Surprisingly had good experience. No luck talking to 800 #. Went to office, and young lady actually was helpful and went extra step. Got dads service back up same day. Tech that came out was also friendly and efficient

Waited for quite while before being helped. The store was starting to get busy and the lady I can only assume to be the manager dissapeared to the back never to be seen again. Guy at the front desk was great and personable. I did feel bad for him having about 7 customers behind behind me in line by the time I got to the counter. Clearly could use better management but hats off to the guy working the front desk. You are the MVP.

Horrible customer service. Have been having internet issues for months. It never gets fixed. I have all brand new everything and still have problems. They dont show up half the time for service appointments. Now they want to try and start charging g me for service calls. Why do I have to pay for you to fix your problems. Cant wait till a new provider is available. Worst service and customer service ever.

Literally THE WORST. Had an appointment for Wednesday and they cancelled on us and said they would come Saturday. Okay fine. Told us to be home from 11-2. 2 rolls around and we get a call. “We’re going to have to push back your appointment to about 3”. Ugh okay. Then 4,5,6 comes around. Still nothing. This stupid tech claimed that he came to our house and we were not home….as we’ve been home all day waiting for him. Looking at new companies to go with ASAP. Don’t waste your time.

Ive been noticing reduced internet speeds (currently paying to receive 150M service), verified with Ookla and other speed test sites. Id blamed the issue on outdated equipment and upgraded my network. Running a Wi-Fi 6 router on Wi-Fi 6 capable devices, attached to my modem with CAT6 high-performance cables, however, I was still only clocking 8Mbps download and 3Mbps upload speeds.Upon calling customer service, they reset my modem without notification and without being requested to do so along with scheduling me for a callback 10mins later. Magically, the speedtest results immediately registered 160Mbps down/8Mbps up. When I asked at the end of the callback if I had been switched to a lower speed, the agent replied yes and didnt say anything more when I asked why my speeds had been changed.So, Ive been paying for top end service with them for months while receiving speeds that wouldve been great 10 or even 20 years ago on cable internet. Guess they just hoped we wouldnt notice the change, and I suppose it worked for several months. Curious as to how widespread this practice is for them, particularly with the increased usage during the last year plus across the community and customer base. Definitely searching for other ISP options as a result of this seeming stealing of money from customers via charging for one service and providing a lesser service level intentionally.

Wish I could give negative stars. The internet has been out in our subdivision for DAYS and they want to charge ME to have a technician come out to fix their problem for a service I am paying them to provide me. Our community Facebook page confirms that its our entire subdivision, but when you call they say there is no problem. I was also hung up on. Someone come in and give us a good reliable option over Suddenlink, these guys are just the WORST! Unreliable. Suddenly disconnected would be a better name!

You have to wait outside in the heat with no where to sit for 40+ minutes because they only let so many people in at a time.Its also more than 2x more expensive to sign up in store versus online, so I waited for nothing.Save yourself the trouble and dont bother going to this location, just set up internet online.

Continue to increase the price each year and service continually gets worse. My internet has been intermittent for the last couple months. All of my equipment is new and a little nicer than the average equipment. Customer service is a joke and their pricing is unreasonable with no rhyme or reason. They just up your bill each year.

I only need internet, not TV. Told cheaper with TV but my discount keeps going down and the fees keep increasing and increasing and increasing.... When I call to remove TV to lower monthly cost, told my monthly service will be more without it. Did I mention when I call it seems no one has a clue???? Very much dislike the service I receive and terrible connection...always a problem. I was informed the actual store location does not take calls because otherwise they would not be available for face to face with customers; they are not helpful at all. Really wish there were other better alternatives here in Cabot.

The worst company I have ever dealt with. I was charged an $80 device fee that I was told was necessary but the device tech told me it was not. The tech did not lift one finger and was at my house for 2 minutes. I was charged the $80 and the customer service would not take it off. This is the definition of FRAUD!!!!

My mobile Hotspot works better than this internet half the time. Its slow and laggy and always seems to be down. Every time Ive had an extra day off or the weekend rolls around there seems to be an outage. If you have any questions and you try to call the store you get a computer to play 20 questions with or someone who barely speaks English and neither of them are very helpful at all. Xfinity is now available in my area so I think Im going to give them a try.

This internet service is GOD AWFUL!!! Being a night owl, I’ve noticed internet outages around 10pm-2am and once it goes out, it doesn’t come back till the morning. Suddenlink can’t say it’s for “upgrades” because nothing ever gets better with their service. Slow upload/download speeds even with the best package of internet. TERRIBLE customer service technicians that make you sit on hold while they “talk to their supervisor” and schedule for technicians to come to your house that never show. I seriously wish this company would get investigated by the BBB because their practices and services and support are a joke.

Worst service ever. Tryed telling me I missed a payment and they told me it was declined and the money was sent back,checked my bank account for last 5 months and no money was transferred back into my account and still shows they took my money. They are nothing but crooks and thieves. On top of taking my money they over charged for late charges thats way over what it should be from normal circumstances that is listed on their page. Dont fall for theyre bs commericals. Theyre are just liers and thieves!

Without a doubt worst internet provider I have ever had, constant internet outages (5+ a night) ranging anywhere from 10 seconds to 20+ hours. Customer service is atrocious with long holds and unhelpful employees resulting in 2 hour phone calls with no solution. When the internet does work don’t plan on using more than one device at a time. I would not wish sudden link on my worst enemy. 0 stars if I could.

I do not have service with this company nor do I want services with this company. I merely wanted them to come deal with their downed like that crosses my drive way. Cannot speak with anyone, that wants to take responsibility for their lines that are less than 4 off ground touching my vehicles causing problems. This company boasts of 24hour 7 day a week live customer service BUT that is not the case, over the weekend it is a computer bot that cant take a message or comprehend anything. Their live customer service representatives wont speak to you unless there is an account for them to look up. It doesnt get any better when speaking with management. Called utility service provider to report a hazardous problem and they could care less, just kept passing the line to some one else. I have photos of the power pole, service provider box and downed lines.

My wife has been trying to get anyone with your company to do something about your downed lines. All suddenlink is worried with is an account number to associate the complaint with. We do not have services nor do we want services with a company that disregards concerns from public in such a manner. My wife has called, texted, emailed, even went to cabot office reporting the problem and yet nothing has been done on the part of suddenlink. We have tried everything that suddenlink asked. I bet if we called 7 on your side or local news station reporting our problem suddenlink would do something.

I see a lot of one stars on here and I am baffled. Twice now Ive gone into the store for one reason or another. Both times the staff were courteous and kind. They helped me and sometimes went above and beyond. Ive never had any issues with this company, with my billing or otherwise.

I have an unlimited data plan but have been charged data overages for months. Every time I call (5 times now) Im promised it will be credited and the issue will not occur again. My $71 bill is over $500. They shut off my service for unpaid balance. Classy. Zero stars.

Just finished a chat to discuss my poor wifi service. The rep was as nice as someone texting you can be. We havent had the usual spotty service weve grown so affectionately used to but instead its been non-existent service. We cant even hold a phone conversation unless wifi is off because of the constant dropped calls. Funniest thing is after I decided to stop wanting a credit and instead decided to go back to Xfinity now that its available, the wifi has been working again. I guess Suddenlink really doesnt want you as a customer. Im almost 50 and have moved around a lot. Ive never had a worse experience with a cable/internet provider. I literally believe theyre going to lose an entire military base worth of business because they refuse to improve anything. Good luck and goodbye!

My wife is at risk of losing her work from home job at this point. Just moved here and have not had internet most of the the time. When we do have internet the quality is so poor its not worth trying to use. It has been days and still nothing has been done. Called customer service and the best they can do is send a tech in a bout a week. From what i understand the complex i am in has big problems but suddenlink doesnt have an issue getting a tech out to install a box and walk away. I am about to make my final phone call. I have been with suddenlink almost 2 weeks now and thus far i am not impressed.. .50 Mbps dowload and 8 Mbps upload. Garbage guys cmon now...

The local shop in Cabot doesnt even have a phone to call and they close so early I cant get out there to change my broken modem. Plus customer service is a nightmare to get ahold of. Being charged more than I agreed per month, about $20 more. My cable connection is glitchy about 20% of the time. Had better service when I was with Dish. I wouldnt recommend suddenlink to anyone. Get Dish or Direct TV, anything is better than what suddenlink is capable of providing. They know they provide bad service and do nothing to try and make it better. This is the second time Ive used them and its just as bad as the first time, nothing has improved.

Five phone calls to suddenlink, And nothing has been Resolved. Suddenlink Called me with an offer For cable and to increase my interner speed. PER customer service the offer did not exist for my area for 200mbps. I did not accept the cable installation. Too much wiring across one Room . AND NO WIRELESS SERVICE available.5 calls later and nothing has been resolved a follow up call today from customer service from suddenlink wanted to know why I did not accept the installation , so I explained AGAIN, at that time I was told the Internet speed was not even available in my area. Terrible. My service gets shut off even when I have paid. I get told I will get a credit applied to my account when they added a transfer charge but my account was already paid in full. Twice. I get the highest speed and its never reached that high speed. I dont have any other options at this time because its all I have offered in my area besides CenturyLink. Im just warning you, its not worth the money or time. They dont listen to you or fix anything, just transfer you. ALOT!

We have called an insane amount of times but always get transferred to be put on hold. No one ever answers. The local office claims to only be able to take payments. Just letting you all know, if you are going to cancel your internet service (suddenlink), and trying to save money from them, you better cancel it before the cycle. Otherwise, they won’t prorate the days you didn’t use it. I called them many time to request for it but they never did it. I have to use my phones hotspot most of the time in place of my internet. I have called multiple times for assistance and they have me unplug and RE plug it works for a few minutes but I have to do it every time I use internet I really am considering just not having internet and use my phone hotspot for everything. Zero stars would be more accurate -- this was the least helpful company/staff Ive worked with in my 8 years in Arkansas. They use every excuse possible not to help -- you cant schedule to shut off your service in advance -- for example 2 weeks before...they respond its too early and to call back a week out; when you turn in equipment and want a receipt -- they cant do that either and explain to you that you need to drop it in the box and theres a code...but apparently you cant scan the code in their office and, of course, no one there ever makes a mistake and the customer is left with nothing. I will not use them at any point in the future. Useless--

Ive NEVER experienced a worse internet service than this joke of a company. Ever since I got my internet installed about 2 months ago Ive had problems. It cuts in and out throughout the day which is horrible when working from home. They claimed the highest internet package they had was enough to support 2 Xbox online at the same time but it barely supports 1. It took 3 hours for my husband to update a SMALL game on his Xbox.

Worst company Ive ever dealt with.same issue as others have posted of them charging me overage fees for months when i have unlimited internet. after a LONG back and forth they were in debt to me over $700...most recent issue: myself and a good part of my neighborhood has been without internet 6 days now.they were aware of the problem for a day or two and finally they had trucks outs here the day the snow started and one of them told me they found the problem and were working to fix it. they have since been closed because of the weather. Streets were fine for their big trucks to drive on especially after the main roads were plowed the next morning but theyve remained closed and will not work on the issue. no one is in the office and none of them are working. internet should be an essential company considering most people have to telework and complete school online because of COVID.they literally started to look for the problem, said they found it and then said oh well, we will wait and take the next week off even those the conditions are workablei just had to get my wife and 3 yr old out in the snow storm to go across town for my wife to be able to complete her school work.SuddenLink doesnt care about its customers. They only care about their money and they attempt to sneak extra money by charging many people extra fees as you can see through out these reviews.Cabot only has one internet service, otherwise this company would be out of business.

How does this place even Exist? Where to begin.. The Staff.. The prices.. Or the monopoly here in Cabot, AR.. Thats right, One Provider for all! The Staff ,in the front Office, are some of the rudest people on Earth. I do not exaggerate. A six hour trip to the DMV would be more fun and helpful. Its one thing to not know anything about the services you are providing.. Its another to act like you do, then go out of your way to belittle customers. Prices change monthly or whenever they deem necessary I guess? Be ready for random fees on top of other fees... Customer service terrible. Shady actions are the reason for my rating. Ordered service installation which happened to be on a holiday, but prior to finalization explained special circumstances involved. Was assured there was no problem as long as there was electric on location. Tech came out barely left his vehicle before exclaiming the install couldnt be done. Called the following work day (Monday) to request a refund and the automated service stated there was another installation appointment. I left at least 5 vm starting that it made no sense for another appointment and ONLY wanted my money returned. Daily tried numerous times to reach a person and continued to request a refund. Unexpectedly, another installation guy popped up, whom I chased off telling him also that I ONLY want a refund. The last guy I spoke to said I needed to go to a Suddenlink store and request my refund. Guess what, all stores were temporarily closed due to the pandemic, which I believe he knew. Long story short, after several calls to customer service & them returning my calls NO ONE noted on the account my refund demand. The last girl I spoke to finally put the request in, after I had her read my prior call records. She noted that yes there were many times I requested a refund but no one put it in. Its now 3 weeks later and it SHOULD be credited to my card no later than 2 more days. Fingers crossed. Stay away from Suddenlink!!!

They are the only ISP available on Little Rock Air Force Base that isnt satellite. Suddenlink takes full advantage of this by charging extremely high prices, and increasing rates by over 10% every 6 months. The service goes out daily, and you receive about 60% of the advertised speed. When we contact customer service to resolve issues with speed, we are told that 60% is acceptable!Imagine if I only paid 60% of the bill. Would suddenlink believe it to be acceptable?This company is full of disgusting parasites. Stay away.

Suddenlink is horrible all around. I have been a customer for 7-8 years and havent had a lot of problems. I have talked to 5 representatives about my problem and all of them could care less and am sure that 1 of them lied since the remaining representatives had no idea what I was referring to. I am currently trying to move so I put my account into what they call a seasonal close which last 6 months and just call when your ready to turn service back on at the new address. sounds like a good deal since everyone knows if you call suddenlink your price can change for the worst and with less services. Anyway they forgot to let me know that when you do that you still have to pay 10 dollars a month for every service. So after 3 months Im surprised with a 90 dollar balance with late fees. This experience left a horrible taste in my mouth and Im out. I will pay the 90 bucks and will go somewhere else. Yes suddenlink is a more affordable option and the service works when its working. But the customer service has pushed me away I understand policy and understand bills but I dont understand the way they treat customers. If I spoke to one of my customers the way some of the representatives have spoke to me I would atleast be wrote up if not fired. Of course after reading the other reviews I guess I shouldnt be surprised. Hope this helps someone if not, Ive complained enough to make myself feel a little better.

This company takes your money and then sends you on wild goose chase for deptments that are closed during normal business hours. If you have any other choice - go with them not suddenlink. I have been with suddenlink for two and a half years and in the last year and half my bill has steadily gone up. The rate increases doesn’t include any new services, if anything I have lost TV channels. Don’t contact them because than the bill really goes up. I haven’t even been offered new equipment. Worst customer service you can get out there. We moved in a new house that wasn’t able to have service due to missing a part in the outside box. First technician came out and “accidentally” started our service and “didn’t” know how to cancel the service. We got our first bill even though we had no service so we had called to dispute the chargers. They “opened” multiple cases for the refund that we never received for no service. After months of calling to see what the status of the cases were they ended up telling us because it’s been past 60 days we no longer could dispute the charges. Suddenlink is unprofessional with terrible customer service. Do not get Suddenlink at all costs as they will screw you over and lie to you. Also, they were adding over $30 monthly even though when I built the package on their website it told me a completely different price, and of course Suddenlink’s answer was that the website is wrong?

System buffers constantly, at least 15 times in under 3 hours. Internet is down 20 or more occasions in a 30 day period. The worst internet provider it has been my misfortune Ive encountered. The only reason Im not switching is because there is only one other provider that Im allowed to contract with, and theyre no better. I cant receive a credit for the down time because they only credit occurrences of 36 hours or more, very inhospitable.

Its impossible to get in touch with a live agent. It took over 2 hours for my husband to get an appt booked to have a line moved... then they booked it as a change of service instead of moving a line and the technician couldnt even do it because he didnt have the correct tools based on the work order from suddenlink. I called to see about upgrading my internet and was told I had the fastest (which isn’t the best, overpriced and constantly goes out) and instead was hassled for 10 minutes by a foreign guy trying to sell me altice mobile which I definitely don’t need being that I wish I didn’t have to use suddenlink at all because Of constant issues. Also I scheduled an appointment for a technician to come fix the issue with my cable box not working and the technician never shows up at the schedule time and I get an automated call saying the issue has been resolved, which it obviously hasn’t been. Giving them 1 star is still being too generous.

So far, so good. Internet is too high for me but their basic value pack is pretty reasonable for what all you get. Prompt installation. Might change my mind if the price starts to rise like people warned me.

I wish I could give ZERO stars to this company. They are the ABSOLUTE WORST company I have ever dealt with in terms of quality of product and customer service. They have exorbitant pricing for mediocre internet quality and their customer service department is abhorrent. I would pay more money to literally any other company if they would come in and provide an ounce of better service than Suddenlink. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU CAN GET ANYTHING ELSE.

I keep getting charged for going over my data limit when I have an unlimited data package. I have to call every month to get my billing fixed and I am promised it wont happen again. Now this month they removed my unlimited data packaged and back charged me for several months. No one will call me back and every time I call we get disconnected. WORST. COMPANY. EVER.

Tell you to log on internet when service is out. Do you even know how the internet works? They say they will send technicians to solve problems and never do so. Overseas call centers and no such thing as a discount or special offer they just Jack the rates back up. Dont forget they will always bill you and not credit anything they say they will.

Inflexible policies, foreign owned and operated. Average customer service call over 1 hour. Was told by the loyalty department that suddenlink bills one month in advance and if I wished to disconnect I would pay through the end of the billing cycle (3 weeks out). Even though the service would not be utilized at the address, they are charging me anyways.My first experience I brought my own modem then had to physically show the customer service office my modem in order for them to remove a modem rental from my bill.This company is trash. Bring telecom back to the US.

Ordered internet service at my property, told it is turned on (charged for a service charge for tech coming out). I look and no signal, I call for service, I will have someone out in 6 days, by the way if they think its my equipment there is another service charge, okay. I get a call 2 days later, we think its working now sir....well okay let me drive out to the property to check...nope, turns out overseas tech support just wanted me to unplug and plug device, which already did that when I spoke with tech support the 2 days prior. Service guy comes out that Saturday sees the wire at the street side pole is unhooked, first red flag, but after hooking it up he says there is no service at the pole. He would request further techs to find out the problem which is likely bad hardware somewhere down the line. 9 days later I get my bill for service, I call the number for billing as I havent gotten service yet. The overseas call center woman tells me I will keep getting billed and when service is finally working I can call back and get a credit up to that point, and she will put in a request for a service tech....I already had a request put in by the last service tech 9 days ago. So here I am expected to pay for service I dont have yet.

I have been a Suddenlink customer for over 20 years. I am now retired and on a fixed income. My cable bill gas increased 3 times in 3 months and is now over $215 per month! Im not getting any better service or anything really for this high price. How can you offer $57 a month, for life, for new customers but stick it to long time customers? No senior discount, some $70 special discount that never lowered my bill at all. Glitches in reception constantly, picure freezing up then goes to resetting TIVO, four days last month with no Internet, streaming services stopping constantly. All the while, raising monthly price. Now, its more than double what my monthly electric bill is!! As a senior citizen on SS, you are making it impossible for me to afford yet when I call, Im treated poorly by your customer service people. Im completely disgusted with this company.

I started paying around $70 per month. Now they arecharging me $103 per month. They are also offering new lock able rates to new customers but not to older ones. So a loyal customer like myself is paying more than someone new. and they keep jacking me up. Im going to switch this month. I cant afford this. If I could give 0 stars I would have.

I wished I could give 0 stars. I have had intermittent internet for 3 weeks, and I guess the maintenance folks are too busy for Business accounts paying $125 a month for just internet. I guess they have you in a contract so their is no need to get customer issues resolved. Third world countries get better service.

The worst service provider I have ever dealt with, they are the only provider for the dorms on base. They charge an insane amount for the horrible services they provide. They never answer their phones and when they do, they are extremely rude and unhelpful. I would honestly prefer dial-up instead of these guys. Absolutely horrible!!!

This place is a complete joke. signed up for 100mbps internet and cable for 100 a month and my bill is 160 a month and not mention literally goes out multiple times a day. tried 3 different modems still do it. and if you call you sit on hold for 3 hours waiting on a person never get one just eventually get disconnected. honestly dont know how this place is still in business. worst cable internet ive ever had and worst prices.

Had to wait 1hours on hold to get a service rep. When I tried to talk to them and could barely hear them they said that they wanted to call me back , I told them that I had been on hold for an hour and needed to talk to someone to get an issue resolved that has been going on for two years and that I need a tech to come out and fix the issues. At this time they hung on me . no call back . I called back again on hold for an hour when i got second rep and was some what helpful and said that he had scheduled a tech for the next morning . The catch I had to take a half a day off and to wait for him to show. when he got here he repair my cable but said that he could not bury the cable and finish the work order that was some one else department. He did make not of this and said that some one from the burring crew would be out to do it . Ihave been waiting two years to get this done. This has to be the worst CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.Would like to give them an negative 10 stars
