This is one of my best to go store. I love what they sells there however my comment today is about a very friendly agent his name is (Khalid) if I want to describe the real customer service and I work in customer service it’s REALLY him. Khalid always goes way beyond his ways for customer’s satisfaction by asking how am I doing?, and If I found everything alright..etc. He also asks if I have a store rewards. I Went three times when Khalid was there and I know I’m not going to worry because he is such a helpful man. Thanks!

Purchased a couch & kitchen table. Keyana was great! We really enjoyed working with her. She has a good personality & is super kind. Before we came to big lots we went to Ashley Furniture & had a pretty terrible customer service experience. So glad we decided to stop at Big Lots & look around. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

I usually go to the Big Lots and the employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. I would refer to everyone. They have what you need and prices are reasonable. They keep the store stocked most of the time........,............

Big lot have some home essentials tems that I do not found in other departmental stores. Sometimes they have unique colors and varieties but again you have to hunt for it. Or fortunate to get it at right time else they will go off the shelf easily. Having membership can benefit you for savings and coupons applied. So keep watvhing prices as well they bring it down sometimes and may found cheap deal too..

The only cashier was tied up with one customer for at least ten minutes before I left the line and left the store. That is poor customer service, plain and simple. I will shop elsewhere.

They had just what I was looking for. And more! Very helpful associates.

Love the new reorganization of the store! It has been at least year since coming here, and I like the changes. Easier to browse and find things. Expanded furniture section with actively interested and friendly salesperson to help, although we were just looking this time. Big Lots has a wide variety of furniture and home decor, outdoor decor, and health and beauty products. Small food section, a few clothing options, and very limited toy selection. Fun to look and discover something that you regularly buy elsewhere for cheaper here!

After several stores I finally found the couch I was looking for. The lady that helped me was nice and helpful. She knew her job and that was very much appreciated. Thank you again!

Big Lots not just a ones that used to be and the store needs to be restocked badly

The Durham store seemed better. This store had a lot of things out and mixed up. The workers didnt seem too engaged with their customers.

We went to purchase a TV stand unfortunately the stand wasn’t a good fit for our us. Our experience was fantastic thanks to Key! She was very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. If more furniture is required this location will be our first pick. First impressions are lasting and Key made a great one.

Very polite and helpful cashier/greeter. All employees on duty wore masks properly and were practicing social distancing. Cashier line has social distancing floor marks at least 6 feet apart.

Bought my son bedroom set here a few weeks ago and they were very helpful and provided great info in regard to putting it together.

This wasnt a shopping visit, but a pick up, delivery, and assembly mission for a friend. I personally found the Staff helpful and quite friendly. I have a habit of engaging Customer service persons in conversation about a variety of things, and I get a feel from the interaction which OFTEN gets me feedback on how much they like their jobs. I parted by giving the gentleman a handshake and wishing him a wonderful rest of the day! I would gladly patronize this Big Lots Store again, and I hope for a pleasant shopping experience!

The Big Lots in Cary has under gone a tremendous overhaul and is now SO much more attractive than EVER! The cleaner appearance made me stay much longer than Id planned!The layout is beautiful and MUCH easier to find things. The whole experience was delightful! Ill be back!

I found precisely what I needed at incredibly low prices.

Not a good place for curbside pickup if you are immune compromised. They left me on hold for over 30 minutes when I came to pick up my order. After finally hanging up and calling back, they put me on hold again. Finally a young person came out to help. He talked into my car asking for the name on the order. He had a mask on but under his nose!

Love the store. However!!!!! Went in to purchase a bed for my daughter and the man at the service center asked me can he help me at the same time that another customer rudely came up behind us and asked where can he pay for his stuff before I was even able to get a half of breath out. The worker proceeded to tell the guy he could pay with him. Like just totally disregarded the fact that I was standing right in front of his face. I went back to look at more beds than went back when he was done but he looked right at me and continued to help others. I’ve bought furniture from Big Lots plenty of times but I don’t need to kiss nobody hind end to spend MY money!!! Went to the Big Lots in Fuquay Verina where I know the people are more respectful.

They dont have prices on a lot of items in the store.

Used to be THE place to go to find good deals. Not any more. Prices keep going up on everything you can find cheaper somewhere else. Entire store circles around showpiecing the furniture. No good deals on furniture either.

I had a very good experience shopping at the Cary Biglots! The sales clerk Kisha was very helpful and very friendly. I was shopping the previous day and she helped me redeem coupons. The following day I returned for a pickup order and she remembered me and was so friendly. Made me feel good! I felt in the mood to buy! So I did! I will be back. Customer service is great. Also the person helping load big items in my car was so friendly. Sorry I dont know name.

Never has anything in stock other than a few damaged pieces of furniture. Staff could care less about helping. Place is run down. Teied to sell us broken floor models for 25% off. Wouldnt even pass for fire wood....

I went to big lots looking for a sofa. A guy named Mazin was extremely rude when I asked him if I could buy one I liked. He said that he wasn’t going to waste his time to go in the back and look. I was completely taken back by this. I asked him again stating that maybe one could have been overlooked and he said he just knew there weren’t any and that was that. I told him that he was being rude and his response was that it was only a part time job and he didn’t care. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I wouldn’t recommend anyone to shop at this location! At least the manager Roz, was polite and tried to apologize for his behavior.

Cashier and stock clerks gave pleasant greetings to us and we noticed the change of layout with furniture at the front area prominently displayed. Even while shopping, employees made sure we found all we needed. A Very nice change!

I love big lots but rarely go

Nothing special there. No purchases made. Store was neat and organized. Good selection of merchandise and competitive pricing.

Store could have better displays at the front and at least 2 cashiers at all times to prevent waits. Otherwise, great selections for home decor, particularly for college students, first time renters and first time homebuyers. Good deals on garden supplies also.

Big Lots was great. But the service was a little slow today. We found something really cute for Christmas.

Nice Big Lots and very clean. Prefer this one compared to the one off NC 55 in Durham. Come here and shop for things for my family home about 3x per year. Good selection of headphones, but gave only 4 stars since some of the items went up in price and are cheaper at the Dollar Stores. Usually very friendly checkout clerks.

Nice store, good selection but the help is so so slow. Everytime I go in there it takes over 10 minutes to ring someone up. Too many questions they ask you also while checking out. You can be personal and polite but speed up the checkout process. If 3 or 4 people in line they will not open another register. Once the full remodeling starts no telling how long it will take then.

I never leave empty handed. You will always find something,whether you need it or not.

Horrible service, 20 minutes and nobody say hi do you need help? First I thought maybe they were very busy, but when I saw all the white people arrived after me and they attend them very nicely I conclude that it was because I am Mexican, and I felt that I was not welcome in that store

I love big lots. Cant always guarantee theyll have the same things but if youre willing to accept close substitutes some times then youre fine.Also, the staff at this location seems much friendlier than other locations Ive visited.

I guess it was pretty standard for a Big Lots. Lots of things you didn’t even know you were looking for and a few that you might’ve been. Prices are good. The store is not super neat, but I think that’s just because there’s so much in there. A few of the associates greeted me during my visit recently, but probably the same amount did not acknowledge me at all. That didn’t make or break the visit, because I didn’t need any assistance so I can’t say they were not helpful.

You know what youre going to get when you shop Big Lots, and this store is no different, except that Ive enjoyed the service more here. Staff has always been helpful, and the checkout process quick and easy. I focus mainly on seasonal decorations or housing goods. I even got my dining room table here with 6 chairs that have miraculously survived almost 8 years without failing. Not all the furniture is like this, but select pieces are.

The place has gone way downhill this year. The staff, if you ever see one, no longer speaks English, but some sort of dialect from the middle east. She did not respond to me when I nicely said excuse me to go around her mess. And, the couple that works there together will not move out of your way. The store is in a state of hiring cheap help and it shows. But, its a good place to do some basic shopping. It is well lit inside.

There looking for large storage bins with snap on lids. Everything was cheaply made out of this plastic. I would have liked a better quality container at a lower price.

Large clean store with excellent customer service staff and managers. Kenneth the store manager has helped me on several occasions to make things right and I appreciated his genuine concern for his customer, every time.

This Big Lots is great. Always nice and clean. The employees are very nice and go out of the way to help you. At the register they never stand around like drones but instead engage you in at least some conversation.

I went to pick up a few paper plates but ended up walking around the store. They had some great deals on left over Christmas wrapping paper that I couldnt pass up. I grabbed some cookies from there food section and even snapped a few pics of some furniture, sectional sofa to see what the wife thought about it. Needless to say I was surprised about what I found.

Staff is friendly & helpful, love the discount pricing. Wish they would fix the glitch in their credit card machine or at least put a sign in the machines...their system gave a decline on a debit card when I had $1500 in the bank, & I thought I was going to have a heart attack! Turns out that the option MasterCard Debit is actually for credit cards?!?

It had been about 5 yrs. since I visited a Big Lots. Lots of great choices from Bluetooth speakers, food, garden supplies and more! The staff was very wonderful and the store was clean.

Not a bad store. Wide variety of slightly older or off brand stuff. Got a mouse there, however, and the contacts and such were busted in package. So watch for the quality of some of the stuff...but then again, you kind of already know that.

They didnt have what I wanted. Simple floor lamps. Ended up shopping somewhere else.

Customer service was slow, but I love my daughters bed! Failed attempt for my husband to purchase from another store and I got what I was looking for here with quick turnaround time.
