Ok place. Friendly staff. Weird security guard staff. I was wearing a normal reusable cloth mask. Same as some others were wearing. The guard was walking around with box of masks. Hovered around me few times while talking to the worker. He then said something so low I couldn’t hear and made me change masks while talking to worker about my order. Turns out I accidentally put my order in Scottsdale instead, but that was just as well. The Scottsdale location was way better, even though it is a longer drive, and no issues with my mask there. This location just has an over all odd vibe. Also if you order something for pick up in store of something in stock there is no way to just cancel and get at new location, you have to wait for refund then re-purchase .

Justin at Apple Chandler was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! We went in to get our 2007 Mac looked at and he was the best person to do it. So polite and professional. Plus, he got it to work! Worst customer service !!I was waiting in my car for more than 30 min for the product that I had bought to be delivered, which according to them was estimated to be delivered in 6-8 min, after more than 30 min they told me that I had to get off my car and go to the store by it. My question is why the offer a service which they can’t do it ? when I got there I told them my name and I said oh yes you were already on your way, it is something pretty new that is why we did not take it. And I was, really? I mean, they knew that I was waiting on the curbside for my order and they never delivered me, and when I got to the store they didnt even give me a sincere apology.

Friendly staff (not the best sales associates) and great customer support, but really bad inventory availability. It blows my mind that other retail stores have better product availability and pricing on apple products than the actual apple store. Ended up ordering from a different retail store which delivered the product in two days when the apple sales associate was mentioning possible availability by the end of October. Apple offers great products, but not the best service when it comes to buying their products.

I came to this store to replace my phone’s battery. I made the appointment (as suggested by other reviewer) and everything went smooth. The repair took a slightly longer than the estimated time required but still reasonable. I asked the repair progress of my phone several times to different staffs and they were very nice and helpful.

Arrived in this store only 2 days after my assigned online order pick up date and Im told my order got canceled because the pickup date has expired, although no email or text message notification.I want to purchase 2 iphone 13 pro max. They are not available in the apple store in Tucson, AZ, where I live. I excitedly found they are available in the apple store in Chandler, 100 miles from my home. I ordered 2 iphone 13 pro max online on 10/20/2021 (Wed) in this store and chose the pick up time at noon of 10/21/2021 (Thu). It turns out Im not available on 10/21 to pick it up and the order confirmation email says the item will be held for 14 days.I drove to the Chandler apple store on 10/23 (Sat) and arrived at the store at 10 am when it just opened. However, I was told by the assistant that my order got canceled because the pickup date has expired. They can not provide a reason why it got canceled only 2 days after the pick up time. iphone 13 pro max is not available in the store on Saturday so I cannot buy one in store either. Whats worse is that I dont receive any notification about the order cancellation, neither through email or text message. Apples treatment of customers is incomprehensible and it wastes me 4 hours to drive to the store.

*HIGHLY RECOMMEND MAKING AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE BEFORE GOING INTO THE STORE* (or you will experience long wait times)I recently brought in 3 old apple products to trade-in or recycle for a new iPad. It was as quick of a process as possible! They ensured all of our old information was wiped.I was even able to apply the promotion of free AirPods with the purchase of an iPad for students/educators. I chose to upgrade to the noise-canceling AirPod pros for $90. Great deal considering they retail at $250. Overall great experience and all staff were attentive!

I was very disappointed with how I was treated as a potential customer. I had questions about the new iPhones and I was always put second to other customers that came in after me. The interruption came from the employee not the customer. She would stop mid answering my questions and ask them if they needed help with anything. After the third occurrence I walked out and as I was leaving she asked if there was anything else I needed. Give me a break

I love Apple, no one has better design, but good design doesnt compensate for bad service. I have a pair of Beats for exercise, one of the earpieces stopped working. I IMd Apple, they told me I could send them in or go to the Apple store for same day service. I made an appt and went in. When I got there, they said they didnt service Beats onsite (even though they sold them), so they took them and mailed them in. It took about a week to get them back. When I got them back, the ear tips had been removed, so they were unusable. I called to get ear tips... they said I could have them mailed to my house or I could go pick some up at the Apple store. Once again, I went in to pick them up, hoping for fast service. Even though they were selling the ear tips in the store, they couldnt give me any... they had to order them... to the store, and then ship them to my house!! This took nearly two weeks. All in, it took nearly four weeks and two trips to the Apple store before the issue was resolved... oh, and by the way, the earpiece now works intermittently. The problem never got fixed!! :)Meanwhile, my son had a defective mouse, purchased from Best Buy across the street... we stopped by to get it fixed on the same trip... fully resolved in 5 mins. What a stark difference!

Out of town looking at a M1 chip iMac. Talked with the manager, Michael, who was helping on the floor. Great experience. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and took his time discussing options with me. I never felt rushed or that my business was not valuable, even though I was ordering for a shipment well outside this area. I am impressed by managers who are not afraid to do any job on the floor. The fact he seamlessly stepped in and was helpful was impressive. That is usually the sign of a great store / mgt team. Kudos to Michael and the team for all of your help today. . I found the store to be very helpful.

Typical Apple store. The script is top notch but dont try to deviate from it. Dont ask real technical questions, it is easy to stump the panel. Probably time to upgrade, etc. However my problem was straightforward and they did an excellent job solving it.

Worst Customer Service Ever! So many apple employees sitting down not bothering to help customers! Might just be this location, not sure! BUT DONT COME HERE!!!!!!!!!Got there by my appointment time. Checked in with a guy who worked there and was instructed to sit next to the big screen TV and wait for an associate to come get us. As were waiting, other customers were being helped that came after us. After 25 minutes of waiting I finally walked up to an associate who was just sitting on their butts not helping anyone and asked when were going to be helped. Come to find out, the guy never submitted our check-in. Smh! Soooo, how come none of the apple associates who werent helping any customers(and there was at least 7) at least ask us if weve been helped?!? They all seen us sitting there, WAITING but never bothered to check if we needed anything! So disappointing.

The staff just chatting around among themselves in the back, they hardly come to the front to approach customers. Instead of helping selecting the right configurations, they care more selling apple care. The only redeeming value of this store is the option of picking up online orders.

Heard a rumor that Apple stores carried some RFID toys and wanted to see if this location had them in stock. The security personnel at the front made it a super uncomfortable experience. After letting him know what I was looking for I was met with confusion and toys? why would you look for toys here we dont have toys. Store manager later told me that they stopped carrying the product awhile ago but did sell it in store. Nice store, knowledgeable staff, maybe hire some more intelligent security that are also looking to help not discourage.

I was unable to set up an appointment online, but it wasnt a problem. There wasnt too much of a wait to get in. As of my visit, they were still requiring masks, took temperatures before entering and had you wait in line outside of the store until a genius bar member was available. Kasey was professional and helpful. She was able fix the problem, and gave some suggestions on what to try if we run into a similar problem again.

Long wait times (up to several hours). Security guards are enforcing mask wearing (6/2021) when the state of AZ has rescinded all mask mandates. Genius bar is certainly not staffed with geniuses. Came with a simple problem, but they were unable to help. Went to local independent repair store and problem was fixed in five minutes.

Apple is a great company, makes innovative products and services to consumer, but this center definitely has some serious issues.They give my daughter 1:00 PM appointment on Sunday afternoon and she was waiting for 1 - 1/2 hour for someone to help her.Then I got involved by calling the store and after 40 minutes I was able to talk to one of the store managers by name Gary ( I think sales manager)After my level of frustration was gone up to sky, after he listened to my issue he promised that his repair manager or lead technician will call me.I request to have the district manager to call me but guess what ?! (the company policy is you get call from the store manager only)Grant is (lead technician) at this store and he called me explaining to me what happened, (system issues and neglect from his team) we discussed and he advised me to talk to customer relation at the corporate office.These managers need to go to training and I hope someone in the corporation is reading these bad reviews.In general we as a consumer made this company great, but their customer service sucks and I don’t think they are looking at that as long as they are making money and their stock is keep going up.I think one star is too much for this store!😡

I went for assistance in updating my Apple Watch. Tech reset my phone stating that the only thing I would lose was my background. Wrong…I lost settings, notifications, facial recognition, passwords, etc. Was told their internet was weak and it would take 5-6 hours to update in store and to try update at home. It didn’t work. End result - useless watch and numerous phone issues. Terrible service.

I had placed an order online to pick up at the store, and reserved a time slot. Theyre taking serious precautions to protect their employees and customers during the pandemic which was comforting. I was able to check in immediately when I arrived during my appointment time and waited probably less than two minutes before I was granted entry to the store and picked up my order. The staff were all polite and helpful, and despite this occurring on Black Friday it was a very fast and efficient trip.

Went in today to get my daughters phone looked at, and the rep David Ruiz who helped us was absolutely amazing! He made my experience one of the best ones I’ve had! This Apple store always seems busy. It is a very loud and brightly lit store and could seem a little intimidating if you are an introvert. We were approached by an employee as soon as we walked in. We needed a new battery for an older model iPhone. We were given an estimated time that we would have to wait to talk to someone who could get us checked-in for the repair. They take your info and text you when they have a tech available to assist you-you can stay in the store or walk around the mall while you wait. The tech then lets you know what your options are. There was no hard sales pitch to upgrade, but a newer phone was suggested. We were also informed that they have free classes during the week to teach Apple users how to use apps and other features on their phones. We walked around the mall for about an hour until it was done. When we got back, the employee that helped us was polite, rung up our repair and we were on our way.

Don’t bother expecting them to hold to your appointment time. Arrived on time and they “lost” me for over 30 minutes... finally when I got assistance, they determined the phone was under warranty and needed a new screen assembly to replace the speakers. The repair will take an hour. Came back one hour later. We need ten more minutes. 30 minutes later I discovered they “lost” me again. So all in it took 2.5 hours to do a 1 hour repair...

The check in staff was very informative and friendly. The person who was assigned to help me was not helpful at all. I asked about a possible trade in and he didn’t even acknowledge it. I asked about other products and I felt he was just trying to get rid of me. I was very unhappy with his service. For being a sales person he was definitely not one for me. Famous last words, “due to COVID...” they require an appointment to get in the store.The website says masks are required and limited people in the store. There was one person in the line to get in. And three people working to greet you at the entrance.Could I get in? No. Not without an appointment.I am not driving back. Time to buy a kindle. Screw Apple.

I had a very negative experience at this store. The rep was rude and condescending. I have an iphone 6 and it has stopped working when not connected to the wifi. I am not ready to upgrade and really feel that it should still work. This is a ploy by apple to generate sales. The rep told me he was only allowed to spend 5 minutes and that if I was not going to buy a new phone to basically leave. As a long time apple customer I expected more. They had no interest in trying to fix my phone even though after the two hours chatting with apple support at home they told me it could be fixed. Dont go to this location. If I could give negative stars I would.

Marissa V. is seriously the biggest help ever!!! While stores were shut down due to COVID-19, my phone was a complete disaster. She is my roommate and LOVES working for apple so I knew I could count on her to help me. She took the time out of her day not only to help me pick out and order a new iPhone but also to set it up and help me understand the phone. She was able to explain everything to me in a way I would understand. I think it’s so awesome that even on her time off and away from the physical store, she was so willing to help me

Covid Friendly, They have a line to go inside you can get your phone repaired or purchase or look around but they do have limits and they have a security guard taking your temperatures before you go inside. Everyone was sanitizing before and after we went to the tables and all had masks on of course. The wait wasn’t long at all it was about 5 minutes for a repair. Thank you

There are tons of staff so you never have to wait for assistance. The staff are all so very informative and know so much about the products. This store even offers classes at this location. If you are in need of help with your Apple products, this without a doubt is the place to go.

Went to pick up the new iPhone 12 Pro that I orered online the night prior. I arrived right at the beginning of my appointment window. I got checked in without issues. Security had me wear a disposable face mask as the neck gaitor wasnt sufficient enought to enter the store. I was led to end of the near table where Shaun greeted me. During my new device setup process, Shaun assisted another customer with an iPad on the other end of the table. After I migrated all my stuff from my old device to the new iPhone, I had an issue signing into my Apple ID as it went to the two-step authentication process. Unfortunately, I had just initiated and completed the erase all function on my older device. I had to wait until I got back home (almost three hours away) to complete that process. So I had to rely on the stock Apple apps for my trip back. Also, if you decide to have a secondary number set up (eSIM), note that your primary number cannot be on 5G as long as you have two cell services enabled.

Great layout and still some nice stores in this mall but its a virtual ghost town if you visit during the day time. Hard to see this mall or any surviving long term with the minimal foot traffic and ability to generate revenue? Kind of sad to see but its more than likely a look at the future with the online purchase growth and development. Malls need to find a way to stay relative and create a new buzz!

Thanks to this store for saving the day after the Best Buy near the mall didn’t have my appointment in their system, even though I had an email confirmation with my appointment time, location and date. I was able to run over to Apple in the mall instead and they fit me in with great speed. My cracked phone screen is now fixed and Apple saved the day!

Made an appointment for an iPhone battery replacement. I was on time, they were late by about 15 minutes. Told me to come back in an hour and work would be done. Came back, and they said they could not replace the battery due to “missing tabs.” Their solution was to sell me a new phone. Wasted two hours on a Sunday. The local iPhone repair guy had it done in 15 minutes with no problems. Left a review and got a call to follow up on my bad experience. The person sounded like she was teenager and had no idea how to handle a poor customer experience. Will not return to Apple store for purchases or repairs. Will either let my local guy take care of it or switch to Samsung.

Brought in are iPhone 10. We could not restore or reset it. The Apple store said it is broken and there is nothing they can do to fix it. They also tried to sell us a new phone. The phone is only one year old. We brought our phone to a mobile repair shop at the Superstition Springs Mall. They fixed it. So Apple cannot fix their own phone and tries to tell you that you need a new phone after spending $1100 on a phone but you take it somewhere else and they fix it for under $99. Wow!

I just want to write a review from my Apple exp, they sent me a notice of potential fire hazard with the battery for the laptop model I have and offered to replace it. I did that but after the replacement now my laptop fans run ALL the time, never before, and Apple engineers say its normal. The noise and the heat from the laptop is enough for me to want another laptop and Apple wont do anything. They messed it up and didnt offer a discount toward another guess its time to seek out other products like windows since Apple isnt anything more than another product nothing special. I wont mention the Apple store and their concept of customer service, pitiful. So much product loyalty , companies no longer acre about the customer just the sales. We came in to buy a new iPhone but we were forced to wait approximately 50 minutes just to get someone to ring us up. We already knew what we wanted but they made us wait anyways. The waiting feels artificial in my opinion. I think they just want to keep the store busy and full to convey popularity to people walking by. For that reason, I’m giving them 1 star. Apple should honestly be more efficient in ringing customers up. I recommend you make your purchase online and then come to the store to pick up or have the product shipped directly to you and skip all this nonsense.

We’ve been to this Apple store twice. It was busy both times. Both times we were there for over an hour. One of the trips was supposed to be a quick pick up of a phone we bought through the app and opted to pick up in store. Not a good experience either time. Chaotic seems to be the most appropriate word to describe it. There were some friendly people, and there were some others... (Trying to stay as unbiased as possible.) Nowhere near the service or experience I would have expected. I love Apple, but if this store had been my introduction, I would be an Android user for life.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Of all the Apple Stores Ive been to, this was by far the worst. I was there to pick up a phone and a technician asked me to wait up front for someone to come and help me. I did and it took about 5 minutes... no issue. The rep then asked two of her coworkers kindly to help me as she was busy and they looked and then looked away to continue their conversation for another two minutes or so. I felt so bad for the girl because they ignored her and she looked at me to apologize. Anyways, they took their time to finish their conversation and I ended up not being able to pick up my phone. Long story short, the skinny white guy with glasses and darkish brown hair was the gentleman that totally ignored the girl coworker. I love the new look and style of the new apple store !The new style of store makes it easier to find yourself around and makes the shopping experience a lot more funI personally think that Apple can do better as far as they’re waiting time for service and sales.I don’t know why and what is going on but every time I go there it always turns to be significantly longer wait time than expected.The staff in the store is very knowledgeable and easy to work with.

The service was great..the only problem we had is when they needed to charge .99cents they also charged $10.81. We still dont know why and have not gotten a response from anyone about it.

Was helped by Angel and Thomas. Those guys were super patient and very knowledgeable. While I waited for my appointment at least 3 staff members came and checked on me. Not sure why other sites had lower ratings. Also, park outside of Nordstrom or Pottery Barn.
