My old iPhone6 was on the last gasps of its battery and I needed to get it replaced ASAP. My previous experience was at Apples Richmond store and it took 4 hours before I could get it back and that was with an appointment made 2 days earlier. And 2+ hours for the round trip.I googled for IPhone repairs in Cville, called Mr Fix and got Patrick on the line. He told me to bring it in now and it would be $50 for the battery and labor and take an hour.Patrick was very friendly and certainly knew what he was doing. No hassles, no delays and I came back in 60 minutes and it was all done. In fact he put some charge on the phone so I could check it out.Id certainly use this shop again and highly recommend it. Patrick at Mr.Fix was phenomenal. Not only did they answer their phone immediately, they were able to give me the correct amount for how much the work would cost and they were able to fix my iPhone that same day within an hour. My phone was run over, screen cracked, frame bent; took it to two other places and was told it was beyond repair. Patrick at Mr. Fix was able to bend the frame back and replace the screen and even as a gratuity replaced my broken charging port and it works like new again. I’ve been to this shop several times in the past month… took my phone initially because there was issue charging. They said my port needed to be cleaned. Did that. Phone lasted literally a week. $25Took it back: now say I need new charging port and battery. With no updates, I had to call several times to check in over a week what was going on. $145Picked up the phone and They broke my vibration motor. Had it home for only an hour and it shut off after 2 minutes of consistent use. They said they Ordered a replacement vibrator and broke that one too… they said they needed to sauter a part and that the phone would need to be sent off and the cost an additional $150 to what I’ve already spent.I told them forget it and I picked it up with the phone on 0% with a brand new battery… I requested a refund and was reimbursed -$75 for “labor”Went to an ifixit shop and they opened it in front of me to find the wrong type of battery in the phone with wrong size screws that did not fit for connection and the very damaged vibrator motor and connector to it…Went back to the Mr. fixit for them to get the proper battery. Phone is currently working but WITHOUT vibration. As a business that damaged my property this full service should have been free. They did not even offer to fix it again after damaging the new vibrator motor they supposedly ordered to fix my original they damaged.They apologized but I feel they are not as knowledgeable or professional.Way too much back and forth for what should have been a simple fix.

My Iphone 11 pros GPS stopped working literally immediately after getting my screen replaced. It was one of the worst nightmares Ive ever experienced in my life. They refused to refund and insisted it was an apple issue, but Ive had all sorts of iphones for 10+ years and NEVER had a gps issue EXCEPT for literally the moment after getting my screen replaced here. Hard to believe a bad coincidence of that magnitude.Patrick said come back in a couple days to try a new screen to see if that would fix the solution (Tuesday), but when I called in he wasnt in that day. Not cool.

I’ve been to numerous places to get my screen replaced and here by far has been the worst. They botched my screen replacement that cost $300 and could not replace my screen under their life time warranty or give me a refund. I’ve wasted so much money and would highly recommend anyone looking at this place to go literally anywhere else!

I had Dom move over my PC to another case. Im not a huge computer guy, however Dom was extremely knowledgeable and I learned a lot about my computer from my conversation with him. The service was fast, affordable, and really good quality. Not only was my PC completely cleaned, he also replaced a broken wire to my hard drive with the service. I took my phone in to replace my screen which cost me over two hundred dollars and they left the dust and dirt on the camera so I went back to clean the camera which they said would be free but was NOT free . When I came back to pick it up they did not give me my phone back because THEY broke it and finally after three weeks I had to call and ask for my phone even though they said ONE week it would be ready. When I went in they had me there for hours looking to see who could of stole my phone which ended up not stolen but they did mention that has happened in the past. Finally after getting my phone back I realized they did NOT clean my camera which I paid for and told me never to come back. What horrible people and management sucks not to mention the sexual harassment I went through .

I appreciate that he didn’t try to upsell to a more expensive battery. His price was less than his competitors’ - we checked beforehand.Good location; plenty around there to see or restaurants to pop into if you need to waste an hour or two.And of course they follow covid policies- masks, wiping down your phone before handoff, etc.Will be a return customer ourselves. & will be recommending this locale to friends/family.

I have three teenagers. Each of them has an iPhone X or XI. Needless to say, I have had occasion to get a screen or two repaired. 🤷‍♂️Mr. Fix It is extremely reasonably priced with excellent service! Many times you can grab a bite to eat on the downtown mall and your device is ready by the time you’re finished eating. Their price to replace an iPhone X screen is cheaper than my insurance deductible through AT&T. Give them a look the next time you need help with a device, it’ll be well worth it!
