The office environment is exceptionally clean and welcoming and the entire staff is professional and personable. Dr. Zolman is thorough and patient, explaining options in succinct detail. Hes extremely knowledgeable and shares information in an unhurried fashion. Since my mother had both wet and dry macular degeneration, I am very conscientious about my eye health. I highly recommend this office.

I had an emergency regarding a blood vessel in my eye and Dr. Zolman and his staff saw me right away and took good care of me, as usual. I have been a patient for a number of years and would not think of going anywhere else. I have family members who are his patients as well.

Theres nothing like a caring voice in a time of crisis...thats the situation I found myself in last Sunday afternoon. I had never had an ocular emergency before, and didnt know where to turn so after googling myself into a nervous breakdown, Infinitys number popped on the screen. Learning that an emergency cell phone number was available helped me to calm down, and when Dr. Zolman actually called me back, I was overjoyed, grateful and very relieved.Dr. Zolman listens, really listens, and he doesnt ignore the fears that are expressed; he explained both why the situation could be occurring and offered a recommendation that made sense to me.When I arrived the next morning the lovely and compassionate Miss Amber greeted us and immediately began making things happen. The staff stressed that my eyes were an important priority and that they cared.My situation isnt totally resolved yet, but I am going back to Infinity for follow up care. Everyone there was great! I feel my eye exam was very thorough and everything was explained to me in terms I could understand. The doctor was great and recommended over the counter eye drops to use for my dry eyes and said he could prescribe something else if those weren’t working well. I appreciate the effort to save me money! The technician was amazing and super friendly! The young lady that does eyeglass fitting let me know what looked good on me and would be a good fit. She also took time letting me know what to look for in glasses should I get them somewhere else. I really appreciate her honesty and professionalism! I was having severe eye pain that got worse on Christmas Eve. I couldn’t find any place that was open but Dr Zolman took my call oncall after hours. They were able to meet me at the office and diagnosed the issue and got me the right medication. I could have lost vision in my left eye if it wasn’t for them! This is a office and I will recommend them for all eye care needs!

I Infinity eye care make my bifocals. The first time i couldnt even use them the Rx was so bad. They were happy to redo but i really dont have the time to do that, but I did. Unfortunately, the second pair was a bit better but I can only wear them for close up. And I didnt go back. Just used the glasses like readers. Going to someone else this year.

The staff was also excellent and went about the call to help me at every turn. Friendly, helpful. Easy to get an appointment, wants what is best for you. Marla is always so helpful with appointments and insurance and whatever else you may need. Dr. Z is willing to work with you for your needs. He even gave me 2 different Rx for my contacts to try for a week so I could see which would work best for me. Which is a necessity for these aging eyes of mine!

Dr. Zolman was great with my five year old. He took time to explain her diagnosis and was very patient throughout the exam. The office has a relaxed atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. I was also happy that while looking at glasses for her, they were not pushy to sell them to me at all, they were more focused on her finding glasses she liked. Highly recommended.

I came into Dr. Zolmans office for what I thought was a free consultation to see if I was a candidate for a scleral lenses and whether or not the doctor could submit paperwork to have scleral lenses covered by insurance given my rare brain condition.I asked several times to make sure I wasn’t getting billed anything since there was a only a slim chance that my insurance would cover all services. I was led to believe there was nothing to lose since if the services were denied, I wouldn’t be out any money.A month later (in June) I was billed $898.61. I called a few times to complain that I didn’t understand the bill. Why was I getting charged for scleral lenses and fittings that I never received? I communicated that I would not be moving forward with the lenses (I thought it was for two lenses) since they weren’t covered by my insurance. But I kept receiving bills. Finally, Marla explained (after a series of flighty miscommunications) that if I didn’t move forward with the scleral lens, I would still owe $213.14 as the doctor performed tests. Tests that I didn’t know were being done and that I would have absolutely refused.Nevertheless, I sent them a check for $213.14 along with a formal letter to close out this saga. I asked them to ensure that I did not receive any future bills from their office. Would you believe that (almost one year later) Im still getting the same $898 bill?! You cant make this stuff up. Of course, they were quick to deposit my check.I would hope that they would provide more pricing and process transparency to future patients so they would not have a similar experience. I told them that I would review/document this experience in social channels in a truthful and respectful fashion. I never heard anything back from them (other than continually harassing me with erroneous bill/collection threats).

Great experience! Very fast, and I appreciated that the doctors and staff worked to actually make sure that my prescription was right before sending me off (I’ve had previous doctors not put in that extra effort).

Everything about my visit today was thorough and efficient. I was in and out in about half an hour but didnt feel rushed. Dr. Zolman and staff are knowledgeable and professional. I hadnt been to an eye doctor in about a decade, mainly because I dont like getting my eyes dilated. This practice lets you opt to have photos taken of your eyes instead of dilation. My husband had a great experience as well. Highly recommend!

The serum tears have made such a difference. My only issues is that they’re not covered by insurance! Thank you. I drive from St. George to see Dr Zolman - he is the only doctor that can produce the serum tears locally from what I know. They are so great for my dry eyes and all natural - made from your own blood so no side effects at all. I had tried Restatis, xidra and over the counter treatments - nothing works as well as these serum tears.

Dr. Zolman is wonderful eye Dr. that not only cares for your eyes but also you as a whole person. Theres a good chance I might not be here today if he hadnt noticed some serious irregularities in my eyes and sent me to Roper St.Francis for some additional care (not eye related). Dr. Zolman didnt have to look into the issues he saw any further, but he cares about people, not just their eyes. Pleasant and competent staff. The check-up was on-time and done efficiently. I liked the staff and Dr. Zolman.

Based on multiple experiences at Infinity over a period of a few years, I would not recommend Infinity Eye Care. There were just too many mistakes made and proper procedures not followed. I would try another location for eye care on JI or even in West Ashley. Dr. Zolman is nice and does seem to be a good doctor. When billing mistakes were made by the office staff when I first started going there, he did intervene and get them corrected. But again the mistakes were made and it took a lot of work and research on my part to figure out my insurance and where Infinity made their mistakes. Getting new glasses from Infinity was where I had most problems. There were little problems like never once did a staff member of Infinity fit the glasses to my face. The person would just hand my brand new glasses to me and ask how do they fit? I told Dr. Zolman about that one time and he said that wasnt the correct procedure and that the staff members should properly check that they fit may face and make adjustments. However, when I got another pair of glasses, I was simply handed them again and asked if they fit. I recently took my mom to lenscrafters as they were having an awesome sale, and the staff there were outstanding. They took the time to measure my moms face prior to ordering her glasses for her; and when the glassed came in, they took the time to examine the glasses on my mom and fit them to her face. With Infinity, I have had to go back to Infinity numerous times to have adjustments made as my most recent glasses just keeping slipping down my nose. A few different staff there told me that due to my lenses being so heavy (I have a high prescription), that was causing the glasses not to sit on my face properly. Yikes, I have had glasses my entire life from many, many different eye centers and no one has ever told me my lenses were too heavy to stay on my face - I have never even had an issue of my glasses not properly fitting my face/slipping down. On one trip back to have the arms of my frames adjusted so they would stay on my face, the staff member from Infinity broke the arm. It was a mistake and new frames were ordered, but when they came in she handed them to me and asked how do they fit? The last problem and the biggest, is that the coating on the lenses of my glasses scratches up and peels off. I have no idea why. After a few months, this was happening to one of my lenses, so I brought the glasses back and the staff member said the lens was defective and ordered me another. When I asked more questions, she said this just sometimes happens. When the lens came in Infinity tried to charge me a ten dollar replacement fee, but I refused as the lens was defective - they didnt push it. This problem with the lens coating started happening again - maybe 1 1/2 years later to both lenses. DR, Zolman said there was a 1 year warranty on the lenses and that I needed to order new ones at a cost to me. He agreed that the lenses were defective, though he said he had no idea why. I pressed and pressed him to try and figure out why this was happening to my lenses. However, he was not willing to do anything to replace the defective lenses or figure out the problem. He just said I needed to have an eye test and get new lenses for my glasses. Why in the world would I go back to an eye center that gave me defective lenses in the first place - 2 times?! Dont make my mistake -find an eye doctor and an eye center that gives top notch care. I am sure there are many out there. Do what my mom did -get an eye exam from a doctors office and head to Lenscrafters with the prescription during one of their 50% off lenses sale. It was cheaper for her to take advantage of Lenscrafters sale than go thru her insurance. Be sure you do not go to an eye doctor that charges you for the written prescription - I have heard that some docs do that!

Alway thorough, provides clear explanations, and doesn’t rush you through. Offers options for your consideration, depending on your circumstances.
