The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is so welcoming to all. The coffee and pastries are decent but not quite spectacular. However, it beats any chain coffee shop by far. Well be coming back again.

Stopped in on a whim this afternoon - my husband and I were out on a drive, on the hunt for coffee, and saw that this place had gotten great reviews. Very glad to have found it! I had a lovely conversation with the owner, John, and he even gave me a cold brew sample and a discount on my purchase since it was my first time visiting. My latte was delicious as well! Way better than chain coffee. Will definitely be back again.

I basically live here. For convenience, really. But, I am glad I do. I have met so many people that either work or go there. Its really a Local, Neighborhood friendly coffee shop. Its awesome.

This place is so chill and friendly! I live in Chapel Hill but I keep coming back to work remotely at this local gem for a different and refreshing vibe. Besides, the drink selection is cosmopolitan and the staff members genuinely make their welcome (and wifi password) visible. What more could I ask for?

This is a brand new coffee and tea shop with a wonderful friendly staff and they have a real loose leaf tea with great variety!!! Yes!!! No tea bags, Thank you. Real Tea! I was so happy to see that. The prices are very high for tea though although the space is really great for meetings and for fun and for hangouts. Really glad they are open and can’t wait to come back again and again.

I went to Sweetwaters for the first time for a date on Valentines Day. The atmosphere was great and the staff were wonderful. I got the Oolong tea (which had just the right amount of body) and the chocolate cake (which was warmed up with ice cream). Both were great and I highly recommend you stop by!

Nice little coffee shop with very friendly staff. I come here often to work on coursework and my family enjoys coming here after visiting the clubhouse. They provide quick service and the food and drinks are high quality. Prices are reasonable as well. Coffee, sandwiches, and pastries are great. Havent tried the tea.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming, the coffee was below average. One staff member continuously pulled down her mask while preparing product and when speaking to other coworkers. This is unacceptable and not food safe.

We visited this morning for the first time during a bike ride in the community. Ordered two Frappes (one mocha flavored) and we shared a cinnamon scone. The shakes were amazing, and the scone was delicious. We met the owner, who welcomed us enthusiastically as newbies, and the server was terrific. We sat outside, and they brought it out to us. Great way to relax, and re-energize as we continued our ride. These places took a tremendous hit during Covid, and we were happy to patronize them as they try to regroup. Well be back, and will bring friends!

Been coming to Sweetwaters for about 6 months. The staff is very friendly and will go above and beyond to make sure you are enjoying your stay. The sun is out, the birds are chirping, come join us this spring at Sweetwaters!

Our Elementary school just did a spirit event with Sweetwaters Coffee and Tea and the coffee was FANTASTIC! I got the Dreamy vanilla cold brew and my kids loved the pastries! The staff was super friendly. I will definitely be back!

Just moved to the area and have been on the hunt for a new coffee shop and I am so happy that I found Sweetwaters! The coffee is the best I have had at any coffee shop in a long time and the people that work there are awesome. Crystal, the manager, is so friendly and gives the perfect food and drink suggestions! Upon a recent visit to Raleigh from out of state, I had the privilege of visiting this coffee shop. I’m always on the hunt for the perfect almond milk latte when I travel to new areas and this place certainly did not disappoint! Loved the atmosphere and the variety of sweet treats that they offered! I even had to hit it for a second time while I was in town! I love trying new places, especially when the experience is a fabulous one! Keep up the good work Sweetwaters crew!

My go to coffee shop!! The staff is always pleasant and greets you when you walk in. I love the extra convenience of their app that I can use to order on my way and it’s ready before I get there. The cafe is always clean & I truly appreciate their dedicated efforts to enforce COVID protocols.

It was our first time here and it was a fantastic experience! Crystal answered all our questions and made some delicious drinks, in addition to telling us about the area and giving us a couple menu samples. I cant wait to come back and try some more!

My friend and I went a couple weeks ago and we cant say enough good things. I dont know the names of the people who were on staff, but it was a girl and boy each with blonde hair. So nice and accommodating. My friend said the latte he tried is his now all-time favorite and thats saying a lot for him. I got the Greek mint herbal tea and they replaced my cup no questions asked when I put part of the tea bag back inside and it exploded inside the cup lol. Highly recommend for a quaint and semi quiet but still within a community setting. The very homey ambiance and selection were fantastic, and the bathrooms were super clean. I look forward to coming back here again!

It’s a great location and the ambience is wonderful. Unfortunately, there are 2 basic issues:1- The coffee here is consistently below average. It’s better than gas station coffee but that’s not a high bar. It just doesn’t taste good.The food lacks in variety or taste. It is shipped in and not freshly made here.2- The folks that work here don’t understand how coffee is made or how it’s important to have good coffee at a coffee shop. It’s never hot either.I hope they turn it around.

Since they opened this has been my go to spot. I love their Ginger Fizz drink, refreshing and tasty especially when its super hot outside. I would recommend this place and the staff are super friendly.

I had a great experience here. The staff was super friendly. It was really quiet while we were there. Its a great place for a meeting. The drinks are good, not the best, but not the worst. I would say a lot of their crafted drinks are on the sweeter side, so just be wary. With that, the staff is super friendly and actually made a different drink for one of our friends who didnt love what they got. I would go again. The cappuccino was very good!

I just stopped to have a cup of coffee after a bike ride with a friend and met the new owner, John. He was very friendly and the coffee was amazing. The barista made my Americano perfectly! I will definitely be giving them my business. They have a lovely patio for sitting outside and relaxing while you drink your coffee or have a snack!

Not my thing. I understand it’s called SWEET water but to me coconut water is sweet enough. We got a strawberry freeze, chocolate cappuccino, and GF browny. All of that was inedible sweet. yikesOh yes and barista was holding my disposable cup without wearing gloves. She came out of the shop and was holding the cup and covering the lid with her hand. This is an excellent place to have coffee or a snack. ❤️❤️❤️ The elegant atmosphere, beautiful hanging artwork, and detailed mural make for a pleasant time while enjoying coffee or tea with friends, or while working on the laptop. There is plenty of seating for customers, both inside and out. The owner is very friendly, and so are all of the staff!At the time I visited, there were three blends of coffee readily available for quick service: midnight blend, house blend, and safari sunrise. The midnight blend is a dark roast that is great if you order a drier type of wine. The house blend is a medium roast. The safari sunrise is a light blend that is good if you prefer a creamier taste to your coffee. All of these blends are the same price as house coffee.In the future, I hear these blends will be switched to various kinds of blends, and there will be coffees of the month and coffees of the day.

Nice atmosphere, located in a brand new shopping center. It’s the only locally owned coffee shop in this area. There are several Starbucks but I prefer to drink local. The owner introduced himself and was very friendly. The artwork hanging is nice. I recommend stopping by for coffee or pastries.

Lots of great coffee and tea choices! Fantastic place to have a meeting or study. There is a huge table that accommodates large parties. Very relaxing. Love the service.

Really nice coffee shop just opened here in Amberly. Great drinks and location. The owner was friendly, introduced himself, and the staff was great. Great non coffee drinks as well for those like me who arent big coffee drinkers. I highly recommend it!

Hours of operation keep shrinking. Not open until 7:00 AM now. I am sure I am only one of a few that stop in that early, but it was better than going to Starbucks. Oh well, back to Starbucks.

I’m a regular at this place! All the staff is very kind and respectful. The service was a little slow with some workers but it’s not too bad. All the food and drinks are very good and I highly recommended coming.

Need to learn how to treat their employees. Fired a kid via EMAIL for scheduling issues they agreed to when they were hired. Very unprofessional. - Yes that’s right, these young ladies don’t have time to quit because you fire them through EMAILS instead of actually speaking to them and trying to work with them as you’d agreed to. You already fired several kids since you’ve been open. So no, no one leaves. You just send out emails at 10pm the night before they are supposed to work to let them know you’re “letting them go.” Again, how professional and disrespectful.

The drinks are delicious and original! This is one of the only local coffee places (other than the mainstream chains) in the area, and the coffee is great. One of my personal favorites is the iced French Vietnamese au lait.Atmosphere is casual and modern, and is a good place to study or spend time with friends.The staff are super friendly as well!

I ordered one of their shakes, and it was incompletely blended, with big chunks of ice. The young girls who work here have trouble following directions, too. I specifically asked for no whipped cream, and they put whipped cream on. As both the product and the service stink--both of which matter a lot more than wall art--I am giving it one star.
