Very good customer service and really try to help you. The guy literally was trying everything he could to help on price and availability. Only bad thing was they don’t sell king size pillows anymore. I was pretty bummed about that because now I have to go buy lower quality pillows for my very nice and expensive purple mattress.

My trip to get a new mattress was unbelievably easy. I told Doug what I was looking for, he showed me 4 different mattresses, I picked one. In and out. Doug was helpful, didn’t push or try to upsell (which would have made me leave), and was friendly and explained everything.

The ladies that helped us were so fun, friendly and professional. They really listened to our specific needs and circumstances and went out of their way to be sure we left satisfied. They even moved a mattress around so we could try it out of the lift that we were interested in. When we found part of our order was back ordered they found a way to split the delivery so my husband could get his mattress as soon as possible and didnt have to wait for the backorder pieces. We decided to go look at mattresses since our friend just bought one and she highly recommended Andrew at Mattress Firm. He knew exactly who we were talking about when we walked in the door and mentioned their names. He was very knowledgeable about the four different beds that we were looking at and was all about making sure we felt comfortable as we were trying out each mattress. Not sure how he knew I needed a pillow between my legs and one in front of my chest as well as under my head and that’s what he gave me to make sure I was in the right sleeping position! I had the pleasure of working with Doug when purchasing my new Purple mattress. Doug took the time to tell (not sell) me about the features and benefits of the Purple mattress. He explained the science behind the Mattresses’s construction and how the construction will provide me with a better restful sleep as well as reduce or eliminate my backache in the morning. I appreciated that I was not “sold to” but rather “told to.” There’s a difference. I did not share with Doug that the previous month I visited the store on Power and the 202 and I was “sold to.” The employee (Robert, store manager) seemed more interested in my purchase and went directly for the Purple 4 (most expensive) and why I needed that particular mattress. I felt like I was at a used car dealership. I was turned off by his approach and knew I would not make my purchase at that store. I wanted and like the Purple mattress but kept researching where else I could make my mattress purchase. I could only find the Purple Web site but I did not want to make a mattress purchase online because my fear of not knowing how to “install” it. Then I decided to try another Mattress Firm location. Visiting the Gilbert Rd. and 202 location and working with Doug was a 180 degrees difference. Doug made my purchase/research experience a more pleasant experience.
