They are doing modern costum design with elegance and precise measurement. Moreover they are very friendly and helpful. They finished our bathrooms beautifully. They also fixed and polished the previously done kitchen. We are very happy with the work done. They kept their promises, came on time and It is done in promised time frame during pandemic. Prices are fair comparing to other stores and quality of the service we got. Thank you very much. We enjoy our new bathroom.

I was referred to Modern Stone Design to select a top for my newly purchased vanity; thats when I met the owner/sales manager Max Juma. He helped choose the stone that would suit my needs in price preference and the combination of colors in my color scheme. Max showed me several option that would go best. I called his office several times with questions and concerns; he addressed every question and concern. He assured me that he would personally travel to my home to do the measurements, which he did. Literally finished having granite installed just now and had to post a review. I had an amazing experience! I chose the granite and contacted MSD. The fabricator (Max) came for measurements, got the granite, and had it installed in less than a week! I took the recommendations from the fabricator and Im glad I did... He really knows what he is doing and I trust his experience. I had to have a very small seam due to the length of the countertop and was concerned about seeing it... you cannot even notice it! The price and service far surpassed all of the other competitors I had contacted... I highly recommend MSD!!!

The absolute worst company to do business with. The owner took measurements instead of doing a template. The fit was horrible and we have been promised a fix, but it as been over two months and no one has come out. Every week is another excuse and a ton of lies. DO NOT USE MSD MARBLE!

Countertops are beautiful

Everyone makes mistakes. Its what you do about them that separates the good contractor from the bad. My job was two pieces of granite. The two were not cut from the same slab. The colors arent even close. Additionally, the smaller piece was cut half an inch too short. He told me he wanted to have the granite come off the wall the half inch and then caulk it. I told him that would look horrible. Then he suggested to pull the granite a quarter inch off the wall and for me to put up a tile backsplash. Something I hadnt intended on doing and would cost me close to $1000.Max said he would get back to me with a fix. A month later I had to call him to find out what he was going to do about it. He said there was nothing he could do for me because he didnt have another slab. He said he would send me $100 for my troubles. A month later nothing from Max. I called him again. Said the check got lost in the mail. Said he would send another one. Still nothing from him and its been over a year.Buyers beware. This guy is just another dishonest contractor. You may end up being happy with your job. But if youre not youre guaranteed to not get satisfaction from him

Max and his guys did a Carrera white marble counter top for me. My house is extremely old and everything is uneven. Max and his guys took a hours to get the countertop PERFECT dispite all of the hurdles. They also did the waterfall on the edge which looks amazing. You should seriously give him a call if you need countertops.
