I went in because it says it’s Discount Furniture. I just moved and needed some new furniture. They didn’t even say hello to me when I walked in.... I asked where the discount section was because the prices weren’t discounted prices it was insane pricing for plywood furniture... and pleather couches. So I go to the 70% off section and find 2 broken lampshades but I’m thinking I could fix them up. He tells me $149 for each lamp shade... I said they are missing pieces... he said they come like that. I’m like wow, what kind of place are you running here... this is not the place for me obviously.Funny because I make good money and if I saw something I really like and had to have I would have dropped some money on it. But I guess they don’t need the business. I was the only person in the store too. Maybe don’t judge a book by it’s cover.Go anywhere but here.... it is not discounted and they have horrible attitudes.

They tried to keep my money and told me they had lawyers and that the would not return my money after failing to deliver the bed. way overpriced and the men are rude especially the father who seemed desperate to get my card to swipe for the sale. he on purpose swiped as credit after i told him not to. later finding the small print to say no refunds on credit purchases. no body was in this place after coming back the second time i should have known and read the reviews on them . Greedy money hungry and desperate family owned place, bad service and will never ever go back. i disputed with my bank and got my full amount back. shoppers beware they need to be ashamed of themselves i know its covid and sales are probably slow but dang they are just snakes maybe they have learned not to play with peoples hard owned money!

DON’T COME HERE! They sold us the floor model and with covid around they still sold us the one furniture that is out on the sales floor where customers can touch. They said we can refund but there will be 40% off what is the original price we got returned plus delivery fee with get deducted off our refund. So that technically means I would not get my $930 back but $400-$500. It’s a family owned business and they lied to us in our face saying that “they will tell their boss”. But we were speaking to the boss. The staff their is not friendly nor care about customer satisfaction AT ALL. Breaks my heart that such a business is still up and running. No one shop here and just save yourself the heartache. Go someplace else with better outcomes. Stay away from this store. Ted spoke to us and he was not answering professionally neither was the manger that was Indian he raised his voice and before we even came to the store we had called them twice and the Indian guy hung up on us twice and said “I do not want to talk to you guys”. Stay away from this place!

Went to this store 2/18/21 to see what they had for good deals on a mattress. They are currently running a truck load sale on mattresses. The one I was shown had many stains on it but assumed it was a display model and someone maybe spilled a drink or something. After coming back to the store about an hr later(considered buying the bed), I looked closer at the mattress and it actually had bed bugs all over it! I would have taken pictures but was so eager to escape, didnt take the time to pull out the phone. Very scary to know I almost purchased a deal only to bring home those things. Only putting this review out there for other families so they know to be cautious. Im sure they have some good stuff in this store but beware of mattress sales, especially any on sale due to minor stains- it appears this was probably a return from someone who had an infestation and wanted some extra funds by simply returning the mattress. My advice to the owners, not that it matters, is review/evaluate what you put on your showroom floor as Im sure you are a good company and this was a major mistake on quality control!! You may want to throw that bed in your dumpster as it does not belong on a showroom floor

Sold us a lamp that was very low quality and came incomplete. Would not let us have the pieces we were missing from their floor model that was already missing pieces and would never have been sold in the current condition.

This place is wonderful!! So much to choose from! I will not buy furniture from anywhere else. Great customer service. We have bought all of our furniture here. One of the things I love is, if you have cash they will work with you on the price. You can negotiate and I love that!!!!

So happy! Great customer service and I love that they are family owned! I bought a sectional, sleeper sofa, love seat, and master bedroom furniture. When one of the nightstands came damaged (from the manufacturer, not store), they quickly ordered me a new one. I highly recommend this store!

My wife and I shopped at six different stores before finally making a couch purchase here.Pros:Complete customization, we could put any fabric on any couch, allowing us to have the perfect piece for our living room.Very high quality: solid frame construction, back cushion were manually sewed to the back of a couch that is not ordinarily supplied that way, seat cushions are very thick and lined on both sides so we can flip them in case of a spill.Cons:High price and these guys are tough / impossible to negotiate with. I had standing offers at 20% to 40% off list price from all other stores we shopped at, Furniture & Mattress Discounters came down $50 on a $2000+ order. Still, we went with them as they were the only supplier to meet both my requirement for sturdy construction and quality micro weave fabric as well as my wifes requirements for aesthetics (shape and fabric color).You end up getting what you pay for, high price for high quality and unique customized furniture.Manager that I dealt with asked me to pay debit rather than credit. This helps him as he doesnt lose 3% on credit transaction fee, and hurts me as I dont get my points back for a large purchase. I obliged when he offered to include a complimentary gift. I was not expecting much, but ended up getting nothing. While small, this is the reason I am giving four stars instead of five.If you can accept the limited selection of other major stores, you can get close to as good quality for much less price.

Furniture & Mattress Discounters was the store that I chose to purchase all the furniture needed for my vacation rental home. Karen, the salesperson, was so helpful and gave me awesome discounts on my selections. I wanted sofa beds and they provided me with option of converting a sectional into a sofa/sleeper sectional. I was able to finance the purchase with no interest for a year and the owner was nice as well. The delivery crew were very professional and careful with each item.I recommend this store if you are in the market for furniture.

They tried to sell me one end table for $199 and a second for $299. Then he said they were each $399. Do I hesr $499? Very rude and walked away when I questioned their pricing. Stay away!

Found something I liked for a good price. It was a couch they had in their Odds&Ends section. They also provided same day weekend delivery. Super fast and easy

Not great service! When I walked in no one greeted me. I had to go in and find the staff instead and they were all sitting down in the back with the furnitures.

Very dishonest and poor customer service. We were told to put a deposit down to simply hold a sale price for three days. When we changed our mind within the three days, which the salesperson said would be fine to do, we went back for our deposit. The manager was rude and conniving and refused to give us our money back. He lied about what had been offered to us, and stated the the salesperson had already received a commission on the “sale” which hadn’t even taken place! So manipulative. It was a very frustrating and disturbing shopping experience. I would not recommend going here. Too many other, better options.

We bought a bed set with a mattress and dresser a couple of weeks ago. I waited a while before rating in case we had any issues with the furniture, there were none. Sam helped us and he was great. Good quality stuff costs a little more but was worth it. I feel we received a really fair price. Would recommend this place.

I would have given them one star but Ted, the first man I spoke with, was very pleasant. Ted, the waterbed salesman was an arrogant jerk and a liar. He asked me why I would not purchase today, they are having a sale.There were no signs advertising a sale. Because I must try to say something good about everyone I will say that he has a lot of experience; he knew I was not a serious customer.Their one waterbed was seriously underinflated so I could not get a good impression on whether I wanted to buy. Ted claimed he has told them to fill it, because his commissions depend on it I would think he would insist or fill it himself.They are the only game in town, or in the state as Ted claimed which explains the arrogance. You can buy a waterbed online for less than half what they charge.

Bob was my sales person and He was professional and didnt try to over sale me. other guy that worked there was friendly also. delivery was fast!!! and guys were very respectful and set bed up quick.!! I had finally made up my mind to purchase a Tempurpedic mattress, after checking out every major mattress manufacturer. A friend told me about this store.They have a great selection of many of the top mattress manufacturers. They were knowledgeable and extremely professional. I chose the Serta iComfort 3000. An hour later they delivered my adjustable frame and mattress! Their guys were incredible and very efficient.I have passed by this store 100’s of times. They have a great selection and I can’t wait to shop there again. The whole experience exceeded my expectation.

Sam was extremely helpful and even let us borrow a night stand to make sure it matched! We also shopped around and Sam gave us the best deal by far and was very professional and genuinely nice which is nearly impossible to find in a sales person in this industry. I will definitely be doing business with him in the near future!

Came into the store and bought a dinning set because relatives were coming over for New Years, they said it would be deliver that same day. After I asked at what time they went to talk to delivery guy to later come back and tell me they no longer have the bench in stock, they would only be able to deliver the table and 4 chairs today, he said the bench would be in store the next week and I would be able to pick it up. It has been 2 weeks and never got a call, called them back and they said its going to be another week before it arrives, and they rudely told me my only option is to wait that there is nothing they can do about it. Now I will have 2 family members with out a seat in my new years dinner.

Love this place!! Bought a mattress there about 4 years ago and went back just last week and the salesman remembered us just from that one purchase. We explained we were on a budget and they worked with us to find exactly what we wanted within our price point. I went back later that day picked everything and put together that night.The guy in back who helped me load it was very courteous and asked me with each box how I wanted it loaded. They had string in case you dont have any straps.All around fantastic place to purchase any furniture needs for your home at a good price!

Shopping for a recliner but ended up with a 3 piece set. Was a great experience and the manager gave us a great deal no awsome deal. I will go back when I shop for my new bed. Would recommend to those that are working with a certain budget in mind. He really worked with us.

Delivery was on time and no missing items :)We went to many furniture stores and we loved couches from Ashly furnitures. When we stop by Furniture & Mattress Discounter we were able to order it for 20% cheaper than both Ashly and American furniture Warehouse store. The couches were not available in store but the manager was able to locate it online and order it. I will definitely go back.

Just moved to the Phoenix area and was visiting my mom and chandler and she told me about this place. Stopped in and Bob helped me out and got me a great deal on mattress and box. I was able to get it the next day and I liked that the delivery guys got it in quickly and left. Glad my mom told me about this place!

These guys are great!!I purchased a trundle bed for my daughter on a Friday night @6:30. About 2 hours later, they were at my house assembling the bed. I have currently furnished 3 rooms from them and will continue to finish my house using ONLY these guys.They are friendly and have very nice furniture at great prices.

My sales person was Sam, and he was great! I walked into this store just to shop around but ended up leaving with two mattresses and a dining room table. My store to store hopping was done the second I walked into this store! Friendly and amazing customer service, and really fast same day and scheduled delivery. I dont think Ill ever go anywhere else.

The sales person didnt care , he basically ignored us. We were the only shopper in the store.

I was only going in to get a business card but the owner sat me down and wanted to know what we were looking for. We told him and they beat everyone else by 15% then SOLD us the units and delivery was on time and they did a nice clean install. So far they have been top notch I will be going back real soon, so look for my update to follow.

Terrible experience. We went in browsing for a couch. Ted approached us and followed us around the store. He was extremely pushy and aggressive. We wanted a sectional with a certain height leg. He assured us everything was completely customizable lying and doing anything to close the deal. Called after a couch was delivered with the original legs and spoke to Sam. He was very polite and stated that they dont customize legs and would speak to the sales associate. He assured me that he would speak to his warehouse and would have new legs delivered and installed. In the meantime, he advised us to take the legs off our couch and rest the couch on the floor. We have wood floors and saw nails on the bottom of the couch when the legs were removed, his advice could have ruined our floors. Of course we went out and bought something to protect our floors in the meantime. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and did not contact them again until our new legs arrived. They call us to inform us that the new legs arrived. I called back and wouldnt you know Ted answered. I explain to him my frustrations and that we felt he lied to us to close the deal. He became aggressive and unreasonable. Told me someone would call to schedule the delivery and hung up on me. Karen called a few minutes later. After setting up the delivery I asked her the name of the man I spoke too and who the manager was. She informed me that both Ted and Sam are the managers (Ted told me he was the GM...). Karen was extremely rude I dont have time to answer a 100 questions, this made me even more upset. She scoffed and hung up on me. Our new legs were just delivered and they are plastic caps with a nail in them, something you can buy from Walmart. There is so much more but I think it is time to move on from this post and warn every one we know (family, friends, followers, shop customers) to stay away from this company.

My boyfriend and I purchased a new bed and mattress from Sam. We had a few issues with the actual bed breaking. The way the bed frame was made and our hardwood floors did not go well together. Not his fault at all just a poor design. Sam did not have to help up however he did! He had to send someone out 2 times to fix our bed for us. He did it the same day or the next day. He made a stressful situation less stressful. I would highly recommend purchasing from his business. I would stick to only metal frame beds in the future though!

The sales people at this store have a heart of gold. My daughter and I recently moved to AZ from WI and through a series of unfortunate events we were truly struggling. This company gave us a great deal on mattresses and even delivered them after hours to make sure we wouldnt have to sleep another night on the floor. We will be using them for all of our furniture needs in the future.

I bought two twin size box springs plus a full size mattress with box spring for a decent price and good quality.

We wanted furniture at our new house we moved into ASAP and went around town and everyone said it would be a few days and such whereas here we were told we would have our furniture the next day. Great! We were thrilled to finally have furniture! So the next day rolls around and I get a path made in the house for the delivery and clear my entire schedule knowing it’s going to come. 4 pm rolls around and I’m still waiting. I call wondering what’s up because I have things I need to get done other than sitting and waiting for something that’s not coming. I get someone at the store who has no idea where my order is. I get a call back from the “manager” who tells me my furniture will be here at 8 pm. 8 pm?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I then told him I would just come pick my things up from the store with a rented uhaul and he tells me my order is out on a truck “somewhere in the west valley”. Lmao I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. With the amount of competitors out there and a manager who doesn’t care about his customer take your money elsewhere.

The manager Robert at this “discount” store could not honor price that was placed on display for a 3 piece grey wood end table and coffee table that clearly said 299.00. The lady at the front desk was rude and said we could not get it for the price that clearly said 299 for 3 piece set. We asked her which set was for that price as we were on a budget and she couldn’t even give us an answer. How do you not know ur own merchandise. She said that just the coffee table was 600 dollars? How is that a discount. Horrible place nobody was even there and the only other person there was being helped by the front desk lady who she was being rude too as well. Don’t waste ur time or money at this facility.

Worst experience ever! I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and a law suit if needed. I went into this establishment a few weeks ago with my family to pick up a bed frame that I previously purchased. When I went in my father was looking at beds while I checked out the rug section. I let them know that I needed a 12/18 rug. The guy insisted that the rug I was interested in was the 12/18 size and that it would fit the spot perfectly. I get it home, finish the room and go to out the rug in there. Come to find out, they gave me an 8/10 sized rug. When the sales people assisting us went to write up the ticket, the wrote it up with my father who was not present for the size discussion. They put in the invoice that I was not there to see when my father signed it that the rug was 8/10. Bait and switch scam. They promised a 12/18 rug and followed us around the store throwing out discounts. I went in to explain the situation, they called me a liar then went as far as calling the cops and having me trespassed from the property because. The store owner refused to listen to anything I had to say, continued to call me a liar. The people employed here are liars and crooks.

Bob and Sam are great! Bob gave me a queen sized southernland fairview pillow top mattress and box spring for the price they had on a twin bed. The twin bed was 399.99 and the queen bed was 499.99. I got my queen bed for 399.99 which included the queen bed, box spring, and metal frame. Later on, Sam helped me get an actual head and foot wooden bed frame with the head and foot board for only 199.99. My delivery time was also great! they delivered that day and were good on timing, however, they did mess up part of my delivery so I didnt receive my full package the day of. All in All, this is a great place for pricing and they do cater to your financial needs. They help make deals and they are perfect with choosing the right fit for you, but the ladys that work there need to step up their game. i do recommend only dealing with bob, none of the ladys really cater to you.

Salesman was really nice up until we told him we were going to continue to look around to compare and see if we can find other couches. Salesman got really uptight and told my husband and I that if we came back, he wasnt going to give us any deals on any of the couches he was selling. Other than that, its an okay furniture store.

Absolutely awful business. I bought a boxed item, small enough to carry out, got home and found it wasn’t going to work. Took it back the next day, box was unopened, and was told all sales are final, no returns. This is not posted anywhere in the store, or on the receipt, nor did the sales person ever mention it. It’s in very small print on a delivery paper. The manager then says he’ll take the item back but will charge me 40%, when I say why, it’s one day and unopened, he says he’ll only charge 20%. I ask why he wouldn’t refund it all and say taking my money is stealing. He then says because I wasn’t nice he won’t take the item at all and refuses to refund anything and tells me they won’t even hand it back to me except where I brought it in, they wouldn’t even take it to the door. Rude and unethical business.

I would not purchase anything here simply for the fact that when I came in, the gentleman working there had someone on speaker phone trying to collect money and even took her payment information over speaker phone. He saw me walk in but did nothing to protect that persons privacy.

My husband and I were in need of a new King size bed and were recommended to this store by a couple who had bought from this store. Our salesman Sam Hass was OUTSTANDING. We had a lot of questions on the various bed manufacturers and he was able to answer our questions and told us the pros and cons on each. We told him what was most important for us and I actually layed on the bed for almost 25 minutes. It was not cheap, and we didnt expect it to be. We were there on a Saturday and the bed is being delivered today. I would highly recommend Sam, he is a nice young man, knowledgeable, not pushy, and did not rush us. This will be the first store I check for any future purchases. Keep in mind they have items in all price points.

AVOID!!! the lady sitting at the front desk didnt bother to greet me as I walked in. Not even considering I was the only person in the store at that time. Purchased a custom sectional over 4 weeks ago . Spending $3K . We were told it would be a 3 week turn around, as the manufacturer has to build the sectional. Now in week 4 , hoping we will receive this week . Don’t say it’s 3 weeks - just to get the sale . I probably would have been ok with the truth . It’s the lies that I don’t appreciate! Very nice salesman- tried very hard to secure the sale- to the point it was getting uncomfortable.Just tell the truth regarding turn around of your custom items.So they’re now telling me it’s going to be another week folks do your homework do not shop here they quote you three weeks for a custom sectional and keep pushing it back and pushing it back and then they pretty much tell you that you’re screwed and it on the receipt it says not guaranteed they do not care about Customer service shop elsewhereUpdate— yrs later— we purchased the extended warranty, with including repair .. 1 year after we finally received the couch , we moved and asked them to repair a section , that was squeaking ( we barely sit on this couch ) they refused to return calls , didn’t respond to multiple calls , and we don’t live near their store ( moved to Peoria) so, to go to store is very impossible. Do your homework... super overpriced. Don’t purchase here

By far the worst customer service experience I have ever dealt with. I would give a negative star review if I could.Ted greeted us when we came in and showed us couches after telling him what we were looking for. He was helpful at first but very pushy, informing us that the couch was customizable in any way. We were able to choose the style of the couch, color fabric, patterns on couch pillows, even informed us that the legs could be shortened to any desired length.Into the 4th week after purchase I went into the store and ask about the delivery since it had been past the said delivery window of 2-3 weeks. Ted assisted me, scrambling to find paper work, and phoned the warehouse in front of me. Appeared to be some confusion but he was able to inform me that the couch would be delivered to the store that day (coincidentally) and then be delivered to our house the next day.Couch was delivered. Legs were not customized like we asked and 2 of the 5 seat cushions were noticeably squishy vs the rest that were very firm (seemed very odd).Called to inform them of the issues and spoke with Sam who informed me that they do NOT customize the legs, and that he would talk to his sales staff about this (blatant lie) issue. Sam also told me to take the legs off the couch and rest it directly on the floor (we have wood floors and bottom of couch has many staples holding fabric together so this would scratch our flooring). We were told to bring the legs back and new legs would be ordered, delivered and installed.After bringing the legs back into the store I spoke with Ted again about the solution to our leg issue to which he informed me that plastic pegs were being ordered and he would call us when they came in.Me and my wife felt that this solution sounded cheap so we asked for the original legs back in the event we dislike these “new legs” being that we did pay for our couch to come with legs.When we got our phone call for the “new legs” (a day later than said delivery date) my wife called to determine the exact time frame of delivery. Ted answered her call and she proceeded to ask about our original legs back, Ted became very short and rude to her stating that “I am done talking to you” and that someone would call her back to schedule the exact delivery.Karen called back shortly after to schedule the delivery time, afterward my wife asked who the manager was, she informed her that Ted was the manager. My wife asked if Sam was a manager, to which she replied yes. My wife then asked who was the store manager and Karen stated “I don’t have time to answer all of your questions.” This upset my wife and Karen then turned the phone over to Ted. As the phone was being handed over my wife overheard Karen say “I cant deal with this anymore” and Ted then took over and began yelling at my wife and hung up on her.Today we were delivered the said pegs, and yes they are the same kind of plastic pegs with a nail through them (about the size of a nickel) that you can buy from your local walmart store. They did instal them for us and brought us back the original legs for the couch.At the end of the day we felt lied to, taken advantage of, and poorly treated but we did get our couch. If it were possible I would return this couch and get my money back because of our experience with the staff. Time will tell whether or not the couch was quality enough for the price we paid. However, as someone who works in a customer service industry, if I ever acted like these people to my clients I would be out of business.

Good customer service but didnt follow through. Went out of my way to pick up a promised item that they didnt have. Disappointed.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Once you make a purchase you will NOT get a full refund. Read the fine print. Initially I went in looking for barstools and didnt see anything. I said I was going to look at other stores, the salesperson said he said he can order from a catalog. They were very pricey and he gave a great deal and I ordered. I got the impression that he did not want me to leave the store until I purchased something. He asked if I would mind waiting for the barstools, that they would be in by the following week. Ok... 2 weeks have passed, I called and they said they were on backorder and would be in by the end of the month. In the meantime I purchased a high table and didnt need the barstools after all. I went in to cancel the order, since they were on backorder anyway. He said they were coming by the end of the week and could not cancel, yea... He offered store credit for a year and I told him I was very disappointed. I just wanted a full refund! He finally gave me a refund but still kept 30%. I will NOT be going to the new store location!!! Aggravated customer!!!!!!!!!!

I was helped out by A.J. today. I went in just to look at a mattresses and see what was out there. A.J. helped me out through my whole visit. He went over a few different options with me to see which mattress best fit my needs and one that was within my budget. He went way out of his way to help me out today. Honestly hes been the best salesmen I have ever worked with. He was way beyond helpful and kind to the point where I didnt want to go anywhere else. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for furniture. This guy A.J. will go above and beyond for you. If youre reading this AJ, thank you so much my friend! I will definitely be back!

Poor customer service and not great deals on mattresses

Beware of this place and watch your final sale price because they try and add extra charges in at the end. The customer service is seriously lacking when it shouldnt be because theres rarely anybody in the store.

Way too pushy on sales. And when I finally said that I wanted to think it over before signing any paperwork, the manager Sam, turned into a total jerk. Stay away from this place! They are very unprofessional.

We had a very high pressure sales associate that ruined the experience for us, but the furniture selection was good.

I went to this store to buy a furniture. We reached an agreement on a price but it was out of stock. I called the next day to inquire about another furniture, and the salesman told me that they cant do business with me, because I negotiate too much.

I brought mattress from there, they told me its have 1 year warranty but mattress was bad within 8 months and I went over there told about it, they said its just come 1 month so we cant do anything about it. They laid. I am never gonna recommend this place.
