Excellent shopping experience. I ordered and paid online. I came into the store and picked up a few more items. The clerk carried the desk to my car for me. I cant say enough good things about this entire experience. A perfect mix of online and in store shopping. Lots of sale items, and they have a wonderful selection of next years calendars and planners already. The staff were fantastic.

I have been going been going to this Office Depot for a few years now to print documents. However I know they recently changed there policy where you have to do self print out. Which I have been recently been walked through every time I go with an employee help. This morning I asked RAY the employee that was working their at the time to please help me. Since I didn’t have a credit card with me to use the machine. And he answered rudely right away to go to the cashier and buy a gift card. So I asked him if he can help me with the machine and then I could pay at the cashier like I always do. And his answer was “NO! This is the new policy”. So I told him thank I will take my business somewhere else and he said “OK FINE!”. This is my first time every writing a review about someone however I think this man should have management talk to him because this is not the way you should talk to costumers. If anybody needs to contact me please do so, because this kind of attitude shouldn’t be tolerated!!!

I just had the Cape Coral/Pine Island Road store sale me back my old empty Toner cartridges that I turned in over a year ago. Literally in the same boxes I turned in over a year ago, cat hair and all (didnt know that was in there when i turned them in). No apology, no nothing! I will never be back there again and would advise everybody to check your purchases before leaving the store.

Wow shocking experience! This “manager” should be fired immediately. I’ve never experienced such a thing.I called 20 min before close and he tells me the print machines shut off at exactly 6 pm.He asks me how many prints I have to make and sounded very rude from the start. I arrived to I tried to print he first tells me to select a certain tray then kept lying saying maybe it’s the machine bc it won’t work after 6.Well it absolutely did work and he lied twice to make things a hassle for me. When I asked for his name he would not give it. Corporate should investigate this manager, I’ve never experienced such terrible service. He is completely out of line. The people next to me were also frustrated by his behavior/ treatment as well.

Wow, I must say Daniel from the Print Service Department was an incredible help for me today. He was more than willing to help me with what I needed to even doing it for me. Thank you for all your help, and know it was much appreciated!

I came into the store to purchase an external hard drive, batteries, and back-pack. A backpack that I had previously seen on Amazon was physically in the store. I asked one of the reps if they offered a price match. Her response was: Yes. At the time of checkout, a different rep said that they did not offer a price match for Amazon. As a result, I left the store without buying anything and gave my business to Amazon Instead.

Some of the Employees here are rude and not very helpful. I highly recommend going to Staples instead.

Usually a great store which is why they receive three stars! After spending several minutes in the store with employees walking past me, I approached a young man today, who was chomping on almonds as he was taking to the cashier. When the cashier advised I was standing there, he turned around and simply said What are you looking for?, with his mouth still full. There was no greeting, how may I help you, or any type of professionalism. As he continued to eat his almonds, he did take me directly to what I needed. The gentleman at the register was much more professional and I appreciated the interaction.

Manager refused to help, bad customer service, USB never worked on Printer Machines.

They are taking all precautions necessary to keep their staff and guests safe during “CovidTimes”. Staff is helpful and friendly and turn around time for printing is quick! We are very happy with their service!

Terrible customer service skills for the gentleman working the register I went to. As I walk up I offer a quick How you doin? to which he doesnt respond, offer a smile or even make eye contact. He doesnt say a single word to me aside from asking if I have a rewards account with their store. As he hands me the receipt and quickly slides my bag over to me, still no eye contact or any kind of goodbye, or thanks for shopping here or anything of the sort.

I now understand why people do everything online these days. After waiting for 20 minutes in the PRINT/COPY line of the store to make a few more invitations, I was told it would be $20+ to make seven 3x5 copies of my invitation. Also, my son needed to print his script for the school play and when trying to send via email to the store over their WiFi, it took forever because their WiFi was so slow.

This has to be the worst Office Max at least in Florida!! I dropped off contracts 3 weeks ago to be edited and made into 3 part carbon copies. This wasnt a hard project, all I needed was 1 sentence added to a paragraph. I had to call at least 5 times over the 3 week duration to get someone to physically go look and see if they were finished. Finally 4 days ago I called again and this time I was told that the editing was done, they just needed to get the carbon copies glued, and that would be done by the following day. I gave them an extra 4 days since they seem to be running on a different time zone than the rest of us. I just went there to pick them up and i was told they were done and have been done. She opened the box and the editing seemed to be finished, however when i went to pick them up to look further, they all fell apart which meant that they were not glued and never touched from 4 days ago when i checked on them. I called an actual printing company that does this same process and they told me that that process would take 2 days at the most and i found out that its way cheaper through a printing company. The moral of this story is do NOT use this store for editing. I promise you they will mess it up. I got my refund and ran out of there as quick as possible never to return. I wont even go there for a paper clip now!! I usually dont write bad reviews for companies, I like to write good reviews and the bad ones I give the business another chance and they make it right the second time around. This company had 5, 6, 7 times to correct the mistake because I kept calling and making someone physically check on my order. This tells me that ever time I called them, when they hung up the phone with me, they would take my order and toss it back under the service desk for someone else to deal with. This place is the worst!!! THE WORST!!! 😠😠

Really nice store an thats just about where the good experience ends, came in for an item that they had 3 in stock. They checked inventory an the scanner showed the same so they tried telling me that they just sold 2 of them today an the 3rd one is missing. Ended up leaving with another similar item up just not happy with there level of service.

Very sad. Great manager stuck with only one reliable employee. Others seem to be there merely to put in their time. Coming up on a year ago I worked with the one employee who knew anything about the operational aspects of the Office Depot graphics area. She was attentive, brilliant, multi tankers who managed to maintain a sense of humor, along with her wits, as those around her only compounded her job. After six more attempts over the past six months I was confronted with inoperable machines, staff that had not a clue what to do about the machines, nor the ability to even operate the more detail oriented copy equipment behind the desk. Lines formed as operational chaos eroded any sense of communication skills let alone technical ability. Hours spent on a five minute job. One would have thought that after six months the system might have been learned. Or, the ousting of staff who did not contribute, but there we have it. My sympathy goes out to Office Depot - if they can’t manage a simple front end store why would anyone risk dealing with them online. There brand in my mind is ruined and I now attach the brand to incompetence and mediocrity. There will be an accounting when the twenty twenty recession hits. They will have wished they had educated and curated their staff to survive the down turn. I fear this store, that sits on property deserted in the 2008 debacle, will be shuttered in 2020. I wanted to exchange something & when I asked the young lady where I would find what I wanted she sent me to the back left of the store looking for a name brand. Not offering to get a sales associate from the floor to help.After a good 20 minutes of looking, I finally found a sales associate & he brought me to where I needed to be, which was no where near the back of the store.They all need to learn, our time is just as valuable as theirs.

This store has given me one of the greatest customer service experiences ever. Andrew the manager is awesome as is every other employee. They are all very helpful!

The copy center is always professional and handles jobs in a timely manner. They strive to ensure print jobs meet my needs.

Went to use my $18.77 reward that expires today, 12/31/18. It would not come up when $100+ merchandise was purchased. Cashier asked her supervisor who asked the store manager. The message from the manager was that the rewards expired at 11:59 yesterday, 12/30/18 even though I had an email that proved it. The credit eventually went through without any assistance from the management. Where do you get these incompetent employees? I felt bad for the cashier who was helpful

My visit today was very pleasent. I asked to have over 70 copies made for me as I was not familiar about how to make self service copies. Customer service representive had them done in no time for me. He also advised me about their technical services department when I asked about getting help with some other devices needing servicing. This is the Office Depot on North West Pine Island Rd. In Cape Coral, Fl.

I have called several times to get information and no one ever answers.

The worst ever...before the merge all was fine but now every shopping experience has been a horror. From the web site to the store...I will never do business again with office depot or office max.Try and submit a rebate and the website does not work finally get thru on the phone and offer expired and they will not honor rebate even tho website was not functioning!

Just had to fax, and it has simple step by step directions so I was actually able to do it myself. The guy at the checkout check to see if I had rewards and so he used that for me and it cost a little bit less

4 stars for effort. Need some training on the print area, the head person is great but if ur going to get some help that need to bbn know whats going on or the whole system crashes as the senior person is pulled off every job to assist.

There was only one employee working the cash registers and other front section of the store. He was also the one person locating products. Poor guy!

I waited in line unnoticed by the cashier for close to 10 minutes while she did stuff behind the counter. The printer that I bought was in a stack of similar printers advertised for half the price. My mistake. I returned to the store to exchange the printer and get a refund. The new printer was 59.99 as advertised I was charged 69.99. So I had to return to the store for a 2nd time. My problem with this store is that I was never given an apology for their mistakes. Even when I apologized for all the extra work they had to do it didnt trigger them to apologize in return. I was treated as if it was all my fault. Not even the manager apologized. I give them 2 stars only because they didnt argue with me about the return the 2nd time. Although ultimately it was their mistake.

I went to Office Depot yesterday because my phone wouldn’t charge and I asked the guy up front if maybe it was my charger and if we could try a new one. He was soooo nice he opened up a charger for me and let me try it out and when It didn’t work he said “I think you might need a new battery take it to our tech center in the back”So I’m looking for the tech center, walk right passed and asked an older guy if he could show me where it was. He pointed behind me like I’m stupid and I say thanks. Walk over and stand there for 5 minutes before the same guy walks over and asks how he can help. First of all he saw me standing there the whole time looking lost because no one was acknowledging me he could have said “the tech center is right behind you I’m in the middle of something but I’ll be right with you I work the tech center” it’s all good though!So he walks over to me and asks what I need. I told him a need a price on a repair. He interrupted me and said $169. I said wait you don’t even know What I need. “Your screen right”. Actually no, a battery. He pulls out he battery but says “we have the battery, I can’t sell it to you, I have to install it, looks around on his computer for 15 min and says “I don’t THINK we can do it” him saying I don’t THINK we can do it and still looking at his computer tells me he’s still looking and but he doesn’t THINK so right. So without saying another word, after 5 more minutes of looking at his screen without looking at me still standing there he grabs the battery, puts it away and starts talking to the lady behind me. Lol. I thought he was still doing research on the battery turns out he was just done talking to me. So without saying anything I just walk away. Anthony at Office Depot, you work at a very over priced store the least you could do is treat your customers who go in there to spend more money then they would at Walmart, nicely.

As many people are posting awful and untrue things about this business. They always honor my coupons, and always price match from a true and correct source. I dont like doing my office supply shopping anywhere else, and this place beats Staples by a long shot.

Terrible place. They DONT know what they doing. 4 people in line in front me. And all that custumers came outunhappy, tired, and angry. How they work there. Oh my God. After 1 hours 10mins. I have my car insurance print for just $38 ctvs. But a big size ( letter ) each Insurance card print. Ready to fold 4 times for keep on the glove compartment. Applauds. Good luck there readers. Incredibly poor customer service. Bought a defective ink cartridge& they refused an exchange because I returned 17 days instead of 14. I travel back & forth to Chicago. It was clearly defective and it cost me time & money. Unbelievable, stick to Amazon, no wonder box retailers are going bankrupt.

I ordered ink just so I could get the $15 turkey coupon. They will not ship ink by mail. But they mail the coupon. I had to list my home address to complete the order since they would not accept my PO Box since they were shipping UPS, There is no mail delivery where I live - only to our PO Boxes. So I called customer service and they said they fixed it and I would get the coupon in the mail by 11-14-2014 but I did not. I called and got the run a round till they finally said they are out of stock of the coupon. Then I was told I would get a credit on my credit card but that was a lie also.

Worst customer service ever! Store is severely understaffed and employees are rude. Manager Nick Cyr had absolutely no concern that I waited half an hour for service to pick up a computer I ordered online and told me I was wait another 3 days before he can find the computer and get it for pickup.

They had a large selection of three trying binders. My son was able to find one that was easy to open.

Their copy services are always quick and super convenient

Probably one of the worst experiences Ive had at a store. I brought in mini books to bind and they screwed it up. They ruined my curriculum bought books. Luckily they offered to replace. However I went back and forth to the store 4x and that kept saying they were not ready. How do you take care of a screw up by screwing up more ? Literally nothing could be done. What a mess of a store. I would not shop here and I wont be shopping here again.

It took a very long time to send my faxes and then I was charged $40 to send them only 15 pages. And then my lawyer never received them.
