I wouldnt trust these clowns to service a hot wheels car. If you have a service done that requires your wheels be taken off, take your car to another shop afterwards and have them check your wheel torque, because your lugs will NOT be torqued here. If they offer you a brake fluid flush, dont do it. Theyll drain maybe the rear brakes at best, and wont even touch the front, but theyll charge you for the entire job. The express techs have literally no formal training and have no clue what theyre doing.

She has maintained a great relationship with our family even after our purchase. Three months later we came back with a problem with the car and she assisted us with getting an appointment for service and with our warranty information. Better yet, she even remembered who we were. I bought two new volkswagens from Volkswagen South this year and I purchased the Platinum tire and wheel warranty for both vehicles . I had a flat tire and the tire could not be repaired so I took it back to the dealer. I called a head of time and they said to bring it in. I arrived at VW South and they took my car back and returned shortly saying they didn’t have the tire in stock they could order it from the warehouse and it’ll be in the next day after 12:00 pm. Granted my vehicle tire was not going to wait another day. The service manager called VW Hendricks in Concord and they had a tire. They blew my tire up and I went to Hendricks VW, well when I arrived the service tech attitude was nasty, I explained to him about the tire and why I was there. He instantly called the service manager at VW South asking what kind of warranty I am suppose to have on my tires. He then called someone else and then told me I didn’t have that kind of coverage on my tires. Then he was very impatient with me and I had to pay 281.00$ for one tire Mount and Balance for 50.00$ I was very upset the Service after the sale was so terrible and the employees at both dealers were so impatient and nasty. Neither dealerships were busy either.

Clean showroom, service on car was clean, no mess left (oil, grease ect... white car). Service was average at best. Service time and communication was absolutely atrocious. With a scheduled appointment for an oil change late morning arriving 15 minutes early for appointment, was told it would take less than an hour. I chose to wait, an hour is not unacceptable. The oil change took them 3 hours to complete. When asked at the 1hr 15min mark, was told I will look into it, when asked at the 2hr mark, was told we are really busy right now, should be done soon. When asked again finally at just shy of 3hr mark stating that I would like my vehicle now, I will just take it somewhere else, was told let me check on it then, told it will be done in a few minutes . They finally called me up right at the 3hr mark (not 3hrs being there, 3hrs after service appointment time, in total spent 3hrs 15min at this dealership. Final excuse was sorry it took so long, we are 9 technicians short today. First of all this could have been conveyed via phone call early in morning explaining that the service would now take much longer than expected due to staffing issues. Worst case I could have been told this after my 40 minute drive upon arriving at the dealership. Definitely unacceptable service times, communication and apparently major staffing issues (which should be expressed to customers prior to scheduling appointments, not only via service center website but, especially when calling on the phone). I would have left a 1 star if the car was left a mess in any way.

Been living in Charlotte for almost 4 years and always take my VW here.The service is spot on. They do a great job taking care of your car and telling you what needs to be fixed without selling you on something you don’t. I had 4 tires sent here and they didn’t mind. Changed them no problem and didn’t care it wasn’t the tires they recommended. Same with a battery when my car needed it replaced.They have a shuttle service and a nice waiting area where you can do work should you decide to wait on your car.Adam is fantastic to work with and is patient despite all my questions. He provides good customer service and I would recommend him to others. He could have oversold me on a service, but didn’t and looked up when that service was last done so I had it for my records.

No games or tricks. I drove from Raleigh (165 miles) to buy a GTI from this dealership. Mo was transparent and upfront about the car, pricing and terms. To make sure I didnt waste my time or gas driving out, Mo worked with me to exchange details via text and had the paperwork ready when I arrived. Although the sales team were clearly busy on the last day of the month, Mo was efficient and attentive. He kept me informed throughout the process and checked to insure I didnt have any unanswered questions. Alex in the Finance department was also friendly, efficient and easy to work with. I was in and out the door faster than any previous car buying experience at a dealer.

I had a good experience while I was there. The waiting area is well equipped with desks, chairs, WiFi, and refreshments area. Only issue I had was a part that was broken on my car during service. I have reached out to have the issue resolved, but of course I got the runaround. I’ve left a voicemail message and have not received a call back, I am very upset about this. I hope that they will do the right thing and fix my car!

Great sales person, we worked with Chris. What I didnt like is their finance person who worked on our paperwork to sign. No communication about the rates or monthly payments prior to signing the final papers, so when we asked him about about the interest rates we are getting with 800+ credit - we were told 3.7% when thats not the lowest rate available out there. So, beware and ask questions before you sign anything. We got 0% eventually.

Love the car I purchased, but as we were getting ready to leave, we discovered that there was an issue with the air conditioning and it needed to stay overnight with services. The services team was amazing and got everything fixed immediately! The sales team I worked with was not too communicative about what was happening with the car but eventually they were able to deliver it to our house. The Tiguan is amazing, but overall it could have been a better experience if the communication had been better.

I try to avoid coming to this dealership if at all possible. The customer service is a disappointment most of my visits. The staff is rude and not friendly. I often leave feeling like they don’t value me as a customer and helping me or working on my car is a burden.Thankfully, I have found a mechanic that works on VW’s and other European cars. Happy to never have to return to this dealership again.

It’s hard to explain how I feel about the service department… Have you ever been somewhere and you just feel black!?! No matter if I have an appointment or just a drive up, I never feel welcome. I’m not sure… I spoke with a manager today about how I felt and his response was we have black employees…So that should trump how I feel!?! All I could do was leave. I scheduled an appointment at the service shop and dropped my car off at 730am and didn’t hear anything until I called at 4pm. The mechanics didn’t try to identify the cause of my rough idle and instead gave me a list of possible solutions including a complete fluid change for over $300 and a decarbonation for over $1000. My car is under 50K miles and not even five years old so a decarbonation is not necessary according to the VW guidelines and I had my fluids changed less than a month ago- which they didn’t even check, just threw it on the suggested service to get the easy money.The only reasonable solution they provided was a coil and spark plug change-still early for suggested VW timeline but wanted to charge over $750. Googled the parts kit which cost less than $300. $550 in labor for a couple hours of work is crazy anywhere.Since the scam was clear, I paid the $150 fee for this service only to find they added a $20 “parts” fee. When I called to see what parts were changed or used, they informed me it was a standard fee for disposal- but nothing was disposed during this simple inspection that took them over 8 hours to complete without any real potential solution provided.Summary: like the Huntersville location VW in Charlotte is nothing more than a slimy auto dealer with a fancy name. Avoid them or waste your money on scams.

We had just left Savanah GA when our car started to acting up. My wife googled for a vw dealer near us.the first one that showed up was vw of South Charlotte. We limped our car to the dealership and pulled in. The service manager came out and asked what the problem was. Explained to him that we where heading home and what the problem was. He was very understanding and within a hour had our car in the shop and the technician was working on it. He kept us updated on the progress and offered their shuttle service to go get lunch. I cannot say enough good things about this dealership and the service manager, within a few hours we where back on the road heading home. Again I am very grateful for this manager and dealership!!!

I’ve been taking my VW Beetle in for service for several years. I keep going back because of the great service. Yesterday I went for a NC State Inspection because I wanted a 5:00 appointment and not one garage within 15 minutes of my home could accommodate this time slot. I was there for less than 30 minutes! Checked in, went for a walk and 20 minutes later I received a message that my car was done. Went back to pay and that was it!

Greeted by one salesman, walked inside and immediately passed to a sales lady. Tge sales lady brought back an offer of sale, which I immediately took notice of being higher than should be. When I asked about the high price, the sales lady went back into the office. A man from the office then came over to speak to us, this was the 3rd person. The sales lady disappeared, and 5 minutes later I noticed her with a different customer. In the meantime, I was told the price was high because vehicles were marked up because of a vehicle inventory shortage fee. I quickly asked, so you are punishing your customers because you are having trouble with YOUR inventory? I was told that they could do nothing about tge extra fees at that time. When I decided to leave, the gentleman convinced me to wait a few minutes. He went and got his GM, who asked what he could do to make a deal that day. I told him to bring me his absolute best offer. He brought the offer, and sure enough still included the inventory shortage fee. The vehicle was priced $5000 over original sticker. You drive that off the lot and you are in the hole for value depreciation like all new cars when bought, plus an extra $5000! We obviously left without a purchase as it was evident they did not care about us as a customer at all. You treat customers that way, they will not return once they figure out what you have done to them.

I called after I left work to see if the service dept was even open, and after several transfers I ended up on the phone with a girl whom 1) didn’t seem to be able to hear half of what I was saying 2) seemed totally put out to have to make me an appointment with the service department the next morning 3) who knows if she even scheduled it correctly.I took a shot in the dark and drove directly to the dealership. Ian, Brandon, & a handful of other fellas were happy to help me...again mind you, it was nearing closing time for them. They pulled my car into the bay to test my battery I’d had to jump start twice that day already. *battery was dead* At this point I was ready to drop it off & pick it up again after my shift the next day. BUT these guys were AMAZING! They weren’t having any of it. They insisted they could/would take care of my car right then and there so I didn’t have to make yet another trip. Brandon, realizing I am a nurse said, “You’ve got more important things to handle”. In the time it took for me to sit down & text my husband what was going on, Brandon was back to let me know my car was ready! I can’t thank these guys enough!! They really did make an exhausting day end on a stress free note. THANK YOU FELLAS FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!! 🥰

Usually one has to wait to get a service appointment but they had one readily available and had the parts in house. What a treat! In the service department I have mostly worked with Juerg for the last few years. He is always straight-forward, practical, trustworthy and helpful. I recently bought a 2018 VW Tiguan from a large used car dealer. 2months later I had a leak in sun roof. I took it to Volkswagon of South Charlotte to get repaired. To my surprise I was told by salesman Joerg that VW had extended their warranty. Also there had been a recall for the sun roof which previous owner had not responded to. They repaired the sun roof, replaced carpeting and insulation underneath. There was no charge for the repairs. Joerg gave me a loaner car while repairs were being done within 15 minutes of being there. He was extremely pleasant and professional! I couldn’t have had a better experience! Will definitely use this dealer for my next VW! Have already recommended them to friends.

This vehicle was actually the fourth car I have purchased at Volkswagen of South Boulevard. That alone should tell you all you need to know about the people, the cars, and the service at this dealership. Yes there was a little give and take on the final cost, but then again, that is part of the fun. Never was “sold” or felt the slightest hint of being pushed into a decision I was not ready to make. Each of the four purchases were done with a relaxed atmosphere and each person involved in the process was a pleasure to meet and work with. If and when a new car is needed, I know we will start at Volkswagen of South Boulevard

Went to get a tire rotation and oil change there. Drove home afterwards and a lot of noise coming from the axle area and a shaky steering wheel. I did have an Audi worked on there but still didn’t expect this.

HORRENDOUS SERVICE DEPARTMENT. Ive taken my vehicle to VW of South Charlotte four times now and each experience has been very poor. My first two appointments were for routine oil changes, each of which took more than 2 hours even with an appointment scheduled days in advance. I brought my vehicle in for a third visit after my check engine light came on. I had requested a service loaner as the car is a year old and still under warranty. Upon arrival I was told to wait a few minutes as they took a quick look in case it was a minor issue they could quickly fix. I waited for 2 hours before the service rep came to tell me that I had a misfire in one of the cylinders and then I was told to wait longer as they took it for a test drive. ANOTHER hour passed and the rep came back to tell me that all 4 cylinders were now misfiring and they would have to keep the car. ANOTHER 30 mins passed before they finally found a service loaner. No apologies for the wait time but I was certainly reminded at least 3 times to make sure the fuel tank was full when I returned the loaner. They ended up keeping my car for 3 days, test drove it for 30 MILES! and told me they ultimately couldnt find anything wrong and that it seemed to fix itself and was running fine! Strange but the car is running fine. Complete waste of time and total lack of empathy from staff. Just this morning I brought my car in again for diagnosis of a rubbing noise which sounds like a wheel bearing and once again requested a service loaner a day in advance. Guess what...no service loaner available upon arrival!!! I need a loaner because my work schedule is extremely fluid due to the nature of our production schedule I cant rely on the hours of their shuttle service. Once again, no apology just a response of well we dont have a loaner now and Enterprise isnt open yet. I can call you when the shuttle is available. Maybe I can get you a loaner later. I decided to take my car and return once a loaner was confirmed to be available. When I got back in my car the steering wheel and all touch-points were covered in water from the steam gun they used to sanitize the vehicle. Nobody noticed or offered to clean this up or dry it off. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE ALL THE WAY Around. FIND ANOTHER DEALER.Update: Joerg in the service department was helpful in securing a loaner for the following day and offered me flexible options to drop my car off and get into a loaner. Hes also prompt while communicating and very knowledgeable while taking time to explain what the technicians discovered with my vehicle. Everything else is still a gigantic miss. Attached are photos of the loaner I was given. IT WAS FILTHY. The vehicle clearly hadnt been cleaner or inspected in quite some time. Dirty floors and mats, sticky residue on door armrest, residue around door handle, interior of windshield filthy with a huge mess of who knows what right in the middle, dust/dirt covering dash. Most unbelievable was that someone had curbed the front passenger tire hard enough to wedge mulch between the tire and bead of the rim. That certainly seems unsafe and was something I did not notice until after I had driven the car to work already. Joerg was great, everything else was a complete joke.

The rep I dealt with, Brandon was a sweetheart. Talked me through the whole massive service needed to get so more time from my 2007 passat .He was understanding and didnt make me feel stupid for hanging onto this old car. Theres a tech named Chris to who I owe some brewskis for staying late and getting an involved job done in record time...thank you!!

I arrived at the dealership at 7:30 in the morning. All I needed was someone to look at my brakes. When they did that they came to me and said nothing was wrong with my brakes, but they could run a diagnostic check on my car to see if there were any other issues. 3 hours later, after I stood in the garage looking for someone to come and talk to me, after I saw my car wasnt being touched by anyone, I finally got the attention of the man who first approached me to tell me what was going on with my car. I was 1 of 3 people in the service department at 730am. Many people that arrived after me was approached and told what was going on, but NO ONE approached me to tell me anything, until I stood up in a garage looking for some direction. I will NEVER bring my car back to that dealership again. All I was looking for was common courtesy. If someone is spending my time & money, recognize they are there. They obviously recognized everyone else in the area except me. Which means they know how to do it. Unfortunately, they have lost a customer for life. Good luck to anyone going there, because I will never get 3 hours of my life back just sitting there watching people walk past me. Disappointed & frustrated.
