I had a minor body work with CARSTAR Burlingame. However, my cars A/C did not work right after the repair. I returned to CARSTAR Burlingame for an exam, but the engineer kept saying the A/C is old and was nothing to do with the repair. I had no choice and went to another body shop. Then, we figured out the ambient temperature sensor WAS MISSING and the A/C pressure transducer WAS NOT WORKING, which caused the issue with A/C. I needed to spend $894.04 from my own pocket to fix this issue. What a nightmare!Check the invoice I got from another body shop after the A/C issue casued by the repair.NOT recommend CARSTAR Burlingame at all. If you have other choices, go there instead.

I have pretty good experience with Chilton, provided I had rather small scratch and dent on my car (so I cant speak for more severe damages). Even its a small dent, I know that matching the color can be a problem but they did a pretty good job. They even wash my car for me! Also, it is easy to drop off the Enterprise rental when you pick up your fixed vehicle -- you just leave it there.

They fixed 2 back doors and broken window from a bear breaking. Did a fabulous job.Had the Out back detailed after so looked like new. Very professional.

The staff was very professional during all my interactions, were very considerate and allowed me to park my car in their premises while we were in search of other potential solutions. I took my Tesla in for repairs and the Chilton team took care of me within a day. They repaired my bumper and even buffed out a side scratch on their own volition. Communication and customer service matter in an era where it’s almost nonexistent. These guys and gals have it covered and answered my call every time. To finish off, they washed and detailed my car. My car hasn’t looked this good ever since I purchased it. Great work!

I was scheduled to get my car on Friday but unfortunately I was not able to pick up my car before 5 pm. Alex was waiting till 6 pm for me but due to my work I couldnt be there on time. I am working as a nurse and in last minute, my patient got really sick. I could not leave work on time. Alex told me not to rush since there is a traffic. He told me they are close on Saturday but he will be there to give my car whenever is convenient for me. I got my car next day on Saturday at 9 am. Since pandemi started, it has been really hectic at work. I really appreciate Alexs help. I definitely recommend this place. They really understand and try to work with you.

The service that I received from this establishment is top notch!!! Daniel was the person who assisted me all throughout their process. He was thorough and broke down everything I needed to know about what they were going to do with the repairs.The repair was fast, it took less then a week and before I knew it. I received various notifications alerting me that my vehicle was completed and ready for pickup.The experience was especially different due to the pandemic. It was almost contactless, the only time was the initial meet up with Daniel to sign some forms and to have him take photos and the second time was picking up the vehicle.

Loved the daily email updates letting me know the progress of my car. Everyone I spoke to was polite and informative.

Chliton did not do the work that I authorized. I filled a claim with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair.NOT RECOMMENDED.

I brought my car for a small dent, about 1 long, through my insurance company (Geico). They failed to provide an estimate of the cost of repairs, which you are entitled to. They apparently started the repairs right away and by the time they send the estimate to Geico, my options were to proceed with the repairs +$1,200 or pay the stop repair fee of $250.They did an acceptable job but fairly overpriced.

I called in to ask if they can help fix my vehicle and I told them I was referred by a different Chilton because this location takes Farmers, but he was not helpful and frankly, not nice.

Was referred here by my insurance company Geico for fixing consequences of minor accident. Spent only ~20 min to drop my car for repair. Work was completed in a timely manner, and I was satisfied with the quality. Got my Corolla back 2 days earlier than expected, nice and shiny, like nothing bad ever happened. Shop staff was very sweet and courteous, and I got email updates during the process and was called immediately upon completion to show up for pick up. Good experience.

Excellent service

I called to schedule a budget of 2 cars and did not make a point of doing the service, they asked me to send the budget of another workshop that I already had in their email. I could have fixed 2 cars with them, worth almost $10,000, but they showed no interest in doing the service!

I have worked with this body shop twice in the last 6 months due to unfortunate circumstances / accidents. The first time I worked with Chilton, my expected date of completion was pushed back easily a dozen times by over 2 weeks. I needed both of my front tires replaced but they insisted that I only needed one (causing my tires to wear in a VERY bizarre fashion).The second time, the same circumstance - my expected date of completion was pushed back by about 3 weeks however...The day I got my car back, I went to put new tires on it. Costco informed me that I was missing the wheel lock & that I could NOT put tires on until the wheels were unlocked or the wheel lock key was found. (Chilton was the last place that used it)Im leaving this review up until I eitherA) Get my wheel lock key back from ChiltonorB) They pay for a replacement.Ive had to pay hundreds of dollars in rental car fees, I shouldnt have to pay MORE because they lost my wheel lock.
