Incredibly good ice cream! Toppings and whipped cream are superb! ❤️

On my first visit, I ordered one scoop of birthday cake in a sugar cone. It was the best birthday cake ice cream I’ve ever had. Super creamy, very realistic cake batter flavor, and “sprinkles” that actually taste good - I think they might actually be pieces of white chocolate. One scoop is gigantic, so beware - I don’t know how they would even fit more than one scoop on a sugar cone. I freezer-burned my tongue, and I don’t even care. I’ll be back later this week for the same flavor. My son wants this flavor on his next birthday. 😁We also love their cookie dough - loaded with cookie dough chunks, delicious vanilla ice cream. Can’t wait to try more flavors.

The best ice cream joint in Champaign. I have taken their ice cream to social events and received lot of appreciation for the ice cream.They have unique seasonal flavors. Out of all different ice cream flavors, I will definitely recommend trying the Blueberry Pie flavor.

Love the burgers. The fries was a little salty but was still good. Could give a little more fries. Also was very upset cause I couldnt get the Petal sauce. Was told that it wont be made anymore. It was the best sauce you had. Also was told there is oy one cup size. Would really like a larger size drink.. The milk here is the best, especially the chocolate milk...

Hands down the best most rich milkshakes in Champaign area. Costly at $7 a pop but worth every last drop. My son and I use it as a special treat.

Basic flavors you would expect out of a ice cream shop. Nothin too special in flavors barring seasonal/limited releases. Never tried the burger side. Employees are always on it, hustling constantly. Good work to them. I recommend just buying the quart for 6.99 vs a menu item. I recommend the honey butter quart :)

Wow! I mean what can I say? This place is absolutely phenomenal everything about this place screams perfection. From the delicious creamy shakes, to the awesome sundaes and the tasty juicy burgers. I’m absolutely obsessed with this place!! Don’t let the prices scare you because this place is definitely off the chains!

Best ice cream weve had in Champaign-Urbana. Lots of flavors to choose from, and all that weve tried have been excellent.

Way to expensive for what you get. Had a root beer float was mostly root beer and cost me $5.29 for mostly soda.

Well lets start with it was 16 for a burger and a milkshake..... 16... my burger tasted like someone either didnt clean the grill or poured a whole bottle of seasoning salt on. I didnt get any fries for 16 but I can say Ive had better burgers from bars. Fast food quality one step above McDonald at best but save your money.

3 scoops of ice cream for $8.10 after tax? I get it, you guys use milk that is so fresh and supporting 40 local families everything but we are not here to feed all 40 of them. I thought I was in San Fran or Paris at this price range

Staff were really nice, shop was neat and clean, location was easy to spot and parking space is large.

Nice location. Seemed pretty clean the only reason I gave it a 4 bcuz the outside seating was sticky. Not sure how often they wipe that down. So I ate the burger and left. Its pricey but I enjoyed the made to order meal. I also got the chocolate birthday cake shake and Pretty good! Comparing it to Culvers Turtle Sunday, I could be bias but Id choose the Turtle Sunday.

Was in the dinning room for 5 minutes and did not get acknowledged. They are overpriced for their snobby attitudes.

My experience here was wonderful!!!! I went through the drive thru and he was so patient and had such a positive attitude. Don’t go to oberweis often but when I do, the service and icecream are always great!We lost our receipt so don’t have the survey code anymore but wanted to leave a review of our experience tonight and how great it was. Didn’t catch his name but the person who served us was super nice and personable. I think he was a manager and after he gave me my shake I thought I should make sure and ask if there were any nuts in the wafer straw it comes with— which he said there were. I know I should’ve told him beforehand I had a nut allergy so I felt super bad about being unable to drink it but without hesitation he said he would make another one for me. Staff looked like they worked along well and it was another good visit for me !

Oberweis and That Burger joint is one of the best places to eat in C-U. C-U is know as a food city, and restaurants like Oberweis is the reason why. The ice cream is pretty much addicting.... In a good way. The burgers are well cooked and prepared fresh. Everything at the restaurant is high quality only!I would definitely recommend!!!

The staff here is incredibly friendly and professional, and they keep a well-running and clean establishment. I tried the blueberry pie ice cream, which was absolutely divine. My husband got a peanut butter chocolate milkshake that I accidentally tried :) and it was SO good...it even had a cookie straw. Also, a couple tables are set up for playing chess, which is fun to do while waiting for treats.

An ice cream paradise. Have any delicious flavor you want in a cup, bowl, cone; lick it, slurp it, drink it or suck it through a straw, its all delicious. Some tables have game boards if you feel like playing checkers or chess. Theres a wall of pints so you can take your favorite flavor home with you, too.

Ice cream is very good, a little pricey. Nice place to visit/hangout. Don’t come for the burgers though...was definitely disappointed in those.

Found the eggnog for my eggnog fix that I was looking for, which is in short supply throughout East Central Illinois. Could not find it any place else, besides considering making it homemade at home, which I have not tried yet and may have to resort to once Oberweis is out of stock.

I went in for a late-night sweet tooth. I ordered a small chocolate shake. The shake was absolutely delicious! Better than any other shakes Ive ever had. The staff was really friendly as well. It can get a bit pricey, so it is definitely a special treat for every once and a while. I will for sure be back in the near future.

Our first visit to Oberweis, but not our last. We split a fantastic peanut butter chocolate sundae that I can’t stop thinking about. The service here is first rate and the location is clean and inviting.

Visited for the first time today and will definitely be back! We ordered Strawberry and Cookie dough ice cream and a Cookie and Cream Frostbite. Everything was delicious! I felt prices were consistent with competition. The employee was super helpful and allowed our 4 year old to sample her choice before committing to it. Restaurant was clean and there were a ton of choices.

Excellent first experience! Cody was very helpful and sweet. He held our hands through the entire decision making process. My husband had the cookie dough ice cream in a waffle cone and I had a cookie dough shake. It was the bees knees! It completely blew Dairy Queen, Marble Slab, and Cold Stone out of the water and onto dry land. Oberweis will definitely have our return business.

I love the ice cream! Peppermint is my favorite...with a little fudge and whip cream. OMG! The Champaign store is so friendly! Oh, and the burgers are darn good as well.

Great ice cream BUT seems to be hit or miss as to how much ice cream you get, so you’re not always getting what you paid for. I ordered a large brownie sundae to go and was given my ice cream in a large cup, which is usually filled with ice cream to the top of the lid, but it was maybe half full. There was a lot more brownie than ice cream and it’s irritating when you spend a good amount of money on something and get only half of what you actually paid for. I DEFINITELY would have said something to the person working the drive thru window if I would have noticed before I got home... Will remember this next time around I am craving ice cream.

Very nice ice cream, but they dont have all of the flavors advertised. I feel its a little bait-and-switch -- some flavors are apparently autumn flavors but thats not indicated on the website. So you go with a specific flavor in mind, wait in line, and then they dont have it. Who would leave at the point without getting anything? I like how many pre-packed flavors they have in the cooler. (With this heat, getting a fresh scoop home is hard.)The restaurant is pleasant and fresh and modern. The staff is friendly, which adds to the experience.I agree that the wait is inexplicably long. Maybe the drive-through keeps everybody very busy, but when we went there were only 2-3 tables and it took maybe 10-12 minutes to get two scoops of plain ice cream (not sundaes, or burgers etc.) Im not sure where or how to improve this aspect. A friend of mine worked at an ice cream parlor in high school and said his hand would ache after scooping hard ice creams for hours.

This is the best ice cream in CU, hands-down. Sometimes Ill even skip all the fun and fancy flavors and just enjoy the simplicity of a scoop of vanilla in a cake cone. They always keep the tables clean, and the atmosphere is friendly.

Food is good, but expensive. Out of milk from the machine seems to be a common issue. I hate waiting in the food line only to go wait in the dairy line to get a milk drink, then wait again in the dairy line for a refill. Last time I was there it was busy. I felt like I was at the fair, just opted to say forget it on a drink. They were out of my first cheese choice that day too. Whomever does the ordering hasnt got it figured out yet. If it is good, it sells...stock more ;)

I ordered from them on DoorDash and they didnt have the ingredients. They told me to get the refund from DoorDash and DoorDash just cancelled the order and kept my money. 0/10 for straight-up theft. I paid ~$30 and received nothing at all. I dont know how they are in person, but I wouldnt order from them on DoorDash. You run the risk of getting nothing and still losing the money.

The food was amazing!!!!!! Shakes were huge! Burgers tasted amazing! And the fries seemed to go in for days!

Best icecream parlor in town. The presentation of the shakes and sundaes is enough to make your mouth water. The icecream is high quality. The service is great. Its a bit pricey and the parking lot is a little confusing.

Ice cream was delicious, we had salted dark chocolate carmel, birthday cake (a huge hit with the 4 year olds), and chocolate marshmallow for the 10 YO. Only issue was the ice cream for us bigger peeps (served in glass sundae cups) was already melting when served. At 37 degrees outside, didnt understand why.

Not my favorite ice cream but that doesnt mean the place was bad. The ice cream was extremely soft and rich. If you lile like your ice cream that way then you will love this place. The mint chocolate chip was not very mint flavored. The waffel cones were very thick and hearty. The atmosphere reminded me of a buger joint. Very clear and staff was friendly.
