Judi was a delight to work with. She did a better job of explaining the changes to my vision and how the changes impact my prescription than the doctor who wrote the Rx. As always, the whole staff were cheerful and very helpful. Cant wait to get my new glasses.

This was the best experience I have had buying glasses. Jeff was great and got me started finding the sunglasses that suited me and my needs. He was super friendly and put me at ease. The Judi helped me decide to try blue light reducing glasses and immediately found the exact pair that was the style, color, and size that was right for me. I was never rushed and was treated so well. I will tell everyone to go see them. It was the best!

Lenscrafters has knowledgeable and experienced staff and a nice collection of frames that are well made and attractive. Judith happened to help me complete my selection. She had helped me years before and even happened to remember the glasses were by Tori Burch when most of the info was worn away. Judi seems like a nice caring person, interested in helping me find glasses that feel comfortable on my face and enhance rather than detract from my look. Glasses can be as effective as make-up, which I dont wear, to give your face some color, spice or an artistic expression of who you are as a person. It was nice to talk to Judith and get her help.

Went there yesterday because I accidentally laid-down on my glasses and bent the frame pretty badly. Cameron, the assistant manager, greeted me and made sure to get my frames taken care of and even tightened some parts that were getting loose. All of this was done for free even though my glasses were 2+ years old and were NOT bought at Lenscrafters. The whole process took 10 minutes and I was out the door with my glasses feeling brand new.

Just got my glasses and am so happy with them and the experience. Judi was super helpful and knowledgeable. I was interested in getting some oversized frames and was able to use a pair of their sunglasses as my regular glasses frames, which I hadn’t considered an option before. Scott and Judi were great!! Got there 1 minute before closing. Scott was approaching the door to close and saw me walking towards the door. Waited and asked me if he could help me. I told him that I had damaged my glasses and that the frames were bent and one lens had popped out. He looked at the glasses and said “I think I can fix them for you”. I was going out of town in 3 days so I was in a panic, thinking I was going to be without my glasses for the trip. Scott went into the back of the store and about 10 minutes later he reappeared and said “all fixed”. He had straightened the frames and reinstalled the lens! This all happened after closing time! Wonderful service!!

I went in on August 19th in need of a repair for my broken glasses. In 20 minutes I received replacement frames and repair service that got me new glasses, fast service, and an incredible experience. I am not one to usually leave reviews, although the employee helping me, Cameron Hensly, offered me some of the best customer service I have ever seen. He told me that due to covid-19, many people are unaware that this store is open and operating, but I can attest that this store is an incredible place to shop for glasses, with a diverse selection and employees who serve without any indication of pushiness or driving for sales. Thanks to my help from Cameron, I expect to go to this Lenscrafters every time I need help with my glasses, new or old. I cannot emphasize enough how nice and helpful the staff is, and thanks to them (and particularly Cameron), Lenscrafters has earned my loyalty as a customer. The Lens Crafters team located in Fashion Square is superb! The warm greeting, patience, stylish feedback from the entire team (i.e., Cynthia, Hailey, and Cameron) helped to make shopping for new frames such a pleasant experience. A bonus was the turnaround time for picking up my frames (i.e., the first frame ready for pick up in 24 hours and the second frame prepared in seven days). I cant recommend this shop enough!

I had a great experience at the Charlottesville LensCrafters today. I got a full eye exam and had my first pair of glasses in hand, all in under 3 hours! The associates were extremely friendly and nice to work with. Charles Dowell made my lenses and did a phenomenal job. He was quick and had fantastic customer service.

My glasses kept falling off so I stopped in at the LensCrafters at the Fashion Mall in Charlottesville, VA. The very pleasant and professional woman who adjusted my glasses did not charge me anything for her work! She said that the staff always adjust glasses for free. What a change!

My glasses ended up breaking late Saturday evening. It was quite troublesome, but I called Lenscrafters and Cameron answered the phone. He told me to come right on in and they could see if they could get me new frames for my lenses. I was able to get my brand new frames and keep enjoying my weekend thanks to the dedicated service I received from him! I am grateful for all he did!

I purchased one pair of eyeglasses and one pair of sunglasses from this local Lenscrafter store. For eyeglasses I ordered polycarbonate with all possible enhancements like antireflective and blue light filter which made me to pay $330 just for a pair of lenses.After only a couple of days a weird stain (size of about 2mm) appeared on one len of eyeglasses which cannot be removed. Another stains on both lenses appeared after that. After a couple of weeks these stains and scratches were all over my lenses (see attached photos) even though I only use lens cleaning cloth and lens moisture pads that I got from lenscrafter. Finally, I could not see through these lenses unless I got a bad headache. So, I stopped using them. I should mention that I have been wearing eyeglasses since I was 5 years old and now I am 35. I have used at least 30 pairs of eyeglasses and less sunglasses. I have never ever experienced such issue before. Currently, I am using an eyeglasses that I got from Warby Parker two years ago and another one from Costco four years ago which are by far less expensive than this Lenscrafter one. None of them have a single stain or scratches on lenses. Moreover, I bought a pairs of Ray Ban sunglasses with prescription lenses at same time from lenscrafter but the lens was made by RayBan and shipped to this store and this one also does not have any problem.I checked with other optic stores and all of them believe such damage is impossible to be made by human (even by a kid) in this short period of time. I also absolutely don’t use any chemical product (such as hair product).So, I stopped by store twice. First time was right after first stain in July. The staff asked me if I have bought a protection plan, if not, we can not do anything for you unless you pay $330 again. Second time after the stains got spred all over lenses, I went there again.She told me you should have been using a chemical like (hair product) which causes such massive damage and since you have not purchased one year protection plan we can not help you. As I explained above, if it is the case why this chemical does not affect the Ray ban lenses which I bought from Lenscrafter at same time or on any other eyeglasses that I have been wearing for years.I am sure that this product is defected or (hopefully I am wrong) they are delivering very poor quality lenses instead of $300 lenses they charged customer for.I will never purchase anything from lenscrafter not because this specific problem but also because of very poor and disrespectful customer service which I have never experienced with any other store. I also called the main lenscrafter customer service several times. Every time they told me someone from local store will call you which never happened.

Was @ Len Crafters in Charlottesville Fashion Square Mall browsing.. Stopped in LC to inquire about getting a long overdue eye exam..to my surprise they had an available appointment today..The staff from the front desk, assistant and Dr. Cioara were very friendly and knowledgeable in there perspective duties..After my office visit I encountered a pleasant experience in the LC store when I purchased my glasses.. although Ms. Judith was my salesperson, all of the staff were very friendly and acknowledge me and conversated..Ms. Judith explained my prescription and assisted me in picking out my frames..she was thorough..Job well done . Cant wait to sport my glasses..SJ 4/2/21

I went with the doctors prescription. Wow!. For a simple reading glass requirement, they gave me a quote for $750+! They were so clever in talking you into how great their quote is. All I needed is a simple glass to overcome difficulty reading up close and they try to sell up a progressive lens for $750+! So after insurance co-pay, my out-of-pocket expense was to be $400+!Luckily I asked around and people I had asked said that the quote was ridiculously high and I was told to go to Americas Best. Guess what? I got the glasses for $25 after insurance payment.NEVER EVER GO BUSINESS WITH THEM. They will just try to sell things you do not really need.

My glasses were ruined and I had no spare. LC was able to replace my glasses the same day! I was very impressed and happy and thankful!

Would have liked to have more sales associates available to serve the waiting customers; I waited a half hour before I could be served for new glasses. But the service I finally received from Cynthia was very top notch!

I dropped my oakley Rx Flak Jackets at work which broke the tab holding in the lens. I called LensCrafters and gave the associate my information to order new lens to include my payment for the warranty. Two weeks later, I went in to check on my lens and I find out that they were never even ordered at all. These are my work glasses for surgery btw. I give the associate my information again and he agreed to pay the warranty fee for me for the mishap. I asked him if they wanted to send my frames in to Oakley and they said no. Another two weeks later, I show up to drop off the frames to have the lenses put in that they received. I came back 3 hours later and was told that the frames needed to sent it to have the lenses put in by Oakley. I was upset by this and told them that I needed my glasses for work. Basically there was nothing I could do except have my frames sent to oakley with the new lenses to wait another 2 weeks or more. I said that because of what they told me that they should foot the bill for my warranty payment , which they said they could not do despite their delaying my getting my glasses back. I am not happy with the service and excuses. They should have taken my frames when I offered them to them the first time, but instead tried to blame me.

- you need more employees. Yesterday, there were 8 customers, a constant ringing phone, and 2 employees. We waited 30minutes.- the reason I came yesterday was because the spring in my arm came loose. The representative stated that it couldnt be fixed and the only solution was to buy a new pair. Not interested in spending $200+ on a new pair, I went to Walmart. The eye person at Walmart said no, you dont need a new pair, its an easy fix. And in 5minutes he repaired the spring.I gave 1 star because I dont appreciate your representatives approach to my problem. If she didnt have time, then she could have suggested coming at a later time. If she didnt know how to fix it, then say that. But to tell me my only option was to spend $200 was disappointing and makes me hesitant to come back the next time I have a problem.

I went back to LensCrafters after several years of making do with glasses from Costco or Walmart, and I am so glad I did! Judi helped me pick out frames (both glasses and sunglasses) that flattered my face shape, and helped make sure they fit exactly right before nice I picked them up. Great service, and worth the slightly higher price point for someone who wears glasses all day every day.

Back to back experiences that have made me shop elsewhere for eye-wear. If you like an unprofessional attitude, heavy sighs, aggravated looks, and a complete lack of engagement when trying to rectify a problem, come here and ask for Chrissy. I have since purchased glasses from an online retailer at a cost about 1/3 of what I paid here (over $300) and am awaiting their arrival.

I purchased glasses for my son here a few months ago, and returned recently to purchase sports goggles for soccer. The manager working told me that they don’t carry them and referred me to her personal eye doctor’s office. I then went online and found lots of options. I went back to LensCrafters and asked for my son’s prescription and pupillary distance so that I could order the sports glasses. They refused to give me the pupillary distance, which is necessary to purchase glasses online. The employee told me I could measure it myself using an online tool. I have had glasses myself for a very long time, and have experienced incorrect lenses that caused many problems because of an inaccurate self-measured pupillary distance.This is a terrible business practice to refuse to give a customer their PD when they don’t carry the item needed.I will never purchase anything from LensCrafters again based on this very poor customer service.VisionWorks and Spectacle Shop are both great options with amazing customer service!

The lady that helped me find the pair of glasses and measure them on me was great. The lady I picked my glasses up from was very nice.BUT I ordered transition lenses. Was told I could have them the same day so I went in Saturday and got them. Sunday after working outside for several hours I saw that my glasses hadnt transitioned at all. I called and spoke to a lady that said they could add the transition to the lenses. Told me to come in and they will be fixed.Today I drive over to lenscrafters and the nice lady I met the Saturday tells me they cant add it in, that its a completely different lens.The people in the back need to do their job better because now I have to wait with glasses I paid for that arent correct until they order the lenses, shipping, drive back over to give them the frames so they can put what I paid for the first time in.Mind you I live 30 mins away, so its wonderful using my gas for other people mistakes
