If youre anything like me, then ice cream may be your Achilles heal. Well if youre interested in satisfying that craving with some fresh delicious locally crafted ice cream, then I have the inside scoop! The Revolution Ice Cream Co. is a local shop with a location in Brandon and one in Tampa. The Brandon location will take you back to those old classic coffee shops with poetry reading and live music. The walls are lined with paintings from local artists, and they even have some small locally made crafts for sale. Now onto the ice cream. The flavors are as eclectic as the shop, and include things like Porkys Delight a vanilla ice cream with bacon, or Matts Fatty Rolls a cinnamon roll ice cream, they have a total of 18 regular flavors and they rotate in specialties. The menu also has several recommended combinations for sundaes! If after perusing the menu, you just cant decide, well then why not just take the Anarchy Challenge which serves up 24 scoops. The best part, if you eat it by yourself in 30 minutes or less its free! I mean really, its only 6 lbs of ice cream! Fail the challenge and youll be forking over $39 for the attempt. Even if youre not up to challenge, this unique shop and delicious ice cream are sure to satisfy everyone!

We stopped in on a Saturday night for a quick treat for the family and what a treat it was!! We have heard so many good things about this place and I am so glad we finally decided to check it out. Not only do they have some fantastic, funky flavors to choose from but the Decor is eclectic, artsy and fun. There are little local made items you can buy like bracelets and candles and all of the art you see hanging on the wall is for sale. There are board games, books and movies that you are welcome to use while you visit which is so neat when you are looking to spend time with your family. As far as the ice cream goes....huge hit!! We got the Frosted Flakes, Oops all Berries and cafe con leche flavors and they taste exactly like the cereal and coffee, so cool!! Very affordable and a great way to just hang out and have a little bit of fun.

My favorite ice cream place ever!! I moved 3 hrs away but when I visit town I always make time to stop by for some of Matts fatty roll! Best flavor ever!

This was my first visit to this place, and it certainly wont be the last. The ice cream is delicious! We had the Goat Cheese with Habanero, definitively a interesting combination that results in a whole lot of flavor and a slight kick! We combined this with the Cafe con Leche, real coffee and caffeine, and the Caramel Vanilla Pralines...we enjoyed every bite! This place was being attended to by two young ladies with such a great disposition for customer service, they made our experience just so much better!

This was THE best chocolate ice cream I’ve ever had and I’m a huge chocolate lover. The brownie bits tasted homemade (rather than that fake taste you get in pints from the store) and the little chocolate chips were great. You get a perfect balance and a little bit of everything in every bite. We will be ordering again!!!

Quaint and comfy decor. Delicious combinations of ice cream treats, not the standard fair of big chains. People working there are pleasant. You might have to wait but its worth it. Sit down and enjoy the art work, books, and make yourself at home while they make your order. The waffle cones are fantastic too.

One of my favorite places in town!! They have fresh homemade waffle bowls. Their espresso bomb is my favorite. Their walls are littered with local art which changes as pieces are sold and new things become available. They foster donations to Haiti and other causes as well. Great place to bring friends and family, play a board game or admire artwork while you enjoy a sweet treat.

I really wish I took pictures, because this place is so cozy and aesthetically pleasing to look at. It feels so home-like and the atmosphere was calm and nice. They sell a lot of homemade things, including candles and wax melts which smell amazing! The ice cream is great too, I got the cookie monster and can confirm it is an amazing flavor all around.I think even to check this place out is worth the visit. You may find something youll like, as there are a lot of handmade crafts in there too!Plus I just realized you could buy the artwork on the walls...? I didnt even realize! Thats amazing.

I get the hype now...I was visiting from out of town and stumbled upon this place on Google. It is AWESOME!!! Sam was so nice!!! Go see her immediately!I got a sampler that cones in this cute little egg carton--perfect if your like me and have a decision making disorder, hahahaha!You cannot go wrong with any flavor. Tasting them made it worse because I wanted them all! So the sample pack was the best option!

The Revolution Ice Cream has unique flavors and a cool hipster/artsy vibe. When we visited, they had one vegan flavor (wish they had more, of course) but it was a good one, made with coconut milk.They also had a vegan caramel flavored topping and a fully loaded Sundae for two ran about $9, including tip.Along with Thai Legacy, Taco Bus, Mellow Mushroom, Square 1, Grape Leaf Express, and a few others, Brandon is becoming a hub for omnivores and the most vegan-friendly city around, next to St. Pete.I recommend The Revolution, even with the limited vegan options. Just glad they have at least one!

I had the Elvis sundae and husband had the super chocolate fudge brownie sundae... Or something like that 😂 the Elvis sundae had bacon but it was kind of chewy. Not a huge fan of that but the ice cream was great!

For this being my first and possibly only visit, the customer service was subpar. I ordered two scoops and the young lady overcharged me (she rang up my order as two one scoop, instead of the two any flavor). After another customer placed her order, I noticed that she was only charged $4.99 instead of $3.99x2. If I hadn’t said anything, I wonder if she would have just left my order unchanged. I even left her a tip. She did end up adjusting the cost after I called her out. Also, didn’t ask if my order was to go either, good thing I only live five minutes and had and extra cup in my car as I drove home holding onto an uncovered ice cream container. SMH, DO BETTER!!!!

I visited this place with my husband and daughter on the Spring break, it did not seem very fancy from the outside but we were nicely surprised by the cozy environment, delicious ice cream, fair price and very generous scoops!

I have been a fan of The Rev since I moved to the area in 2016 - I cant speak enough on how welcoming the Brandon store has been. It is always clean, well-stocked with fun books to read and games to play.

Pricey sundae full of added sugar. Very unhealthy! The Florida Department of Health should shut down this place. Every piece of sundae has unnecessary added sugar. Chocolate, brownie, fudge felt and tasted like I had just consumed bag of sugar.

This is the best ice cream place Ive ever been to by far. They have such unique flavors and combinations. My favorite is the EuroTrash. Everytime I visit my family in Riverview I come to this location in Brandon. They have tons of artwork you can buy as well from local artists I believe. Its a great atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and fast. Highly recommend this ice cream shop! You wont regret it!

Absolutley loved this place. Its so fun to sit and look at the artwork that they have to purchase. Game boards and books for you to play and read. Offered samples before I bought. The blue berry icecream was out of this world. Walked in and instantly smelled waffle cones being made.

Small shop with unique flavors including gluten free, vegan and cbd options. Staff was friendly and ice cream was fantastic! Its in a tiny corner of a strip mall but its fantastic. For the short time I was there, there was a steady stream of people coming in to get ice cream.

Hands down the best ice cream in the Tampa bay area. We first heard about this place from a friend when we lived in Clearwater about 6 years ago. Just because it has always been a little far from us we dont get to go too often, but we have been know to drive 45 minutes when Im really craving the blueberry muffin top. I missed my exit to get on 75 south today and said well were headed to Brandon might as well go get some ice cream! Everything there is so good. Cool art around the place too. Highly recommend!

Cookie Monster was super delicious. Some of the best chocolate mint Ive ever had. Good sized portions as well, not too small to leave yoh wanting, but not too large that you question if you can feasibly finish it in one sitting. Cool artwork available for purchase as well.

This is not just ice cream but an experience! The One That Started It All was amazing. A goat cheese habenero ice cream with a raspberry ribbon...yes please. I chose to get the sampler which was 6 mini scoops of 6 different flavors. (I couldnt decide). Will most definitely be coming back!!!

Wow. I had the blueberry muffin and the pancake ice cream and both were amazing. The blueberry ice cream itself had a great flavor and texture. But the combination was life changing. Obsessed 😍 I dont think Ill ever be able to eat coldstones again.

Everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is cosy. My personal favorite is the vegan Coffee and Oreos. Im lactose intolerant, but I promise all their dairy options are worth it.

Ive only been there once, I didnt even know anything about the place until I got a delivery from there ( im a dasher!) And I had them make me a vanilla milkshake. It was a small Styrofoam glass like super small for $8 !!!!! And as im doing the delivery I take my first sip and it tasted like rotten milk!! 🤮. I did get my money back though thank god

Fantastic experience! They have both the classic and some very creative flavors. We tried the sampler and chose the ghost pepper vanilla as one of our flavors. As you would expect the ghost pepper really came through, but so did the vanilla flavor. As a sort of bonus, the coolness of the ice cream made the ghost pepper bearable. All the flavors we tried were good. Seating inside was comfortable and we had enough room for our party of six.

So good, not too sweet and no bad after taste like some places. Great customer service and very friendly. Kids loved it

A weird (in a good way) ice cream parlor with super tasty and inventive flavors. The staff is super nice and the local art for sale on the walls is worth a second look. The chocolate sundae is especially good but I like to mix and match different flavors each time.The outside looks a little sketchy but walk inside and youll be happy you did.
