The service was great the store was very clean and disinfected between customers at registers.. They had everything thing I need and the paint department and plus its right beside my house so its very convenient for my business and for my customers

Nurseries aren’t worth buying from. Plants are not owned by Home Depot like they are at other improvement stores, so the quality of them lacks. As you can see, this is one of the problems with low quality growers. The plants here are infested with aphids an whiteflies.

If your looking for any electrical things they are very limited or have nothing in stock. Also It seems to me they dont have very much of anything in stock these days hopefully the pandemic will be gone soon so that items can keep up with the construction industry. Anyways still great place to shop.

I love this place!!! No one bothers you except for that one day when a district manager was here and talked me into buying a 16 gallon wet vac instead of the 12 gallon version. Every time I use that thing I’m thankful I happened in while that dude was here. Also, the parking lot looks amazing! My favorite place to shop.

The Home Depot on Magwood in West Ashley is one of my favorite places to go to for home improvement needs. They seem to have everything in one place at this location as you can get everything that you need for a project here and do not have to go to somewhere else to pick up another item. The staff here is very knowledgeable in just about every area home needs and can answer just about any question that you have as I have got the help I needed every time I have been here. This store is well run and organized as the sections are well marked and even though this store is big you can go right to the place you need to go without getting lost. I have had a really positive experience every time I have been here.

Mediocre Home DepotHalf of staff goes all out for you and seems to care, other half is annoyed to work there. I blame management you can tell it must be toxic or pretty miserable there, just from the one I met in a complaint they really could care less. Recommend other Home Depots in the area

This Home Depot is very clean and organized the employees are friendly but it is hard to find help when you need it locating an item wish there were more employees available for the customer.

This Home Depot was sold out of everything. I go there because I use Milwaukee tools but they didnt have anything for drill bits. I ended up going to the other place and they had exactly what I needed for much cheaper. Thanks Lowes

Apparently going to self checkout. Lots of people want full service. I told the attendant I need help she directed me to an available checkout. Immediately I need help! I was using a store credit. She rudely helped me. But then I needed her again. What a rude employee. She should be moved to shipping where there is no customer interactions. I went to customer service and asked for manager and was told he was with a customer. I voiced my opinion and they took my name and said he would be informed. I gave my number and asked him/her to call me. Well, no call.

Huge Depot, nicely stocked, organized and clean. Sometimes the help could use some minor lessons in simple arithmetic. The cashier seemed confused when I used cash$, BUT they were polite non the less. Politeness goes a long way in sales. They have a nice outdoor section. Their plants were well taken care of. Highly recommended, just count your change when using cash. The cashier made a mistake that was in my favor but I would not want to see someone lose their job over a simple mistake.

I feel like all home depots are the same. Huge, warehouse-y, smells of wood and oil, etc. Just moved here so been coming here a lot. Its hit or miss if someone is there to help you, but when they are they are all nice and helpful. Been coming so often Im actually learning the lay of the land.

What more needs to be said than it is Home Depot—This location has exceptionally professional, helpful, and courteous staff. From Jennifer in the garden center, to Peggy at returns, and all others in-between, they provide the best service.

Had to make a return. Cashier was helpful and even identified the fly problem we had. Also got a great deal on a light fixture for the dining room. Reduced from 75 bucks to 15!

I prefer Home Depot to Lowes because of the employees. They have more to help answer questions at Home Depot. Greg at the Pro desk at this location is the best!

Greg in the Lumber department is the best! He went above and beyond to help me. I have a hard time doing anything home repair wise. He took his time to show me where things were located within the store and even helped find some parts for a drill. His patience and expertise are unmatched. After buying some wood, I realized it would not fit in my coupe. He had a truck and offered to drive it home for me. His kindness and excellent customer service needs to be recognized! I am sending everyone to this Home Depot and it is the only one I will ever visit again. Thank you again, Greg!

Sometimes the help staff (when you press the button it takes extremely long time for them to come, if they even do. I recommend just getting the help yourself by asking someone. Also had some troubles in check out, sadly I would recommend Lowes over Home Depot.

I always pick the home Depot over Lowes because they always have the items I want in stock unlike Lowes that still has items on display and not in stock (it happened 3 times before I became loyal to THD).

Compared to the other big box counterpart... Associates at HD are readily available, helpful, sense of urgency and consistent follow thru with information. Yes/No its in stock and or suggest alternative options. Staffs overall genuine demeanor is the top 3 reasons HD prevail over its neighbor.My disapproval, Is a speculative observation thats been brewing over the last decade is how in-store products between HD / Lowes are becoming more alike, too many similarities from inventory, placement, limited selections, brand ownership, and the most questionable is how the price for similar items are identical if not within ..05c., price changes happens on the same rythm. Competition between the two biggest hardware companies is non-existent. Quite opposite.The staff is what separates the two

While I’m usually really happy with the Home Depot, this last visit I went in for a new multimeter. They were out of the majority of their stock, and the options available were significantly more expensive than what is available on Amazon. However the supplies they did have were rated very highly on Google.

Waiting on my window after came broken for 4 months now .. have been calling every week and the answer is the truck comes on Wednesday.. today the answer changed to we don’t know where the window is and when is going to be here... if you want to avoid all this please do not order a window from Home Depot.. worst experience ever .. and I have spent lots of money on this store..

Home Depot has caught up to and surpassed Lowes as the go to home improvement retailer. More brands, which give better selection and multiple options. Will shop at Home Depot over the others any time...

Would have given 5 stars. If someone would have offered some help. Had to get 30 bags of 80lb concrete. By myself, not fun.

Dont ever order something online and try to return. The staff is incompetent and have no clue what they are doing. they have stolen 70 dollars from me. I will never buy anything here again.

Usually no problems, good selection. Purchased new windows, installer was over 2.5 hours late. No call, nothing. We had to call for explanation. Lacking in communication and customer service.

Really frustrating having to wait 30 minutes for help loading 2k lbs of rock when the parking lot was mostly empty.

You can do item look up to find aisles etc. Good place to find ryobi tools though not as many combination deals. Also good for other quality 3rd party goods. West Ashleys 3rd worst speedbumbs in my experience.

James, an associate we ran into in the lumber area, was a tremendous, and so appreciated help, help. He not only directed us to the area we needed, but he led us as well; making sure we explored all our options. When another need arose, he was gracious enough, once again, to not only lead us to the appropriate area, but then found another associate to aid us with further details. Very impressive customer service! Thank you, James; you are a credit to an already great store. Possibly unrelated, but our visit was during racially sensitive times (regarding the death of G. F.). I sensed nothing but exceptional courtesy and superior assistance from James, for which I, my wife, and brother in law, are extremely grateful for.

Love this store! I was looking for a scrap piece of wood for a project. Employee Greg Meliti noticed me wandering and asked if I needed help. Even though he was busy doing a task, he stopped to help and found exactly what I needed. Wish there were more of him in every store!

Friendly floor help. Self checkout was a breeze.

After several mishaps with the Excel pressure washer, I went in to use the store credit and purchase a new Simpson unit. The Operations Manager assisted me and when I say he fought and fought to make the transaction happen, he did just that. Mr. Josh Soto and the service desk team that was working made me feel proud to shop with Home Depot. Thank You Mr. Josh Soto and if there is any rewards that I can recommend you for....u have a perfect score of 100 recommendation from me. Great place and great service!

I rented an hourly truck with them, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The check was in good shape and got the job done.

The difference between Lowes and Home Depot is incredible. I went to Depot first for a new washing machine because I found online a very reasonably priced one. After being in the appliance dept for ten minutes looking for the washer AND a sales associate, I finally had to stop an employee that was neither courteous nor helpful to ask for help. Three employees later, I finally heard a page for a guy named Patrick who came out from the back of the store. After talking with him about my dilemma of needing a washer and showing him the one I found online, he said yeah, that one isnt here and I cant get it. I pointed out another one I found on the floor and he said that it wasnt available for me to buy and take with me. When I asked why he says it was a display and their policy would not allow me to carry it out. I asked why that is and he wouldnt give me a straight answer. It was at that point that he offered me two other models that I COULD take with me but neither was what I was looking for. I asked him if there was anything he could do to help and it was obvious that he couldnt have cared less about me or selling me anything. I asked when I could have the one I would settle for delivered and he said NEXT WEEK would be the earliest. Disgusted, I left and ended up at Lowes where, surprise surprise, I found a comparable washer and, just as importantly, received the customer service expected. Dont waste your time going to this place, but if you do, definitely do not waste your time dealing with Patrick in appliances.

I normally wouldnt take the time to write a review for a large corportation store like home depot, but in this case I was willing to make an exception. We walked in late in the evening on sunday night around 7:10 or so, A friendly gentleman named Marquis approached us and asked if we needed any help. He attentively walked us over to the multiple different products we would need to solve a problem with our grass- we are new home owners and total amateurs- needless to say we needed alot of hand holding and guidance lol. Marquis was super friendly, knowledgeable and patient. He even scooped up the large bag of fertilizer we picked out and carried it along with him, friendly smile still adorned on his face to grab us a shopping cart. I have never had such a nice experience in a home depot. We had a nice friendly conversation while he assisted us in picking out a few more items. Turns out Marquis was actually on his way out the door when he stopped to assist us, which we were also blown away by his dedication to customer service. HD should definitely Consider him for management if hes not already there! You just dont encounter customer service like that every day and he totally made our HD experience enjoyable and a lot less intimidating.

Wife and I purchased a Bosch dishwasher today from the West Ashley HD. First off, couldnt get over the awesome price. Thought a Bosch was simply too expensive but for just a bit more than I budgeted we got a REALLY nice dishwasher. Second and more importantly the young lady that helped us, Deb, knew her stuff. She gave an honest and equal critique of the different models which allowed us to decide which we could buy. The area itself was well organized and clean. If I was to change anything itd be having more people to help the customers who had to wait quite a while to be helped because Deb was the only one in the area at the time.

Anytime I go over to this home depot everyone is very helpful and friendly. Great customer service especially from Fred in the Flooring department who helped me yesterday when I was in a hurry, to find front door floor mats for an event. Very polite, helpful, and went the extra mile to help me.
