The customer service here is phenomenal! I have always had the best experience from the moment I walk through the door until I walk out the door with whatever it was I went in to get. The salesmen immediately welcome you and ask if you need help finding anything. They listen and answer your questions, then give advice on how to solve your problem or advise you what options you have. They go beyond helping you with whatever you need. They will even look for the best deals for you. I have bought all of my appliances from them over the years and have never been disappointed. It’s hard to find customer service like this anymore, but I guess that’s why it’s name Sears Hometown store. They really make you feel at home.

I purchased a refrigerator from this location. Paid for delivery, install and haul away. 5 days later my refrigerator is still sitting in my driveway. Store team, and delivery team dont seem to communicate with each other. The store team member knows of my issues and hasnt helped!

I called my Carrollton, GA Hometown Sears store because I was having trouble with the toll-free Sears Customer Service Department regarding cancellation of an online order. I spoke to Jacob Hollis, a very courteous and knowledgeable young man, and he resolved my problem in under one minute! Additionally, my husband stopped by the store recently to purchase a water filter for our Kenmore refrigerator, and he was totally impressed by the store and the great service. We are so happy to have this store in our hometown, and will certainly be shopping there in the future!!

Came in a few weeks ago looking for a washer and dryer. Was greeted by a salesman and was shown around and told about the sales and options such as the Sears Card and the rent to own program. After being told that, the salesman let me shop around on my own and told me to let him know if I had any questions. He was extremely helpful.However, in the middle of talking with him, I’m assuming it was the manager that walked up and interrupted the salesman in the middle of us talking. He broke in between us and tried to take over the conversation. The salesman was very helpful, but the manager put a bad taste in my mouth and I witnessed him do it to another salesperson that day as well. It’s very unprofessional. I’ll continue to shop at sears, but now I know who not to deal with when I go in. I’ve been using sears for years and they are a great local store and I appreciate them greatly, but that manager seems unprofessional to me.

My girlfriend and I visited The Sears Hometown Store in Carrollton, GA , from Jonesboro, GA recently to pickup a Craftsman Weedwacker. To our delight, the commute was an absolutely wonderful experience. Not sure why we were so surprised at the welcoming , knowledgeable, and courteous customer care we received because over the years, it was this consistency and outstanding care weve come to expect and enjoy from Sears. The warmth and attentive ness was also given and displayed to other customers whom were inside the store and shopping. We placed our order via Sears.com and moments after receiving our confirmation, we received a call from Associate Brian whom followed up to acknowledge that our order had been received and Ready for Pickup. Upon arrival, Johnny was the Associate whom attended to us and provided professional care with an informative and educational tutorial. Needless to say, our drive to The Sears Hometown Store in Carrollton, GA was both rewarding and refreshing. A service experience that stands, alone. We just wanted to once again send a special thanks to EVERYONE at the store! See Yall, Soon....

They had, in stock the attachment I needed for my shop vac. This particular type of attachment is getting difficult to replace & was delighted they had one. Very friendly staff & will shop here again.

Probably my best Sears experience. Drove an hour and a half to pick up a discontinued toolbox I needed to replace. All 3 workers I spoke with were polite, professional and respectful yet friendly.

Johnny was a great salesman..we needed a new washer and I was looking for a Kenmore...but he imformed me that they were made by Whirlpool back in the day when ours was built and so was Maytag...and he had a Maytag on closeout cheaper than the new Kenmore..and Maytag is still built by Whirlpool ... so I saved money...great guy and honest...I guess they dont work on commission...or if he does..he is more concerned about his customers than his own paycheck...way to go Johnny !!!

Called this location to check an items availability, man who answered the phone was rude and dismissive, referenced several times he was helping several other customers so I asked if I could leave a call back number, he then tells me they have the item in stock, Sears was having a sale on the item so I asked about its price and he laughs and says he cant match that price and hung up. Dont know if it this is regular treatment or how they do business, but I wont spend any money at this location, bad customer service and poor treatment. Buyer beware.Edit: 7/4/18 After leaving my previous review I was contacted by the store manager, Vickie, she apologized for what transpired and seemed genuinely nice. It seems this may have been a singular incident.

I called yesterday Terrell told me the price of 2 dryers. I decided to get the one for $399. I called again today to let them know which model I had chosen again the price was $399. I drove the Carrollton, let them know I had spoken to Terrell. They pointed him out he entered the dryer model number and the price came up $415 plus tax. He acted as if that was their price. I showed him it was also $399 online then he changed the price. I wanted the lease payment. I gave them my info they said I was approved for $15 less than the price and asked if I could pay that along with the first payment today, I said yes. He had to restart the process. After putting the same info in again, they said now I was approved for $34 less and could I pay that today (02/09/2019). I said no. Too many price changes my sign to walk away. I would rather pay more at a location I can trust.

The gentleman I talked to at the Carrollton location did not apparently know what he was talking about kept changing stories said it was free delivery online then he tells me its $81 to deliver from online and $45 to hook up $25 to dispose I told him twice I didnt need anything disposed he told me he would charged me $115 for delivery when I told him I did not want to be charged that I went online and it said free delivery he will not honor it I was looking at another refrigerator it was a Samsung and he treated me like I didnt know how to read what model was and walked up to me and said well thats Samsung when I was looking around for Kenmore I was actually looking at different refrigerators but I was looking particularly at a Kenmore range and a Kenmore refrigerator that was advertised as clearance I just didnt like his attitude I had to ask him to give me some details if I purchase something and hes like well I dont know what you want just bet experience
