Had an appointment set for 4pm. I arrived at around 2:30 to complete paperwork before hand. I asked the guy that checked me in, if they would service me prior to my appointment or if I should come back, (they told me they’d get me in earlier). I was supposed to get a Oil change, battery check & inspection. It is now 5:28 & I’m still here leaving this review. I have watched people pull up randomly & get their cars checked or air in their tires by techs that have services are ongoing. They seriously have no sense of thorough urgency. I don’t plan on coming here again.

0 stars if I could. I came here in June to replace a tire from a nail. Fast forward to last week when I began to notice some noise coming from the driver side of the wheel. It would make noise when I was on the hwy and small roads. Turned my car in at a dealership to have them check it out and turns out one of the worker from this location forgot to bolt the lug nuts on tight so my wheel was just moments away from falling off my car. This is super dangerous as I couldve gotten in an accident with my family in my car. Never going here again. Please avoid if you can.

I WAITED THREE HOURS TO GET MY SERVICES COMPLETED. I appreciate the price of quality tires and the discount I was provided for being a first responder but I wouldve paid full price versus waiting that long to get my services done if I was given the option. I got four brand new tires and an oil change. I was a long time Discount Tire customer and decided to try NTB again because they had tires I wanted to try. I have never waited more than an hour and ten minutes maybe there at Discount Tire. That wait time at NTB turned me off completely from wanting to come back. The workers also never came and gave updates (we had to come ask them) or even seemed to care that their customers were waiting for long periods. They werent rude when interacting with them but they didnt do anything special to show customer appreciation for waiting so long. I wasnt the only one either just fyi. There were people that came in for minor issues like one lady with a leaking tire that was there for over an hour. I think they need to hire more garage workers for sure.

I went in about two weeks ago for a full inspection for my suspension system. James was so nice and broke down everything going on with my vehicle and printed it off for me. He was very kind and so understanding about everything. Thank you for your great service!

This place was great with excellent service from Pat and the other workers. They explained everything that they were doing and took just an hour.Went to Valvoline because my a/c went out a month ago, and they charged me $150 to run it through a machine. The machine didnt work and they said the money was unrefundable. I came here and they found it was just a fuse and some freon and just was way cheaper.

I dropped off my Buick Lacrosse on a Monday before closing for them to check why the ac was cooling. I was notified on Tuesday the lines needed to be flushed and it would be $180. When I spoke to the manager Amanda twice she informed me my car would be ready by end of day. I didnt pick the car up on Wednesday because I needed to have someone take me. On Thursday, I called to check to see if the car was ready. I was told it was completed and ready to go. When I got there Thursday evening, and ready to check out, thats when they realized the car was not ready and that the ac needs a new compressor cost of $850.When I asked why no one called and informed me of this after having my car all this time. When I asked Amanda why she didnt contact me- she stated she wasnt involved in that. I said no but you are the manager and when I spoke with you two days ago you informed me that my vehicle would be ready by end of day. And today after I called and was told it was ready, I get here and its not ready not only that now I am told its something totally different which is going to cost $850. So we have went from $180 to $850. She acted like it didnt phase her one bit. Did not attempt to even try to resolve their mistake. I took my vehicle and left. This is not good customer service and I am a Manager in the customer service field and I would not allow this at all. Steve the sales person was very apologetic and concerned. In my opinion he needs to be the manager. I will not recommend this company to anyone. I have already informed coworkers and friends not to take their vehicle to this location. 6 HOURS to do an inspection and put on 2 tires. Rudeness to top it off. And they didn’t even air up the tires properly. UPDATE: It gets better. After being unable to register my car online for a day, I called the location to find out why the inspection report had not yet been uploaded, so the state can verify it. They said they were having computer problems, so there is no way they can do that, I just have to take the paper copy into the tax office. I would have gone somewhere else to begin with if they had told me that up front. That is an ESSENTIAL piece of their operations.

I chose this place because I live in the neighborhood. First appointment was on Monday and I was told to reschedule for Wednesday because business is slower. Showed up Wednesday there was one guy working and I was told the alignment guy does not come in until Thursday. Also the guy says that since the black guy became the new manager 3 people quit and no one shows up for work anymore. Now I dont know if the black guy is a bad manager OR if someone is bitter because they were not promoted. Even though the guy who helped me today seemed okay with helping black people, he was not. Whatever is going on in this place is Bad for Business. Moving on.

From the first time I ever drove into this business for a tire repair and was greeted by the very friendly Steve Lira I knew that it would not be my last visit to this establishment. I recently purchased a tire there after a blow-out and was amazed at the reasonable cost that I paid for it as well as the ease in for the appointment on a very busy Friday at the end of the day. Amanda, the manager, assured me that she would find a slot for me and get me taken care of. It was certainly worth it to have my car towed to their business as opposed to the ones that were suggested by my insurance company. Waiting over 4 1/2 hours to get 4 tires and a diagnostics check. Was quoted that the eta would be 1 to 2 hours. I left without the diagnostics being done because I have other things I need to do.I have a couple of things in this cubby section of my car that were moved so they were digging through my stuff. There wasn’t nothing there they would have needed to change my tires.I also have a breathalyzer on my car so I have to start it for them. I informed them that it would do a random retest and to get me so I could do it. They did not get me so I have two failing tests that’ll go straight to the judge.While I was there there were two different customers that the employees in the front got into argument matches with- While I think I would have been in the right to confront them about my stuff being rummaged through and the missed breathalyzer tests I was neither of those people that had heated exchanges with the employees. Maybe if I wasn’t so laid back it would have been three.

I made an appointment to come in and get 4 new tires. I walked in and they greeted me, and within 10 minutes I was told me my car was pulled in and they were starting. About one hour and fifteen minutes later, I was told there was a problem and that they could only find two of the four tires. I was so taken back as to how it took one hour and fifteen minutes to tell me they were short two tires. I needed the tires so I said ok, and I would come back when they got the other two tires in stock. It was literally another hour and a half until they had the two tires on...so again, made an appointment, and three hours later they were done...with putting two tires on.I contacted them four days later to see if they had the tires, I was told their shop was closed Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and that their stock hadn’t arrived yet (this was on Monday). I am 100% positive I was just lied to...I finally received a call the four days later stating the tires were in. I again, made an appointment to come in and get the other two tires. I walked in and it took about 5 minutes to even be acknowledged (with three employees standing within 6 to 10 feet in front of me). Although it didn’t take three hours this time, it did take an hour and forty five minutes.One of the worst experiences ever. I won’t be back.

I dont know where to start with this NTB Cedar Hill tx...Took my car in for ac repair, they broke the mounting bolt in the process....They kept the car for twelve days...Needless this that is when the run around began...After multiple attempts 2 times keeping the car up to a week eack time ,with Associated Amanda Megriggs...not fixed...This third time was anything but a charm...This fellow Patrick Gordon ...WOW....Im reading these reviews and look like this guy is a rock star as long as things are going as planned...took the car in ,they kept it a week. Go to pick it up not only was the repair not done, they worked on something else, and said that he FORGOT about working on the bolt.SMHWhen ask what was that about this dude went left, told me that that he was not going to work on the car anymore and to take it somewhere else and that he was going to call the cops on me if I didnt leave ...This was an UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE with this guy...

Dropped off my vehicle Monday afternoon around 2:00pm. I was told they could squeeze me in right before closing and it would be ready in the morning. I just got off the phone at 1:30pm Tuesday and asked about my vehicle, the lady sounded like she had an attitude and kept cutting me off to talk with customers in the store very unprofessionally. Then she continued on to asked for my last name and phone number and stated she couldnt find me. She advised that I was not in the system and the mechanic did not know what to do with my vehicle so it never moved. At this point I no longer need the alignment done because it would not be ready in time. This is my first time trying you guys out and it wasnt what I was expecting.

Good quick repair on our brakes. I still think these national corporations charge too much for labor and parts. Our need was met and that is why I give them cinco stars. They were courteous and most helpful. But we are still looking for a Saturday open local shop. Until we find that shop, I will use NTB when needed.

I really wish the GM of this store would look at these reviews and change something (i.e. hire more staff) since it’s apparent my experience is a common thing here. I had an “appointment” at 5:30 and showed up 10 mins early. The only thing I needed done was 2 tires put on. I thought I would be done in 30 minutes, especially since I made an appointment. After waiting over an hour I look out and my car is just sitting with the tires next to it waiting to be put on. I ended up waiting over an hour and a half in total (after complaining and the associate going out and expediting it getting done). The person working the front seemed stressed and you could tell he was trying his best because they were short staffed. But, it’s obviously ALWAYS like this here according to all the other reviews. Unfortunately I won’t be back because of this experience.

What is the point of making an appointment here? I had an appointment at 1pm, showed up at 12:50 pm to get checked in, only to have my truck sit where I parked it till around 2:45 pm, when I asked, they said they had gotten some online orders that took up some time, and that my truck wouldn’t be ready until after 5:30 pm. Why even make an appointment then? The staff was friendly and apologetic, but ultimately I had to leave without service due to time constraints.Don’t come to this location if you value your time.

I dont normally share a negative review but, all I can say is dont take your car here . Very long waits. Two hours to put on two tires. They then told me I needed control arms changed. They quoted a price of 1360.00. I then took it to a very reputable mechanic who checked them. Said they were fine. They also told me my tires were fine when I took it in a few months prior to this visit. In fact they were in terrible shape. Now I am stuck with a warranty I will never use. Consumer beware.

I was told that my tire could not be repaired because the nail hole was too close to the edge and that NTB policy did not cover the inner and outer tread which was where the nail was. Approximately 1 inch from the edge.

This store is very unprofessional as far as customer service, went to get a TIRE fixed took 1 hour and 45 minutes, they took car in bay sit in the bay for 1 hour and 20 minutes with the tire off. A customer called and was put on hold for 30 minutes waiting to talk to the manager who never talked to her, the next associate answered took her call she told him shed been holding for the manager who was standing at the next stand up desk and would not take her call, I have bought plenty of tires from NTB, but Im done with NTB, Im trying Discount tires the next time I need tires. Done with NTB!!

The people they have changing your oil here are idiots. I went in for an oil change and noticed a puddle where I park the car the very next day. So I took it back to them and they looked at it and said it was not them, the front seal was leaking.I made an appointment with the dealer but the gave me an appointment for 3 weeks out. So I checked the oil level and saw that it had been over filled by at least 1 quart. So I take it to a mechanic and he checks it out and does an oil change, and fills a 7 quart pan, this freaking car only takes 4 quarts. By the look of the oil, they didnt drain the old oil, and attempted fill it with fresh oil. I will never again take any of my vehicles there and will warn anyone that will listen to me.

If I could give this place a zero I would. I haven’t done lexperienced customer service like this in awhile. They have a young man changing the oil on my car that has to constantly ask coworker for assistance. On top of that my appointment was at 12 and my car sat in the bay for hour and they didn’t touch it. It’s now 45 minutes later and still not finished. I have spoken to manager and she really does not care one way or another. I have contacted there corporate office as well. Beware as they have workers that can even do a simple oil change. I will not come back here!

Arrived at 2pm with an appointment to get the engine checked so I can pass my inspection. sat there until 5:30 pm waiting for an update, not terribly helpful, as a first time car owner I felt under appreciated and lost, and alone. I will not be returning, and will find a local shop that can explain, and show me the problems. Mostly agitated about their lack of time management, I was told two hours, it was six by the time I left.The man that helped me was nice though.

I just moved to cedar hill and I was looking for a place to start talking my Nissan frontier truck when I went to do an oil change the front desk person was very rude maybe she was having a bad day! I asked her a few questions about the Service I was about to do. She said she didnt have the answer and if we were having a problem! I dont like rude people so I wont be taking them my business again. Plus they advertise one price and when you get there its another one. Plus they tell you anything over 5 quarts is an extra charge my Nissan manual says 4-3/8 quarts the stats they use say 5-3/8 quarts?

I bought my vehicle in for a simple tire rotation left with a ruptured brake line. The managers explanation was that my vehicle which only has 56.000 miles must have had an existing issue and the work performed by NTB and the ruptured brake line was purely coincidental even though I immediately lost brake pressure after leaving the Cedar Hill TX location store #783. The manager Amanda McGriggs was not at all helpful and refused to repair the damage sustained to my vehicle for which NTB is clearly responsible. I strongly suggest NOT doing business with this poorly managed branch.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. Dropped my car off and they told me it would be 2 hrs. After 2 hrs I had to call and check that status of my service, woman on the phone said 45 minutes it would be ready. Waited an hour to come and pick it up and it still wasn’t ready. They told me it would be another 15 minutes. By this time, it was 6:15 and they closed at 7pm. Came the next morning at 8am, still wasn’t ready. Had no excuse, no reason. Just horrible customer service.

This place is clean. However, expect to wait an hour or longer extra then was told (even with appointment). Only “one bay was open” they seemed to have overbooked or took too many cars at once. Front desk only had one clerk. When my truck was done they had to find the mechanic for my keys. Paperwork wasn’t completely filled out on their end so that added more time. Don’t plan on coming back. They didn’t care that I was upset for the wait. Don’t waste your time here. The clerk that didn’t check me in also tried to argue with me about What time my appointment was. He tried to say it was two hours later than what it was.

They were great! Got me in and put on a new tire very quickly. The employees and manager were nice, efficient and organized. One thing I really noticed was the bathroom. Most businesses like this have nasty bathrooms. This one was spotless and even decorated nicely! So great job to the ones in charge. I was a little hesitant to use a national company to get my tire changed on my trailer. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Jabar and was taken care of immediately! There waiting room had coffee, news, and comfortable seating. My overall experience was great and makes me want to come back. There prices were even better than some other local stores and I ended up saving money. I highly recommend you give them a shot.

When I called to discuss this, the manager was rude & instantly said she was not taking responsibility for it. I swear if my dad did not have an NTB credit card, Id NEVER step foot into one because this location isnt the only 1 thats incompetent. I brought my car in at 12:15. He told me it would be 2 hours and I told him fine Ill leave it and come back. 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours went by and I hadnt received a phone call. I called at 4:30 and he said they have yet to start on my car and they are about to because they had a lot of cars before me. I knew it was BS but I hung up. 5:50 comes and still I hear nothing. I went up there at 6:15 and I saw my car was back there, but just sitting. He waited on customer and went to the shop, came back, waited on a customer that came in after me and said nothing to me. Pretty sure he went back to tell the mechanic to begin working on it. Here it is almost 7 and I still do not have my car. The bastards kept putting my car off because I wasnt there. It was only 2 damn cars here when I came initially. No way my car should have been at this place for 6 damn hours. I wont say anything too bad now because they have my car and I want it done right, but the minute they pull it around he is getting cursed out! Never will I return to this crap hole. I dropped my car off overnight after being explicitly clear the vehicle was going on a long road trip next week and that at least one tire needed replacing and would they please check the others. After a day of downtime with no car I go to pick it up today, no new tires and was told the tread was fine. Even someone with no automotive training can clearly see at least one tire is NOT fine. Wonderful way to waste an entire day when I could have gone elsewhere and actually received a safe tire to drive on.

Waist of time. Every time I go there they ask me for all this information . Ive been there before and they should have everything on file . Last time I went there I needed a tire they asked me to leave my vehicle there . before I left it I asked her , you sure you have the tire , I know they are special tires and they said yes we have it. So I left my vehicle and got sombody to pick me up . Soon as I got home 20 min later they called me saying they dont have my tire and they would have to order it. Waist of time had to get a ride again and go pick up my vehicle to take it to a competitor.

This location has been open for only a few short months but the service is AWFUL! I looked forward to having them closer to my home. What a disappointment. Today, I walked in to find one of the sales associates standing behind the countertop/register with his head down. I stood there silent for about 7-10 seconds before he finally raised his head and asked me for assistance. If he was ill, I understand. But you are working in a service industry so at least acknowledge the customer. I could have respected that. He gave me a quote, stopped serving me to assist another customer standing behind me even though I was not done. Gave me no information on the tires he was looking up for me. No information on comparable tires for the price or the vehicle I was placing them on. No customer service other than the bare minimum. So 1-star rating is equivalent to the bare minimum. He let a possible $800+ purchase walk out the door. This is my second and LAST time going to this place.

I was in town from Houston and got a flat tire. Unfortunately this location did not have the specific tire I wanted, but sold me a more expensive tire that would fit. I was told I could drive home on my spare, and return the unused tire at a local Houston NTB, and get the specific tire I wanted. When I got back to Houston I was told there are no returns, even if the tire is unused. When I called back to talk with the manager in Cedar Hill she said they never told me I could return the tire. I guess when I was specifically told I could return an unused tire, or even if it was used had 30 days to return it, I must have miss heard her. Thats a crazy thing to hear if she said no we dont accept returns.If I wasnt lied to about the return policy, I would have just gone to another tire store in the area that had the specific tire I wanted. Its shame some people treat others like this. Its a real shame when someone like that becomes a manager in a customer facing role.

I bought (4) tires from NTB and need (1) replaced. I called to make sure they had the replacement so that I could go by and get it done. I was put on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up, called back and she whined: Im all by myself, can you just wait?! I said no, Id go somewhere else. She hung up. Ill never shop NTB again. Just about every location has low ratings.

Their customer service is awfuuuuul! I mean unless you want to be sitting around a tire shop longer than it would necessarily take to do whatever you need them to do, I would not suggest coming here for tire service. They are slow, and Its like they were ignoring my presence when I pulled up to the garage. Maybe it is just me getting this bad experience but so far all my visits have been 1 or no stars lol by far THEEE WORST tire shop in Cedar Hill, Tx

Didnt rotate my tires, which was clear from examining tread depth and recognizable marks on my wheel covers. Didnt fill my washer fluid due to stock insufficiency, but at least informed me that I can buy it at Walmart for a couple of bucks. Service took over an hour and twenty minutes despite arriving on time for an appointment.Despite this, it appears I got my oil changed, so good job on that part.*EditCustomer service was thorough and effectively resolved the problem

Went in at 800 am for oil change and tire rotation. Service was slow over 1 hour. The waiting area is as expected. Although I noticed for a shop they did not have any car magazines. Staff are friendly, however they did try to up sale me an alignment and my tires are wearing completely evenly. I personally take offense when these shops try to up sale.😤

Super slow! Booked a appointment online for 1 oclock. Showed up 15 minutes early. My car, did not get pulled in until 2. Now almost 5 still just sitting on the rack. We were almost done, but the stupid Tech was pulling out my car and hit the gas jumped the curb and almost smashed into their building. What an idiot! Now theyre pulling it back in to Check-out the front end.

They need some more help. Theyre running around frazzled.Edit: Update, 9 months later, I had a appointment, was told it would be 45 minutes before they could even speak to me and put in the work order for a simple oil change. I am certainly done with this location. I hope all NTB are not the same. They are understaffed. And, they scheduled myself and another woman for the same time... Why would you do that knowing that the staff if insufficient to produce the results the customers need. I changed my plans around for the morning, now it was all wasted effort. Just like this post possibly.lost 1 more star

I will follow this mechanic anywhere! Jeremy Brown is the only mechanic Ive ever met who can do it all and is good at it! Its hard to find a mechanic you can trust but he is definitely one of them. Im confident there is nothing he cant fix!
