I agree with the person before me, best car buying experience I’ve ever had. I set out with an idea of what I wanted and Charlie made the process easy from start to finish. I love my new car already (just picked it up last night) and wouldn’t hesitate to refer friends and family there. Oh, and the fact that they made my young daughter feel welcome with balloons and entertainment while signing paperwork made it that much easier for us as a family. Thanks again for everything!

Probably the best car buying experience Ive had. I got a fair price for my trade-in, a fair price for the car I was buying, and the entire process was pleasant and relaxed, with no strong-arm sales tactics and a lot of flexibility on their part (I had some unusual requests). I would definitely buy from them again, assuming they had the type of car I was looking for.

July23, 2021 - I love my EOS convertible and one day my top would not go back up. Windows would not work and trunk would not open. The service guys worked on figuring out the problem for 3 days but they finally did and only charged me for 3 hours! Thanks to John & Desiree for their extra special effort. If I ever replace my EOS I will buy a car here!

I was very happy when I picked up my car. Then I went for the first oil change, which was supposed to be free. I got a bill for $200. I spent weeks debating this with the dealership after the fact. Of coarse, I was correct. Come end of my lease, Someone named Paul told me he was unable to negotiate a buy out on my lease over the phone, although we are currently in a pandemic. I am not sure if he has ever sold a used car before but I would confidently say that I would never do business with these crooks again.

Great service experience! Desiree was great and explained everything to me. I have now serviced both my cars there (neither being vw) and will continue coming back! Waiting area is cozy with a woodstove burning. Close to some nice trails to spend time while I waited. I loved that the employees genuinely wanted to help, and gave great advice.

Sheri took her 2016 Volkswagon Tiguan to Morong to get a recall notice (airbag) taken care of. Was advised that the work would take 2 hours. It took over 5 hours. BUT worst of all, they broke the rear view mirror & had the gall to claim that it came in that way. VERY unsatisfied.

We experienced a no pressure laid back purchase. We had arrived late for our appointment, almost closing time on a Saturday. Both Alex and Nicholas were kind enough to stay late and were a pleasure to interact with throughout the purchase, even when we decided to change Tiguans mid-purchase paperwork. When we are back in the market for a vehicle we would definitely purchase another vehicle from them as well as recommend Morong Brunswick to friends.

Simply the best Service Department in the Greater Portland area. Kylie Patterson is the service advisor and I cannot say enough good things about her. Her compassion, sense of humor and general knowledge of the recall/warranty coverages is exemplary. I am a very difficult customer with grueling questions and demanding of updates. Kylie called me at every major event with updates on my vehicles status. If you own a VW and are not using Morong Brunswick Service department, you are not using the best of the best. Keep up the good work Team Morong Brunswick.

I am on my second vehicle purchase from Morong and I can’t say enough about the sales team here. They are not your average everyday salesman like I have known and dealt with at other dealerships. They are not pushy and are great people to talk too. They take the stress out of car purchasing and are very willing to work with the buyer. I would highly recommend others to do business at Morong in the future.

If I could give a zero I would. We had by far the worst experience walking into this place. Nicholas the sales man that we had the unfortunate experience meeting. Was the most side ways talking back peddling flat out lying dirt bag I’ve ever met. He went as far as to tell me he would sell the car before I got the chance to come back just so I couldn’t buy it. He repeatedly lied and got called out for it and refused to answer questions or misinformation he was providing. I work in a place where six thousand other people work and I absolutely will not spare a punch when I tell people about home much of an unpleasant experience I had walking into this place. What a complete joke.

Brought my car to add a factory tow kit module. I did all the work, all they had to was activate the module. It took 3 hours and the issue they had wasnt with the install, it was with the ambient light, which had been turned off at the factory due to a recall. I was charged for a full install and Im having issues with my information system. Weve been taking out vehicles here for a while and service has not been as good as it used to be.

Sales manager Matt Brown is human. This sets him apart from all the other car salespeople I have encountered as I explore my options. After going to four other dealerships, he was the first one to explain all the pros and cons of leasing vs buying. He did not come down on either side. Just the facts. I appreciated his straightforward approach.

Absolutely horrible. I purchased a vehicle in March that they had kept within the dealership for the last 6 years. They claimed it was in impeccable shape. I was going to buy the vehicle cash but the finance manager claimed it was not up for a cash sale as he was trying to secure a contract with a special credit financing place. They refused to provide any maintenance records prior to the sale. Against my better judgement and the belief that people are naturally good people, I bought the vehicle through the special credit financing place to help them secure their contract. They did agree to replace the timing belt and water pump as part of the sale. I also inquired about a noise the car made when started. They said it was probably just the serpentine belt but would be taken care of during the timing belt and water pump maintenance. A day following the purchase the check engine light came on, I notified them and they agreed to take care of it when the timing belt and water pump was serviced. The vehicle went in for the work to be done a few days later. Longer story shorter, they had the vehicle for a week and the roof was damaged while in their care. They denied responsibility of the damage. But, when I was there to pick the vehicle back up it clearly had just been sanded down as there was a fine layer of dust over the entire roof, which was also observed as odd ny the finance manager who assisted me outside. Im assuming they tried to conceal whatever they did. I then took the vehicle in for a third party inspection due to their lack of professionalism and callousness. The vehicle failed inspection for a rotted rear subframe, tires and brakes despite them placing an inspection sticker on it as of 02/2018. The third party inspection also found low oil and coolant levels which I made clear that I was concerned about as they supposedly had just done the timing belt and water pump. They finally agreed to make the repairs and investigate the low fluid levels, only after the failed inspection, many emails back and forth between the sales manager, the finance manager, the service manager, the general manager and myself. After about 4 weeks of them having my vehicle to repair all of the issues, I was told it was ready but they will not make any additional repairs unless its covered under warranty. The following day I noticed fluid underneath the vehicle, it was coolant. I thought maybe it was just overflow from them topping it off. But that wasnt the case, the radiator is now in need of being replaced... and not covered under warranty despite it either 1) needing repair at the time of sale or 2) done purposefully by their own hands. Not only do they sell unsafe vehicles but their mechanics are clearly incompetent. I wish I could give them 0 stars but I suppose they deserve 1 for a complimentary tank of gas.

SCAM! Do not take your business here. I recently took my car in for some maintenance and when I called to pick it up, was told my tire was not drivable so Id need to wait until they could replace it Monday. Since I needed it over the weekend, I called AAA and they arrived to fix...nothing. It turns out my tires werent even missing air, let alone needed a new tire. Sadly, this was my 3rd such instance of terrible service: the summer of 2018 I was told my car needed thousands of dollars in unexpected repairs, and when I took it somewhere else for a second opinion, they told me I needed absolutely nothing done. When I mentioned these incidents to the manager, his only response was okay. The fact that he had no apology speaks to the fact that this is how they routinely treat their customers. They may smile to your face but they will screw you behind your back.

I went here to get my old VW checked out because it was slipping when going into first gear. I wanted to see if it was something minor that I could get fixed before selling the car as I was moving across the country and planing to buy a new car when I got there. This was the only place in the area that would look at a VW transmission as they are a sealed transmission. When I took it in I explained that I intended to sell the car and didnt want them to spend over an hour diagnosing the problem as their diagnostics were $92/hr. They called me later that day and explained that two gaskets needed to be repaired on it and had caused the transmission oil to leak out and it was at very low levels and that this is what they believed was causing it to slip going into first gear but they couldnt guarantee that this would fix it as they didnt know if there was damage done to the transmission. When I went to pick it off the lot (I didnt want to put $900 into a car I was going to sell) the mechanic that worked on my car said that he was surprised I wasnt getting the work done and strongly recommended me putting the work into the car and after I told them I wasnt sure he also said that I shouldnt drive it off the lot as he would be surprised if it made it a mile. I eventually went back and picked up my car along with the diagnostics from the dealership and drove it TO THE TOWN OVER with no problems. I listed the car and had someone look at it and gave them the information that the dealership gave me along with the contact information for the mechanic that worked on my car so he could ask him any questions I couldnt fully answer. A couple hours later I got a call back from the interested buyer saying the mechanic had told him the leaking transmission fuel most likely WOULDNT cause the problem my car was experiencing and that the transmission was most likely damaged and said that they didnt want to scare me because I was a young women. I have never been so offended in my life. The icing on the cake was when I picked up the car I was discussing new cars I wanted to buy and a staff member made a comment about how if I couldnt afford to put $900 into my car how could I afford a new one. Not only was the whole experience unprofessional but they operated in an unethical and sexist manner. I would never recommend my worst enemies to go here for service. I can confidently say I will never buy another volkswagon.
