Highly recommended! Great company and people! When your rib/dingy fails, life on board becomes much more difficult and much more expensive. We had an accident with our (now previous) AB 9’ rib and took it to these guys to see if they could help. They were very informative and gave me options for how I could proceed. Ray talked me through all pros and cons of whichever decision I made. We ended up buying a new 9’ Highfield from them and could not be happier (parting with my money), they even launched it for me so I didn’t have to carry it down the boat docks. Thanks guys

We could not have done what we needed to do in Charleston without them!! My fiancé Allen and I had an incredible experience with Raymond, Steve and Noni. They guided us (patiently - we ask a lot of questions), worked through a difficult customization and were great all along. We would rate them way higher than 5 stars if we could. Service and professionalism the way it’s supposed to be is a rare thing and we are grateful to have found it with Air Sea Safety. Thank you. Lisa & Allen. Wilmette, IL

Very honest people, gave me a great assessment on my existing inflatable which could not be repaired. Very knowledgeable staff. I wound up purchasing a new Zodiac with a trailer from them. Excellent quality, said it would be ready on a specific day and it was. Derek even followed up with me a few weeks later to see how everything was going. Top notch company !.

Raymond Harvey got us fixed up quickly! Not the cheapest in town ,but definitely worth the extra money sent. Professional service and a wealth of knowledge to solve any problem. Kudos.

Called and requested a quote from Ray and he blew me off. I guess he did not take me serious so I made to purchase from another dealer.

I have been here twice now to have my life rafts serviced (coastal commander 6pack soft bag and a viking 6pack hard case). These guys are great because they allowed me to inflate my life raft as a rehearsal for myself (with prior permission and coordination of course). Ive never had to use a life raft but it was great to know what/how everything should work. I was also able to pack additional supplies into the bag within the life raft. Highly recommend these guys for any service work, they also do a bunch of work with government vessel and stay up to date with new trends and technology. I also purchased a new EPIRB from them as we discussed the cost effect to replace an old battery from another EPIRB. They also are a deal for AB inflatable rib dingy, they do a few repairs as well.

Great store, very knowledgeable staff! They know a lot about life rafts and dinghies, as they service and repair both of them! The prices of dinghies and life rafts are often lower than online stores. They know advantages and disadvantages of every raft, what material is it made of, which of them have which certifications, etc. Talk to them before buying a raft. Theyll tell you that whats good for a cruising family may be too heavy for a solo sailor; and that some coastal life rafts share the same body with offshore models, just have less food/water and are much cheaper. They are real experts in this.We serviced an EPIRB and a Viking life raft with them on a short notice, and they were able to do a quick turn-around time. They also had an inflated raft in store that we could see, which was really helpful.

Ray has extensive knowledge of marine safety supplies, including liferafts. Parking is sparse. They drop ship, easiest to ship to commercial addresses. If you have questions, these guys can answer. Plus in the Charleston area, they deliver.

I just want say thank you to all of the crew at AirSea Safety and Survival! I own a watersports business (atlanticwatersports.net) and our Zodiac tube was damaged in a complex way and was rendered inoperable. We depend on this Zodiac to shuttle our customers to our parasail boat. My back was against the wall and their whole crew worked together and had me back in business in less than 24 hours. They put in overtime! I am very grateful that they have our back. Best customer service around!

While wintering our boat in Charleston, SC we realized our life raft needed to be recertified. We found Air-Sea Safety & Survival was an authorized service center for our brand of raft. We called Raymond who removed our raft and took it to the shop to complete the inspection. Since we hadnt seen the raft out of its case, we asked Raymond if it would be possible to see it after it was unpacked. He graciously agreed to provide us with a demonstration of the rafts features.Subsequently, the raft was inflated and a fatal leak was discovered. We were informed that it could be resealed but, no guarantee could be provided that it would hold if the raft were deployed and suddenly inflated. Not wanting to risk needing the raft and it failing, we explored replacement options.Raymond explained the various raft materials, the pros and cons of each and helped us make our selection from an array of brands available. We made our selection and Raymond arranged delivery to our boat. We were very pleased he agreed to do the initial pick-up and the delivery of our new raft as we had no car available. That was very helpful. We will have Air-Sea Safety handle all of our future servicing needs. If we arent in Charleston, the company will arrange for shipping both to their facility and back to our boat. How easy is that?We were very pleased with the great service received, the fair price for the new raft (which we compared to other dealers on the internet) and the excellent service provided by Raymond and his staff.Hopefully, we never need to use our life raft but, if we do, we feel confident we selected a high quality product which will keep us safe.

Air Sea Safety and Survival has met and exceeded all of our expectations. Our Zodiacs take a daily beating in the surf and without their expert repairs and preventive maintenance we would struggle to stay in business. Thanks for your many many years of excellent service!
