I love the service department at Vision Kia in Canandaigua. I have taken my Kia’s to them for almost 9 years. I have always been treated beyond courteously. They are efficient and complete all services in a timely manner. Chad , the service manager, has gone so far as provided a loaner because he was concerned that I would be stranded when they could not immediately discover the problem with my car. They are the best. Ive been going to this location for close to 10 years and always have had a great experience. I just purchased vehicle #4 today and will be picking up #5 on Saturday. They really put the customer first in every aspect, right down to the small stuff. I can remember Brian would have a red balloon ready for my son every time we came in for an oil change. Anyone that hasnt gone to this location for a vehicle really needs to stop in. You wont be disappointed one bit, Brian and Ben are fantastic and will find a solution for you.

I had an unexpected issue with my newly purchased Kia Sorento and immediately flew into a panic. The car was not safe to be driven and the check engine light was flashing. I called the Service team on Tuesday night and Zach assured me that even though they were booked up, he would do his best to squeeze me in. I brought the car in Wednesday morning as soon as they opened, and picked it back up by 3pm. Thankfully my issue was just a simple diagnostic fix. Zach and Chad and their team kept me updated on the progress to alleviate my concerns throughout the day. And when I picked it up, they had given me an oil change and detailed my interior! Currently I have a recall that causes engine damage/fire.When I made my appointment over a month ago I confirmed with the receptionist that I am bringing in my vehicle *specifically for this recall*.I arrived today and they fixed something completely different and absolutely UNRELATED, and my oil leaking/fire issue is still present.There are now no appointments for another month.I am beyond frustrated at this and calling back resulted in no help.

Absolutely the worst car buying experience I have ever had. I would never recommend them to anyone. I was very clear to the sales man the horrible condition of all the tires on 3/23/21. When we picked up the vehicle on 3/27/21 they only replaced two tires, now just over 3300 miles later the tires they didnt Change because they claimed were good, now have massive cracks in the tread. Their best answer was well we can split the cost of the new front tires.

Was sold a car by the East Rochester location in January. A creaking noise started in mid March, got it diagnosed in April and was told by this location (Canandaigua) I need $1,000 repair to replace my struts. Of course I’m out of the 60 day warranty by the time the noise even started. I *just* bought the car in January and was told it was in great condition. At this point I don’t think that was very accurate. I drive 10 miles round trip to work, I’m not off-roading in my little hatch back. How did the struts fail so quickly? I think you sold me a car with deteriorating struts. Of course no apologies for my trouble were offered and no discounts on any repairs. In fact in the middle of replacing my struts they called and tacked on another $100 to remove and replace my sway bar links. I will never recommend you to anyone for auto purchases or repairs.

Very unprofessional group and unpleasant experience!Will inform all my coworkers, friends and family to NEVER buy a car from this dealership.I was very excited to go to the dealership hoping to buy a brand new Kia K5 GT-line. I had been communicating via email with one of the sales managers (Brian) and was repeatedly informed that he marked the car as SOLD so they would not show the car to anyone or let anyone drive it. As soon as I was informed that the car had finally arrived, I got out of early from work to drive from Greece to Canandaigua to see the car and make the purchase. Once there, after 20 minutes of waiting, I was informed by another salesman that the car was taken home for the weekend by another sales manager and they would not be able bring the car back until Monday!! Brian never came back out to apologize and his coworkers in the front were the ones sheepishly apologizing in his place.Since I was in a hurry to buy a car, I ultimately ended up going to West Herr Toyota in Greece and bought (a more expensive) Camry XSE AWD with all options within a few days. They were incredibly professional and it was a COMPLETELY different experience.If you need to buy a Kia, go elsewhere! Kia is a great brand, but dont go to this dealership. Or at the very least, avoid Brian (sales manager)

Both times I’ve visited the service department I’ve been told my brake lights are out, and both times my brake lights have worked perfectly fine. They tried to get me to purchase the $29.99 service to install new brake lights both times and luckily I didn’t as they are working fine upon leaving. I understand selling is part of the service industry but there’s a difference in selling and scamming. Customers appreciate honesty and that’s how you keep your integrity as a business and establish long term clientele. I won’t be coming here again and will continue to take my service to Parmenter in Geneva.

My first visit with my 2020 Soul for a afety recall check. Friendly service, average time wait.

Never got any paper work on my deal. Asked 4 times and told I was sent with them when I left... folder had a slip in it for free oil change and that was it. Windows started to give an issue going up and down and car was burning thru oil. Took it up and they replaced relays for windows and told me the oil looked fine. Window issue was back 3 days later. 10 months into having the Kia Soul and dumping oil into it every few days, I now have a MAJOR knock in motor and can hardly drive it. Called and was told my warranty was up 10k miles ago but to fill out a new credit app and they will try to get me into something newer. After researching I find there was a recall for EXACT oil and motor issue I am having but was ignored on. Says recall was taken care of, but I honestly dont think the work was done or maybe not done right and now I am stuck with a car I dont dare drive with an 11 yr old kid who has a medical condition. Thank you Vision Kia.

We enjoyed working with Cody Allen. We like our Telluride.However, we cant recommend Vision Kia. We feel totally taken for a ride. When we went to pay we were presented with options not presented as options. Essentially they were starting with an extended warrantee of little value for about $8,000. We never saw the window sticker and it had been weeks since we were given a rough quote, or we might have been prepared for this and turned it down.My advice is to watch them like a hawk or go somewhere else.

It was an easy low-pressure buying experience, which is the way we prefer it. We live in Rochester, but this is our third straight purchase from a Canandaigua Vision dealer.

After speaking with Vision Kia via phone today, I have no idea why they would text message me a link to leave a review. But if they insist, this review is of the service dept. only. I scheduled an oil change. They couldnt get me in for weeks, so my husband did the oil change instead. Spending about $50 on a quality oil and filter that would have given us 20k miles until our next oil change. So I called and instead of canceling the appt. I changed it to an appt for a new inspection. The car failed inspection. Because despite my husband rotating the tires religiously, the tread is too low to pass NYS inspection after less than 30k miles. I drove the car off the lot brand new last May. I have less than 30k miles on the car, and the tire tread is too low to pass inspection. I think we can all agree that less than 30k is at the low end of the spectrum for tire lifespan.Then they quoted me almost $500 for a new set of tires. Like, why would I ever ever ever buy tires from you when they apparently last less than 30k miles? Im feeling a certain type of way about this so I call the dealership. I spoke w a very nice person who offered to take the car back in and have full synthetic oil replace the semi synthetic oil they put in by mistake. This will give me approx. 2500 miles over the 5000 miles I get on a standard oil change. I feel like that is a total waste of time considering its only 2500 miles extralife on the new unsolicited oil change, not the 20k miles it had when it went in there. As far as the tiresgo, I mean it says a lot about the quality of materials that they are putting on a 20 ish thousand dollar car over at Vision Kia. Again,I voiced these concerns w customer service via phone and explained how unhappy I was. I truly have no idea why they would send me a link to a public review instead of calling me and figuring out a way to make this right...

Hello I usually dont write reviews but for this place iam, recently we went up to look at vans seen one that we liked they gave us the monthly payment we where good with it asked us how much we can put down told them what we can do they went up a little higher with the down payment told them we needed to have the time to get the funds they said will work it out signed all of the paperwork for the van, they even had me put insurance on it, was supposed to pick up a few days later with the exception that I could get the funds they did give me a bit of time, to do so when we did finally get the funds for the down payment called them up to let them know we where coming to get the van they sold it from out under us, was not happy at all, they didnt even give us the courtesy to call us and ask if we had the down payment before they sold it shame on them. than they tried to sell me something else that we didnt want called up the owner brain mark told him the story he told me he would call me back this was Friday today is Saturday and no reply back from, him. Even called today they said he would call me back but nothing my advise to anyone looking to purchase a used car from here is to stay far away, not a very good experience with them at all, only good part about this whole thing was the sales person jason very very nice. wish he was working at another place so we could do business with him, if I could give them no stars I would.

Absolutely loved the service here. I have been looking at cars for a couple weeks and couldn’t find any that fit my budget and had a reasonable amount of miles. As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted told them my budget and mileage stipulation and bam car was being pulled up front. I checked the asking price with KBB and confirmed it was a good price. The biggest problem at every other dealer was getting me financed it was easy peasy for Kia. My sales person Ben was super personal and laid back. He took the time to show me how to pair the car with my phone and navigate all the controls. Definitely would recommend.

After he and i talked numbers over the next day or so and discussed her trade, we came to an agreement. By far the worse experience I have ever had with buying a car. They are very dishonest by far. Went there a month ago to look at a $13000 car. Was told they couldn’t get loan approval for that car because of a previous bankruptcy. Then showed me a $20000 car. Not what I wanted but said they could get it approved. Even though the monthly payment changed four times. Didn’t look at paper work till I got home. Big mistake on my part. They charged me $27000 for a car they advertise for $20000. I went back in and question this. They told me they had to purchase the loan from the bank. For $7000. Plus the bank charging 8% interest. I asked them who gets the extra 7000 the man looked me in my face and said the bank does. I spoke with the bank many times they said this information is faults. I contacted the attorney general office They told me I would have to start a case of consumer protection agency of New York. Which is what I plan to do. The whole deal makes me sick to my stomach where I do not even drive the car. Beware anybody looking to purchase a car from vision look over your paperwork very carefully before you sign. Orlando

I purchased a 2018 Kia Soul 2 months ago. They made me promises and never kept their word. Once they sell you the car and take your money they don’t return your calls or acknowledge you. Laughed at me about a broken door brace their dumb techs said it had no issue. I took it to a body shop with pictures as proof the door brace was broken and I had to pay outta my pocket to repair it. Also brought the car in for work. They had it 8 days and when we picked it up only half the work was done and they had to keep it another 3 days. I’m very disappointed in how the whole transaction went down and how I was told one thing and then as soon as I left the lot I was told another thing. Don’t trust or take Brain’s word for anything because his word means nothing and are just words. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere to do business. Worst Kia dealership experience ever!!! After several attempts to rectify the situation with them I made call after call to Brian and my salesman but Brian never returns my calls. I was assured by Brian he wanted to make us happy customers but in all reality once you’re out the door and off the lot they don’t care and you don’t exist to them anymore.
