Was pleasantly surprised. i bought a brand new Cherokee in Feb, The first free oil change was due. I thought for sure that they would try to up sell me on something (detailing, tire rotation, etc.). There was none of that. They even rotated the tires for free. Amazing. It did not cost me a dime. I give them 4 stars because I have dealt with this dealership for many years and I am waiting to see if any of that changes. Will the next two free oil changes be free and effortless? We will see.

If I could give zero stars I would. Brought my Ram into service for several items before going on vacation towing a camper. Apparently, the tech “forgot” to tighten several suspension bolts, which cost me $250 more in parts (on top of the $600 spent there) another trip to a shop and the aggravation while on vacation.The reason I brought it the dealer was because I expected professional service. What I got was not even close. Never again.

I have bought two vehicles through this dealership and have had some work done in the service area here as well and have had a mostly positive experience. Buying both vehicles they have been great, on top of everything, very quick, good quality no complains when buying. Same for the service area, I dont remember her name but the lady that works at the service desk was awesome when I had an issue with my truck and had a trip I was leaving for in a couple days she made room to get me in fast so my trip was able to happen as planned. Now the issue I have with them is now that there not making money off of me (because the vehicle sale is already finalized) trying to get anyone to get back to me is an issue. After getting my vehicle dropped off to me back in April, I noticed there was only one key. So I got a hold of my salesman and was informed there is a 2nd key on the way just waiting on it to be shipped to them then would get it to me. No problem, waited a couple weeks reached back out was told he would check into it and get back to me next day. Again no problem , except he never got back to me, this happened 3 or 4 times until I finally told him it was the last time I was going through him before I was going to go to someone else that would handle it and I was told the key still wasnt in but he would talk to his boss and get back to me. Again never got back to me and that was last week. Then even if there wasnt a second key, over a month ago I even offered to buy a 2nd key and just asked him to get me a price on one and of course got same response of let me check into and get back to you, never did. Im not trying to bash the salesman because he really was great when we were making the deal and even drove out to me because I couldnt make our appointment to finalize everything. But long story short if your buying a vehicle here just make sure you dont leave the dealership without everything your suppose to have because in my experience if you do your probably not going to get it.

I purchased a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee altitude from them in December of 2020. Tyler and another employee were very helpful in getting me set up with a decent deal despite my credit. I was very determined to get out of my 2017 Cherokee from penn yan Chrysler due to the oil issues and luckily these guys helped me do it. I walked away with my interest rate cut almost in half, a vehicle thats significantly better, has all the luxury features, plus 25k less miles. The only change was a higher payment but it was worth it to me since I knew the GC was more reliable. Overall very happy with the service and my purchase almost a year later.

This review is going to be redundant as my husband Jamie had previously left a review who is more patient then I am. I’m very disappointed with our service. At first as paying customers service was great because as I said we are paying customers spending more than this suv is worth. They were very accommodating to our needs. But at this point all respect I had for this company is gone. My current view point is they’re good when your spending thousands after that you’re not worth their time. I feel we have been more than patient. I bought a 2018 Dodge Durango in april this year and a day after having it delivered we realized they never gave us our second key. We reached out and they assured us we would have it shortly. Forward two weeks from then and here we are having to call them for a update just to be ignored and told I’ll get back to you. Two more weeks go by same scenario. I’m starting to get annoyed at this point but again my husband is more patient than I and gives it more time. Another month goes by with out communication from them. My husband writes a review and all of a sudden we hear from them so we can help keep their reputation in good standing is what it currently feels like. It is now late September after numerous attempts at reaching out for a second key they continue to state well it’s logistics issues it’s takes a while for these things to come in. I happen to work in logistics and know thats something we say when we don’t have a answer or we messed up on our end and don’t want to admit it. I know this seems silly to write a review over a key but it’s the principle of the matter.

They were great on the sales end but, they dealer traded my 2019 Ram 1500 and the 1st dealer installed non OEM wheel locks. The problem is, no wheel key was sent. Contacted my sales rep July 9th, today is August 10th, 1 month and still no resolution. I also emailed the president a week ago with no response.If I get a flat tire there is no way to remove the tire without possibly damaging it.Not happy with the after sale.

We have great history with the old owners. I dont know what happened when the new owners came in, but I havent gotten this bad of an experience from a dealer.Brought in my 08 Charger for a transmission diagnostic, and the parts were set to arrive on a Tuesday and I had an estimated finish date for Friday. Wasnt done Friday so we called and asked what was up. Front receptionist girl rambled on about inspections and other nonsense when all we wanted was a diagnostic and replaced parts. Had no idea what she was talking about and just told us it wouldnt be ready yet, and that it would be ready on Monday over the weekend. We had a total price for the cost of the parts, the diagnostics and the servicing was roughly $650, on an invoice.Monday comes and we didnt get a call so we stopped by- turns out we werent notified that the mechanic working on it wasnt in the day we were told it would be done, and wed have to wait longer.It was finally done Wednesday, and lo and behold, our invoice MAGICALLY jumped up a solid $500 from our original invoice when nothing was added or changed, averaging a total around a grand. Owners and sales manager had no idea and just remarked it was servicing fees when the servicing fees were already listed in the original first invoice, with the worst attitude.Keeping a copy of both invoices for later. Absolutely unbelievable.

Sometimes things go wrong, for example losing the Wrangler I put a deposit down on. I dont blame the salesman at all. But I dont enjoy the poor customer service that happened after that. I requested a call from the owner twice, no response and it took a week to get my deposit back. I asked the salesman to continue looking for a wrangler and have not heard back from him since that day. I was forced to move on, I have purchased two wranglers from that location (under the old owners) and I guess I expected too much from the new owners.

Our sales man, Kyle, was very attentive. We really appreciated that he and everyone else went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was positive. We traveled from Michigan to New York to purchase our new Yukon. The vehicle was just as perfect as described and pictured. The couple little issues were handled swiftly and save us from the cost of an additional day of rental car. Kyle also helped us locate a nice hotel to stay while we were there. Sales manager took advantage of my son leasing his 1st truck. Told him exactly what he wanted to hear without giving him all the information he needed. After they took his trade in, swapped plates, & signed we were informed the payment was $30 more a month than agreed and 6k less on allowed mileage. The sales team will be your best friend...at least until you sign, at which point, they wont do jack for ya. The only advice I can give if youre dumb enough to do business here, dont let them rush you into a same day spot delivery.

I had been shopping for used Wranglers for less than a month. Canandaigua Jeep had the model that met all my criteria: Black / Hardtop / Standard Trans / Low Miles. I met Devan Farnes in the parking lot and he showed me the vehicle. He got the keys and a plate and within 10 minutes I was test driving.The test drive was very pleasant and productive. Devan was quite informative about the vehicle as he showed me all the features. Overall the test drive was an enjoyable experience because it was a very relaxed, low pressure setting.My wife and I had purchased 3 other vehicles from this dealer since 1999 and had a positive overall experience each time. So, after getting my wifes blessings I decided to make the purchase!We took care of the paperwork that afternoon and I picked up my Wrangler the following day. I was pleased with the financing obtained and would have to say that I actually enjoyed the buying experience. I have been back to the dealer once for a covered service issue with a tire pressure sensor and was back out the door before finishing my cup of coffee!Devan was a pleasure to work with and I wish him continued success in the future!

The sales people at this dealership are top notch. I was not pushed into any sales or anything, I took a nice cruise around town in the car and the salesman, Geoff Case, explained all the ins and outs of the car and really amazed me. Since they Legally dont have to tell you about hail damage. Take your vehicle to a well lit area and double check it. Its sad to see where the moral compass points. Ill start with they did a great job on.my truck.. had to have a new rearend and transmission replaced..( also 3 recalls) took 3 weeks to do this... but not 1 time did they call me with any kind of update. Myself or my wife had to call them.. then I get my truck back and now I have to go detail it due to grease marks all over the truck as well as the inside.. over all they got me back on the road I just feel communicating would of been a big help...

Compared to car-buying experiences that Ive had elsewhere, Canandaigua Chrysler Dodge Jeep definitely exceeded my expectations, by getting me thru the buying process from start to finish with no problems or issues and no attempts to up-sell me on any other vehicle or package. I really regret not buying a car from these guys. We worked with Eric when we first started thinking about buying our Pacifica Hybrid. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the van, clearly understood the ins and outs of the rebates and tax incentives and just all around nice to talk to. We ended up buying our van from a dealership closer to home that is much more difficult to work with and we have been kicking ourselves ever since. If we buy another Chrysler, there is no doubt we will buy it from Canandaigua.

Dealer sold me a clapped lemon Wrx was told it was previously owned by an older person but that was a total lie when the electrical started to act out and grounded out somewhere causing the radio to no longer work. Then I reported 2 problems to them and did not get a call until the 3rd attemp explaining my frustration. All this for nothing because when they took the car in for service they told me If was my fault that the wires behind the radio were all messed up and that they can’t do anything because I got the car As-Is and it was working fine for them when it was in their possession. My salesman was really nice and understanding but I will never buy another car from here after all of this. Unfortunate because I had a few friends and family members who were going to buy New cars from here.

**Updated Review**Still giving this dealership a 1 star review. The owners response is FALSE as to no mention of tire wear and or any steering / suspension related issues were made aware to me. I did decline $2400 quote on egr and intake heater repair as i was going to get a second opinion. Once i picked the truck up, given the multi point inspection which only noted i need an air filter ( every other component on the truck was in the green and no added suggestions were ever given). I AM STILL WAITING to hear back from Dick the service manager, who has reached out me after my last review and stated they stand behind their work and if I find them at any wrong doing to let him know personally. I was given his personal cell number to do this and after 3 days now of calling his number AND the dealership, I have not heard from him. Multiple messages have been left on both numbers and still no response. Way to stand behind your dealership. I will not be returning to this dealership. I will not advise anyone to do business with them. You will get better vehicle service and customer service elsewhere.

Bought a vehicle here and liked the service at first. Come to find out the promises that were made for service on the vehicle were a lie. We also purchased an extended warranty but later found out could only be used at a Chrysler dealership. Make sure you get everything in writing before the purchase if you choose this dealership.

Eric went out of his way to understand where I was coming from and what I wanted in a Wrangler. We discussed finding a JK vs ordering a JL and what Canandaigua Jeep could offer. He took that info and found exactly what I was looking for. Within a week, the Wrangler was on-site and ready for delivery. The experience start to finish was quick and painless. I purchased a 2016 Wrangler from Kurt McNiece. An obvious family man whose honesty and gentle sense of humor was refreshing. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and when we declined a salesmens assistance during our initial visit we were allowed to browse on our own. We went back the next Saturday after browsing their website and narrowing the search down to 3 vehicles. We scheduled an appointment via email in which their responses were quick and direct. After a single test drive of a 2016 Wrangler Unlimited Sport Black Bear Edition I knew I had found the one. He worked hard with management to get me a fair deal. He spoke honestly and kindly of his family creating a comforting atmosphere. You could tell he was a genuine guy. Closed on Sundays, he had the car ready to go that Monday. Had I more time I could have taken it home Saturday. With great financing options and an even better staff I would highly recommend this crew to anyone in the market for a new jeep, dodge or Chrysler. I cant thank Kurt enough! We will continue our servicing business with them due to such a phenomenal sales experience.

Shady, shady people, whose records are clearly wrong, since I was there in 2018 to buy another Jeep, only to find out 3 days after we struck the deal on the Jeep that they were working on getting me financed for a Chrysler Pacifica. Um, what? No. To make matters worse, I was never contacted to be informed of this. I and my husband called the place 14 times and left messages with no returned phone calls because we needed to schedule the time to pick up the Jeep that I purchased. It was only after I threatened legal action that I FINALLY got through to someone and they then informed me that they were switching vehicles on me. 2013 was the last purchase I made there. 2018 was the year I was duped by shady people and they lost my business. Put that in your records.

DO NOT LET THEM RUN YOUR CREDIT!!!!! My parents and I were in the market for a car for myself. After explaining to the salesperson what our budget was and what we could afford to pay each month for the car, they wanted to do a credit check. So with my dad as a co-signer, we tried to see if we could be approved. When beginning this process, I had a credit score of around 680. They ran my credit so far seven times (the credit denial letters are still coming well over a week later). My credit score has been dropped nearly 50 points. This has been the only recent change in anything to do with my credit, since I pay my bills on time. As a recent college grad, Ive worked very hard to get my credit to the point where it was. I honestly am starting to think (especially after reading some of these other reviews) that they maliciously ran my credit over and over and multiple times to the same companies because we decided not to purchase a vehicle from them. I guess I learned my lesson the hard way :(

This review is for Canandaigua Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.I’ll start of first with the fact that my younger brother bought his 2012 ram express here my uncle ordered his 2017 ram longhorn here and I had bought a used Chevy impala from them I also just sent a friend of mine there to buy a 2018 Jeep Wrangler.....With that being said I was in the market for a new truck so I purchased a NEW 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Big Horn at the price of 49,230 dollars...as you can see between me, my family, and friends we have spent a lot of money hereThis is what my experience was when buying my very FIRST new vehicleIt started with the sun visor lights on the passenger side, they were not working keep in mind this is a new truck with 80 miles on it so the salesman (Dave Race) texted me and said he would get that fixed so I texted him back and said while your at it can you also please put side steps and NO DRILL mud flaps on it he said sure let me see if we have them in stock a few hours later he texted back and said I have them....so I texted him back and said okay put them on...no drilling right then he said CORRECTThen my pickup day came on April 23 2019 and I get the truck home and I’m checking it over and I see that the technician that fixed the sun visor got his or her greasy had prints all over the head liner 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 I had to learn to get over that but about 2 months later my brother who now has the exact same truck as me purchased those same NO DRILL mud flaps that I have so I put them on his truck for him and I noticed that my mud flaps have a few more bolts on them so I pulled them off and sure enough the moron drilled the mud flaps on my 50,000 dollar truck, the drilling even bent the sheet metal and cracked the paint 😡😡😡 and boy was I furious because rust was already started and it looked like a monkey drilled the holes because they were so off center (a total of 6 holes were drilled) at this point the truck has about 800 miles on it (hasn’t seen salty roads yet) the next day I called the service manager Matt and he said he would call me back but never did so I drove down there to show him and he said that I can try and warranty the 2 front fenders let me get back to you the next day and sure enough I had to call him back the next day because Matt must not know how to use a phone then he turned completely rude and unprofessional towards me about the situation, he seemed to think it wasn’t a big deal 😡😡😡😡😡 HOW CAN YOU TRUST A DEALER THAT CANT EVEN PUT “NO DRILL” MUD FLAPS ON I will never be going back and I will tell everyone I know including my family and friends to never go there because this just goes to show you that this dealership doesn’t care about you or your vehicle 👎So please keep this review in your thoughts when considering a new or used vehicle.... I would go elsewhere

My family has done business with this run down dealer for nearly 2 decades. After my Silverado broke down, even though it was still under warranty, I decided it was time to buy a ram 2500 Cummins. I originally spoke to the salesman Joe who proceeded to offer me 12,000 for my trade in, which according to KBB in OK shape is worth 17k to 20k. I then spoke to Matt Yeskey, who has sold my family vehicles for two decades and he said the best they could offer was 14k. I decided to take my business elsewhere, sight unseen another chrysler dealer offered me 18,500 for my Silverado, and I am now the proud owner of a brand new Ram 2500 Crew Cab with a Cummins motor. The moral of this story, is that the offers they will give you are as good as the building they use. Run down, dumpy and terrible. Take the time, drive 20 more minutes to the next Chrysler dealer. You will get better service, a better deal and work with awesome people. Even after buying vehicles here for 2 decades, they still wont want to work with you, What does this say about a new customer that walks into the shed they refer to as a showroom. In case everyone is wondering, I bought the same truck they had on there lot except with more options, added a remote start, mudflaps, a tonneau cover, 7 year 125k mile maximum care Chrysler warranty, and paid about $6000 dollars less than these scam artists were trying to get me to pay. Go elsewhere, be happier and save money!
