I made a hitch installation appointment back in July for installation of 8/29 at 9am. I received confirmation of appointment and showed up at 9am. The rude man working said they don’t complete hitch installation on Sunday’s or mondays but I had a confirmed appointment. I received no notice or communication that they don’t do hitch installations and talked with customer service. They were going to have Melissa the manager at This location reach out to me and I have not heard anything. Terrible customer service at this location and zero communication on my appointment. The customer service lady I talked with also informed me my hitch is not even delivered yet but again I was never told this. Very frustrating when we have a move plan set up for moving states. Will be waiting for a call from Melissa or another manager.

Rented a trailer, during hookup the lights didnt work, so Melissa said she would cancel the transaction because they cant send out a trailer without working lights. No problem. they never cancelled the charge and I had to dispute with the bank, even after calling to remind them.

There is Extremely rude Customer service representative there name Jasmine Liberty. I will never shop with this location again! Ive spent my money with uhaul for over 20 yrs and at this location a few previous times. I also spoke with the Manager Melissa Deason who also calmly completely dismissed my issue and complaint about the service received.

Horrible experience. Nasty attitude, poor customer service. Charged extra for gas, this is stealing. I used 22 miles and filled with $5 of gas @ 2.35... over 2 gal of gas. There system was down so when I returned it I got no proof of charge just drop your keys here and well bill you later. While I was there a customer had an issue with her lock and was told to talk to three different people. Come to find out they had put on a different lock( not a red tape one) to keep her stuff safe?? Then told her she needed a different lock, but they couldnt sell it because the system was down and the employee couldnt do the math to collect cash. Horrible.

Poor customer service! I moved a few months ago across the country I have valuable items in this storage during this covid-19 I called and asked for help with one month for additional time for payment with out fees not even asking for much extra time they promised no fees but still applied also took money off my card automatically without my permission when I specifically asked for no auto pay in the same conversation. Now I can’t I get through to store at all and the call center made a fake ticket that I never got a call back or email about since it was so called made. I can’t wait to be able to go back & get my stuff I never call for anything and the one time I do just the worst ! I’ll be reporting this location to BBB as well during a time like this is when great customer service is needed most. & they lied and said whatever to just get me off the phone and the owner never picks up or responds either.

Somewhere on this lot is a U-Box my client sent to me on 10/16/18 ... still not received at my business location in suburban Denver, Colorado, as of today, 5/8/19. Thats 204 days. Incredible. I have spoken to more than 30+ Uhaul customer service agents, none of who have been able to resolve this situation. This begs the question -- what is customer service for if its not to provide customer service? I encourage anyone reading this post to never use Uhaul lest you find yourself in my situation. Im exceedingly disappointed!

We had the best experience here! We picked up a trailer and had trouble with our tail lights. They were able to help us get the right equipment for a solution and they helped us re-wire the equipment on our car. I cannot thank the employees that helped us enough. They really saved our day!

Great Bang for your buck! Extremely satisfied with their service. The manager Alex, is very courteous and awesome to his customers. I had a billing issue and he resolved it very efficiently and even knocked off my late fees since I set up auto pay. 10/10 would recommend!!

The manager Alonzo was amazing! Super knowledgeable on all the questions I had and the next steps I needed to get done in order for him to get my UBox ready for my move. He made sure the trailer, and the box was good to go himself before we left that way I had no problems at all. Plus, he was super friendly and would crack jokes during the process. I will definitely be coming back to him again!

I had picked up a trailer for a one way rental. Circumstances changed and I returned the trailer in less than 24 hours. Alex, the manager, refunded my credit card and rescheduled my trailer for later. Leadership and flexibility! !!!!

Talk about 5 star service. Wife and I scheduled a online reservation for a large truck for a recent move. We picked up the truck pretty quickly upon arrival. The clerk ( I can not remember his name) was extremely helpful. Truck ran great and dropping off was a piece of cake!Update-Devonte Blair was the clerk and was great!My family has been to this location a few times now and each time has been seamless. I am not sure why so many negative reviews but we reserved the truck and arrived before the reservation time and were able to get the truck quickly and had no issues each time.

Upon arriving home items were missing from our vehicle!The only thing this store excels at is wasting its customers time. I scheduled a hitch installation two weeks prior to the appointment, the day of the appointment I show up, and they dont have the parts to complete the job. Are the employees helpful, do they apologize, do they come up with a solution? If you answered no to all the above you are correct! Their attitude was oh well, best of luck to you. I had to walk them through different options that could end with me getting my hitch. What was supposed to be done and completed at 2pm wasnt ready until 4:30pm.When I complained to the manager John about how long the install took and how they didnt have the parts ready at the time of my appointment he said that he didnt have to get the parts I needed he could have just cancelled my appointment and made me come back some other time. This is how the manager thinks about customer service! If he has the parts for your appointment hes going above and beyond for you!I would not recommend them, go anywhere else because the worst that could happen is that theyre as bad as these guys!

I own a food truck and one of your employee refused to fill up my two 100 lb tanks on 8/22. I have my tanks set up with valves for easy fill up and he didnt want to sell me propane. Lost my business for good. I pay $150 every time I fill them up. Id never go to this place for any thing.

Was able to get a 10 truck with little notice for a days use. Having already used U-haul a couple of years ago, they had all my info and getting the truck was short and sweet. Was also able to get a 5x10 storage the same day, one month free because of the u-haul rental, when the apartment fell through. Took a bit of time for that paper work, but it is worth it. Check out was a cinch. People were friendly and helpful the whole way. Definitely going to use them next time. Only draw back was no place to park while getting stuff done.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Could not have been worse. Had a confirmed reservation and went to pick up the trailer on time. They attached the trailer to my vehicle and after about 40 minutes of trying get the paper work done, Big John (the general manager) said they had rented the trailer to someone else and did not have the trailer I had a confirmed reservation for. He threatened to call the police if I went to my vehicle while the trailer was attached. No apology, just threats. Extremely rude, barely literate, no attempt to solve the problem. I would have switched to a small truck or different trailer. Big John just doesnt care. I would fire him immediately. On the other hand, I went to Prior Lake Rentals. I got a better trailer immediately and was told to take my time. I should have gone there in the first place. They get five stars.***** I highly recommend Prior Lake Rentals. Burnsville U Haul is the worst. Never again. I suppose Big John will call the police if he ever sees this review.

I scheduled a 17 moving truck rental for this location. I informed the person I spoke to on the phone I would need it for more than 24 hours, and they said that would be fine. When I went to pick up the truck I was informed that it was only a 24 hour rental and there was no way to keep it longer than 24 hours. I ended up having to rent 2 smaller trucks which resulted in spending more money than I wanted to, as well as having to juggle 2 moving trucks.Overall it made my moving experience much more stressful than it should have been. I am severely disappointed by the service of uHaul and lack of communication.

Poor service. Lairs. Pick up truck Saturday and able to keep 5 day but returned Sunday and charged over $106 saying I brought it late. Called customer service and not solved my issue yet. Please look for another option when it comes moving. Stay away from them. Thanks

Poor booking system. All I wanted is to rent a cargo van to move few things in town. It showed that I could book and pick it up here in Burnsville. In the morning when I needed the van, I got a call that the closest location is Maple Wood which means I had to go pick it up there and waste my time. Also, the Maple Wood location won’t let me drop the van any where but to the same pick up location which is odd for u haul. I thought with u haul you can pick up from anywhere and drop off anywhere.Just wast of time and money for the extra mileage that I drove to drop off the van back. Never using u haul again.

This place was very unprofessional and unorganized. We called and told them we’d be picking up u-box the following day. We spent nearly 2 hours there just to pick up a box. They spent 40 mins getting our box that wasn’t ready, then spent another 20 mins getting a ball on our hitch, after all that they couldn’t even do the paperwork properly. Or comprehend our license plate number after we said it 3 times. After all this they still charge me $25 equipment fee. Then of course the kiosk won’t run my card so that took another 15 mins. Now we have to drive back in rush hour traffic as well. We will never use this useless place again. It should not have been that complicated if the staff knew how to do their jobs.

Horrid billing practices. Over estimating billing by 45% - takes 3/5 business day to release hold and refund ur $$ back besides the fee. Reps are rude, had to call back 4 times, not well equipped to handle billing questions so they hung up on me, wouldnt tell me their name or corporate number. The corporate office - on hold 4 over 10 minutes with no curious check in to see if I am on the phone. Then corporate asked me to follow up with my credit card company to get the over charged hold resolved after 55 minute call. I have a life. I am practical so this could have been resolved simply and easy. Ugh!

Put in a reservation a week early for a car trailer for an 8 am pickup at an office near our house in preparation for moving. The day before we were to pick it up, we received a text saying that our new pickup location was 2 hours away in morning traffic. When we called to ask why it had changed, we were told that the office we set it up for only rented out cargo vans and didnt do trailers. Annoyed as is that we had been duped initially I called the specific office that we had ordered it through to see what had gone wrong. That office told me that they do indeed rent out trailers from there and the other worker had lied to us. Our new options were to pick it up in the morning losing 4+ hours of travel time or pick it up the day before, losing a day of travel on the back end. Overall it was an attrocious experience handled poorly.

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE, this is by far the worst experience I have ever had to deal with in my 40 years....I cant believe I am even giving any star at all to a place like this. I reserve my truck 7 days ahead of time by walking in. Since their app/online service is next to useless.I was able to reserve my truck and time perfectly without any issues. NOW here is the problem. On the day of the pick up, the owner himself told me they do not have the truck I reserved. His words were The computer here said the customer change the truck from 20 to a 17. Which is not true. I told him I never change the reservation. He acted like I was insane for even getting upset and said you are going to fuss over 3 INCHES of difference?, I replied it was 3 foot... none of this was even upsetting yet. He then went ahead and asked who helped me make the reservation. He called him out to prove his point that it was me who changed the truck size. So his employee said oh no he did not change the truck size it was just that the person who had the truck that i wanted decided to return it at a different state instead. and then went on about how he had called me the day before the pick up day and that i did not answer my call nor did i check my voicemail. So now back to this OWNER who started to rub it in my face saying oh whos fault is it now? if you would have checked your voicemail then none of this would of happenHow is it checking my voicemail would have changed the outcome of my visit..At this point he just wanted me to take the smaller truck instead. I told him no thanks and went to another Uhaul 5 mins down the road and picked up a 26 truck for the same price. in less than 15mins!I understand mistakes happen, but none of this was my doing. I needed that truck to get the job done in time. If they cant deliever why cant they asked the near by uhual to transfer the truck or have me pick up else where.This should of been totally possible since the uhual app and online service does exactly just that to match you with the right truck at the wrong location, so it is possible.If it was not for the owners bad attitude and poor service, i wouldnt even bother leaving his business a poor review.. its such a waste of time to even bother with a place like this, there are plently of other Uhaul 5-10 mins from this place.STAY AWAY FROM THIS HELL HOLE.

THANK YOU TREVOR AND JEFF!!I purchased some packing material and inadvertently left my debit card at the store. It wasnt until my next stop where I went to pay for a purchase, that I realized my card was missing. You can imagine the panic, right!? Once in my vehicle, I called the U haul store and was told they had it at the store and secure. While shopping at the next store, unknown to me, these guys did everything possible to try to locate me and get the card back in my possession. They even searched Facebook for my name and tried to send a message to me thhrough there. These guys went above and beyond customer service. They get the good samaritan award!

I came here just for boxes. Pulled up the the store area where you buy boxes, got out of my car and an associate stops me and tells me I couldn’t park there. There was a sign that said ‘customer parking only’ so I pulled down the small path for customer park. I see all the associates getting out of their cars in the customer parking in the front so I had to park all the way in the back. I went to the store area to buy my 12 big boxes. on my long hike back to my car, I dropped a few of the boxes in the snow/slush puddles.They really need to fix their parking situation.

Since GM John left, these replacements and fillers are not knowledgeable; conflicting info and no sense of owning up to their mistakes to regain trust of the customer. Instead- lying to cover and refusing to properly address the ongoing issue; some young guy even yelled and hung up phone after I caught the communication mixup..lie. Argumentative when WRONG is beyond wrong and now has crossed legality lines. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BURNSVILLE ONE- PENDING JUDGMENT.

Lack of communication in every regard. At this point I think it may actually be UHAULs corporate policy. We called on a Saturday stating that we would like to access our UBoxes the following day. The lady on the phone said sure, not a problem, they will be available for you to access Sunday by 9:00 am. Drove their on Sunday, the forklift drivers never got the message to pull our UBoxes and go figure there were no drivers on Sunday. At which point they said, we can leave a note to pull them on Monday. At this point I have no confidence that they will be able to accomplish this simple task.

Bad costumer service, they give me a truck with leaking antifreeze,they didn’t check the truck when i was rented, just give me the keys from the desk.There was a hit bumper and a lot of scratches and they didn’t see them before they give me the truck -i showed them.When I returned, ask for off from the price because is dangerous to drive truck with leaking problem but the guy behind the counter was rough .Open your eyes when you rent the truck from there .If you can use the other location
