Had to return an item and it was hassle free. But we did have the receipt and bought a fancier more expensive item.

I went into this store in Charleston on Saturday, August 14th after just moving to the area in July with my family. My husband purchased a pack of trash bags for our new trash can at bed bath and beyond in our home town in PA. Unfortunately, he purchased the wrong Letter of simple human bags. I didn’t have enough time to return them in PA before we left so I figured I could return them down here. I could not find the receipt because we must have lost it in the move. He also paid with cash when he bought them. I wanted to simply exchange them for the correct letter bags. The manager, not sure of her name but she was pregnant/blonde, was so rude. She told me too bad that I could not exchange them. I told her that the store policy which I read said that they could make exceptions for my situation. She said too bad I make the decisions and I’m not making an exception for you. I have never had issues returning to my old store in Whitehall, PA. Everyone has been so nice since we moved here but this lady was down right rude. She simply refused to help me. Now I’m left with expensive bags that don’t fit my can and she didn’t even offer to sell me the correct ones! Thanks a lot. I won’t be shopping at this store that’s for sure!

I was searching for some dorm supplies for a family member who is starting College.I met a very kind and helpful Sales Associate named KJ who not only helped me find some items on my list, but who also gave me some helpful suggestions on what to buy for someone who is starting College.Great Work KJ. You have strong customer service skills, and you could help train others as well.

The West Ashley Bed Bath & Beyond is awesome. They have everything you need to make your house a home and beyond. The staff is super helpful in finding anything they have in the store and go out of their way to make sure that you are helped. I really like coming here to check out all of the cool stuff and play around with the gadgets and search for a more comfortable pillow.

Came for a reclining beach chair, left with two gravity chairs. Clearance items for $40. Work great on the beach!!

Jules assisted us with a BuyBuyBaby return for some duplicate items we received for our baby shower. I was honestly dreading making the return, as I expected it to be a difficult process. She made the whole experience stress-free and pleasant.

Not very much stock available. Found something we liked, but noticed the price was different than what it was posted for store pick up. Manager said she could correct the price, but we couldnt use our coupon. I stated we could have ordered it for pick up at the lower price and use the coupon. We wanted to see if there was anything else we wanted. Which we did. She said no. I wished the ladies a wonderful afternoon and we left. The staff seemed to be more interested in their conversation or leaning on the counter.

The people are very friendly and helpful. Well organized. Couldnt give it 5 stars because many of the brands are so expensive there.

Shopping at BB&B is always great, they have a good selection of housewares.

This store is located in a large shopping center. There are many different types of stores and businesses located in and around the area. It is located close to the highway. However it is not close to the interstate access area.

I have never had such excellent customer service, period. I had to return some items that were purchased a week or two prior and I did not have the receipt and the cashier and manager both put up with my hangry attitude and holding up the line trying to work out the refund situation. I could not be more pleased with the patience, diligence, and respectful management of my situation by the employees. Thank you, bed bath and beyond guys, for doing everything you could to help me out even when I should have been more prepared but wasn’t. These guys rock. Never going to another BB&B besides this one.

Lots to see. Everything you can think of for your home is in this store. Some prices may be a bit high but some prices are competitive. All in all, you get what you pay for. With that being said, you have to pay more for good quality items. Cheap quality causes you to spend more money ALWAYS. I love this store. Always great customer service. Always good coupon offers as well.

I was looking for a certain set of napkins I saw online and said was in the store. I dont shop here often at all and could not find them. I asked the cashier and showed her my phone with picture on it. She entered a few numbers in the computer and said yes they have them. She went to explain where and then insisted on showing me. She was smiling the entire time and acted like she truly was happy to show me. Thank you, too many places or people make you feel like you are bothering them when asking for help these days. She was a pleasant surprise.

We recently built a new home on James island. This store has so many things that fit our modern household and has been a great source. In particular, I ordered blinds at more than 75% off the major blind companies in he area. Tiffany (manager) worked with me for over a month to get the last special order delivered and kept me updated every week. Amazing customer service at the West Ashley store! Will always be a loyal customer.

They usually have what Im looking for in stock, but even when they tried to order it online they couldnt. It was a simple drawer organizer, so it wasnt one of their hot items.

Got a new scale not bad

Everytime I enter this facility, Im made to feel uncomfortable and watched like Im a criminal or something. Four times Ive been here and each time Im followed and look up to see someone watching me. Im a manager at Mercedes Benz vans and I make more than enough to have to deal with a racist attitude.

This store is AWESOME! U ALWAYS find what ur looking for, or at least something close. Lol. I love going in once a week just to see whats new... something always catches my eye.

They always try to accommodate the customer. Very rare these days. Kevin is a consummate sales associate.

Love this store! They always have nifty stuff and necessities. Lots of choices for colors and patterns, too. My two complaints are that there is so much stuff in the aisles, it is impossible for carts to pass. Someone has to back up. And Ive had a new employee answer questions incorrectly rather than ask for help. Still, I love the store.

I love this store! Last week, I picked up a stuffed animal toy for about $10 from Amy Coe that I love.

I needed simple dish protectors, and they had them in stock.

This store is one of my favorite stores to wander around. I spent an hour and a half looking and buying things I didnt know I needed. The tool to open pull tab cans has been a bigger hit than the granite something pans. The pans are useful and replace some other pans that were supposed to last forever.If you are disciplined, you can make a quick visit but I am not disciplined. And remember, they still accept out of date PAPER coupons. The ones that are sent to your email are not honored past their expiration date.So when you want to spent some time walking, grab all those coupons and head to BB&B

It was minutes until closing and a swarm of people returning things came in (I was one of the people in the swarm) and she was handling everything behind the counter with such ease and finesse, helping fellow employees and 3 customers at the same time, all with a smile on her face. On top of all that im oretty sure she was close to full term pregnancy! Give her a pat on the back!

Great location close to the highway and not far from the interstate access. It is located in a medium sized shopping center located close to various types of stores and businesses located in the Charleston SC area.

I didnt think I would have time after Home Depot but I totally did. Bed, Bath, and Beyond provided us a nice little Saturday.

Store is not well stocked and feels cramped

I have been a customer of this store for years and have spent thousands of dollars. I have always appreciated their return policy up until today. We were told at the time of purchase, a few years ago, if anything ever went wrong, to keep the receipt and the original box and we would be able to exchange it. I was returning a Cuisinart Keurig. I was greeted with a friendly cashier, Selena, who was unfamiliar with the policy so she paged the manger. Once the manager arrived, I was ABRUPTLY INFORMED that they no longer offer this policy and that I would need to contact Cuisinart. He was nice enough to provide the number but offered no support and did not care to hear anything about the situation. I was polite and thanked him for his help. Being an older woman, it would have been nice if he had offered to carry it back to the car since it was extremely heavy. So, I asked the very sweet cashier if I could leave it on the counter and get a cart to put it in. She, of course, said no problem. I thing this so called manager could learn from his staff. I have worked in Customer Service for over 30 years and you NEVER MAKE ANYONE FEEL DE-VALUED. I was humiliated and embarrassed for my attempt. I understand policies can change but EVERYONE should be treated with RESPECT & DIGNITY. I will NOT be shopping at this location again.
