I used to go to Plato’s Closet, but now that I’m in my mid-30s, I want classier, more mature style clothes. Style Encore has really cute clothes, shoes, and accessories at fair prices. Most of what they carry is name brand, and all of it is in brand new/gently used condition. If you follow them on Instagram, they post pictures of outfits and you can claim items and pay online. I’ve never sold here, but I’m a frequent shopper and I love it!

The new girls need some training, when I ask if an item is available they lie and say no it sold. But It’s still posted on IG. They watch you while you shop and ask 100 times you need any help, it’s so not necessary to follow people when shopping. This store needs a new staff!!!!

This is a great little store, lots of variety and very clean. The staff makes you feel right at home! IV brought clothing there a few times. A great way to make extra cash if your cleaning out your closet! Thank you Style Encore

My daughter was needing a very specific item of clothing, and after browsing for a few minutes without finding anything like what we were looking for, I asked an employee if she knew if they might have something. Instead of just saying yes or no or telling us where we might find it, she stopped what she was doing and went through several racks and found five different dresses that were a close match to my description. One of the dresses was just right, and we only spent $16. I really appreciate that she took the extra time to help us.

The manager offered to purchase from me two purses. I had a gold new designer Hilfiger backpack from Macy’s price tag on the bag for $55 regularly $128. I also had a new blue nine west bag originally $89.original price tag on the purse. I’ve always received reasonable prices on my items from Styleo Encore in the past. I do not think the offer was reasonable. The manager offered me six dollars for each purse, I declined. I brought my concerns to the owner Bryan Havener via email and he never responded back to me. I suppose, it was not important enough for him to respond.It seems like they are trying to take advantage of the consumer with offers extremely low. I thought it was an insult to offer $6.00 per purse. I would not recommend this establishment.Thank you,

I enjoy coming to this store to shift through the racks and see if I can find anything that catches my eye. I am a 26 year old mother of 3 who only buys consignment clothes. Every time I come here, it is clean and well organized by size. Employees are friendly and helpful if I need help finding something in particular. I enjoy buying clothes from trendy stores at a lower price.

On there Instagram account I bought a Dooney and Bourke purse in 2018 through the phone. I dont normally buy Dooney and Bourke or name brands and this purse is my first name brand bag but today I was told it fake Embarrassed I went to my local Style encore and ask to see if it was real and indeed they told me it was fake. Im disappointed that this happened to me and I dont expect a refund or anything because it two years.Update Nov 30th: Called and they are going to check the bag. Very kind about helping.

I love this place. Warning- Ive literally never left workout finding something I HAD to have! They always have an awesome selection of both plus size andnormal clothing. Everything is always quality stuff in like new condition.

I came here for the first time with my sister and two younger nieces. Heard nothing but great things about this store so figured I should try it out. The moment we got into the store I was being followed by a blond Caucasian female who would not stop watching us. I’m in the front looking at shoes she’s pretending to use the side register. I walk to the pants she walks beside pretending to organize the pants I go back to the front looking at shirts and she comes to where I’m at. She watches my nieces as if we were going to steal something. I felt violated and highly uncomfortable. I felt as though it was a race thing as we were not the only ones In the store, but we were the only “mixed skin” people there. Ended up leaving highly upsetting. Sad to give them such a low review as it was a nice store but unfortunately I was unable to have the experience I hoped for due to stalking.

Pretty good selection here, even for my plus size ladies. The girl that helped me was very polite and thorough. Value for the price does vary, but I did purchase 2 items the 1st trip.

Looking at the other negative reviews, I have to agree with their opinions on the stores buying process. Ive shopped there several times and noticed that some of the clothes were obviously worn, pilling, faded, etc. So, when I finally decided to bring in some clothes (ALL name brand and ALL in excellent condition), I figured this would be easy cash. NOT! I had 2 bags full and they only took ONE item and that was a top that they offered me under $3 for. WHAT??? Do you SEE what you have hanging in your store?? Well, I ended up selling several items on Facebook Marketplace for lots of $$$. I will NEVER bring any more clothes in there again...not quite sure if Ill shop their again either.

Love the store! I bought a beautiful coach purse and clothes. I love the staff they are sweet and kind. I will be back at least once a week to get a purse and shoes. Style encore has great prices.

I love this store! The selection is not outdated but modern and great quality. The store is clean and organized. Awesome pricing and a good selection for different sizes. Oh! And the staff are warm amd friendly!

Had all name brand name clothes that had only been worn once or twice and they didnt buy a thing. They told me that some of the clothes were too worn. Liars. I dont think that they buy from African American people. Ive went there three times with bags of practically brand new, high end brand clothes, and theyve said either were not buying that style of clothing or their too worn. But theyll buy a pair of old navy jeans and sell them for $15. Liars! Will never go here again.

Here is a husband review. Get you wife to like Style Encore’s Facebook page or Instagram so she can show you what she likes. Give them and call and they will even ship it right to your door. The customer service is outstanding and the deals are great. Bought three Kate Spade purses that were like brand new! THANKS

I agree with the other reviews, their buying process is a joke. Most of the clothes they sell are what you might find at Goodwill. Faded, torn, piling. You bring in new with tags or like new and either they dont buy them or they pay nothing. I brought in 2 Dooney and Bourke handbags, new with the tags still on and they told me that only shoulder bags were in style. Crazy! Too many nice consignment shops in the area to deal with this place.

By far the most unprofessional clothing store. No customer service. I buy estates and would have been a repeated customer. I bought in a large Tupperware full of name brand cloth with tags by the way. Rep said cloths must be folded. Cloth was laid out flat and neatly. No hangers. Went outside, folded all garments only to be told garments have an essence and customer ahead did not have her clothing folded. If this store wants to stand by others stores such as Platos, their going to need new management. Very disappointed

Worst experience in my life, I went to the store today to sell some of my clothes and the lady who look like oriental “ I don’t know her name”, I wish I got her name, I was so nervous of the situation, she started yelling at me in front of the customers and staff because I brought my clothes in a plastic bag. That lady was so rude and racist. If you are hispanic don’t go to this store. They took 4 of brand new shoes and they offered me 12.00 when I pay 90.00 between the 4 pairs. I didn’t expect 90.00 but 12.77 come on? I recently moved from Indiana I have always shop at Style Encore with no issue.

I have shopped in consignment stores my entire life, I am not new to this process. I called to see what their process is and what sort of items they take I came in with all my items approximately 30 dresses 10 pair shoes few handbags and was told they are not taking those items at this time. What a waste of time, while she was looking at my items I was looking at the clothing on the racks, most were worn heavily and cheap. I do not recommend this shop.

I love Style Encore period!! Im a regular shopper at the Orlando store and i have shopped in store at the brandon location ( and online) as well as their South Carolina store. I didnt run into any issues. They must be doing something right because they always have nice clothes, jewelry, handbags, shoes, etc at a great price. As far as after a hurricane, we were lucky to have power. No fault of theres that a hurricane left them short staffed. Selling consignments maybe shouldve waited a bit.

I like everything they carry in the store. However, a couple days before irma I brought in some clothes to sell but they said they couldnt take them and could take them after the storm and when the store reopened. So today I went (to storm passed on monday) and they said again they couldnt take them now because they were short staffed. I have come out of my way to bring the clothes by and neither time they could accept them.

Found a dress for a wedding I needed. Great quality.

I was there today and had a bad experience. I agree with the other reviews. The owner, Jennifer, is very rude and unprofessional with people that NOT look Anglo. She is full of negative energy and bad attitude The staff told me that will take between 20-30 minutes to go through my items but Jennifer never call me. An hour later, I asked for an update and found out that was completed.

Totally agree with the negative reviews. They turned down brand new with tag white house black market Calvin Klein and express pieces. The person who spoke about them not buying from African Americans has a good point.
