Customer service was nice but the employee took forever to replace my key fob battery. And it didnt work after they put it back together. I had to come back 10 minutes later after realizing. They did fix it and apologized but it wasnt a great impression

I have the opposite opinion of some other reviewers. I’m always treated well at the N.Bell Advance. Remember though. These employees are human and have ups and downs in life as we all do. And most likely they’re not paid like professional athletes in order to keep pricing competitive and the CEO probably needs another home or yacht. So when your feeling but hurt enough to leave a bad review please also tell us all where you work so we can come and put you to the test as well.

I had to buy a new battery for my car for my car I had purchased a history in 2016 its now 2021 me 1 I had purchased the gold autocraft battery in 2016 so so I bought the die hard that they carry gold. Always friendly staff staff unhelpful and helpful if you needed.

Ill start by saying that Ive been to Advance Auto on 620, and they are amazing. The managers and the associates are all super personable and eager to help in any way possible. But recently Ive come into this Advance Auto on North Bell two or three times because I live close by. The first time a gentleman would not help me find a part that I needed even though I had the part that I had removed. He just pointed me to the aisle and said you figure it out. The next time I came in to return some of the parts that I had purchased in correctly the first time because I didnt get any help. When I entered, no one was around so I said hello about 3 or 4 times when I turned around I did finally see someone, but he just stood there completely silent, looking at me as if I were crazy. This, I came to find out, was the manager. Luckily Jorge, one of the associates, tried to stick up for the manager saying maybe hes just having a bad day, so I went with it. But now I have to go and return another item and find the correct part and Im dreading walking into this store. I wonder if I can return the item at another Advance Auto?I went back today to return the part. A second manager did help but not before directly telling me you dont have to shop here if you dont like the store, and that he couldnt exchange one of two items because I didnt have the packaging. To top it off, he also told me he felt threatened by my comment about updating my Google review. I reminded him that free speech is protected by the first amendment. He finally did help, but it was like pulling teeth. I will never walk into this location again. I might even avoid AAP altogether from now on. Oreillys and Autozone are both near by as well.

Stood at the counter for a few minutes while I heard folks talking in the back and no one ever came to the counter. I decided to count to 100 before I left, I got to around 80 when the phones started to ring. A person came from the back and answered the phone. (Which took a while to answer) Went again to the back and started talking again. No acknowledgement with me. I walked out.9:35 am 5-15-21

Very friendly. Needed new wiper blades. I They were kind of busy, but it didnt matter. They asked about the vehicle and made some recommendations ,told me they would come right out and install them for me (I didnt even ask them to). Sure enough, 2 - 3 min later someone came out to my car and did it very quickly, and acted like they were happy to it. Its all about customer service.

Patrick has helped me twice with my exhaust issue. Yesterday, he spent a substantial amount of time helping me fit an aftermarket muffler to my ancient Honda. He guessed that I was trying to save money and picked one of the lower cost mufflers. He went through what must have been 20 adapters to make it fit, the right clamps; everything I needed to do the job. This saved me hundreds of dollars. As a single mom, this is a huge help. I successfully installed it when I got home.

My Check Engine Light came on, battery was weak. Went to Advance and asked if they could run diagnostics and also check my battery. I was told theyre not doing that because of the fake pandemic. Drove over to AutoZone and they ran diagnostics on it, fixed the problem in less than 5 minutes! No more Advance Auto Parts for me!

One of the worst buy-online, pick-up in store experiences Ive had. Coupled with really poor customer service in the store.Store associate really couldnt care less about the experience and the manager was tired up with another customer... Talking 15 minutes before even acknowledging me.Rather than waiting any longer I cancelled my online order and went to OReillys and made my purchase. Experienced friendly helpful staff there.

Patrick is very helpful will go out of his way to take care of you. There is not a lot of help in there. On the other hand there is a small heavy set woman you might want to avoid she seems to have an attitude problem. So we have decided to take our business to OReillys on Crystal Falls so much more better service.

Ive used this store for many years. So long that I cant remember buying a car battery at another location. Theyve always been helpful, informative, and installed my battery while I waited. Today, however, I purchased a vehicle battery online (only way to get an offered 15% discount) and went to pick it up at the store 30 minutes later. After picking up the battery, I inquired about the install, as listed on the website. The clerk stated that they dont do that for online purchases. Ridiculous. Just ridiculous. Just lost my business.

I called here today because I wanted to re-print a previous transaction I made at this location. The associate Chris, pulled up the information on his computer but could not print me a receipt, email it to me or even take a screen shot of it. Im trying to collect these records because Im selling my vehicle and wanted to have proof of repairs. I did this very same thing at Orileys, AutoZone, and Discount Tire in minutes, with no issue. Chris basically told me I was out of luck. Nice job AAP! Two thumbs down!

Great! I said Ive got a carburetor question. I figured I would be able to get some help seeing as most of the customers more than likely have older cars that use carburetors. At this point Im expecting the employee to reply with something along the lines of yes i am a knowledgeable and professional staff member who would love to inspire, educate, and problem solve with you about carburetors. Instead he directed me too what seemed like the manager, a slim built guy with a beard and arm tattoos that appeared to be in his mid to late thirties. No problem, this guy must be new to the car world, or maybe his specialty is finding out the right size wiper blades you need for your mini van. He then told the manager, who was on the phone with what seemed like a shop owner they sell parts to, that I had a carburetor question. Without even acknowledging my presence the manger said I dont have anytime to answer questions... I understand that he was busy and i was more than content waiting until he was done with his phone call to have the opportunity to talk to him. But unfortunately he was the only one out of 6 employees that work there who could answer a simple question abut what frikin bracket i need for the kick down cable on my turbo 450 transmission! Knowledgeable, nope... Friendly, I think not... willing to educate and problem solve for me, HA... I left and immediately went to Oreilly Auto Parts and found what I was looking for.

To date, Ive never had a negative experience at Advance.These guys have what Im looking for, decent quality parts, and will not shoo you off or give you a blank stare if they dont have something in stock; theyll hunt it done at another store.I cant give them 5 because they are a big box store chain and therefore pricier than what I can get online, but when I need something today and I call someone at Advance, they do what they can to get my part.

I was disappointed because I literally waited and saw 3 employees walk past me and no one helped me. A guy finally spoke to me and when he did, all I need was my battery charged and tested, he told me he would need to go get somebody. So needless to say, I left very upset because no one helped me and I walked out. I would recommend that you go to the location on 620 if you need help with anything auto related including making a purchase!

Im so upset with this company. I had to drive 80 miles for them to charge my battery. I had to wait while the battery was charging. Everytime the battery gets cooler 30s the battery dies. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN.

Wow. These guys turned an annoying situation into a pleasing experience. Car battery was dead. Had planned on yanking the old battery out of my car and catching a ride from my daughter over to AAP in Cedar Park. Luckily, they are just around the corner from me. But, Sergio at AAP encouraged me to bring my car to him, and he would do everything: test the old battery to be certain that was the problem; hook my car up to a portable power source while switching out the batteries so I wouldnt have to reset my on-board navigation/satellite codes and settings; clean the terminals; all for just the price of the parts. So, I got my car started, and drove to AAP. Sergio had set aside the right battery for my car and needs, and he and Wilbur were quick to get me fixed up. I was in an out of there in less than 20 minutes.Its comforting to know that customer service is still important to some companies, and its even more comforting to do business with people that actually enjoy their work.Home run, gentlemen!
