In our travels to Chapel Hill yesterday we came upon a hidden treasured gem. The yogurt pump was the perfect end to a perfect day with my girls, the sizes are huge and definitely worth every penny. The staff is friendly, sweeter than the treats and all committed to public safety during this pandemic; they have all been vaccinated for COVID-19. Its nice to know that they have done their part in trying to keep their community safe.

Great froyo and topping, but the ratio is off. I had a tall cup with all the toppings on the top. Then when you get to the middle there is nothing. A shorter, wider cup would make this place 5 stars.

The yogurt is delicious and reasonably priced - especially if you sign up for texts about specials (like a free pint of yogurt if you order a medium with toppings)!

This place is a Chapel Hill classic and definitely deserves a visit. I highly recommend getting some toppings to go with your foot because the nature of froyo means that the toppings are distributed inside the froyo, giving you much better value for each topping and a better experience overall. I am glad this place has lasted so long and look forward to future flavors and toppings as they come along.

Not the same and too damn crowded. Tart is not tart and doesnt taste like yogurt more like ice cream. This place needs a upgrade and not very clean. I remember this place in the 80s and the yogurt is not the same.

Yogurt Pump is as good as it gets. A staple of [Sweet] Carolina, Yogurt Pump, or YoPo, has been serving up delicious fro-yo flavors to Franklin St kiddies since 1982. Based in a locale like Franklin St - a street notorious for its turnover rate - I think its safe to say that the Yogurt Pump will always be here.My favorite flavors, in order:1) Peanut Butter (low fat)2) Oreo (fat-free!)3) Salted Caramel (who cares?)Support local business! Eat Fro-Yo at YoPo! Be happy! GO HEELS!

Nearly no line on a Friday night for brilliantly cold and delicious yogurt. We had a couple free samples before deciding what our cup would be filled with. Toppings optional of course. The staff were so courteous and didn’t mind grabbing some samples. Great flavor options too, I wish they had even more.. white chocolate perhaps? Probably my favorite yogurt place outside of The Country’s Best Yogurt (TCBY).

Best yogurt place around: I recommend the Oreo flavor with heath bar mix in. They normally have Oreo but they rotate the other flavors from Orange to Cake Batter. They have sizes from childs to pint with 30+ mix in options. Friendly staff but the parking can be tricky.

I love this place and have for years. They keep a good variety of flavors available and rotate them out with enough frequency that it never gets boring. This is one of the spots that makes Franklin Street what it is. It is perfect to top off a nice dinner at Met Deli or Top of the Hill or another great Franklin Street spot.

Classic yogurt place with at least 6 flavors always rotating and great toppings. I take my wife and daughter here when they need their sugar fix. Parking nearby under 140 West (Chicago Grill). Not much seating, and during spirng this place can get crowded. I still think Good berries is better but we dont have any in Chapel Hill.

Fair priced (not by weight!!) homemade frozen yogurt with staff that are generous with the toppings and do a great job of handling the constant rush/crowd wanting froyo! I wish they had benches or tables outside to eat at, as Moe’s has blocked off their seating. I like that they had free iced water available for patrons. Make sure you save your receipts so you can get a reward!

By far my favorite place to go for froyo. The Yogurt Pump (YoPo) always has amazing flavors, has a huge variety of toppings, and the staff is always super friendly. Also, because they are allergy-friendly, the toppings are controlled by the staff to make sure nothing gets mixed and everything is clearly labeled. Cannot recommend them enough!

A Chapel Hill staple. Always great, they have some rotating flavors. Sea salt caramel and dulce de leche are my favorites. Reasonably priced and cheaper if you pay cash for purchases under $5. Keep your receipts to redeem for a free ice cream!

This place is a chapel hill classic and favorite. They have six flavors, one flavor is always oreo, which is their best one, apart from Banana, which they rarely have. Banana is so good that I end up buying a few pints for my freezer. Anyway, their prices are amazing and they have a buy ten get one deal. i can buy 5 yopo (thats what the cool kids call it) for the price of one coldstone. so, this is a no brainer. The only downside is that they dont have banana that often and the new girl who cleans the glass to protect the toppings uses windex or some equally harsh chemical, stop spraying that near the food! i am sure after this review, they will fix that, but its still super delicious.
