Walked around for 20 minutes, no greeting, no approach, two associates on staff in a nearly empty store. They helped a man that walked in after me though, and one employee totally disappeared. Games were mixed and disorganized on the shelves and there were gaping holes of missing product. Lighting was shoddy, and the gate looks like its been taped. The PUR is $20 now too, which is a joke. I love buying physical games but not from here anymore.

Do NOT buy refurbished consoles from gamestop. They do NOT verify their consoles. I bought a ps4 pro refurbished in 2017. My console recently stopped accepting game discs. Sony says there is a certain screw you can tighten on the disc drive to fix the problem i was having. Come to find out, my refurbished unit from gamestop was missing that screw. I went to FlatIrons gamestop to get a new ps4. They wouldnt accept my account credit, AND they tried to sell me a ps4 that ALSO did not have the fix screw. They nearly sold me another console that would eventually break. In fact, dont ever do business with Gamestop. Dont give them your games because they wont give you fair credit AND they wont accept the credit when you try to buy something from them. Truly a bunch of scam policies. The staff is nice, but Gamestop, the corporate monster, is evil. Power to the players is their motto, but instead I feel violated.

I worked for Gamestop on and off for about 6 years, and this is by far the most lackluster, empty Gamestop Ive ever been in. Its like, when the stock plummeted and then skyrocketed shortly after, corporate just forgot completely about this store, and now its surviving on its last leg.Was gonna give it 1 star, but theres a Cinnabon on the other side of the mall, so I gave this review a bonus point due to proximity.

Very friendly staff, super helpful. Got the game I was looking for with no problems at all. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for new or used games and systems.

Regular gamestop, the associate was very nice and helpful. The store was organized well at the time and was fairly clean.

Has a buy 2 get 1 sale on used games... had none of the games we picked out on hand. They recommended we go order them online but didnt have 2 of the games online. Why bother having cases for games if you dont have them on hand? And why send everyone online if you have a brick and mortar store, especially when you dont have anything we wanted on your website either? Poor business tactics... This will not be where we go to buy games.

Bought a $70 game here and the download codes were already redeemed. The employee at the store told me I had to contact Sony about it. Guessing one of the employees stole the codes. Obviously wont be buying from them again.

Horrible experience. EXTREMELY rude staff. There was a 5 person limit on customers inside the store, which is fine and understandable due to Covid. However, my boyfriend and I waited outside as the sign suggested. We waited as there were 5 people in the store. So we waited until 2 people came out, no one else was waiting to go into the store, so we entered. We walked around for a bit and then started talking about some games. This is when neckbeard comes over to us and asks us to go outside because there was a family here before us. They kicked us outside their store to let 5 ADDITIONAL people inside the store (leaving 8 PEOPLE inside the store, instead of their suggested 5.) My boyfriend and I looked at each other, then the employee, and who seemed dumber than a box of rocks, and then left once we realized what a waste of space those employees are. Its okay, your prices are about as ridiculous as your employees, we dont need it. thats what the internet is for! Cant wait to see this business burn to the ground like Blockbuster did! Thanks for helping us realize this isnt the place to shop! Do not take your business here or to any gamestop for that matter.

Had the pleasure of dealing with Corrine (sp?), the store manager. She AND her team were very helpful. I had a return and was a little confused. She explained everything and I could tell she genuinely cared and wanted to help. She totally went above and beyond for our family. Its so nice and reassuring to know there are still people like this in the retail/sales world. Highly recommend this particular Game Stop guys!!!

Called this gamestop asking questions about employment after I had submitted an online application. Victor I think was his name was really rude and sounded like a jerk. When I had asked if anyone recently got hired he instantly turned me down. Wouldn’t want to work for this place anyways especially if you treat customers or applicants in this manner.

I was planning to buy two titles named: Slime rancher and Ark. I waited in line while the employees talked to someone for 20 MINUTES. When I finally got to the desk, they said, OOOOOoo, iM sOrRy, BuT wE dOnT hAvE tHiS gAmE rIgHt NoW. yOu ArE gOiNg To HaVe To BuY iT oNlInE. Why was it on the shelf? If I cant buy it in store, then why is the title on show??? I cant belive I wasted half an hour waiting to be dissapointed. Dont come here.

Easily the worst GS we’ve been to. They’re not following their own rules or regulating customer activity as they say they are. Victor so kindly helped direct us to the Xbox controllers, then we stood in line for 40 solid minutes in a shop without the air conditioning going while he told his life story to another customer... only for him to then say “oh, all Xbox controllers are completely out of stock the 88th and Sheridan store might have them”. If you’re out of stock 1. Take the display down or mark with “OUT OF STOCK” signs 2. Don’t direct customers to the display and not bother to mention that the product isn’t even in stock.

This place is a dumpster fire, dont shop here.

The last few times Ive been in here,the staff took the extra time to discuss my gaming desires. Sounds weird, but it wasnt just them recommending games for the sake of recommending them. I really appreciated their insight of what I would probably enjoy or what I may not enjoy. Well done for their employees. I will continue to shop here.

Its so busy that it can be a nightmare to try to shop in (its so small!) and employees are too aggressive about wanting to help you find something (not their fault, I assume its from pushy management). If they have what you need, its convenient.

Went in to buy a switch and spent the 5 minutes there being STRONGLY discouraged by Dillan. He told us to wait until a holiday like black Friday because youre wasting money if you dont. I tried to argue that I dont mind that but he again pushed about waiting another couple months because they arent worth it. Left feeling stupid for even trying to buy one. Go to another game stop if you want to actually feel like they want your business.

Im 34 years old and I was refused a game because it was rated M for mature and I only had a temporary I D. The kid that spent 15 minutes discussing games with me and recommending games to me wouldnt sell them to me. They need to put up a BIg sign that says the purchasing rules. Brought in an xbox 360 to sell was told they didnt have a charger for the xbox and Id have to buy one I said that was fine. He said to bring it to the sheridan store because they didnt have one in the store. So I go there, i dont live anywhere near these places, and then was told that I need an hdmi cord and I couldnt sell it. I dont know why I keep coming to gamestop. Gamestops just need to close everywhere.

Very unimpressed. Went in to buy a couple Xbox games, the worker never greeted us or even acknowledged we were there. Literally one of 2 customers in the store, and I’m assuming the other was the associates friend because he spent over 10 minutes in line with him and still never acknowledged us in line. We finally put our games back and left, it would be faster to wait for amazon to ship than buy here.

GAME STOP TAKE NOTE YOU HAVE A SUPER STAR EMPLOYEE WHO GOES TO EVERY LINGTH NOT ONLY TO GET CUSTOMERS BUT KEEP CUSTOMERS. i have dealt with best buy for FAAAR FAAAR TO LONG. They are HORRIBLE to deal with. I wS literally about to dump my playstation entirely and chalk it up to growing up. Ive had said playstation 3 since it came out. Day of. I wasnt about to let it go. Best buy completely dumped me on a second ps3 wih a warranty claiming that i was trying to use the warrenty to fox the original console. We went around for 3 weeks to the point where i actually was asked to leave the store. I shot a HUGE BIRD to the manager who was a complete dick and said you lost all my business. The manager himself said well im sure game stop will hell you. As an insult. So i charged my bunns over to game stop flat irons and spoke with christina. 2 hours later i hade a new playstation a hand full of games a new controller and some goodies to go with. I told her then she was amazing. She literally made triple sure i was taken care of. Im semi disabled. I have long periods of down time while i deal with my life long disability. Gaming has become how i cope with the pain and forget about the realities of my disability. Losing a system is like losing a friend. Christina understood this took me serious and has made a life long customer out of me. And today was no different im the very proud owner of a brand spanking new ps4 black opps3 edition. Ill be getting an xbox 1 for my girlfriend in jan. i also have since began gathering monumental amounts of games. My favorite is my collection of tin top box games. Especially my mass effect 3. But battle front is running for that crown. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE KEEP CHRISTINA. SHE KILLS IT ALL DAY EVERY DAY !!
