I was having an issue with my vehicle (something very minor) and even though they did not find anything wrong they thoroughly explained what to do if it happens again and told me I would be able to bring my car in right away for them to take another look. I have bought several cars over the years. To be frank, I had not considered Tremonte or a Buick /Cadillac. I saw one that piqued my interest and took the ride down, but was not expecting much. Boy, was I wrong! From the outright honesty of the Sales Associate and Manager, the flexibility they provided in working with me; even letting me take the car I was thinking of purchasing for a few hours on my own, to a fair appraisal of my current car...Everything was simple, concise and prompt. Also, it says a lot that the dealership is clean, but a little dated. I will take dated any day of the week over being overcharged for some fancy showroom. I am so happy with my purchase, and happy with the service I received.

Purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle sight unseen from Tremonte after contacting them online. Very easy to deal with and quick to respond to all of my questions. I’ve typically had negative experiences at car dealerships over the years but I would highly recommend Tremonte. We drove 2+ hours to buy a vehicle we had never driven nor had we seen it in person. BEWARE!! The salesman are nice and friendly but then they have another person (TOM) that will make a deal about the price and when you go back to purchase the vehicle the price he agreed on is not the same as what they have the purchase papers but is several thousands of dollars more!! We are all tired of getting SCAMMED these days!! I was all prepared with a ten thousand dollars deposit on a new vehicle however at the time of purchase they raised the agreed on price by 3000.00!!! People should be arrested for scamming people but we all know “what goes around comes around”.

My tire had a nail in and the maintenance told me its not patchable and that I need a new tire $231 total cost. So I went for a second opinion from a tire store and they saw the nail, they said its patchable also the guy showed me exactly were the nail should have been for it to be replaced.... the tire shop saved me $220 😅 ... never going to do anything for my car in Branford GMC. TRUST IS EARNED AND I DONT TRUST THEM ANYMORE

Good service and quick. The people are easy to work with and they dont B.S. you into doing work that doesnt need to be done. They are very honest, and take great care of their customers. In the past 2 years I had one issue and that was my lugs nuts were put on hand tight and after a day or so two of them fell off. So when I called about , they rushed right out to my job and fixed it as quick as they could get there.

Never knew a dealership could reject working with a warranty company until my last recent visit. Wasted time and money.12/17/20 - In response to the below comment by the owner: I was NEVER given that option. I was simply told that they do not work with car sheild and it would cost $1600 to fix my car. Thats THE only reason I declined services.

Steve Mancuso and Chris Donofrio are two standup guys. I had such a no hassel, great experience buying my truck there that my sister bought an Acadia from them the week after. My mother brought her car in for service, paid for a vehicle inspection. Work was not performed and when we left the car was rattling and making noises. In the technician report it stated he test drove the vehicle. The service manager John admitted they did not check the vehicle fluid levels or test drive even though we paid for those services. After charging us $1400 for work that was not performed they then wanted to charge an additional 3500 To fix the car. We have been customers of the dealership for 30 years and you do that to75-year-old woman I thought is unethical and disgraceful on a personal and a business level

I am not usually one to give a review unless I had a horrible experience and want to explain my disappointment but if you are in the market for a new or gently used car this is the place to go!!! Chris in sales knew each vehicle inside and out and answered all questions and did not hassle me - I did express I don’t like to be hounded! All the staff were personable and kind - they didn’t make me feel like they needed my purchase to stay in business. Needless to say I drove out on Monday with my new car! If you need a car and want a good experience this is the place to go!

Best service department and sales force. Service Manager , John, goes beyond expectations. A recent example - I was in NYC and lost the car’s FOB and he called all around NYC try to find one at a local Cadillac dealer. When he was unsuccessful, he had one shipped overnight at no cost to me from Philadelphia and when I had the car towed back to Branford it was all taken care of by time I took the train home the next day. The time and caring he and they all show, I have never experienced before in any service department This is why I will only lease my vehicles from Tremonte.

If I could rate Tremonte more than 5 stars I would. The service department (John) and the entire staff are excellent. I returned from vacation to find my 2017 Cadillac XT5 had no brakes. The vehicle is still under warranty and only has 16,000 miles on it. I called my local dealership where I had purchased the vehicle and as always I got the service departments voice mail. So I left a message and waited about an hour for a call back. In the mean time I called Roadside assistance and had a tow truck dispatched to my home for the trip 1.5 miles away to the dealer.I was notified that my tow was 15 minutes away so I called the dealer back again. Wow they answered the phone! I explained the situation and was told, “Well you can tow it here but it’s going to sit in the lot for at least 10 days before we can look at it.” I’m like what?? The reply was “you think I have mechanics just waiting for cars that need repair?” (Yes that’s what business you are in) ‘You need an appointment first.” So I then ask about a loaner. The reply “nope.”Now this dealership was going to be shutdown by GM several years back because of poor performance and refusal to upgrade its facilities. At the time I was an elected official in the community and along with many other elected officials we successfully lobbied GM to keep the dealership open and preserve the employees jobs. So I did expect more than a rude reply back from the service manager.So, I cancelled the tow truck and looked up the reviews for other dealerships and Tremonte had the highest. I was a bit aggravated with my local dealership experience so my wife called them. She was asked if we could get it there ASAP? We said sure. So I called AAA and they towed the car the 25 miles to Tremonte. I have the 100 mile tow package so it was free. It arrived there at 3:00pm. At 4:00pm she got a call advising her of what was wrong. The service manager John told her what it needed and that he had 2 of the 3 parts in stock to repair it! Wow no appointment and not a regular customer and in an hour they did more than my dealer was going to do in 10 days! The next afternoon she received a phone call that the car was repaired and ready to pickup. Oh they also performed the scheduled maintenance on the car for us!So thank you Tremonte for conducting business the way it should be. In 2020 my wife will be due for a new car. She likes the new XT-6 and I am looking to replace my 8 year old truck. I will be seeing you for my purchases.

Watch out for car damage during servicing! Following my last oil change and tire rotation, a week or so later I found that the corner of my hood was bent by an object which must have been left between the hood and fender when it was closed. Knowing that the Tremonte Service Center was the only people under my hood in months, there was nowhere else the damage could have come from. I struggled with what result I would get but finally came in last week to bring it to the service manager’s attention. The manager looked at it and assured me that his people would have notified him of the issue if it happened there. He then went on to point out a ding and a scratch elsewhere on the vehicle, as if the new one in the hood did not matter, and expressed that it would be hard to expect them to repair my vehicle or take any responsibility. I explained that I had had the vehicle for 2+ years and did not expect the car to stay perfect forever, and that one of the people had at least apologized for hitting my car in a parking lot.The purpose of customer feedback is for future learning and training but it was obvious he could not see that, and offered no apology or concern. He explained he had a dentist appointment to get to and he would call me back when he had more time to look into the matter. I got the reply that was anticipating, No Call Back, No Concern, No Responsibility or at least I Will Review With My Employees. An apology or a call back might have gone a long way to secure future business and avoid this review.Unless it is a GM mechanical issue, go to JL or a small garage for an oil change, where you might get some customer concern and even a cheaper price.

This is the place to come to purchase a vehicle. Came home today with a Certified Pre-Owned 2016 GMCCanyon. Ask for Sales Associate Arvy Samis . He was so professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Ive been to a number of dealerships and this was the first no-nonsense , no verbal rigmarole , business deal Ive experienced. Great dealership.. Chris in sales did a terrific job - knew all about the new TourX (most Buick dealers are not familiar with this car). Got a great deal! Also John in service department - diagnosed and fixed a fairly complex problem - he persevered and solved the problem. My new Buick replaces 6 Mercedes in a row. Great experience our salesman Chris wasnt pushy he was one of the most informed car salesman I have ever met we bought a Buick tourx excellent car great value And Tom the finance manager was fair, thorough, and helped us get a refund on our trade-ins extended warranty that we were previously told we could not get back. What a pleasure! My husband and I had leased a vehicle and learned that leasing is THE most expensive way to finance a car. So, we budgeted and saved up and started shopping for its replacement. Our leased Honda Ridgeline was to be turned in early August, 2019. We shopped a few months early, deciding on which pre-owned vehicle we really wanted to get into next. We test-drove Lexus, Toyota and GMC. We needed something with cargo space for my husbands near-weekly runs to Home Depot for his many projects as well as our beach equipment (wagon, chairs, cooler). We just really loved the GMC Acadia with the Denali trim. Tremonte had the car we both wanted (Tricoat White with Metallic flake with a Cocoa interior) and their salesperson, Christopher, was such a nice, laid-back and kind guy. I really wanted to work with him, as he lacked the slime factor so many used car salespeople have! After about a month I contacted Chris and asked for the cost of this vehicle out-the-door and the dealership was not disappointing. We not only got a good price, they took over the remaining two payments on the lease AND they took care of DMV registration on that leased vehicle. My ONLY disappointment was the truck was a bit dirty (but Im extremely fussy) and I climbed into the back and cleaned up what appeared to be soda splashes on the walls and a couple of spots on the ceiling (3rd row area) and I hadnt noticed a tiny dent in the side door or the paint scratches where I need to get some touch-up paint. Im sure they will take care of the tiny dent and provide me with the paint when I call after the weekend. We literally just picked up the Acadia less than 48 hours ago! Overall I give them a 5 because they have truly gone the extra mile to make us happy. I appreciate them, particularly Chris. Its been a pleasure to work with Tremonte!

The entire staff of the Tremonte Auto group were absolutely incredible and consummate professionals! They made our car purchase such a smooth and incredibly enjoyable experience!No pressure on their part which is so refreshing! From the owner Tony Tremonte, to Jeff and Tom as Managers - to THE STAR Sales guru Ken McKay who is so customer service oriented and explained every excellent feature on our new CT5 SUV Crossover with extreme patience!. This car is one class act with all the right features and sets it apart from other premium SUV / crossovers. We were considering a BMW but discounted buying one because of the high cost of using premium fuel - not needed in the Cadillac - and the high cost of the repairs in the BMX. Ps. The warranty on the Cadillac is incredible and better than the BMW - bumper to bumper 48 months - and 7 years on the power train and engine! Plus 4 years of free maintenance! Went in for service with two concerns and left with the same concerns both not being adressed. Service advisor as well as technician had no clue how to address my problem so just became very irritated and dismissive of my problem. Wouldnt recommend it to my worst enemy. The cashier was nice for what its worth.

The entire staff at Tremonte did a dynamite job replacing / repairing door damage to my Jaguar XJL in their collision center department. Angelo was hands on, and the guys in the service center helped answers questions about the cars performance. The front office people could not be nicer, and the car was returned in its original new condition, and clean. I also received help with some of the dashboard features and functions because Tremontes crew called the car maker to get answers.

We spoke to Tyler the Auto tech. In the service department about different purchase options for a transfer case that would fit our 2006 Cadillac escalade esv and he told us if we go online and buy 1 just have it shipped to the garage and I did,then we went to pay for our Truck to leave ,but as we got down the street our Truck shift gears so we turned around an went back they told us we had a bad transmission which we knew it was lie so we brought it to another garage and they told us it was the speed sensor on the transfer case that Tremont Auto Group put in.I talk to John the Manger an he said it was my fault cause I didnt buy the transfer case from them even though his techs put it in
