These guys were amazing. My car died 3 hours into a 12 hour trip, outside of any town in 90 degree weather and with 5 cats in a large crate on board. They got the car parked in the shade, rolled the windows down and brought out 2 big work fans yo circulate air to my babies. Due to Covid I couldnt tide in the tow truck but when Uber dropped me at the garage theyd already done all of this care, computer diagnosed the problem and gone for parts. In less than 2 hours I was underway again. Their price was also completely fair and affordable. They were my heroes of the day for sure and I owe them my cats lives. I encourage anyone nearby to use Checkered Flag!

I LOVE these guys!!! They know how important it is for me to have a car I can depend on. I recently took my car to the dealership for an airbag recall. Well of course they tried to tell me it was important to get a ton of stuff fixed immediately or I was putting myself and others in danger. Wanted to charge me a total of nearly $3K for all of it! I did have concerns for a few things they listed, but I knew better to get a second opinion. Took it to Alan and Brian and some of the stuff listed wasnt even necessary! Long story short, Checkered Flag saved me a lot of time and money and I feel much safer driving my car now! I have always gone there for my State Inspection every year, started going for my oil changes, and now Ill be going back to get the remaining items on the list taken care of as soon as I can! To top it off, they dont just see me as another customer or chunk of change. They genuinely care and know me as a person which is hard to come by these days! If you want to guarantee quality service from people you can trust... people who arent going to upsell you on things you dont need... even if you just want a second opinion, I highly recommend Checkered Flag! I doubt youll go searching for a new mechanic ever again!

I FOUND A PLACE I TRUST TO HELP ME TAKE CARE OF MY CAR !! The GOOD GUYS!!I Saved a Lot of Money buying my new car battery at Wal-Mart.My last battery from Wal-Mart lasted more than 6 years...time to replace..but Wal-Mart does not currently doinstallations.Checkered Flag installed for $20.They also Oil Change. Failed to repair our vehicle as they had given a warranty on $1100 of worked they charged. Had same issue two months later and they kept car for a week and we had to keep calling only to find out we fixed it before, but dont know whats wrong. Take it to the dealer. Stay away from this place.

The car had been under water...I was so excited sharing the joy of my daughters high school graduation. I explained that I am a single mom but wanted to provide her with a car. The guy explained that the car I was purchasing from CF Auto was going to be great! He told me to get the warranty and that they would do any repairs. A week later, the windshield wipers needed a fuse so I brought the car in. A few days later the light would not go off. Brought it back...Same guy says, that thing still running?. I became suspicious and decided I couldnt trust this place. It was all a set up!I should have known better as while I was there, a classic truck had been damaged while in thier care. The guy was about to cry! He even called the police ..THIS PLACE HAS NO INSURANCE! WTF!For the next 3 months the car was at Dodge dealership and others. I have spent over $2,000 to try to repair it. Turns out the car has been completely submerged in water. Evidence:1. Dirt under the step panels on the floor of the front door entrances2. Undercarriage bright orange from rust3. Trash in the air filter4. Rust on the seatbelts and iron parts of the seat5. Water found in various parts under the hood6. And a shuttle door which he explained as they barely used it so it sat up for a while.lNow, I didnt know this until Dodge..the maker of the suv failed to figure out what was wrong. They arent much more trust worthy because they fixed things that werent even necessary. Then I looked online for more information . I called my lender and they were furious! But magically the title stated no evidence of water damage. Hmmm...I wonder who cleared it.I truly believe this man thought I would bring the car in every time something went wrong as expected. The warranty...he knew it did not cover anything that needed repairs. The same warranty he so heavily suggested. Now, I have to repo the car. No house for us.

Got my oil changed here about 2 weeks ago. Ever since then my car has been running hot (never happened before), the engine is jumping (best way to explain it). I looked at my receipt, and they put the WRONG OIL in my car. I called and they are claiming no responsibility. They are saying the wrong oil wont mess up my car (I know thats a damn lie). I will be filing a claim in civil court if they dont make it right.

I wouldn’t trust this guy with your vehicle EVER!!! My teenage son has been taking his first truck to this guy for some repairs in the last few months and not only was he incredibly RUDE to me when I went in to ask him about what exactly the truck needed but he proceeded to raise his voice at my son and speak to him like he was an idiot! He has made over $1000 off my son (just within the last few months) and we still don’t have an inspection sticker, nor do we know if what he was charging him for was legit or not! Beware!! This guy is looking out for #1 ONLY!! No one talks my kids like that!! Hope he feels good about taking my sons hard earned money! I wish there was an option to give no stars!! Sorry excuse for a human..

IVE BEEN BRING MY VEHICLE TO THESE GUYS FOR 4 YEARS NOW AND THEY ALWAYS GET ME IN AND OUT FAST.LAST MONTH WHEN MY DAUGHTER TURNED 16,SHE WAS READY FOR HER FIRST CAR.CHECKERED FLAG STARTED SELLING USED VEHICLES LAST YEAR WE GOT HER A MAZDA WITH LOW MILES AND A WARRANTY.THEY FINANCED THROUGH A BANK EVEN THOUGH MY CREDIT ISNT SO GREAT.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHECKING THEM OUT.

Horrible service not honest at all sell bad cars to set up you to bring the car back to get more money out of you. Then the work thats gets done is another set up for you to keep bringing the car back.

This is the second time i have taken my cars to checkered flag and had to take the vehicle back to be fixed. i recently took my daughters VW to them to replace the struts. it took an extra day and when i got it back the car had no brakes !!! we took it back and fixed these but now the speedometer and the wiper motor wont work. i watched as the 2 mechanics tried to bleed the brakes, and as they did they would start the motor to run the brake booster but the 72 VW has manual brakes !!! any body with solid mechanical ability would know this, i finally told them about it not having a booster as i felt it was a huge waste of time !!! 2 days later i went to get the front end aligned at another garage only to find out there were parts missing and could not align. on further inspection the strut had been bolted to a rubber bushing, missing parts and obviously not correct or safe. when not 2 ft away was a complete side any one who cared would have noticed and seen the difference. maybe even said some thing to me about it !!! the owner said the job had ate their lunch so i gave an extra 100 dollars to cover labor and materials. after i found the missing part i went back to checker flag to have it repaired and they left me standing in the drive until i finally left. obviously once you pay you are not as important as the new unpaid customer !!! both kids working on my car were not state certified mechanics as the sign states yet the rates expressly imply the mechanics on hand are qualified !!! ABSOLUTELY NOT THE CASE !!!!! Not only are the hands incompetent but the management does not stand behind the work performed or for that manner check the vehicles before they are returned . this car is my 16 year old daughters car and i shutter to think what would have happened if she had been the first to drive it with no brakes !!!
