First time here and I was so impressed! Great layout and tremendous selection of anything & everything you could possibly need or want. Compared to the Giant Eagles of Cleveland its far superior.

My go to grocery store, as its very close to work and I can usually find what I need stocked. Staff is always friendly. They also have a cool selection of retro candy. Bakery cakes Ive ordered have also been good, although options seem limited from their ordering materials. Nice area. Feel safe. Clean inside and well organized. Deli has a wide selection of meats and cheeses. Wine selection is also great. Ive done online pickup many times. The personal shoppers usually do well. Ive had substitutions they selected that were really off base though, do you may want to watch that (I ordered hot dog buns in a certain brand and instead of just giving me another brand, I received footlong hot dog buns.....I didnt have any footlong hot dogs haha). Only two negatives I would put out there. Their online app is not very user friendly. Its newer and I hope they advance it as popularity grows. The other negative I would say is, that they do not have someone helping bag groceries for the clerks/cashiers. Often other employees are standing in earshot at the checkout stations chatting, as your groceries pile up on the conveyor and they expect your cashier to bag as well, which slows the process and creates longer lines. This has been going on well before COVID, so I cant believe its related to staff shortages. Occasionally I will see someone hop over and assist, but it is a rarity. I usually bag my own while here to help out, but I hope ACME works on this process. I could be saving some money by going to a discount grocery store where I would be required to actually bag my own. When we pay a little extra at stores like this, we expect a certain level of service in return. Slippery slope ACME.

I can generally find what I need at Acme. Lots to choose from in the bakery! Nice clean store in a convenient location. Easy to drive in and out. Like most others though, you end up using the self checkout bc there isnt enough lanes open.

Its a pretty good grocery store and they have a Humongous wine selection. Look for the yellow Managers special tag on bread or meat for deals. Produce area is good and clean, things are fresh. Thats all I can think of, Good luck

This is a great grocery store. Almost always have everything I need and awesome deals. Great variety in craft beers, seltzers, and other spirits. My only knock on them is the way the associates in the deli apply the labels to the meats and cheeses they preslice. They place them in a way that almost always causes the bag to rip when opening. Other than that great grocery store.

I am a long time customer, I always find good bargains. Cashiers are not always the friendliest just depends on the day I guess.

Good shopping experience over priced but it is what it is. Best fresh cut meat around though so if firing up the grill I would suggest meat from here!

A great place to shop for groceries and baked goods. The crescent doughnuts are excellent and they have a great selection of other goods to choose from.

Acme is a very friendly and clean place to shop. Employees have always been polite.

Being that I am from out of state, their wine section was unbelievable!

I dont shop at stores that pay there employees a none competitive wage. A cashier should not make only $9.50 an hour after a raise look at every company in the area they pay $12 to $15 for less work. It is ridiculous that they get away with this especially since they are in a union. I will never shop here.

I like to pick up premade meals and keep them around for convenience for days I cannot be home to cook.

Went in for sale items. Seemed that there wasnt enough cashiers. But having worked in this line of business for fifteen years I understand what one or two people calling off can cause problems. They called others off the floor to help. Only thing that as a senior makes me wonder is that the carts cleaned? No one was outside wiping them down and the station was empty when I went in. This is glove season.

Great place to shop. Lots of variety, and friendly staff. Mite pay a little more but always for a quality product and not the cheap off brand stuff at local competitors market. I would choose Acme over the off brand store any day of the weak. Restrooms available to shoppers, and also a clean new environment with updated self check out systems. A+

Visited on 1/1/2021 after noon. There were three registers open, self checkouts were closed (they just started opening them as we were walking out). The lines at the registers that were open were at least 4 or 5 deep at each one.

Imma giving this place 4 stars. A landmark basically here in the Hills and Dales area, but they revamped, upgraded, an well they lost that family feel they once had. I get it things gotta change, I have shopped here for over 25yrs, and I needed a map to navigate the new store. I have also that before you could find deals here but its got quite expensive, breaks my heart. One thing though remains the same IF YOU BUY MEAT HERE MAKE SURE YOU FREEZE WITHIN 24HRS!!!! Especially hamburger, never have I had hamburger go bad so fast. I ly shop here when I cannot find it anywhere else or have some money to burn for specialty items.

I have been shopping the with Acme brand for about 10 years.This location was probably one of the nicest grocery stores I have ever been inside.

I like the sales so much I joined the club card membership. Vegan and gluten foods sections was a pleasant surprise. Fresh Seafood and Produce. I loaded up on their specialty spices and seasonings.

Staff is consistently awesome. The cashiers and baggers go out of their way to be friendly. If you’re looking for variety, though, keep looking.

This is Holly Russo. I visited this store on Thursday to shop for my elderly stepmom. When checking out there were several registers open which is good but out of the 6 or 7 cashiers only 2 were wearing their mask properly. The rest had noses sticking out or on their neck. This should be unacceptable!

Very nice and clean store. some employees very helpful and one seemed like she really didnt like being there.Prices fair but signage / advertising a little misleading or difficult to understand.I liked the store and will go back.The girl at the Deli actually appeared to enjoy what she was doing and made my visit to that part of the store better than the rest. She actually made me feel good about my buying experience.

I shop at acme 3-4 times a week and cannot wear a mask, these people allow me to shop in peace! Awesome customer service! I switched from wall mart!

I am a single parent on a tight budget. My food dollars don’t stretch very far if I buy my entire grocery list at Acme. So I usually shop their specials. The quality of their meat department is better than most of the local grocery stores in Canton area. Their bakery is not good. The items are not even close to scratch baking. Every “baked good” item is either made from mixes, prepared products or frozen products. I used to be a wholesale food sales representative so know the good from the mediocre. The produce department is average, I have seen better. The wine and alcohol section is one of the best in Canton. Too bad it isn’t in this single Dad’s budget.My conclusions:1. Shop savvy. Check the specials.2. If you want good baked goods in Canton, go to Johnnie’s Bakery in Wertz Ave.3. The meat department is good, just watch your prices.4. The wine, beer and alcohol department is worth shopping.

I was recommended this store to buy craft beers. As soon as I enter the staff working there are very nice. As I make my way through the back section. I pass through a candy isle that has all types of candies from the 90s. I stopped there to buy some candy I havent seen for a very long time. Then when I got my self to the beer isle. I was blown away on how huge is the beer selections and nicely organized. Mike that works there help me find very good local craft IPA beer. Definitely this is a place to stop by if you are looking for good craft beer or maybe something different. Definitely a really good place for the beer advocate.

Ok, they have a great selection, but the layout of the store is bizarre. They enlarged it only to maintain enormous wooden bargain bins scattered throughout the entrance, like they just ran out of room on the shelves and dropped a pile of 800 boxes of cake mix in a random spot and called itdisplay. And I can never find what I want... This is a store that doesnt think like I think, so Ive never once successfully purchased milk. Because, well, its hidden way off in the corner, and by the time I remember I didnt get it, Im absolutely not gonna follow the breadcrumb trail back to it. Its time consuming to shop here, based solely on the sprawling layout. So if you have the time, enjoy the browse. Pick up some nice scotch.

Very large store, clean. Fresh fruits and veggies. Well stocked shelves. Lots of home products other than food. Huge beverage and wine section. Thry always have great sale items. Friendly workers especially at the check out counters. I frequent this store multiple times per week as I always buy fresh items. A must visit, will become your go to store.

A very nice place to grocery shop. This is not my typical place to shop for groceries but I stopped in to grab something quick. I was really surprised how big and how nice this grocery store was. The prices were very compatible to another big local chain grocery store. I would consider going back when in the area.

Acme is one of the best places to get any shopping done in canton/plain township. They typically have the best deals and sales around. Clean store, easy to navigate and the best doughnuts too. Nothing bad can be said about the place. Staff are always nice, the place is great.

Every time Ive been in the store in the last couple months, the entire place smells of rotten fish. Its got something to do with their seafood counter in the back, Im sure. I think it started around when theyd finished their remodel. I was just in there two days ago, and its still the same. I had to grab what I needed and get out of there as fast as possible. I was hoping theyd have addressed the issue by now, but apparently not. It means Im going to have to continue shopping at their competitors, which is a real shame. I hope they do something about this. I want to be able to shop there again.
