We have been using Discount tire for over 20 yrs. Over time I’ve been less and less impressedMy son needed tires and went to Firestone because if he needs service back home they have one on baseI was very impressed taking his car there for him (long story) service and price were great!!Today we realized we needed new tires and I tried to call discount and never got an answer plus they didn’t have an appointment onlineI called Firestone and Jason was VERY helpful and nice on the phone and offered some discounts I didn’t know aboutBrad the manager was who we dealt with dropping off and picking up our car again SO NICE helpful and even funnyI believe we have a superior tire for about the same price and we could get an oil change as well!I will be back!I know years ago they had a bad rep but they have overcome!(And they offer fair financing should it be needed)

My 2007 Saturn Vue with 202,000 miles on her needed a wheel alignment.Firestone is the only place that I trust to do the work my car needs. I dont worry about any shady up sales into services I dont need or want.Good dependable service by local technicians backed by a national organization thats going to be here tomorrow and the day after!

The men whom I encountered here were consummate gentleman across the board. They were extremely respectful. They fixed my vehicle with a great attitude. They found the cause of a slow leaking tire and only charged $20 for the repair. They gave me a coupon for my oil change. They finished far more quickly than they estimated they would initially.

Super quick, super nice and the best service ever will definitely return for future repairs.

Best alignment shop in town. The techs here know their way around nice wheels and appreciate aesthetics. They also know their way around cars. I am my own mechanic and VERY picky about any work someone else does, and Id actually trust my car to these guys. The managers are great too. All helped me beyond required last year when my car broke down during their test drive due to my own fault, and had me back up and running in no time.

I cant stress enough how excellent the customer service is here at this location. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The manager is always able to work something out to help out his customers. Hes got me out of plenty of binds before, and I will always go back to this location because I know they will take care of me.

They were able to fix my tire and put it back on the car within the day. I was very pleased since another facility couldny do it for 3 days. Polite staff and clean facility!

My experience was good, but my daughter and I went together. My oil change was first. Than my daughters, the oil cap was left off. By the time she ran errands and than home, oil was everywhere😑 My daughter took pictures, she had to clean out puddles of oil underneath the hood. It was dripping on the ground, the car was a cream color, ran down the front of the car. The cap was underneath the hood, between the windshield and beginning when you lift the hood. She had to add more oil! My daughter said, she would never go there again, it was a mess! Just make sure your oil cap is on before you leave!

Everyone I have dealt with here has been respectful and knowledgeable. This is the only place I will take my car now!

Came in distraught because I thought the worst about my brakes. After Larry took a look, they were able to help me out... on a Sunday... with only two people on staff... at a fair price! I downloaded the app and they are now my go-to as long as stay in the area!

Worst and slow oil change service in the history. I got here around 11am on Saturday without appointment. I told them to get an oil change, air pressure and windshield washer fluid. They already had other vehicles and appointments, but he said it takes about half an hour. I said I will go outside and please call me back when its done. 1hour...2hours..3hours later, they never call me back, so I was wondering to call them when its done. I went back to Firestone and check them up. They dont even have my car to fix up, so I tried to cancel an oil change because it took so long...I stand at front desk more than 10 minutes seems guy were busy at the computer in the repair shop, but he just gestured me to wait and didnt come to me at all. After that, the guy brought over my car to fix up, so I additionaly waste my time about 30 more minutes. Totally, I stayed here 3hours 30minutes. Waste my money and times. I would like to give you less then 20 dollars but $49 Wow..... Are you guys serious? is it worth to pay? Who does want to get an oil change if it takes so long forever? Do I have to wait so long for free oil change?

Stopped in this morning for a tire issue, losing air. Jason brought me into garage to show me 2 different pieces of mental in tire. He asked how old my tires were, as they didnt look too old, maybe they are still under warranty. Jason was kind enough to lower car so I could get paperwork from glovebox. Purchased tires 15 months ago, we also looked that miles werent over the 60,000. Another worker helped me interpret coverage warranty! Talk about customer service! They werent trying to sell me new tires, they were being helpful, honest and transparent!I will be back for sure! As a woman, they made me feel extremely comfortable by explaining current situation and next steps. Good service but idk if I will return.. its very expensive and they honored a weekend coupon for 2 tires for me but I was quoted for a set of 2 and a set of 4 with the weekend coupon... They would only honor the coupon for the set of 2 and when I decided I wanted to go with the 4 they would honor the same price?? Weird and confusing to me!?

Had a trivial issue with a tire valve stem cap today. I was afraid to solve it on my own because I had broke a metal/metal issue in the past.Scheduled an appointment, everything was on time and was solved quickly. I was not charged and in the business world today that blew my mind.Kudos to this business doing a courtesy fix for a stranger.

Firestone Complete Auto Care came through in a pinch for my sister and I today. They had fast and friendly customer service and were a bunch of really nice guys. They put a tire on the rim that we brought in and we were out of there in no time. I will definitely be stopping back in if I have tire troubles in the area.

I am retracting my earlier review. I had been coming to Firestone exclusively for a few years until recently. I brought my car in for inspection and after a two-day wait I was provided a long list of necessary and non negotiable repairs that totaled $4,800. It was obvious that I was not going to spend that amount on a 12 year old car.I asked them if it could be pared down, but they only budged to a $3,000 total. Which again, was too high.I ended up looking at dealerships to replace my car based on the advice that my car was not worth the cost of repairs. My car, up to this point had been incredibly reliable and we had just paid it off, so it was a disappointment to hear that news about our family vehicle.I was ready to sign on for a 15k debt when I decided to take my car to a different auto repair place to get a second opinion...and within 4 hours of dropping my car off was provided a quote of $1,800. The list of repairs were in line with what Firestone suggested, but without $3,000 worth of extra unnecessary work.I was saddened to learn that Firestone was adding these extra services unnecessarily as it made me wonder about how much they have been over charging me these past few years. They dont act like they need my business and so they wont have it.Needless to say I will not be going back to Firestone for ANY service whatsoever.

I brought my vehicle in for a flat tire and the staff let me know they were booked for the day but would try to determine if it could be patched or replaced then call me. Received a call back a few hours later confirming what needed to be done and an estimated window of when it would be completed. Overall great communication and friendly service, I would recommend!

They fixed my truck quickly, were very reasonably priced, and had a nice staff. Im so happy with this place and will be back.

Discovered this shop as they are one of TireRack.coms recommended installers. Not only did they receive and install my wheel/tire set the moment it arrived, since then (pre-Covid and beyond), they have been nothing but helpful in handling my vehicles issue(s) and honest when discussing what actually needed doing, not just what would line their pockets. Add the fact that they know what theyre doing, have reasonable prices and can get you in same-day when needed, and, well, you cannot ask for more.

Took my car in for an oil change had a 2pm appointment and was told would only be about an hr. After 1.5hrs I called only to find out it wouldn’t be done until 5. An oil change is an oil change and so it’s simple work and nothing to talk about but very Unpleased by their time estimate as for if I knew it would have taken 3hrs I would have had it done another time.

I have had three great experiences since going to Firestone on Ford Rd. The latest experience was exceptional, and felt the need to share. While performing a routine oil change, the Service Manager (Brett) not only identified a leak on my hydraulic steering line, but was able to locate and order the part with a rapid turnaround. When the part arrived, I was professionally greeted by Todd and then Brett and his team repaired the damaged line. I have been really impressed with the service and repair staff. Thanks to Brett and Todd, I will be returning!

This place is good. I have gone there to have work on both of my vehicles for various issues. They are pleasant, knowledgeable people. I took my car once for coolant issue and they said they just had to tighten a loose clamp and I was good to go. After I brought it home I noticed the issue wasnt fixed and I was leaking a lot of antifreeze out of my car, so I took it back. After they spent more time with it, They found the issue was actually my thermostat bypass pipe and replaced it. I have always had the work done here and will continue to do so. They are almost always busy, but they never kept my vehicle extremely long. They are very nice and they are great about calling you when they find the problem. They reccomend whats needed and will work with you on doing the most important work before the work that can be held off on. I like this because sometimes I cant afford to get everything fixed at once. I pay for them to fix whats most important than take it back for the minor things. The young lady up there is honest and helpful with anything and everything. Thank you all for running a great business and keeping this customer very happy!! 😁👍

I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for my AC to be fixed, dropped my car off at 10:30, by 4 pm they called me saying they wouldn’t be able to work on my car until the following Tuesday (3 days later). My neighbor made an appointment at Midas the same day and got his car back, fixed, the same day. I probably could’ve gotten my AC fixed somewhere else in the two weeks I was waiting for my appointment. It’s hot out there, guys.

I took my vehicle for them to check squeaky noise. All Im expecting is to receive a quote but they just fix the problem without charging me! Totally beyond my expectation and definitely appreciate their kindness.

This is a full service auto repair shop that can fix anything and will give you a diagnosis for a low price for those do it your-selfers, dont forget the full service tire shop also. ;0)

My visit to this Firestone was very good. The staff was polite and courteous. The manager listened to my issue, his mechanic diagnosed the issue. The manager gave me a quote for the work, and completed the work within the timeframe I was told it would take. The cost for completing the work was exactly what I was told it would be and not a penny more. I would recommend this business to others. By the way, my vehicle is operating great now! I have given my Vehicle for Tire pressure check. Firestone did not attend to the problem. Went to an another shop and got the nail removed from the Tire. None of the problems was rectified. I will not be visiting again.

Great service by Emily (manager) and team at this location in Canton. They were friendly and helpful. Although they seemed to be very busy, they got me taken care of without an appointment & got my car back on the road safely.

These guys know what they are doing and go out of their way to make you happy. They have serviced two of my cars for the past 3 years or so and I will not go anywhere else. Not only do they not try to up sell you on things you dont need, but they try and explain why certain things need to be done. Always on time and on budget. Great shop!

Very slow & poor service. We had an appointment at 9am for oil change, called and let them know we would be late and Tad was very courteous. Once we arrived, I explained that my engine light came on the night before. Unfortunately, there were no technician available to check the problem. Tad called another location in Westland, it took several calls before we actually got someone, but the employee wasnt very helpful. She didnt seem to care about any issues we were having. Finally, I just ask if they could at least do the oil change that I was scheduled for. It was now 940 am, we waited 45 minutes before they started working on my car. By 11am, I was told that the car was ready ,but the mechanic forgot to put the cover back on and had to lift the car back up. That took an additional 15 minutes. We left at 11:15 am, so it took all together 1 1/2 hr. for a routine oil change. Horrible!

I always believe there is nothing like cheap and Best.. The mechanics here are professional and knowledgeable.. u can trust blindly with ur car.. But they are pricey.. I was surprised when I was charged $20 labor for the cabin air filter change.. :) I knew I will be paying little higher price for the air filter itself...

Great service on a Sunday

I have spent $1300 thus far on getting brakes fixed, this morning once again as I started to back out of the garage felt the brake pedal go down to the floor with no proper braking action. Took it back to the Firestone on Ford Rd and brought my service records, the manager said they will take a look and let me know what else is wrong. Extremely dissatisfied with the poor quality, reliability of the workmanship. Brakes dont need work every few months ! brake maintenance is required once every 20K or 30K miles especially for Honda. Ill update as I hear more from them this later this week.

I went there on a Sunday because my brakes were so worn that I almost crashed. For two brake pads and two rotors and two shoes, I had to pay over $950...I told them they were ripping everyone off and they said, I dont know what to tell you about that.Then the next day, and continuously still going on... my brakes are squeaking and making a horrific noise that they have never made before, and something under my hood was messed up from them, and it started as soon as I left their shop.My mechanic asks me every time who did my brakes because they messed up.Also they were very rude and unprofessional.I got a warranty on these brakes but every time I come in with a problem about them, its my fault and its almost a bother for them to honor their contracts.I highly recommend not to go to firestone. Everyone will tell you how much of a rip off they are. Like Belle Tire, Monroe (Speedy) and so on. Its even cheaper to learn how to do it and do it yourself or find someone who you trust to do it.

They fixed my car before...they do good work

My wife went in with a flat tire. Three times. There was a nail in the tire we found after it went flat a second time (the first time they only put air in the tire and said nothing was wrong). The second time we took it in an explained there was a problem with a tire they said there was nothing wrong and just put air in it. They charged us for both of these visits. I sent my wife in again, a third time, and waited outside. A third time they put air in the tire and insisted it was fixed so I went marching in there demanding to speak with a manager (who is always unavailable). They fixed it, without charging me (a fourth time).Then I took my car in for an oil change, now its leaking oil and they are trying to tell me its not their problem.Dont go here. For anything. Its a scam.

Funny how every time you come here your car needs all this stuff done and my actual mechanic says they are always lying. Tried to tell me I need 4 new tires and tie rods. My car has 20k miles on it. Screw this place. Not to mention my wait time. Been here for 2 hours for an oil change.

UODATE no one ever followed up with me about this issues as they said they would FYI but i had problems starting my car, took it there for a diagnostic and they found multiple things wrong with my car. I got it all fixed and the very next day i had the same issues as before the repairs and they told me that there was nothing else they could do for me because they couldn’t duplicate the symptoms i was experiencing. I took it to another car place in Ypsilanti they gave me a free diagnostic, figured out the problem, and fixed it without “duplicating they symptoms” i will never even consider spending a dime at this establishment going forward.

Had tires put on my Camaro and work van was very happy.. When I went back, there was a different guy behind counter Im use to seeing... They wanted $600 for 1 rotor and rear brake pads and 1 slide pin.... You got to be kidding me.... The prices on the quote was just absurd.. Needless to say.. Rear pads all new slide pins. Rotor was just fine.. $35 and 40 minutes of my time, brakes were done. One thing that really burned me up was the shop manager ( i think) was just staring at me with evil eyes while i was at the counter to get my keys and quote i paid $27 for.. I think he was more upset than me he didnt get to rip me off... How sad..

I made a 9am appointment online for a brake inspection. I got there at 8:55 and dropped off my keys. At 9:50am, my car was still sitting in the parking lot and they had not touched it. I called Belle Tire in Westland where I got my tires. They too offer a free brake inspection. I made an appointment with them for 8am the following day, and they took me right away and I was out of there in 10 minutes. The manager at Firestone was super rude when I asked for my keys and complained that they were 50 minutes late so far and hadnt done anything yet. Her reply was well, what do you expect for free. Id never go here for anything.

One of the most surprising things about this place is that the little corner with the tv also has a plastic tire that opens up to reveal a bunch of toys for kids. I dont expect to find something like that in a simple tire place so that was something incredibly great to have at my disposal considering I have a very mischievous two year old. This kept her occupied and out of everyones way.Their tires are pretty good. You get what you pay for for sure. And they dont take too terribly long to put them on. All in all, a good place.

Son was charged $370 when telling battery probably needed to be replaced. $10 for charging bad battery, $20 for repairing a tire they only put air in. After challenging those charges they took them off. Still charging $126 in electrical checks that they said my son agreed to? Wouldnt you change the battery before doing electrical checks that werent needed? Arent the mechanics smart enough to know that? $340 for a new battery is just an obvious ripoff!Gary Smith

They just canceled my appointment with no call or nothing. Stay away from this location. When you drop your car off someone says it will be done by the end of the day. But when you call back later on it’s a totally different story.

First, this rating is for customer service only, not regarding the work or functionality of my repair.We got a flat on a Saturday night, and the only place open Sunday was Firestone that was close enough for us to get there safely on a doughnut. On the way to the store we hit a pothole and unbeknownst to us bent the rim of the doughnut. Upon arriving we were met with a smile, and a You guys got a flat? Pull it up to Bay 1 and come on in. Great! One person in the wait room and got right in, wonderful. About 30 minutes later tech comes out and says theres nothing wrong with the tire that he can see. Politely we say well something has to be wrong, it was fine when we checked the air yesterday and then after driving come home and an hour later completely flat tire. Tech says oh well I can dip it but it will be a minute while I finish up someone else. Sure, sounds good better safe than sorry. Still an hour and a half till close, we can wait. Meanwhile guy walks in off street, buys wiper blades, gets them installed and is out in 10 minutes. After another 20 minutes wait tech comes out says I sprayed it and no indication of leak. My husband goes out to look at tire and guy looks down, oh thats new and sprays again: leaking from the rim. Now we are told I dont have time to do this today, we are really busy, its only 20 dollars to fix though. Ok, can you help us with putting it back on tomorrow? Sure itll be first on the list for the morning. My concern comes from him looking at my doughnut and saying its low and rim is bent, we ask him to put air in the doughnut he says why didnt you stop on the way in? Im sorry arent you a tire repair place? We didnt know it needed air, probably happend when we hit a narley pothole driving here for you to have us wait nearly an hour after telling us initially there was nothing wrong with it. So after helping us with air and implying we were lazy basically, we left the tire there to pick up the next day. We called in the morning said it was next on the list. They had been open since 7 this was 930am. Was told by manager we would get a call when ready. Never received call, called again at 1230 and said if it hadnt been started we would be picking up the tire. Was told he just started it. Went up about an hour later and it still wasnt done. The manager was on the phone, and the other gentleman who was helping us brought the tire out about 30 minutes later. Issue with that was when trying to explain our displeasure with the previous days experience he indicated the young lady on the phone was the manager and he basically just said we cant please everyone. She never even attempted to speak with us after she ended her phone call. When the tire was brought out we asked if they could put it on like the tech from the day before said they would and got told it was yet more of a wait. Needless to say we wont be coming back. We should have been told initially that he wouldnt be able to address a tire repair if he didnt have time 2 hours before they closed. I know it was superbowl Sunday but then to almost send us home on a tire that nothing was wrong with just because he was too put out to actually make sure was dangerous. Second he was rude and unhelpful. The next day the manager should have made an attempt to speak with us after hearing most of our complaint (she was watching the conversation we were having with the other tech). It was a very quick fix that took 24 hours to complete and we were treated like an inconvenience by every person we DID get to speak with. The tire repair was done correctly, but this location really needs to address their customer service for minor issues. I know we werent spending hundreds of dollars there, but we could have if they had treated us like we were. I was disappointed that no one seemed to care about the low level of service we received the first day, and just continued to be disappointed the next day. I also hope this was just a rare occurance in the managers judgement to not reach out to clearly dissatisfied first time customers.

Went there to have front brake work done in August. Pads, rotors and left caliper was repaired at that time. In October, right caliper went, so had to return. They charged me for the right caliper, which I expected, and they installed new pads and rotor on that side and bled brake lines and replaced the fluid with NO charge. Was glad about that. Decent experience.

Outstanding service and reusable prices

Service is okay. Main guy that works there doesnt seem like he knows what he is doing at all. Manager is never in. This business says they fix multiple problems yet I have been back four times for a headlight and they cant even get that right. Would not reccomend this place to anyone unless they had no choice. Now after four times of paying my money my headlight still doesnt work. Poor management and employess are not thoroughly trained.

I would only recommend only buying tires nothing more or your getting ripped off.

I went to firestone mainly because I have a credit card and because I have never had a bad experience untill recently. I paid 115 on a tire for a car thats on its last leg but needed a tire to get back and forth to work. The next day it was flat, some jackass put a tire on my car that obviously had a bad rim!!! 2 days later the tire popped on the hwy could have died!! Im calling corporate!!!

Pretty bad experience in out of town and i am told they are all booked up for a wheel balance do not recommend. If you are looking for a good shop to go to Tire discount all the way.

Absolute scam. They wanted to charge me $450 to put in a $199 alternator and 1 hour of labor. When I asked about the alternator the salesman became evasive. The conversation went south quickly. Very disappointed.
