Soooo Good! Definitely Recommend! Much better than your typical ice cream in buckets place. They have chocolate and vanilla or both and you add toppings to it. The toppings are mixed with the ice cream, not just on top. They also offer milkshakes with the same options. Staff was super friendly and helpful, and fast! Extra Shoutout for the signs being in several different languages to accommodate customers.

One of my favorites places to eat ice cream in Chattanooga! They are fast (even if the lines are big) and the options to chose from are amazing. It’s location is great! You can have an ice cream and walk by the Walnut Bridge.

It is an excellent ice cream parlor to visit while in Chattanooga. It is located at the end of the pedestrian bridge which makes it convenient after a walk. The ice cream concept is cool too blending all the ingredients rather than putting them on top. It makes for an ice cream with toppings throughout and not only on top. The flavor is amazing and the toppings fresh. I definitely recommend this place.

Such a cute ice cream shop. Pick vanilla or chocolate ice cream and then pick from a wall of toppings to mix in. There was a huge line when we went but it moved really fast so dont let that stop you.

Such a disappointing experience. I ordered a chocolate ice cream with black cherry mix in and couldn’t taste even a hint of cherry flavor. And the chocolate ice cream flavor itself left a lot to be desired. Tasted exactly the same as a chocolate frosty from Wendy’s. You would think for this kind of price per ounce, they could afford to add a decent amount of flavor.The pricing doesn’t make sense either. A scoop is $4 and then an extra scoop is $5.50. Only time I ever saw an extra scoop that was more expensive than the first scoop.For those familiar with Coldstone Ice Cream, they implement the mix in ice cream on a much better scale, offer way more flavors, and for a fraction of the cost.Only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the staff was friendly and service was quick.

Worth the wait. Delicious every time! I got raspberry and blackberry with a vanilla base in a waffle cone. Total price was $7.32. The bridge is under construction, but you can still walk across it.

I went with my family to enjoy some ice cream and ended up having HAIR cream. We ordered 4 different small ice cream cups to try different flavors. One of the ice creams had a HAIR on top of it, so I went back right away did not even eat ONE SCOOP because the hair was right on top and I showed it to the manager requesting to get it changed for the same exact thing. The manager Corbin, did not want to replace it. He said that they don’t know where it came from and that I was taking ADVANTAGE of the place by requesting it to be changed where we did not eat even one scoop and I was requesting the same exact product not a different flavor or anything like that. I tried to explain that I do not feel comportable eating something that has HAIR IN IT, would you? I ended up having to purchase the same exact thing because it was for a child. I just think this was very bad customer service which honestly does not reflect all the other reviews I have seen. I hate that I and my family had to experience this and would not recommend this place to anyone. Even 2 clients waiting for their ice cream said the manager was making rhe wrong decision. I have NEVER been to a restaurant where if something nasty is found on your plate it does not get replaced even low end places. I was expecting so much more. Very disappointing.

Excellent customer service and very friendly. They have been here a long time for a reason. The selection of options can be a bit intimidating but they help you through the process. It is scooped hard ice cream that is put in a machine and it ends up like soft serve. You can have it in different cones, cups and shakes or smoothies. They have a bunch of specialty drinks they have formulated but you can always make your own selections.

This place is mediocre - just a popular college student and tourist hang. The reviews inspired us to visit, wish we hadnt. Enjoyed the nearby pedestrian bridge and laughing about our experience at the shop more than eating what they served us. Bunch of college bros serving. One of their friends sauntered in and was chatting behind the counter while we ordered, distracting the staff. I was worried that the ingredients they mix in would be blitzed to smithereens - I was right. The ice cream was sub-par. My husband ordered vanilla with peach and mango. He couldnt taste any fruit. I pretty much had chocolate with pretzel dust hints. Dont waste your time or money here, there are many other spots in this city worth a visit.

I tried the vegan ice cream and it was ok but not also good than I was wishing. The flavors are not very strong and I prefer when the flavors are separated. Specially with a price like that I expected something better. I guess that they are better for the normal ice cream. I think that they should have more vegan choices.

Poor customer service, had residual items from previous order in my ice cream; unable to eat because of food allergies. Worker was rude, didn’t want to refund my money initially. Other customer in line started picking a fight with me and he told me not to speak to his customer like that. Will NOT return. Then he complains to me he wasn’t supposed to work today. Disappointed…….

The ice cream is good, but they got all 5 of our cones / bowls wrong…including the people’s names on each. We had 5 people on the order, and they would call a name but carry a cone instead of a cup ordered + wrong size. I’d ask them what it was, and they wouldn’t know. After the second one happened, I told them I needed to know what I held in my hand so I could get it to the right person since they were calling the wrong names…seemed to go over their head. I was amazed that all 5 were wrong. In addition, we paid $30 for 5 ice creams…and they weren’t even anything that special. Soft serve out of a machine with some mix ins. Granted they have a good location, but the operation is not run well. We waited ~30 minutes after ordering before we finally got it. It looked like they had 6 people in the back, but their output was around 1 cone / bowl every couple minutes

It wasnt bad. Fairly normal for a mix-in ice cream type place. My kids tried the ice cream and they all enjoyed it. I had the sorbet and it wasnt very good. Wouldnt recommend it. The ice cream was fine though.

Not impressed! While visiting Chattanooga, we stopped at this shop for some ice cream. The line was crazy long and the wait was a bit crazy too. I got ice cream in cups for my kids and paid way too much money. I thought they would mix in the candy picked but they didnt. We could only choose from vanilla or chocolate frozen yogurt and add other candy as you desired. Both my kids got gummy worms...which were laid on top before we were called. So I paid $7 for two small kids cups of frozen yogurt with two gummy worms on top. Super disappointing and nothing to write home about...for sure.I did get a Mexican hot chocolate which was great! Id steer away from the ice cream and hit the espresso bar.

Incredible concept, flavors and attention of the best

The ice cream was good, but the service was less than stellar. Took a while to even be noticed and for someone to take my order. They were crowded, which is fine, but the boy who waited on me (looked to be about 14 at most) was very rude. I placed my order and took my daughter outside to the tables they have for their customers. The boy comes outside and asks if Im April. I said yes, and he shoved the ice cream at me and turned to go back inside and said in a very rude tone, You should have stayed inside and grunted. The rude comment was unnecessary.

The quality of the icecream is very good and they have a huge selection of flavors and toppings. The only problem I have with this place is the price. If you dont mind paying a little more than normal this icecream shop is worth checking out.

This boy named Miles was super cute and he was supper nice and explained it very well. He went back and made are ice cream fast and made it supper pretty and delicious 😋. He was fun with the kids and they loved it and it was very sanitary. We then took a long walk on the bridge He definitely needs a raise and I hope to see him again.

When they say they are blending in the toppings the literally mean with the blender, its more mcflurry then cold stone.

We were walking along the Greenway in Chattanooga and stumbled upon this ice cream shop. There are 2 flavors only, chocolate and vanilla, and a choice of ice cream or yogurt. There are a ton of mix ins: fruit, nuts, candies that are .65/each so depending Im with you want, it can get expensive. The flavor is well worth it!

This place was great!!! Plan to spend a little time here. They were busy the day we went, but it was worth the wait. Its a short walk from the TN Aquarium and near the entrance of the pedestrian bridge. Plenty of food options within walking distance, but this is the best ice cream place!!

There was a cockroach crawling across the floor while I was waiting for my ice cream! They have really good frosty paws for dogs and the almond milk milkshakes were good as well!

So many ice cream flavors to choose from! Loved this place and would highly recommend. I went there on a hot summer afternoon while walking at the riverside. Great shop location and friendly staff. Ice cream was delicious and not expensive as well. Go for it!

This place is the bomb when it comes to ice cream and the fixins. They say it has over 17,000 combinations, and I bet theyre right! I had the vanilla ice cream with blueberries and strawberries in it, and it was great the waffle cones are really good too, so I would suggest one of those while youre there. Definitely recommended there in downtown Chattanooga.

Fun that you get to pick your flavors and turn it into a soft serve style cone. Not good if you have allergies since the same machines are used for all orders. Lots of add on to cost-- each flavor added, cone, etc are all extra.

Wonderful place! Great ice cream! I’m happy that they support customer choice. I would like to see that extended to employees and hopefully see smiling faces soon when I visit.

I always come here when I’m on the bridge. Next time you’re there try vanilla base with cake batter, marshmallows, rainbow sprinkles, and sour gummy worms. Trust me it’s bomb

Went there with friends today, the service was a delight the male staff were kind and and top of things they took care of the line that was building up they deserve a pay raise the cute men behind and woman. Yes they were having a fun time at work there NOT servents but cute people too like us, important thing is that they try their best. Love this place because of them keep it up !!!!

My son says the vanilla Butterfinger was the best he ever had...my other son said the straight chocolate had an aftertaste and gives 1.9...my daughter had Oreo vanilla and says pretty darn good and gives a four...I had vanilla, chocolate chip cookie dough and I give a three because Ive had way better...sorry...anyway I rate the bathroom sink a five cause it was awesome and I rate five for having animal ice cream for the fur babies

17,000 flavors? Try 2. 2 flavors. Then add mix-ins like any other ice cream shop that has more than 2 flavors of ice cream. Also the ice cream is very ordinary and way overpriced.

The guy with the short hair that is young, was above and beyond. they got my order wrong. he had such great customer service and went back and it fixed it immediately. he was such a delight and definitely deserves a raise or a promotion. he is the reason i will be coming back!

Product is tasty and sold at a reasonable price point for various toppings. However the ordering system would benefit from a ticket claim style of ordering. The current system allows for orders to be given to incorrect customers.

Our first outing with our new puppy was to the Walnut St. Bridge. We never go downtown as we are not apt to be around people, but it was a beautiful day and we decided to do something different. When we arrived at the other side of the bridge we noticed this little ice cream shop. The line was long, but we saw a sign advertising ice cream for your dog. We decided... Sure! Not sure if it was worth the 30 minute wait, but we thought it was nice they had water bowls outside for the many dogs (we brought our own) and that they had ice cream for pups too!

Get vanilla with dark chocolate & malt.

The ice cream flavors served are only vanilla and chocolate, but they have several lists worth of toppings to mix in. Never disappointed!

The staff are great and the ice cream is the best from the ones Ive tried in town. Its not rock hard like this other well-known ice cream shop weve visited. The two base options are chocolate and vanilla and the topping selection is vast. Pretty simple. The only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is that they still dont have dairy-free ice cream. By this point, most shops have options, even if its just one ice cream base, so thats where they need to step it up.

My pregnant wife and I were in town for a couple days just to get away for our anniversary and we stopped by on a Sunday night. We walked in and a red headed young man on staff approached us and asked if we just walked in. When we said we did, he said “well, the doors were locked.” They clearly weren’t because we just walked in. He then told us they were closed, when we said it was only 9:45, he told us they had a 30 minute wait and walked away. We went down the road and got Ben and Jerry’s and had a much better customer service experience. ✌🏻

Could not detect the flavor added in my ice cream. Just get the chocolate or vanilla and skip the flavorings as there isnt enough to taste added into pay extra for it.

I feel so horrible for the employee that was working. I believe his name was Gerrit. He was so obviously overwhelmed because it was only him working and there was a line out the door. His customer service was out of this world though! He most definitely deserves a raise considering how kind he is and how well he handles such a crazy environment!

My husband and I absolutely love The Icecream Show. Weve had coffee, smoothies, shakes, and icecream filled waffle cones here. Everything is so fresh and delicious! Youve got to stop by and try them out if youre in the area.

This is an amazing ice cremé place. You choose your base, then as many toppings as you want to pay for. They blend it all together, and it is amazing. Definitely something everyone in this city has to try out.

Meh... super overpriced for choosing vanilla or chocolate with mix ins. Mine still tasted like basic chocolate. I think what they have going for them is being at one end of the bridge and being open late.

I went in yesterday, and this tall, sad, blonde kid was working ALL ALONE WITH NO HELP AND HIS ARM WAS BROKEN. what the freck mr. Person who runs the shop. What the freak. This kid looked roughly 15 and the stress of how many things he had to do clearly made him anxious.

Oh my goodness this ice cream was so good I can’t begin to explain how much I enjoyed it!! We went after a long day of hiking with my dog and it was perfect! Great view, great service, great ice cream! Also had live music playing in the square, it was overall a great experience!

Understaffed and slow. Guy at register couldn’t tell me how much more it was to go from the large cup to the xl cup. He asked the other employee, who didn’t know either. Incorrect change given. $6.99, gave a $10, received $1.01 back.
