BOGO deals all the time. Courteous and patient staff. Wide assortment of frames from which to choose. Not as cheap as the internet, but you get what you pay for.

The website is far from user friendly it only provides more eye and brain damage from the lack of website marketing neglect..visit in person for best results for a 5 star outcome

David is absolutely wonderful! He was quick and efficient with helping my mom and I order our contacts, and so friendly as well. 10/10 great service.

I have sent numerous emails asking for a call back to schedule an appointment for me myself, my daughter and husband. Ive yet to get a return email. Ive attempted to call their office in the Charleston Town Center & hold each time 30+ minutes without ever getting in touch with anyone. So I will take myself and my family to a smaller office.

Ordered 2 pairs just over a week ago using their buy one get one special. They had the best frame selection out of any place I’ve been in Charleston! The manager, Melissa, helped me. She was extremely nice and didn’t try to push me to buy this or that. She told me 14 days for my glasses, but I received them in just over a week! (Although I wouldn’t necessarily expect that kind of speed every single time, as how quickly they’re made obviously depends on your prescription, the delivery service, etc). The lady who dispensed them - I think her name was Tara, was also very nice and helpful. She adjusted my glasses perfectly. I’ll definitely be coming back here for future purchases. Better service, cleaner store, better deals, and better frame selection than ANY place in Charleston. These are my favorite glasses I’ve ever gotten!! If you come here, definitely ask for Melissa or Tara if available. 11/10 recommend this place.

My daughter got her first pair of glasses yesterday. Donald was extremely helpful, professional and patient. She tried on at least 20 pairs and he was never aggravated with her. He was very knowledgeable on the glasses and proper fit. As well as insurance. I will definitely use Visionworks again and recommend to anyone. Thank you!

Was able to walk in. We had our eyes checked within 20-30 minutes, had our glasses picked about 40-60 minutes after arriving. I highly recommend. I had quite a few picks I liked couldnt make my mind up, and Tara helped me a lot and kept it real. Shes the real mvp. She was extremely nice, and because of everyone being so friendly I will be back. I will be telling people about this.

I purchased my prescription glasses and sunglasses from this location and Donald was absolutely phenomenal! He was incredibly patient even as I took so much time trying to narrow down frames/styles and his recommendations were so helpful. I have been going to Vision Works in the Town Center since they opened! I have always been treated with great respect. The people who work there have the best customer service skills of any eye place I have ever been too. I wasn’t for sure which glasses I wanted and the girl helped me and encouraged me to take my time on picking out the perfect glasses for me. I have been to many eye care centers or doctor office where the staff is too busy to help and just want to push me out the door. I highly recommended going to Vision Works you will not regret it.

We live an hour away and typically drive here because our vision benefit is better, and we had wonderful service with David at the Charleston Town Center location! My whole family of 4 ordered glasses and he made it easy. We already had our frames picked out before he was done checking our insurance so it was a very speedy process. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, service with a smile. As a retail manager myself, it was nice to see. We have had questionable service in the past and almost went elsewhere but decided to give it another shot. Glad we did.

For as long as I live in Charleston, WV I will always go to Visionworks for all of my contact and glasses needs. I started going to them about a year and a half ago after moving back to Charleston and they have been amazing since day 1! I have never left without being completely satisfied and have the utmost respect for the staff. They have always been more than willing to go above and beyond to help me resolve any issues or make sure that I am getting the most for my money so to speak. Ive never had a bad experience there and have always left feeling like a valued customer. Tara has been a lifesaver on more than one occasion so this review wouldnt be complete without giving her a special shout out!

Was in and out at a decent time. The people were kind and understanding, also had the info needed if there were any questions about insurance not covering the exam and/or the prescription for the glasses I needed. Also a wide variety to choose from. I highly recommend it.

I brought my glass in December of 2017. Donald was a great help with the order. Melissa is always very nice and helpful. There is great staff and would recommend them to everyone. I have no problems with my glasses and plan to be back in the future.

I got my glasses at Vision Works about a year and a half ago. I’m about to get my eyes checked again and I am going to keep my same glasses I bought. They have been so durable and I have dropped them a few times. When I used to go to other glasses stores my glasses were never fit for my face, at Vision Works they helped me a lot to ensure my glasses fit correctly and comfortably. They also let me use old glasses frames that I never wore for my sunglasses and places the lenses in them. They were extremely helpful and wonderful quality glasses! I will not go anywhere else!

This place is amazing!! We were in West Virginia visiting from Idaho. My glasses got broke and I needed some new ones fast. I got two pairs for only $50 as they happened to be running a special at the time. My first pair were done within a few hours. My second pair they were nice enough to ship (for free!!) to my home in Idaho for me. Donald is the one who helped me and I highly recommend him. Thank you so very much Visionworks and Donald 🙂

I have purchased many pairs of glasses at all three local locations of this chain over the past 8 or 9 years and have never been disappointed, but the Charleston store is my favorite by far. The manager is incredibly sweet and always super helpful and honest when helping me choose frames. They also always take the time to explain the latest and best options for lens treatments and upgrades, and the advantage to each. Their prices are also great and they accept a lot of insurances- I’ve had three different ones in the time I’ve been going there and they have accepted all of them. Their store hours are very convenient.

Fantastic service. I came in because a lens fell out of my glasses when I was here for my neices basketball games. They put the lense back with a new screw for free. David was very helpful and I will recommend this store to my friends!

Bought 3 pairs of classes there for myself and family members. In less than a year 2 of 3 broke. They only have a 30 day warranty or one year if you buy extended protection. Plus, and this is a big one, the guy that works there is rude. Told me I could go somewhere else when I complained about the glasses breaking and their short warranty period. Dont waste your time and money, go elsewhere.

I’ve gotten 7 or 8 pairs of glasses from this VisionWorks over the past 12 years. Never had a bad experience. Staff always helped to make sure I got frames that fit well and I’ve never had a problem with seeing out of my glasses when I got them. Definitely recommended.

Husband eye glasses was ordered 08/17/18, was told they would be ready in 10 days. Called 2x and was told they werent in. Called today 09/08/18 was told they werent in, after much discussion with worker it was found out that the first name of customer they had as last name, so when we would give our name it would show up that the glasses were not in. Not pleased with this business.

While waiting in Dr. Bryants office I over heard some people talking about how great this one guy was . I immediately asked who it was ( my experience wasnt great last time i was there) Donald is great totally what I expect in customer service; smiled the whole time super nice, spoke very clear, great personality, helpful, upbeat. I had a glasses emergency. My sisters dog ate my glasses. They were my back up back up glasses. So i didnt have anything to turn to. I called and spoke with david burgess, one of the managers there. He was super sweet. I went in he helped me pick out a pair that were very flattering. He had the lenses and glasses ready for me to pick up in 20 minutes. Fastest i have ever recieved my glasses. I will deff be using them again.

Vison work game me two different size nose pads then was so very mean to me after I said it doesnt match.

I was working with Donald so nice until....on Sunday the 26th my fiance broke his glasses so we had to get new ones(he has really bad eye sight so we needed to go that same day) well we went in and he was so nice helped us with everything said he would put them in that same day and rush them because like I said my fiance cant see and he told us 7 days they should be done. Well today is the 30th so we decided we would call to just see how they were doing because like I said he cant see at all....well we ask him how they are coming along and he said well they will be done on the 9th(that would be 2 weeks!! )When he told us 7 days! Then he said no I said 10 days...well 10 days would be the 4th!! My fiance cant miss any more than the 4th. THATS NOT THE WORST PART! We told him well my fiance cant see and hes going to get fired because he cant work like that if its till the 9th...this man said to us well I cant wave a damn wand and make it appear! (Who the hell says something like that) well we said theres no reason to be rude we were just asking and he said you started it. He is so nasty and rude after he got our money he acted like that! Im so not going to him again!! We are calling on him in the morning because that was so unprofessional and childish the way he acted!!😡🤬🤬

Claim to be open til 8 so rushed there after work around 7:20 to pick up and was told the doctor left at 7, so pickup hours end at 7. It would have been nice to have been told that. I went back before work this morning and my glasses werent edge polished as they were supposed to be. This was me giving them a second chance after last year when I had experienced rude service and a worker rolling her eyes at me. If you want terrible service and to be treated rudely this is the place for you. (I have been to Visionworks elsewhere and had a good experience, so it might just be this location.

Charged $125 anti glare coating on my glasses without even telling me about it. Then when I asked why my lenses were so expensive they just told me thats how much they normally are. Checked my receipt and saw the anti glare coating on there, so I called them to get it fixed and none of the employees were interested in helping me fix it. Finally got in touch with the store manager and he set it straight for me. But all of the other employees showed extremely rude and apathetic customer service.

Crazy good service!

The service by the lady helping me was horrible. She knew I interested in the deal 2 for 49.99. When I would pick two pair of glasses the total always ended up between 300-500$. I work in sales and if there are hidden fees be up front and break it down so I can make an educated purchase. She was a woman who has worked there for many years and she has always been unpleasant. Never smiles. Even completely ignored me when someone she knew came in to talk about personal discussions. She continued to talk to her friends for 5 minutes while my 1 year old son was ready to leave. So rude.
