I bought a used Jetta recently for work and needed a mechanic to look over and fix any potential problems. I already had a quote from another mechanic saying it needs like 2 grand worth of work... I told my situation to these guys, and they did a full inspection of the car, gave me honest assessment of what actually needed to be done, and took care of the car for me.Ended up spending far far less, and gained a trustworthy mechanic and friend. These guys are great! Ask for Jommel when you guys go.

The reason I came to this location is because of Jomel. He was the service manager at The Flower Mound location and did an awesome job at balancing my vehicle like no one else could. About 3 weeks ago I went to the Flower Mound location and the service manager there was the most rude individual I have ever met and he was the one that replaced took over Jomels position, when he was transferred to the Carrollton location. And I had been going to The Flower Mound location for years. Matter of fact, my husband and I had a Mac Tools truck and sold products to them at one time but never again will I go to that store. And from what I hear the Flower Mound location are losing customers because they are looking for Jomel and moving to the Carrollton store because of the service manager, Josh at Flower Mound. And if I could get a hold of the regional manager I would tell him how sorry The Flower Mound management is now! But Ill tell you what I will drive to the ends of the Earth to go to where Jomel works. And I would never recommend anyone to The Flower Mound location ever again! Jomel is an exemplary employee and an awesome representative of Firestone! And again did an awesome job on my Kia Sportage! Thank you so much Jomel... Everything was done super fast in maybe 2 hours despite it being busy. The sales advisor added an oil change coupon and tire rotation was included in the car care package. Went in for a state inspection & asked for courtesy check & make sure all my fluids were good as I was going out of town. They finished in about 20 minutes. However, a few days later while traveling to San Antonio, my car died, resulting in a new radiator hose, alternator & battery. My car was almost empty of oil also. They evidently didnt check my car as they said they did. I wont be back. Firestone just lost a long time customer.

Went to firestone to get an inspection on my truck. The man working that night explained to me that my brakes had issues but were covered under warranty with their company. It was late and I hate to leave my truck overnight. The next morning I get a call and they said I had issues with my brakes, same as the night before, but this time was told it was not covered under warranty. Talking to two different employees they had no clear way of describing to me the issue, why they said it was under warranty when apparently it wasn’t, and then refused to let me talk to their manager. When I went in the same three people, manager included, still could not get on the same page or treat their long term customer with the type of care you’d expect at a business like that, and unfortunately after so long I’m going to have to go elsewhere. It seems to me the lack of communication between employees and their lack of communication to their superiors shows some very poor management. Especially since the manger tried to blame one fo his employees for the mistake, and never apologized for the mistake or made an effort to try fixing the issue. The β€œcovered under warranty” went to $240 brake procedure the manger said he could knock off $20 for the inconvenience, but after seeing how he mangers his store I will not be going back. That’s now way to treat customers, anywhere.

On Saturday, we were heading to a state inspection station for our 2003 Toyota Camry yearly test. (Old Reliable) Well, as luck would have it, the check engine light came on. So, we diverted our course to this Firestone location where an awesome employee checked it for us in the parking lot. It was something with our fuel line and they would need to test it. He was so friendly; I made the appointment with them at 8:00 Monday morning.Monday morning came and it was a different vibe. The employee that helped us Saturday wasnt there, but I was there 8:00 sharp and first in line. I asked how long it would take and was told hour to hour and a half. Ok, I knew it might be that long and I was debating if I should take an uber home being 18 weeks pregnant; but money is really tight right now and I also knew I was going to spend a couple hundred on the car to get it fix. I didn’t want to Uber if it was only a simple fix costing me $40. The diagnosed was going to be at least $100 and if there was a leak, the cost to repair and replace would have only added to that. Plus, we are expecting, so money is VERY tight.I asked a few more questions about the car. (What happens if the repairs can be done by the end of the day, what happens if they must keep it overnight; etc.) I do not feel safe being out during this time and expressed my concern being out while pregnant. I was trying to see if it was worth getting the uber right then or at least wait until the diagnostic.The man at the counter literally rolled his eyes at me, giving me the I don’t care glare and body language to boot, which made me more uneasy.Two other vehicles checked in after me and both went into the garage right away. Mine was still out there 15-20 minutes later. I already felt uneasy and the man at the counter did not help the situation. What’s more is my vehicle was still out there after 15 minutes while he and a mechanic were shooting the breeze in the garage. The last thing I wanted was for them to stretch the time diagnosing the car while I sat there vulnerable on top of being high risk. I am just entering my my 2nd trimester, first kid, and I’m near the high-risk age factor for woman having kids. (which is age 35)Another man came into work, so I got up and just asked to cancel. He gave me my keys and I left.I am sure there are awesome people there like the one that helped us Saturday, but I did not see it Monday. The man that gave me my keys back said, β€œI’m sorry about that” and was very polite but that is about it. I was willing to give them my business, but after the brush off, I felt uneasy at them even looking at my car.

There was I guess a manager and two other employees arguing with one of their customers because it seems they told him the wrong information and weren’t trying to do anything to help him out. As a woman, I assume that car places are probably taking advantage of me, but they did show me evidence to support their recommendations, so maybe they didnt. He also knocked $20 off the alignment, which was nice. Both counter guys were nice, polite & friendly, no customer service issues, but I do think that I was there way too long (1.5 hours) considering I was the only person in the waiting room.

DONT GO HERE!! we have been going here for 6 years, and Firestone for 20 years, but no more. The people that work here do not care anymore. We got our Civic Si front struts replaced, both were faulty parts. They replaced them, only to do a very poor job. After the repair there is really loud rattling noises in the struts. They told me it was my fault, or an acorn. My husband complained twice, and the guy told him it wasnt their fault. Very poor customer service, and shame on them for not taking responsibility for the mistake. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!!!!!

I have been taking my Business fleet and personal cars there for quite some time spending 20 + K there. Today was the last day I will walk in there. You are correct, their customer service has gone to zero the last year and a half.Today I took my wifes car in that I had the tires replaced on about a year ago there and also had road hazard. They said yeah sidewall is bad we have to replace it under road hazard. You bill is 140 bucks. I asked him what good of use is road hazard if its 80% the price of a new one. He said well since you only have 68% tire tread left we prorated it off and also we dont make that tire anymore so the new replacement costs more.Not only did they gouge me for 80% the price of a new tire for a old tire that had 68% tread left, for my troubles I also have a mismatched set now. Thanks Firestone you sure know how to take care of clients!

I wont be going back, first they canceled my credit card because it had been years since it was paid off and I havent needed to use it so I had to apply again and of course got approved but they charged me over 100 dollars for nothing. It is my HVAC system and there are so many easier ways to do it yourself but I thought they would give me some remedies and some advice. I never even got to talk to the mechanic, he didnt even bother to let me know who he was. Now Im at the Lexus dealership and I may have to sit here for another 2 to 3 hours and Ive already been here for an hour. The mechanic could have mentioned the many types of sprays you can spray in your vents to eliminate the odor. Total waste of time

I had a billing issue (over charging) back in January. Told myself I wasnt going back. My Fiat needed some repairs and again had billing issues. Spoke to corporate, voiced my aggravation. They said someone would contact me. Within a couple of hours my issues were addressed. I like this place, hate the idea that I keep having issues. Thank you for rectifying the billing issue.Three months later, here we are again.My 2012 automobile went from 39 miles per gallon to 30. It misses, sputters, and my check engine light comes on from time to time. It has NO ACCELERATION like it use to either. They completely messed up my car and Im STILL paying for the tune up and oil change. I have to wait until January (after I pay off Firestone) to take my car to the dealership to REDO and pay an additional $800+ to fix what Firestone messed up.Thanks for my overall $1,700 bill. My husband took his car there to get inspected for state inspection. It was near his work and he had extra time so he stopped in and from the very beginning it was a disaster. First they tried to charge him $80 for a state inspection. When he questions it they say oh its state fees. Never in my life have I paid more than about $25 for a state inspection. Then they realized that they had mixed up and had him almost pay someone elses bill...how does that even happen? Later he finds out he failed the inspection and needs new tires which we expected. But then he finds out he needs a new third light brake. And since we hadnt paid a lot of attention to it we thought ok but we arent going to pay $65 for something that costs about $12 for parts and takes us 5 minutes to do. So we get the parts and go to check it and it isnt even out. We checked ALL his lights and none were out so now we are confused and honestly quite mad. He plans to take it back only because he doesnt want to pay the $25 again somewhere else. But definitely wouldnt return otherwise...trying to scam people and make money when nothing even needs to be fixed.

Firestone, found a problem that I couldnt find. I thought my motor was ruined. They found a radiator leak, did some kind of test for a cracked head gasket. $800 later my truck was fixed, on a Sunday. I was looking at 10,000 for a new motor or 20,000 for a little bit newer truck. I highly recommend these folks

Just like all Firestone locations, this auto repair chain will overcharge you on everything and recommend non-essential repairs on your estimate that are ridiculously overpriced. Got a tire replacement here. First, after picking up the vehicle, I noticed that the dash electronics and blinker were not working. I had to bring it back and ultimatley they did fix that issue that they caused. Then, after 1 week, the tire was near flat. I added air and returned to get the tire checked a week later. By that time the tire was near flat again. They looked at the tire, said they saw no issue and sent me on my way. After another week here we are, flat tire again. I called and said they would be replacing the tire and not putting the same tire back on my vehicle. I talked with the store manager, Jeremy Kaplan, who said that would be alright because I had paid for the insurance on the tire. I get to the store and now he says, Well sir, we cant just replace the tire unless we have a reason. Therefore, not only have they done a very substandard job, they have also lied. Do not bring your vehicle hear. Poorly managed, long wait time, and horribly customer service.

Got there to get my Passenger Tire Patched from a Screw. Once I got to the desk I told him my problem and he said it would take a couple of HOURS until we get it completed. There are 2-3 techs in the garage just sitting/standing at their counter in the garage. It takes 20 minutes or less to do a patch job. I only have one vehicle and he said You better have someone pick you up. So I had to walk home and then walk back when my car is ready. Lazy and incompetent people there. Since they are busy on sundays they need to have more staff to compensate the hectic day they have instead of running the shop on a skeleton crew. Cant stand the service every time I go. Plus I keep offering me services I DONT NEED.

I brought my Audi so they can check one of the tires since it has a nail on it, so I decided to drop it off. My husband talked to Richard over the phone and told him we wanted to get 2 tires instead of 1 since it was advised the tire with the nail Is not repairable. My husband was clear and said he wanted the same brand we had which is ToYo. Richard advised they were discontinued but could find 2 of those at another location. Later yesterday we came to pick up the car and spoke to Jeremy Kaplan the store manager and ask him if we could get the good old tire, but he went to look and said they picked them up. After we paid, we went to look at the car tires and we noticed they have put the wrong set of tires firestone brand that we were clear we did not want. We went back inside and let Jeremy know and he was very rude, said that Richard was not here to validate the what we were saying, making us feel as lyers and said he went to the emergency room. We understand and sympathize to the fact he he was not feeling good, but that’s why we were trying to ask him the manager to help us instead of giving us an attitude.He finally said he will see what he can do for us and got the tires we wanted as we have requested since the beginning. He then try to make a smart comment making us feel even worst to not to put 240,000 miles, to which I said we live in this area and we would not drive much.We did not appreciate the way he was talking to us and making us feel as lyers. We also did not appreciated you keeping the other good tire. Not a good friend of the community. I went in with a desperate situation where I was already on 1 spare and completely flat on the other. Mind you I have back problems and was wearing a brace. In obvious severe pain and agony. I was literally lying on the ground in their lot. Their own customers were trying to help me. I had little cash on hand and no cards and a dead cell phone. I had a tire and only needed it put on the rim. Not only did they say no but he left me lying on the concrete in the heat for the answer. After laying there 10 minutes I went inside to check. If its against so called policy not to use anyones elses tires that if its bad their liable, how simple is it to have a waiver and keep the business and have a good word of mouth customer. I didnt make it to another tire shop and only got a mile away before the tire begin to come off the rim . I wound up walking 40 minutes home which is only 1 mile away but with back problems this 10-15 walk took 40. For the first time ever when having to vomit from pain when it reaches high levels it had blood in it. They will never get my business or a nice word. Upset I cant sue or something. I am very disappointed, am from out of state and went there for an oil change and wanted them to check a noise that had just started as I was driving here. I called 2hrs later to ensure the car was being checked. At this time they notified me that the oil was getting done and they had no idea that they need it to check for the noise. They will treat you like an idiot when they are the actual idiots. Theyre so idiotic they screwed up a simple oil change. I took the car back to them in the ensuing couple of months not once, but TWICE, complaining about how there was something leaking underneath my car, and both times they dismissed it. Then I was in San Antonio when I noticed the leaking had stopped and had a bad feeling and sure enough I broke down on the side of the freeway and had to get towed to a Firestone there, where they put some oil in it and immediately diagnosed it as an oil leak and fixed it for free when I told them what had happened in the Carrollton shop. Now I dont know why I went back to the Carrollton shop when my check engine light came on but they told me what it was and that it would cost nearly two thousand dollars and gave me zero options. I immediately researched it and found a part for more than a thousand dollars less and when I informed them of this they told me well your check engine light will just come back on. Wrong -- I then called the dealership that gave them the quote and they explained to me the dramatic difference in the cost of the parts (the expensive one was plug-and-play or snap-in, and the other one required welding) so now I know more about this particular type of part than these morons do. And they charged me $100 for this service -- the last $100 dollars I will ever spend at any Firestone, when Ive found another car service place that will check your engine light for free.

Went for State Inspection and they tried to make me spend money for unnecessary things for my car whereas my car was in good condition. When I refused, they agreed to do the state inspection and my car passed the inspection. Trying to cheat!
