Great facility.. Super clean and easy to store

Initially I was looking for a storage place a bit closer to my apartment in Arlington. The Chantilly location is about 35 to 40 minutes away. But the prices were much more affordable, so I went to check it out. Now I can honestly say that if I found one closer for less, I would still stay at the Chantilly location. This location is so well run, and I found that each person there cared enough to make my experience great. A special kudos to Shahana, the location manager, for she took the time to listen to my exact needs. As a result, I got the exact type of storage unit I needed. These days it is rare to find someone who is both transactional (knows the facts, the details) and relationship building (cares about the customers needs). Shahana is defintitely that rare person, and simply a great representative of the company. I have been to other storage units that were about this price, but in those places cheaper meant that one got what is expected out of a cheaper place. Not here in Chantilly. I cannot think of anything they need to change there, as it is clean, and very professionally run. Shanaha answered questions I had before I even knew to ask them! And her patience was impressive. I recommend anyone who needs to rent a storage space, check Chantilly out first. You wont be disappointed!

Friendly and helpful staff. Reserved 1 unit and visited office to get set up and it was quick. When I realized I needed another unit, I reserved and accessed 2nd unit through online process and that was simple and quick as well. Units were clean. Only issue during my time using their facilities was one of the loading bay doors was out of service for a couple of weeks and impacted access especially when busy. But it looked like the door was broken because someone backed into it.

If I could give these guys a negative 5 star I would in a heartbeat. Ive been using this storage place for 3 years and generally have had a great experience.Today that changed drastically. I came to close my unit and this lady I dealt showed me some terrible attitude. She was extremely condescending and disrespectful towards me. First she tells me to go away and come back in 10 minutes, THEN starts being belligerent when explaining to me the cleanliness of the space. I just signed my exit papers and left.If management is reading this comment, I hope they put that lady through extensive customer service training. That isnt the right way to treat a customer who has gone through 2 units with your organization in 3 years.

I really love this facility. Its so clean and the staff is very friendly. You pay month to month so theres no long term commitment. The manager Shahana was very helpful and knowledgeable and the guy Steve was very patient with us and answered all of our questions.

I’ve had my stuff stored here for over two years, starting back when they were Cube Smart. The new staff is friendly enough, however the last few times I’ve been here the loading bay doors have been broken thereby limiting access to your vehicle. Then as of today there were only two carts for use when there were almost a dozen available back in the Cube Smart days. It’s not fun renting a uhaul for a few hours then spending the majority of the time waiting for one of the two carts. I’m glad to be moving my stuff out of here.

The location is very convenient for extra storage as the units are clean and well organized. I had a pleasant experience at the chantilly life storage. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

On my move in day that I set aside the elevator was broken. The attendant said she would call me when it was fixed, but I have never received a call. I am 5 days into my rental and missed my window to move in this week. It has been 2 days and no one from the facility has contacted me, There are other facilities in the area. I think I will cancel and take my business elsewhere. I suggest you do as well.

Building and units are in great shape. Very kind and helpful management.My only concern is that every time I come here there are no carts available. Only this raggedy pallet jack from the 80s. Please get more carts to assist your customers. Everything else you’re doing great.

Ive tried to go twice in the past week and the elevators arent working. Fine for 1st floor occupants, but a huge inconvenience for people on the upper floors. This is actually the 3rd time in the past month the elevators havent been working.

This is a great facility! Well maintained and convenient. The four bays to load/unload are rarely all occupied. Corey is incredibly helpful! Everything is super easy and someone is always there to answer any questions.

Came to this storage facility last minute because I was looking to clean up my guest room and pick up some new furniture. Albert, the store manager, was super helpful and patient while I was trying to figure out which size unit would best serve my needs. The whole process from sign up to move in was quick and easy. We moved from CT to Chantilly VA, as i didnt habe enough space best way to keep my stuff ot will be a storage room, i looked up online then i came to my near location with a reference number already provide when i looked myself in the webside.When my Son and me came to the storage, as soon we sit in the chair after asking how it works, Manager asked to us write a review event though i still didnt have the services yet. Manager was insisting to write a review, it was kind of rushed situationOk most of the times i.came over a month to the storage, its very annoying not to have a Dolly or bagon or car to move my stuff from second floor to the elevador, and go to my car... its kind of waiting time till the other person finish.....I can believed its a big space to beg every time for a dolly , bagon, or furniture car movile........ I cant wait to move out completly....

I cant say enough about Albert. His professional demeanor, friendliness, and personality made me sign without hesitation. The facility is clean. In my opinion, its not so much about the facility, but Mr. Albert is what makes the difference at Life Storage previously known as Cube Smart.

This is a great facility,. Everything is very clean , storage itself, corridors, the loading dock and last but not least restrooms. The staff extremely helpful and very friendly, we really feel they care about their customers. The whole facility is well lit. The carts are easy to use and with wide enough corridors we never had a problem to get larger pieces into the storage. We feel very confident that our belongings are safe and stored dry.

Albert Charles and Crystal Simmons provided great customer service and support during my visit they were very welcoming and professional. I would highly recommend this location staff is amazing and property is beautiful and clean
