Took my transmission in and the few questions I had to ask, were answered with great responses! The owner knows what he is doing and let me know of any parts damaged and those that needed replacing! Great place with quality value!

Went for the first time amd I must say I was very impressed with the entire operation there. Only thing they didnt have on my visit was 9mm ammo but no one else in town had it at the time so I cant hold it against it at all. Keep up the great work fellas definitely looking forward to going again.

Best place to get your transmission built. Darell is such a honest man he told me I didn’t need a rebuilt when he could’ve lied like some shops do but I still decided to get his mid built and boy my truck is lifted on 35 and she will rip them tires up. He will stand behind his work 💯!!!

I called them on a saturday and they answered the phone and didnt hesitate to answer my question. I was having an issue with my transmission not shifting properly and told me what to look for. It ended up being a vacuum leak. I just wanted to say thanks and if anyone has issues i would recommend you talk with these guys first.

Daryl was amazing he was upfront honest no hidden fees nothing he was just a classy respectful guy that knew exactly what he was doing and kept in contact every step of the way! I took my older Jeep in with over 200,000 miles, thinking it would probably need a new transmission. Two nice gentlemen came out, I told them what was happening they immediately performed a diagnostic test. Me being a women they could have told me anything but to my Surprise it only needed transmission fluid they filled it with fluid and didn’t charge anything! This place is TOP NOTCH!

I had the best experience at this shop. The staff are very friendly and understanding. They are experts in what they do and guide the customer through the entire repair process. During my visit I got the opportunity to meet the shop owner he was very humble and cared that I was satisfied with the service that was being rendered to me.

Great shop. I went in here to get some help with mycar although it was not transmission related Darrel and his crew took time out of their day to thoroughly diagnose my car, by plugging computer, test driving. Darrel thoroughly went through the codes, and helped me figure out the issue. As it was engine related. My first experience with this shop and customer service is phenomenal as well as the work. While I waited I spoke with a few of the guys, and they are very experienced in what they do. I will definitely come to this shop with future transmission problems. And definitely recommend to anyone that may have issues with transmission. The honesty, and the help I received from them can be hard to come accross these days. Contacted these guys and the owner Daryl was up front and knowledgeable about the issue I was having. One of the parts they installed failed on the transmission and when I contacted them they took care of it immediatly. Cant fault them for a new part failing. All of the employees were professional, nice to talk with and I will use them again if i have any transmission problems in the future.

I called and spoke with Darrell about a transmission leak I was experiencing on my car. I wasnt able to make it to the shop until well after 4:00 due to work, but Darrell immediately came out and took a look at it. The leak turned out to be the O ring on the transmission coolant line and was spraying fluid everywhere. He replaced it, filled up the fluid, and cleaned all of the transmission fluid off that had sprayed out everywhere and then charged me a ridiculously low amount compared to what other well known garages charge. By the time he was done, it was well after closing time, but he took care of me because he didnt want me to risk an engine fire trying to drive with the leak. Ill be a customer for as long as hes in business. He was a great guy and you could tell.that he knows what hes doing and enjoys taking care of people.

Hands down, Daryl is the most helpful and honest mechanic Ive ever met! As a woman whos not knowledgeable about cars and how they operate, Im generally nervous to take my car to a new shop for fear of the potential of being overcharged.On this particular occasion, I had driven from Houston to Burleson, Texas in my Ford Explorer when I experienced transmission troubles, so I was even more nervous than usual. I was close by First Professional Transmission and drove straight over (on a Saturday) and even though the shop was closed, Daryl happened to be there. He was kind enough to take time to diagnose my Explorers issues; transmission not shifting into second and fifth gears, and valve body failure. He explained the issues in detail and was honest with me when he told me I could drive my truck back to Houston if I were watchful over the RPMs and stopped frequently to rest engine several times on the way home. And it worked! I made it home without incident. Im able to get my truck fixed in Houston now, instead of having to stay overnight in Burleson and pay extra for a hotel and a car rental.Daryl not only saved me these extra costs, he also didnt take advantage of my lack of transmission knowledge, like some other mechanics might. If I lived in Burleson and didnt have to get back to Houston so quickly, I would have felt very secure in having First Professional Transmission do the work on my truck. If I could, I would have given a 10 star Google review! Thank you, Daryl!

I took my 1970 Camaro to their shop not knowing exactly what was wrong with my car. At first the owner advised me to check several different things before taking my business. Darrel the owner was reluctant to call the transmission bad even know I had a feeling that burned my 3rd and 4th gear in my 700r. It is so rare to find a mechanic shop that is willing to work with you before they start asking for money. After exhausting all options, Darrel called my transmission bad, and it was until then that we started to discuss prices on rebuilding my 700r. When my car was completed, Darrel took the time to test drive my Camaro with me to ensure that I was happy with shifts. 1rst Transmission is definitely 1 in my option and I will highly recommend taking any vehicle there.

Best transmission shop ive ever found

I visited these guys yesterday and they absolutely blew my mind. Im always nervous about going to an auto shop because of so many horror stories of crooks and fraudsters. I never know what to expect. I chose them because Google maps reviews showed them to be the only transmission shop in our area with all 5 star reviews. No four stars, no 1 stars, but all 5 stars, and 11 satisfied customers. It seemed promising so I figured Id check them out.I showed up and walked into the office. I was immediately met by a man who shook my hand and asked how he could help. I told him about my F-250 and the concerns I had. He jumped up and grabbed his diagnostic computer and said lets check it out enthusiastically and immediately. No waiting, no appointment, no hemming and hawing about his schedule, just happy to help and happy to work. I was quietly smiling at my first impression. Wow, these guys sure are motivated.We went to the truck, and he quickly got to work running codes and troubleshooting. I explained to him that my wife and son were waiting on me and I just wanted to drop it off, as I figured it would be a few days. I wrote my phone number on a slip of paper and handed over the keys.Three hours later another gentleman calls me and walks me through it. The codes and diagnostics have been run, the truck has been test driven, and its ready to go. It needs a new wheel bearing and the throttle body needs to be looked at, but its not something they do.They spent over two hours working on my truck. They charged me nothing! They didnt try and sell me a service, or try an upsell to something I didnt need. They talked me through everything and found an issue but were honest enough and kind enough to do the right thing, and I was shocked, which is sad that so many shops have reputations for swindlers.If I find an honest auto shop that is owned and run by men of integrity I make sure and let others know so they can reap some of that positive karma they are putting out there. These guys are honest! That is the number one most important thing for customers to remember. First Professional Transmission has honest mechanics.So I didnt buy anything there, didnt spend a dime. The knowledge I gained there was priceless. If you need transmission work, give these guys a try. Youll be glad you did.
