I ordered chicken and waffles and I thought the food was excellent. The chicken was seasoned well and still juicy inside even though its a smaller cut that could have been overcooked. The bacon cheddar waffle was delicious and the pecan bourbon maple syrup... OMG, that syrup. So damn good! I got a simple coffee that I thought was good. The service was a little slow, but I didnt mind because the staff was very friendly and I had coffee. I also liked the fact that the shopping center was easy to get in and out of with plenty of parking. We went thru some of the stores to walk of the food coma. I would love to eat here again.

Im gluten free and this use to be my favorite place to go out and eat at. Knowing that their kitchen is gluten free and also offer vegan options is so refreshing. But the past couple of months it has gone down hill. The service has gotten worse and they dont even apologize for it. Im not even talking about the slow service, thats understandable. With restaurants being short staffed I totally get it. Its the mess ups, and not acknowledging it. They dont answer their phone and today I found a hair in my food. I tried calling but no one is picking up. This will be my last time eating there.I will say, if you go and dine in, ask to sit with Wes! He always makes us forget about our past experiences there. So friendly and funny.Update: they finally picked up and told me they will refund my money for this inconvenience. Will update my review once I see my refund.

So, my lady lives in Virginia. I live in Dallas. We had no idea the next time we would be coming to Atlanta, so we ordered a bit. I got a waffle and a pancake, some granola and milk, and fruit. She got chicken tenders, bacon, mac and cheese, and we shared the fries. All of her stuff, including the mac n cheese, was gluten free, which is good for her. I had some of the chicken tenders and they were really good. The waffle and pancake are what you expect. If you like eating that stuff youll like these. The fries were good but some werent as seasoned as others and some parts were burnt. Overall, however, the food was quite satisfying, especially when we had no idea how it would taste. The staff was nice as well. They were pretty busy at the time, so make sure you go at the right time because it feels hectic, especially with such a small space that they have. Still, the food is worth trying.

The food was amazing, but I wish I knew if the coffee was. My husband and I both ordered a coffee the first time our waitress came to the table but the coffee never made it. The waitress said a few times she was checking on it, but when we were done with our food and still without coffee she said “sorry, I asked about it but I think he lost the ticket and now he’s working on something else”. My hope for this place is that managers will focus on team building so they’re not losing customers to the Starbucks next door like they did today.

I can understand being short staffed. But I don’t tolerate bad attitudes by wait staff towards their customers. We were there around 1pm 11/3/21. Waited over 20 minutes to have our drink order taken. The deviled eggs were absolutely horrendous and we sent them back… very nasty. After our meal, asked for a slice of Reese’s cake and was brought a carrot cake dated 10/31 (this was 11/3). It was in the wrong place in the cabinet. Another member of our party pointed this out and the waiter had an very pi**y attitude. He said it wasn’t 4 day old cake, that’s just the day it was sliced. And told us that’s all he had to say about it. What? Wow, ok so how old is that slice of cake? Spoke with another waiter who was extremely nice and said he would handle it, and also kudos to the hostess was super nice and helping out where she could. She was wonderful.

This waffle was far from a typical breakfast waffle! It was nice and thick but not too dense. Chicken was perfectly breaded and fried but not saturated in grease. Worth a repeat!

Love this place. The staff is very friendly and accommodates to what you want or need. Their breakfast is really good. They even have a bar here so you can get drinks for brunch. Their chicken and waffles are also pretty good. Could be a little bit cleaner but I really do enjoy coming here

O.M.G! In town for a stop over, visiting a friend, while traveling. She recommended Bantam + Biddy, and I was not disappointed. Though their breakfast all day (after 3 pm) is limited it was still awesome. I had the pancakes with fruit 🍑 🍓. The honey butter and syrup was great. The bacon omg...just all around great. The staff were fantastic. Ask for Emilio! He was super! Personality and recommendations were spot on. Ill be back.

I had breakfast here 2 days this week! The first day I had The cinnamon waffle and it was SO GOOD! 😋 I came back a couple of days later and tried the western omelette! It was just okay, it didnt have quite enough cheese but still pretty good! Taniqua was my waitress and shes a sweetheart! Ill probably be back again next week to try something else! Loved the pancakes; however, chicken wings are not their specialty. Drinks are strong but it seems they have a gnat problem. Server was nice though. Probably wont go back but when I did go it was cool.

OMG awesome vibes so cozy and upbeat...that place is a treasure. From decor and ambiance to the steady influx of patrons and the prompt service by the staff you know the food is all that!

The food was good, staff very inattentive and throwing some tude. In hindsight I regret leaving a tip of 55% thinking it would make someones day better, because I went in with a good mood but couldnt get out of there fast enough.Not sure if something was going on, but they were gossiping at the bar for a really long time while our cups were empty and who knows how long our food sat ready. I tried to listen in, but could only catch bits of info, but it must have been juicy! Almost as juicy as my bacon was!

My boyfriend and I ate breakfast at Bantum & Biddy two mornings in a row, Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday we had the waffles, pancakes and a pitcher of mimosa (they do not skimp out on the champagne, literally a splash of OJ). We sat at the bar on Saturday morning and received service from Alec, he was great, good energy and attentive. On Sunday morning we decided to sit outside on the patio and we ate more pancakes and biscuits and gravy with lots of eggs and everything was still SO GOOD. We had Wes when we dined on the patio and he was nice. Everyone that works there is always willing to help out even if it isnt there table. Everyone checks on you and I love that. Thank you everyone for your wonderful and kind attitudes.

The food was great but the service was bad. I had to wait a couple minutes while the guy that was seating folks finished his personal conversation with a coworker before he came over to seat me. On the way to that seat, a waiter practically ran me over getting to the soda dispenser. Finally seated, I waited 10 minutes till my waiter acknowledged I was there but he was nice and took my order. The food came and he never checked on me again. I finished eating and waited and waited til I finally got up and saw that he was working the bar and apparently forgotten I was there. I asked him to have the check prepared while I went to the restroom. I come back and hes engulfed in his personal conversation talking about California women versus Georgia women with a coworker and I still didnt have the check. Im on the fence as to whether to visit again. I felt like I was an inconvenience the entire time I was there.

Somehow I have failed to review this place, though my husband and I ADORE this restaurant and eat there any time we get the chance.Pros:•Gluten-free, fried food that is Celiac safe because of a dedicated fryer.•All their sides are gluten-free (though the macaroni and cheese is a little underwhelming in my personal opinion, all of the fried options make up for it and then some.)•Goat cheese with fried green tomatoes is wonderful. Who knew?•The spicy chicken strips are drive-two-hours-to-eat-there worthy. I love them with the creole mayo, and my husband loves the wasabi honey. And they arent so much spicy as they are flavorful with almost a sweet flavor (it doesnt fight with the sauce flavors though). Once we got them one time we never went back to the others.•Great service.Cons:•Eventually youve eaten all of the food and there is no more.•The outdoor pickup area is hard to maintain social distance in if theres a line.•There isnt space inside for larger parties, so if you want to invite 10 of your closest friends to eat the best food on earth with you, it might be difficult to accomplish.Basically, go to this place. Its amazing food.

Stopped by yesterday and ordered Friday night fried Fish special and Fried chicken sandwich for dinner. Dont judge me and my fried food.Anyway, my wife said the chicken sandwich was ok but this is a pic of the fish special. Fries were small and cold and the fish was pretty pathetic. Didnt feel like $15 worth of fish and chips or $33 for two sandwiches.

Very good food. Casual, self-seating hip little eatery. Cocktails are great too. Portions are perfect and the prices are right. Definitely a good place to grab good food quickly when your meandering about Atlantic Station.

We were in town for the weekend. My daughter has celiacs. They were very accommodating. The food and service were excellent. To put it in a nut shell. We were only in town for 3 days and we are there twice. That should say something. Keep up the great work!!!

My partner and I are gluten free and have struggled to find quality gluten free options in ATL. But this place was great! We both got the spicy chicken tenders with the Mac n cheese. This is the BEST gluten free mac n cheese I’ve had, and the chicken is great too! Not quite spicy enough for my taste but their wasabi honey sauce makes up for it. My only complaint is that I had to call a few times before they picked up to take my order, but with short staffing nowadays I can’t be upset about that. I’m excited to try the rest of their menu!

Out of town tourist. First time ever here. Staff greeter us and were super nice. Great atmosphere. Pictures of the food looked amazing. Almost $100 of food for 4 of us. 2 sandwiches, 2 fries, wings, and tenders. Chicken was very dry and no flavor. There was nothing amazing about this food. Not worth the money. Really wanted to love the food.

I had dinner her was very pleased! The fried green tomatoes, vegetarian chili, collards, green beans, garlic spinach, and mac n cheese were all delicious. The service was excellent!

Great location in the middle of it all. The service was decent and the food was okay. Portion sizes of the entrees was good, although the sides were smaller than expected. Our group was about 90% dissatisfied with the bland food taste. Many food locations to try. Well see what other restaurants we can discover on our next trip.

My first time in Alpharetta/Atlanta a couple of yrs ago and I had heard the chicken & waffles here were good. They were actually really good. I would definitely go back. It’s on my list for sure! I do recall the service was excellent as well.

First off there were pride flags everywhere which made us feel very welcome during our road trip in the South *and* as someone with a gluten allergy it was a VERY big deal to find delicious **gluten free buttermilk fried chicken**! Sit outside for peak people watching. Heres what we ordered:1) Fried Chicken Sandwich lettuce, bread & butter pickles,Creole mayo on potato bun — *Ask for GF!* Its huge btw!!2) Fried Green Tomatoes with fresh goat cheese — V&GF3) A few adult beverages :)Enjoy!

Really enjoyed all the items I tried during my first visit to Bantam & Biddy. I ordered quite a few things to get a feel for the menu. The pancake was soooo good. Eggs light and fluffy. I didnt really eat the okra and pimento cheese on the plate... Seemed like an odd pairing.In any case, the service was a little slow but I enjoyed the patio and everyone was friendly. Go try it and enjoy!

The food was good and they had TONS of GF options for my wife who had zero issues of cross contamination. Everything fried is gluten free - even the fried green tomatoes. She was in heaven.

The service is fast, the food however wasnt hot and the sauses offered with the waffles and chicken arent the best. My favorite item of the things that my group ordered were the sweet potato fries. The chicken wings were not as crispy as the menu suggested.

I requested a avocado , tomato, cheddar sandwich with poached eggs (not on the menu). With a side order of salmon. Service was slow however , once our waiter came both food & service was impeccable. Their Greek salad was really good. The salmon was cooked was to perfection! The prices are more than reasonable for the value of what they deliver. Pop in for a healthy , filling meal.

Sticky table, no silverware, dry and rather flavorless fried chicken. Their cheddar waffle is pretty much a culinary abomination. Visited here after a few years absent from Atlanta and I was gravely disappointed I made the mistake of ordering their chicken and waffles.Orange juice was quite good I drank that happily.

Bantam + Biddy is an Atlanta favorite. Their fried chicken is naturally gluten free, and absolutely delicious. Their sweet potato fries are to die for! Their menu is clearly marked for allergens, making it a very friendly restaurant for those with specific dietary needs.The service is amazing as well. Theyre always busy, but Ive always been able to get a seat right away despite that. Any trip to Atlanta has Bantam + Biddy time built into the itinerary.

Maybe the best chicken and waffles anywhere! We tried both the cheddar waffles and the pecan banana and both were out of this world. The chicken is freshly prepared and the perfect waffle companion. Outstanding service as well!

Staff are incredible - attentive, friendly, and kind. Super rare find in the airport culinary scene. Plus, collards and okra before I leave the south is 100% the right taste in my mouth. And very affordable to boot - $9 for four sides and cornbread.

Definitely recommend the creme brûlée latte! I love that you can order certain breakfast plates all day. We had the southern breakfast plate with fried okra stalks, scrambled eggs with cheese, jalapeño cornbread and creamy grits. The only reason I’m giving four stars is the pancake I ordered was doughy on the top layer and not fully cooked. FYI there is ample parking and the wait is about half an hour at noon on a Sunday.

Oh my goodness what a hidden gem! Went for lunch/brunch (was headed to Panera but its closed) this was the best and pleasant surprise. Had the Salmon and toasted brussel sprouts. Both cooked to perfection. I want some now! There service was excellent and they have indoor outdoor seating. You wont be disappointed especially when disappointment has become the restaurant norm. I always wanted to visit this Restaurant...I dont know what I was expecting... The Customer Service wasnt excellent the energy was very low. To My Surprise The Kale Salad 🥗 wasnt Kale at all. I was very disappointed ☹️ but the Chicken Stew and Jalapeno Corn bread was delicious!The Customer Service Rep. Went to get the Manager. The Manager came to table I explained my disappoint to him and he was very Friendly, Courtesy and offered to remove the Salad from the Bill... I will Return for another try ☺️

I wanted to give this place a try. We were seated by the host and after sitting and waiting for 5 mins with no greeting, menu, or any interaction, my son (whom I carried in in a heavy car seat and was never offered a high chair, I had to get up an assist myself with) and we left shortly after. UPDATE 08/13/2021:Wife came in alone the other night and was given horrible service. Why do white patrons always get better service than us black patrons...? This place was my wifes and I SPOT, guess now we must find somewhere else to dine where we will be treated w/ respect and not judged because of our skin color. Table of 4 who sat in front of her was told the specials, greeted promptly, and regularly checked on. We dont like to under tip so we just wont return. Her chicken was undercooked as well hence the photos had she been checked on, issue may have been able to be resolved.There food is always amazing! I LOVE the strawberry fields cocktail & the quinoa & spinach side dish is mu favorite. Cant wait to eat here again Friday!! LOL

One of my co-workers is gluten intolerant, excellent menu for both of us, I had no idea all of the batter is gluten free. Ive been eating here for years, hes a new customer for life.

The menu focuses on gluten free and vegan palettes, the 3 egg omelette with spinach and goat cheese was out of this world. Sitting patio with music ceiling fans and passersbys made for a very satisfying experience. The staff was very friendly and busy ensuring customer satisfaction and cleanliness, there were no dirty tables left unattended. This is a must visit if for anyone.

Great local option in a sea of chains. A bit pricey, but my money goes towards local businesses, so its a good cause. Happy to spend an extra 20% and support local farms and coffee roasters. Big fan

The service was great. They have the very popular chicken and waffles. While I’ve never heard of this - they put cheese in their waffles. You can also get bacon which I did, but the cheese does change the texture of the waffle a bit. I will go back but I will not purchase the waffles. I didn’t take a picture of my food.

The Mac and cheese was disgusting the pic online is baked and their collard greens taste like baby food definitely not worth the price.

One of my go-tos for early morning hangover food. The protein skillet with goat cheese and spicy tenders is amazing. Its a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Love that everything is gf (but the waffle 😭) . If you have a gluten challenged person in your life take them here to relive their deep fried days

I had the chicken n waffles. I absolutely love the cheddar waffle. I didnt realize I would get chicken straps. I prefer chicken wings, but didnt think to check when ordering. However, the chicken strips were very good. Go see for yourself. Thank me later.

The breakfast here is pretty good. And the capuchinos are the best.

The staff was wonderful. The chicken and vegetables with a biscuit as great. The chicken is all natural, vegetables are very fresh and the spices are very good. The cheddar biscuit was wonderful to soak up the broth and very tasty.I ask about bring my own carry out containers. Its easier to heat up and they had no problem with me doing it. Its a great way to keep stuff from going into the landfill.
